The food is delicious. The service is unfortunately slow, and at times quite forgetful. The ambiance is dated. However, there are seats available in the evenings (Sundays).

Great value for money, very tasty and filling!

I've been here several times now and tried a variety of different dishes, and they were always delicious. Combined with the cozy atmosphere, the prices are super fair!

I've been there twice and have been very satisfied so far. The service is good, you get your food quickly, and it's delicious. The cocktails there are also very good. You can sit inside or outside and have a good selection. I also think the prices are very fair. It's worth trying this restaurant and going there for something to eat or drink.

We were in beautiful Marburg today, and for a bite to eat, we went to this fantastic restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks or our food. The food was excellent. The restaurant's location is very central, but fortunately not in the middle of everything. You can sit outside in peace and quiet without feeling claustrophobic. If we're ever in Marburg again, we'll definitely be back. :)

You find the Brasserie Marburg in the oldtown / Oberstadt of Marburg. The place looks very nite. Since the size of the Brasserie stretches really out (outside) we were surprised how quickly and friendly we got served. On the menue they do offer cheesecake. Since the photos show it with strawberry topping we did all expect this, but it was not only just a tiny piece of cheesecake it was also without the strawberries. Photo showed actually a cheesecake (tart) and we got a tiny cutted flat cheesecake with some whipped cream beside. I think they just put it not to make look the piece of cheesecake not so small. Taste was ok, but not what we did expect. Another thing I did order cider from the Odenwald region and got a glass of Possmann cider from Frankfurt instead. Service staff just should have told us.

Late lunch - cheeseburgers and a beer/soda. Great food, super service, quiet and nice stay for a meal. Should have taken my camera with to the wc, that's some dungeonesque theme!

Unfortunately, we waited almost an hour for our food today. We've never waited that long before. It takes away your appetite. Otherwise, the waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The owner just needs to invest more in staff so that you don't have to wait longer than 30 minutes.

The food was very good. I had the herb schnitzel, which was served with generous sauce and fresh mushrooms. It came with a crisp side salad. The fries were also exactly to my taste. Neither wobbly nor extremely hard.

An hour's drive, soggy, half-raw, greasy fries. The fryer wasn't hot, or the fries weren't in there long enough. Burgers (Cheese and Brasserie) tasted great, but the meat (sorry) was bone dry. After at least our 1.5 portions of fries were returned, the only offer was more fries. 😂 The service was friendly, but the price was way too high for the quality. 40 bucks for two half-meals is pretty disappointing.

I had a shrimp casserole with potatoes. It contained three shrimp with hard potato slices and a tomato sauce that tasted awful. I wanted to season it all with salt and pepper, but unfortunately, there was a dead ant in the shaker 😳. A trip to the bathroom rounded it all off, so I'll never go back. 🤢 Service was friendly, though 👍

The start looked pretty good in this store. But unfortunately the toilets are absolutely unkempt. There is a strong smell of urine in the women's toilet, jewelry everywhere and clearly not washed up for a long time. One toilet was so dirty that you couldn't use it and the other one actually didn't have a door that could be closed. Extremely unpleasant. At least there was soap... The food was far too expensive for the fact that there was very little and the taste was rather neutral.

Located somewhat out of the way in Marburg's old town, comfortably furnished. The menu offers a huge selection of all kinds of dishes. The service was quick and friendly, the food exceeded our expectations, everything was very tasty and plentiful and relatively inexpensive. We'll be back the next time we visit Marburg

Was there for the second time and it was always a very warm welcome, even if it was packed, a place was found and a fresh, very good and rich menu was quickly served (everything from pizza to pasta, vegetarian schnitzel) for a thousand Thanks but the hygiene in the toilet needs some attention. We would still love to come back.

Yesterday afternoon October 12th. Ordered a Pott Cafe and cappuccino there along with 2 teas. The cafe and cappuccino were some of the worst things we have ever been served, watery and without any taste. Hope that was an exception. We specifically looked for an Italian-run café because they know how to brew coffee. Unfortunately disappointing here. We had also ordered some hot love (ice cream), but it didn't come at all. Clearly not recommended.

Super friendly staff. Diplomat Schnitzel was super tasty. Ordered homemade lemonade and it was very refreshing. I didn't have to wait long for my order. There was enough space outside and inside. Even the dogs get water to drink.

A friendly restaurant! We were here with almost 50 people. The team here is very friendly, the owner introduced himself beforehand and we were also able to get to know the waitresses and waiters. I am almost completely satisfied. However, the high number of guests probably led to complex processes in the kitchen. In any case, the burger we ordered took a long time, maybe 25 minutes. But still 5 stars, that couldn't dampen the mood. In addition, the service was always accommodating and the food was very tasty. Thank you very much!

Great little location right downtown, with super friendly staff and a wide menu. Everybody in our group of 50 had a great time and the restaurant was well prepared for us. Everyone I heard from told me their food had been great-- and the portion sizes very generous! Love to come back here some time. Thank you for the experience!

We were guests with a very large group and were well looked after by the friendly team. The food was good and the portions were generous. The Brittany salad is highly recommended.

We ate here as a couple with a large group at the weekend (pizza + nachos) and had a magical evening. We felt very comfortable there, were greeted personally and ate and drank deliciously (non-alcoholic drinks). The others' cocktails (happy hour from 6 p.m.) also looked very tasty. Went there twice in the evening for a nightcap and dessert while we were in Marburg for a short vacation. Can only be recommended, the cocktails were very good and the chocolate mousse was really to die for.

