We spontaneously went in with a group of six. The server didn't understand our orders, brought one wrong drink and three wrong food items. The food arrived before the drinks, and the food didn't arrive together. The last dish arrived after the first few people had already finished eating. The food could be better overall.

Friendly and fast service. The pizza was standard. The atmosphere was cozy.

Delicious food, fast service, reasonable prices

Very fast service. The apple strudel is good, but probably not made on-site. But the atmosphere is friendly and the latte macchiato is very warming in winter.

Well, good food is something else entirely, but you can eat it.

We went there to warm up with a mulled wine. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food. The staff was incredibly unfriendly, and it was the worst mulled wine we've ever had.

A total rip-off. The food is all frozen ready meals. The salad could be bought ready-made at the supermarket; it's completely dry. You can tell it came straight from a plastic bag. The food arrived way too quickly, which makes it obvious it was just reheated. The pizza was inedible… even my frozen pizza at home tastes better. The staff was also rather incompetent. We received the wrong Coke, and one of the dishes arrived twice. In the end, we paid €96 for four meals that probably cost no more than €10 each. Never again!

The hostage was incredible. Beautiful design inside and furnitures under daylight in the hall. Taste is good. The most beautiful thing was the lady who served us. I strogly suggest.

I was there with a friend. The café crème bore no resemblance to a café crème, and both cups were stained with coffee on the outside, even though they weren't full—unprofessional and unhygienic. The menu clearly stated "Hot Love, vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries." However, what was served was something completely different: mixed berries, cream, chocolate sauce, and blueberries and strawberries mixed into the ice cream. When I pointed this out, the only response was, "They're mixed berries"—no apology, no solution. Or rather, "The chef sometimes uses these mixed berries"!!! In the end, I didn't pay for the dessert, even though it was initially on the bill. Never again.

Tourist trap, Dr. Oetker's pizza is better.

We were a group of over 20 people. We had a reservation in advance. The staff assigned to us clearly didn't want to deal with guests. From the very beginning, they were so annoyed that we didn't feel welcome at all. Ordering drinks seemed to be too much for the server. Questions about the menu couldn't be answered. The epitome of unprofessional behavior was the statement: "I don't understand anything!" What is someone like that even doing working in the service industry? We had barely finished ordering when the first dish was served. As a group meal, it was a shame because the first people had finished long before the last person even received their food. That was very disappointing. Then a colleague found a hair in her food. The initial reaction to that wasn't good either. The lame "I'm sorry," followed later by the explanation that it was a piece of plastic from packaging, didn't really improve things. This colleague wasn't the only one who lost her aperitif. Seriously, what was a foreign object doing in food? Lack of care! ..... Not recommended. The replacement or coffee offered after 20 minutes... whatever it was, didn't make it any better. Who wants to eat or drink something that didn't belong in their food? That was not a pleasant experience! NOT RECOMMENDED

The food is very tasty, the cocktails are good, the service is very cool, communicates in several languages

The best creamy tomato soup and mushroom and cheese pizza I've had in Germany, plus very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere; a lovely place to eat, I highly recommend it.

A wonderful restaurant in the heart of the city. Many choices without compromising on quality. We tried schnitzel and burgers and they were really quite tasty. The portions are decent. It is worth trying their beers. I would like the waiters to speak better English and the toilet to be a little cleaner. Nevertheless, we were very pleased

During our trip to Heidelberg, we entered the charming venue, where we appreciated the atmosphere and, while ordering, noticed the owner was a hospitable Turkish man. We weren't very hungry, so we couldn't eat much, but the menu offered some good options. We tried the margarita pizza, which was delicious. Thank you for the complimentary treats, and we highly recommend it.

Zero stars, really. The ambiance is nice, but that's about it. My boyfriend and I ate there, and he got his food very quickly. However, I was completely forgotten. By the time my burger arrived, my boyfriend's casserole was no longer warm. When we tasted the food, it was immediately obvious that it was pre-made and not freshly prepared. I wouldn't normally write a review for bad-tasting food, BUT... shortly after eating, we both had severe stomach pains and nausea, which have lasted for a good two hours (as of now). It's a real shame; you want to have a nice evening together, and then you end up spending the whole evening together in the bathroom because of the food. Absolutely not recommended by us!!!

Despite arriving after 8 pm on Saturday, we still managed to get a table for ourselves and the stroller. The food arrived very quickly and was absolutely delicious. The waitress was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back! ❤️

We were there for the first time today with a stroller. The staff made sure we had enough space for it. Super friendly service, delicious food, totally fair prices – highly recommended! Especially in the evening, a great atmosphere and no long wait.

Our pizza was delivered without napkins, silverware, or plates. I had to walk into the server's station and ask for napkins. We had to ask a server to find our server for the bill. The pizza wasn't done in the middle. This was our final meal of the week in Heidelberg and the only bad experience we have had.

I cannot recommend this place. The price-performance ratio is completely off. My French onion soup was just a simple vegetable broth with onions and leeks. My glass arrived broken, and the waitress simply poured the contents out of the glass instead of making a new one. All in all, a complete disappointment—the worst restaurant I've been to in Heidelberg.

