Great food. Friendly staff. Any recommendation.

The “coffee + cake” offer for €6.90, which is advertised on the doorstep, is an absolute disgrace. You can choose from 3 types of cake (cheese, apple, cherry crumble), which admittedly comes out of the package. Information about allergens could only be provided after repeated requests. The coffee was only served well after the cake. The request that we wanted to pay took several attempts until the service person finally got to us and didn't forget it in between. Maybe recommended for main courses, but definitely not for coffee and cake.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The staff was very unfriendly and I also got the wrong food. When it finally came, the taste was unfortunately not convincing either. It's a real shame, I expected more.

Very good atmosphere. The establishment is beautiful. BUT, the food is just HORRIBLE. We ordered 4 different dishes and 2 drinks - and they were all absolutely disgusting! We were given desserts before the main courses, so when it came time to eat dessert, it already looked terrible. The carbonara simply floated in a liquid sauce that vaguely resembled bechamel. Bring out a fork and knife to go with the pasta; they didn’t even bring a spoon. The fries taste like they were made a week ago. There aren’t even napkins on the table; we had nothing to wipe our hands and lips with. We are absolutely dissatisfied and will never come to this establishment again!

Owner should hire more people. Don’t order „pfane“ a lot of oil.

Nice restaurant with lots of delicious food and desserts. The employees were very friendly.

The waitress was very unsympathetic at first, but improved over the course of the evening. The drinks were good. But the “French” onion soup has nothing to do with the actual soup. Not authentic at all. It tasted like almost nothing. The casserole was ok, the minced meat didn't taste good. The salad was dripping with dressing, which tasted very much like vinegar. The shop is called a “brasserie” but it isn’t. Finally, she also serves Indian, Italian, Mexican and German cuisine. I find that misleading. We cannot recommend the store.

The staff doesn't even speak English, it's difficult to communicate, which is probably bad for a tourist area. The food is average overall, some dishes relatively good and some others completely indifferent and innocuous. Prefer the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fries as it was the most interesting dish.

Cozy, nice staff, large rooms, nicely furnished. We only had something to drink here, but the food at the neighboring tables was very good and the place was very busy, which speaks for itself. Certainly an address that we will consider again when we visit.

We were there for dinner yesterday. My starter was delicious and my main course (schnitzel with mozzarella gratin) was unfortunately small and not really that special. Furthermore, unfortunately I only got 8 fries... so I expected a little more for the price.

Ordered 4 dishes, received 3. One of them was missing a salad and only got it when we asked. Tortelloni would have taken 3 minutes longer, so we didn't ask for the 4th dish. Then we went to eat somewhere else. Service was ok… but a little more wouldn't be bad. Drinks were also forgotten and schnitzels were quite small.

Food was just bad except for the Cola Zero. Minced meat casserole only had 4 pieces of meat and the sauce was simply dispassionate.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The burger consisted entirely of ready-made products - from the sauce to the patty, nothing was homemade. The bread was stale, the fries were underdone, and the bartender didn't even know how to properly prepare an Alster. It is obvious that there is no one with a real passion for gastronomy working here, neither in the kitchen nor in the service. Given the high prices, this is absolutely unacceptable. Definitely not recommended.

We can rate the coffee. This one was very good! The ambience is fine and there is a changing mat.

Food average, service unfortunately extremely bad. Other guests had after 25 minutes. sometimes you didn't even get a card. The staff runs around mindlessly, which creates extreme unrest. Cutlery and drinks only came upon request after the food was already on the table. It wasn't full, it was hard to imagine what would happen when there was really something going on there.

Bad service, unfriendly and bitchy! We'll probably still be waiting for a Coke today. When we asked for the third time we got the answer: "I don't have time". After we asked for the bill, we were completely ignored. After over 20 minutes we left. Left money on the table. Of course without a tip.

We didn't eat anything, so we can't rate this one. We had very tasty cocktails and the waitresses were all very accommodating and very friendly. Gladly again.

Well, I've already eaten a few burgers but this one really isn't for me, the meat just tastes like Pettis from the supermarket. So for the price it's really not that tasty. Too bad. The condition is also very unfriendly.

Good place to grab a bite to eat. Margherita pizza is very tasty and highly recommended. Coworker had the chili burger and enjoyed the spice that it had. Staff are very nice. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

We came here after a long hike and it was definitely worth it :) good food and good portion sizes, while the prices are reasonable considering the location on the Hauptstraße. I can highly recommend.