The food was very good, prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was nice, but the staff could have been a bit more attentive. The homemade lemonade tasted excellent. Highly recommended!

The coffee doesn't taste good. It tastes like filter coffee and plain water. I wouldn't recommend it. The food, however, tastes good.

The mackerel and salmon I ordered today were both delicious.

I loved everything: the tomato cream, the pizza bread, my husband's wrap, which he ate with delight, and the salad with cheese was spectacular. Everything was very clean, clean bathrooms, a clean place, and they served us very well. We'll definitely be back. Greetings from Mexico

Brasserie criticizes every bad review to maintain its 4.4-star reputation. Honest opinions about those who weren't enthusiastic about the food or service are swept under the carpet. I find that a shame, instead of accommodating the people.

It was very nice, the food was great (one star deducted because there were some carcasses in the meat, but that's not the chef's fault). The ambiance and service were also top-notch, and I really enjoyed the music. :) I can definitely recommend it. Unassuming from the outside, but super nice inside!

The burger was overcooked, the beer was like it was diluted with water. And at the end, when paying, he said that their terminal was not working and this was unexpected for us. After we said that it would have been better to warn in advance, he said what he said and started arguing. The impressions were negative.

The food was good, but there was no card payment option, even though it says card payment is allowed outside. I had to find a bank and then come back to pay.

But the atmosphere was good, and the Coke Zero was quite good. The pizza was more like a quick frozen pizza thrown in the oven. The schnitzel was anything but fresh. The service was also anything but competent; it has no place in a restaurant.

The bruschetta was very bad, nothing like a bruschetta. Cutlery was only served after I requested it (the food had already been at my table for 10 minutes). The music was very loud; after I asked four times if it could be turned down, my request was granted. The cashier double-charged for products, but this was only followed up after I wondered why the bill was over €70 for two pasta dishes and two drinks. Never again, thanks for ruining my evening.

Nice location but sadly the price does not reflect the quality of the food. I had a classic Wiener Schnitzel. To our dismay, the waiter did not get our order correct either.

My husband got his food, but unfortunately I didn't. My order was simply forgotten. Instead of attentively asking if everything was okay, the young lady preferred to stand outside smoking or busy on her cell phone. When I asked, instead of showing any understanding, she argued that I hadn't ordered anything at all. Honestly? My husband is eating, and I'm sitting there without one—how could that possibly be? A simple apology would have been the least I could have asked for, but instead I just got a long face and zero understanding. A tip: Less cell phone, more attention for the guests. Thanks for the dirty evening.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, from schnitzel to pasta to casseroles. The spaghetti is highly recommended. The price is reasonable, and the portions are larger than at most other pasta restaurants. The staff is very friendly, and the setting is lovely, thanks to its central location in the old town. A nice restaurant for dinner.

We stumbled upon it during our trip to Heidelberg. The place was wonderful and peaceful. There was calm music playing. The menu was very filling and delicious. Our waitress was a student girl from Mardin, and she was, of course, very attentive to us.

Food: ★★☆☆☆ Ordered: Fitness Salad, Salad Provence, Tomato Soup, and Mexican Pan. Unfortunately, one dish was completely forgotten, and the wrong one was served instead. Overall, the taste was average – not a disaster, but also far from what one would expect from the location. Service: ★★☆☆☆ Friendly, but unfortunately incompetent. A forgotten dish and incorrect orders shouldn't happen in an establishment of this size. Organization and attentiveness urgently need to be improved. Conclusion: Accordingly, the bill was also incorrect. The location is a definite plus, but the food and service still have a lot of room for improvement. With more care and organization, things could be much better here.

We visited this brasserie in May 2025 and had a delicious meal. We wanted to do the same thing again on July 17, 2025. We ordered the same food: onion soup and spaghetti aglio & olio. Nothing compared to May. The onion soup was a broth with a few sliced onions and a small piece of white bread with cheese on top for just under €8. A steep price. You could eat it, but it wasn't enjoyable. Then came the spaghetti aglio & olio. There was tomato sauce and small tomatoes in it, and garlic somewhere. I couldn't detect any oil. We sent the spaghetti back. There must be a new chef at the brasserie who doesn't know his craft. Both of these things had absolutely nothing to do with the dishes I was familiar with. As an aside: a 0.4L apple juice spritzer for €5.50, or 0.5L for about €6.80, is simply too much and much too expensive. It seems to me someone is trying to get rich quick. We won't be going to the brasserie again any time soon.

Very disappointing! The waiter had trouble taking our very simple (numbered) order. When our food was served, I realized I had received the wrong dish. When I complained, I was helped quickly, and the correct one was prepared as quickly as possible. That's why I got the second star. Nevertheless, we were left watching each other eat. By the time my meal was brought, my partner had already finished eating. She wasn't offered dessert or anything similar. That would have been the least I could have done in the situation (then I would have just watched, hungry 😉). Unfortunately, both dishes were only edible for the price. The dishes at the neighboring tables didn't leave a better impression. Therefore, absolutely not a recommendation!