I had dinner here last night. It looked nice and the young waitress was very nice and friendly. The food was ok, not very flavorful. But what was not acceptable to me at all was the impossibility of the “boss”. no idea where it is in her. but how can you treat guests like air and be so unfriendly. no look, no smile. the young girl was the reason I sat down, the older one was the reason I left quickly.

The service was extremely unprofessional. We were brought the wrong food twice and when we went to pay the bill was full of dishes we never ordered. The food was very weak and very dry. Our neighboring tables were also very disappointed. You were brought a salad without dressing, which you had to ask for twice and food was often brought to the wrong table. The waitresses themselves are very rude and unaccommodating. Very unfortunate and extremely disappointing.

We've been there several times and every time it's delicious. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful. The ambience makes the stay very comfortable. If I really had to find something to complain about, I would want mezzo, cola, etc. in glasses.

Such a wonderful experience. I don't have words to share. Everything was at top notch level . If you want to experience 5 star services with 2 star process . You must go. The food, ambience, cleaning, service everything was perfect. I would like to share one thing specifically for those who eat chicken pizza. This product they don't had in their menu but when they saw us sad they said we will make it you you. This is such a great thing is a street where many restaurants say at 22 uhr that our kitchen is closed but they not even accommodated us but also gave us such a great service and great food. Thank you guys Highly recommend. Will visit again to eat pasta this time.

Well all was so long even there were just few tables. We had one bier and one cocacola. Be careful cocacola costs almost 9eur. They charged for 3 cubes of ice and one 3mm half slice of lemon 4eur. Insane. Never go there!!!

Here you can enjoy cycling in a completely different way. Sat right next to the bar and was able to really learn something. Here you get 1/4 of Gut und Günstig mineral water in a 0.33 Gals bottle, which is then poured in with beer. I still thought that this woman couldn't be serious. Find the error. After complaining, a small bottle of fuel was opened and beer was filled here. Thanks to the understanding older gentleman who changed this without discussion.

A huge letdown when we went to pay. We drank beers and a snack. After 20 minutes I asked to pay with my debit card. Before she entered the amount, the waitress asked how much tip I wanted to give. How rude is this?!! I travel a lot and visit the poorest countries, but I 'almost' never experience this. I accidentally gave her a tip that I already had in my hand...I regret it afterwards😤

There were 4 of us and we loved it, it was really very good, the staff were super friendly and the service was fast. Very varied menu for all tastes. I highly recommend! We will come back! ;-)

Service is a disgrace. Portion was far too small, waitress takes it into the kitchen, comes back with a little more sauce and 3 more rocket leaves on it and asks quite arrogantly: it's much better, right? When we kindly pointed out our problem to the owner, he said that if we wanted normal-sized portions, we should go to the kebab shop. We followed his advice and he was right, it was much better. I can only recommend the same to everyone. Stay away from here and go to any other restaurant. The other dishes were also mediocre at best and far too expensive.

Schnitzel from the hairdresser, not freshly prepared. Salad with woody radishes and not cleaned properly. Plus dry rolls. Not recommendable!

The waitress who has 5 lb of lashes is rude. I’d avoid. Tons of better places to go to eat on this street and any other waiter/ess anywhere else I’ve interacted with has been nice beside here.

I have eaten in the brasserie with my girlfriend several times and will always go there again in the future. Until now we had always been able to get a table without a reservation and were served professionally. When we were in the restaurant for the first time and asked for a free table, we were confronted with a bad mood, but I didn't take it personally at all because everyone can have a bad day and the staff are usually very generous with them guests. We recommend the happy hour on the weekend, where cocktails are cheaper because the bartender does a good job. I highly recommend the Diplomatenschnitzel. The combination of two schnitzels with the different flavors of hunter's sauce with mushrooms and Dutch sauce with asparagus, with French fries and salad as a side dish is premium. The pizzas are nice and crispy and have plenty of toppings. There is a moderate selection for vegetarians, which is unfortunately mainly limited to pizzas and pasta dishes. Basically, you can't match the brasserie staff's generosity, but on my last visit I wasn't able to leave a tip because it was the end of the month. However, next time I will pay more for the service. Edit: For those who want something spicy, it's best to ask the waiter for spices. People who are already used to a lot of sharpness won't feel anything else.

This is a restaurant we entered by chance when we came to visit Heidelberg, but we liked it very much. If it was nearby we would come again and again. The waiters are very attentive. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Prices are a little high.

Ate a burger and an asparagus offer. Unfortunately, the burger meat was very dry and just didn't taste good. The bread was dry and too big for the rest of the burger. Unfortunately the fries weren't the best either. When it came to the schnitzel with asparagus, the schnitzel was okay, but the edge was overgrown and had to be cut away. Unfortunately, the asparagus was very woody and seemed cheap. You couldn't cut it with a knife. For other prices everything wouldn't have been good but acceptable. But with these high prices you can expect more. Unfortunately our plates weren't empty and a couple who sat down at the next table asked us how the food was, they had seen our plates. We were honest and even a woman on the other side of the couple who had been eating pasta overheard our conversation and confirmed that her food wasn't good either. The waitress obviously noticed this because the couple left the restaurant before ordering and was understandably upset afterwards. Of course she is not to blame for the bad food, but she should pass this on in the kitchen. Very unfortunate.

- It needs to be given a star rating. The service is very bad. There is a stupid girl who chews gum and does not listen. At the same time, even though we specifically stated that we do not eat pork, they brought pork food and they were incredibly ununderstanding and asked what we should do. Don't come calmly!!!!! At the same time, the most expensive meal we ate was 90 euros for 3 people.

There are many restaurants in the middle of the beautiful old town of Heidelberg. If you stay realistic and don't want to spend too much money, you've come to the right place. The portion of spaghetti with shrimp was not very big, but very tasty. The salad was fresh, the dressing was okay. Veggie and normal burgers also fine. Sweet potato fries always make me happy when they are on the menu. Tiramisu from the glass for dessert with espresso from the barista. For the price and the location, that's exactly what I expect. So, everything's great. Service was just being trained, but was very nice.

Our schnitzel could have been a little bigger... Unfortunately, not every ingredient is on the menu. When it comes to a gratinated schnitzel, I don't think it's necessarily a given that there are tomatoes in it. It was tasty but belongs on the menu. The fries were still partially raw on the inside but crispy on the outside - too short and too hot. With the caprese, at almost 10 euros, you could also offer a larger portion or fill the plate with green salad, but it's definitely not worth 10 euros. Conclusion wasn't necessarily bad but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Everything is pretty average here. Price performance doesn't quite match the portions and quality should be lowered with the price.

We were there for the first time today and can't recommend it. The food arrived after just 5 minutes and even before the drinks were brought. The portion of spaghetti with shrimp was a joke. The service staff was incompetent and couldn't speak any German at all. When we paid, we weren't given enough money back and when we asked if we could get a receipt for entertainment, it was glossed over as yes. In the end we didn't even receive a normal receipt. Apparently not possible because the cash register system would be so complicated. The kebab opposite would have been a better decision. Thank you for nothing!!!

Ambiance was good so far. The food was so-so. When you order a Gorganonzola sauce you expect that it also contains Gorgonzola and is not just a cream sauce from a bag. Unfortunately the service was extremely bad. When taking the order you were extremely impatient and in a bad mood. In addition, the operations were extremely uncoordinated. There was no agreement at all about which server was responsible for which table, which led to numerous confusions.

Relaxed atmosphere on the main street in Heidelberg. And above all, acceptable prices with really good pizza and attentive service 🙃

[Recommended for tourists] A stylish cafeteria restaurant with a nice atmosphere facing the main thoroughfare. The store is clean and the staff's service is good. The food is delicious and plentiful. It was about 20€ per person for pasta and a drink. *The restrooms are clean, so if you are a tourist looking for a restroom, we recommend eating here.

The service was friendly and tried to fix what went wrong in the kitchen. The young girl is the least able to do anything about it. Ok when I ordered I had a chilli cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Normal fries came that didn't taste like anything. The sweet potato fries that I ended up with were burnt. The burger is better in every McDonald's even though I haven't gone there for 10 years. And as an American, I know what it means to eat good burgers. My pineapple juice tasted like it came from a pineapple can. Price performance sorry underground, probably normal in Germany. In any other country where people have more taste, the store would go bankrupt in 4 weeks.