Stay away from this place. Frozen food and canned sauce, and simply too expensive for what you get. But the staff was helpful.

Ate at the "Auflauf Brasserie." It had a whole lot of penne, but the promised ground meat and mushrooms had to be searched for. Easy way to make money with pasta and cheese. The taste was good, though.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Almost €50 for a frozen schnitzel that was neither fresh nor flavorful. Tough meat, sloppy breading, you can immediately tell this has nothing to do with fresh cooking. For the price, it's simply outrageous. Service was okay, but the food ruined everything. We are disappointed. Both the service and the food were below average, and the wait time was also long. Due to a lack of customers, our order was forgotten, something the waiter didn't notice until an hour later. Furthermore, our order had to be taken again. There was no apology, and we waited another 30 minutes. In general, the service was very inattentive, and we were barely noticed. The asparagus was watery, the hollandaise lumpy and already dried out, but what really got us over were the sprouting potatoes, whose sprouts weren't even removed but ignorantly seasoned. The pizza was okay, but not a particularly delicious treat. All in all, very disappointing.

I went there and they were friendly and their food taste delicious is cheap and worth to drive 100 km quality is good and for that it does not have to be cheap, I always want to come here, coffee tastes good too fish and meat are fresh

The service was very unfriendly. The food was mediocre. The nachos were a joke for the price. The baked potato was delicious, but the salad consisted of practically nothing but radicchio and barely any dressing. The homemade lemonades are sour...it gives you heartburn. The ambiance is nice, but the restrooms are awful.

Do not order the Wiener Schnitzel - it's the first time I've left all the food on my plate - the schnitzel was anything but tender and the salt shaker seemed to have fallen on the fries. The server didn't seem surprised. I'm not even talking about the salad, which was missing - I didn't ask for it, given what I described above. Avoid it.

A visit there is not recommended. We went for coffee and cake today on a holiday. The cake order took a very long time; we had almost finished our coffee. Then we were shocked when we got the bill: a slice of apple pie cost €6.90! It's a rip-off and a disgrace. The service staff were not very friendly.

I ate there alone. The server came very quickly, and I was able to order a drink. With the extensive menu, I needed a bit more time, and the server came by several times to ask if I had already chosen my menu. I wish he had waited until I closed the menu. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. The spaghetti carbonara was also good. The pasta could have been cooked a bit more; it was still quite firm. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay with a VISA debit or VISA credit card. These cards are standard these days and should be accepted. Luckily, I had some cash with me.

Hmm disappointing. Would I go again? No. I wouldn't recommend it either. The only good thing is the location, which is strategic. Being a large group, we had previously made the reservation. They didn't have the table ready when we arrived. The service was very very slow, we ourselves went through the menu and waited 30 minutes to receive the drink. Then: the dishes at the wrong time, the asparagus soup that was a starter came with the pizza last. The meat, extremely dry and very cooked. Finally, we ask for the bill and wait another 30 minutes to pay.

Cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. Homemade lemonade was very refreshing. Tagliatelle with salmon is highly recommended.....amazingly delicious!!!!!!!

Went out to eat here late in the evening and didn't regret it! I ordered the diplomatic schnitzel and was very impressed with the food. Even the side salad, like the rest of the meal, was well combined and delicately seasoned. The service was also very attentive and friendly, we also got a gift on the house! I'd be happy to come back!

The “coffee + cake” offer for €6.90, which is advertised on the doorstep, is an absolute disgrace. You can choose from 3 types of cake (cheese, apple, cherry crumble), which admittedly comes out of the package. Information about allergens could only be provided after repeated requests. The coffee was only served well after the cake. The request that we wanted to pay took several attempts until the service person finally got to us and didn't forget it in between. Maybe recommended for main courses, but definitely not for coffee and cake.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The staff was very unfriendly and I also got the wrong food. When it finally came, the taste was unfortunately not convincing either. It's a real shame, I expected more.

Very good atmosphere. The establishment is beautiful. BUT, the food is just HORRIBLE. We ordered 4 different dishes and 2 drinks - and they were all absolutely disgusting! We were given desserts before the main courses, so when it came time to eat dessert, it already looked terrible. The carbonara simply floated in a liquid sauce that vaguely resembled bechamel. Bring out a fork and knife to go with the pasta; they didn’t even bring a spoon. The fries taste like they were made a week ago. There aren’t even napkins on the table; we had nothing to wipe our hands and lips with. We are absolutely dissatisfied and will never come to this establishment again!

Owner should hire more people. Don’t order „pfane“ a lot of oil.

The waitress was very unsympathetic at first, but improved over the course of the evening. The drinks were good. But the “French” onion soup has nothing to do with the actual soup. Not authentic at all. It tasted like almost nothing. The casserole was ok, the minced meat didn't taste good. The salad was dripping with dressing, which tasted very much like vinegar. The shop is called a “brasserie” but it isn’t. Finally, she also serves Indian, Italian, Mexican and German cuisine. I find that misleading. We cannot recommend the store.

The food is average overall, some dishes relatively good and some others completely indifferent and innocuous. Prefer the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fries as it was the most interesting dish.