Irritiert waren wir gleich, als das Essen gebracht wurde: 2 ovale Scheiben, etwa 7 mm hoch. Sollte das eine gegrillte Hähnchenbrust sein? Dann der Biss: Nein eindeutig kein faseriges Muskelfleisch und auch der Geschmack! Noch einmal ohne die dicke Conveniance-Soße mit teilweise undefinierbarem Pfifferlingschleim: Nein, gegrillte Hähnchenbrust ist das nicht. Auf meine Frage nach dem Fleisch lief der Kellner zum Koch und brachte mir eine rohe Hähnchenbrust. Welche Gäste die wohl bekommen? Und dann kamen mehrere kreative Erklärungen zu Form, Dicke und Konsistenz. Kurzum, nicht empfehlenswert!

Ordered a beer and cheeseburger with fries. I like cold beer at least refrigerator temp. The cheeseburger was in served in paper. The burger bun and paper were wet and soggy. The burger didn't didn't have a taste. Steak fries was served hot. The server was attentive and courteous. Will return again. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Ich war allein in dieser Brasserie, ein gemütlicher Ort, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.. Ich habe Nudeln mit Garnelen bestellt, wirklich sehr gut... Ich empfehle jedem, vorbeizuschauen, wenn Sie zufällig nach Marburg kommen..ich war zufrieden.

Employees just stand there and I would describe friendliness differently, I've experienced it much better here. Although there was nothing to do, every table was dirty, including some of the chairs. It's a shame, try harder, we actually like coming here.

We spontaneously got a table on Saturday evening and were able to order food. Drinks were brought a little late, it was clear that there were three people running the place at our time. Maybe this also explained the lousy toilets. Very disgusting. That's a reason for me not to go there anymore. Food tasted okay, it wasn't anything special for me. The service can be expanded. We kindly asked about the toilets, as toilet paper and soap were also missing. The only answer from the first lady was that it wasn't her problem, she wasn't allowed to clean it. The gentleman we told afterwards took us very seriously and let the boss know. He then took care of it.

Were there for the breakfast buffet today. Everything was very tasty and presented with love. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables (antipasti), a sufficient selection of sausage and cheese, egg dishes, salads, muesli, pancakes, juices, coffee and tea including a small selection of bread and only one type of roll but that's complaining at a high level. Staff very friendly, own parking space in the yard and a charging station for electric cars. Price performance is perfect 👍.

We were here with five people and two small dogs. Reservation by telephone of the desired table went great. Service was nice, friendly and attentive. Ambience very nice. I think the chef keeps changing because we knew we found the taste we were looking for here, but now that has changed and the quality of the food is no longer the same.

Wir waren am Samstag mit 4 Personen da. Leckeres und reichliches Essen zum guten Kurs. Vom Empfang bis zur Bedienung freundliches und Service orientiertes Personal. Was will man mehr... Empfehlung.

Mit Abstand das beste Essen in ganz Marburg und die Angestellten sind maximal sympathisch! :)

Sehr netter Service, schnell und gutes Essen. Wir hatten einen Curry-Auflauf und die Pizza "Marburg" und waren sehr zufrieden. Empfehlenswert, wer mal etwas anderes möchte. Der Auflauf war sehr groß und kam heiß an den Tisch, die Pizza war vom Teig her sehr aromatisch und nicht 0-8-15. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Waren gestern mit paar Mädels dort essen . Hatten Schnitzel gegessen allen dreien geht es heute sehr schlecht mit Brechen und so weiter und die Freundin die den Wrap hatte ist gesund. Die soßen zum Schnitzel waren noch dazu sehr sehr versalzen gewesen. Essen wirklich nicht gut aber die Bedienung war nett

Das Restaurant war fantastisch! Der Service war schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Lachsauflauf und der Crepe waren köstlich. Die Cocktails, besonders der Mojito, waren lecker. Die Terrasse hatte eine tolle Urlaubsatmosphäre. Das Beste daran ist, dass das Restaurant im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants auch noch günstig ist! Alles in allem hatten wir einen großartigen Abend im Restaurant.

Heerlijk gegeten met de hele familie eten was goed en lekker, snel op tafel en ook de sfeer was goed. Het personeel was ook goed en leuke uitstraling. Restaurant had een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Kortom de sterren keurig verdiend. En mijn broertje vond het nog een schöne bedienung😏🤌😍✔️

Sehr leckeres und schönes Restaurant. Die Bedienung wusste jedoch nicht richtig ab wann man mit Karte zahlen kann, aber das war nicht schlimm. Komme gerne wieder.

Wir hatten überbackene Schinkennudeln und Nudeln mit Pfifferlingsoße, beides hervorragend. Es ist auch innen ein sehr ansprechendes Restaurant und die Preise hier sind für Marburg unschlagbar! 5/5 Sterne ^^ wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben als Paar zu Mittag gegessen. Wir haben das Schnitzel Wiener Art und eine Pizza Marburg bestellt. Der Kellner hat uns nett darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass die Pizza als Mittagsmenü zusammen mit einem Beilagensalat sogar noch zu einem günstigeren Preis angeboten wird. Das haben wir sehr gerne angenommen. Die Salate waren frisch und abwechslungsreich. Die Pizza mit dem Brokkoli und der Sauce sehr gut, ebenso das Schnitzel mit den Pommes. Die Getränke wurden in passenden Gläsern und gut gekühlt serviert. Mein Cola Zero kam mit Eis. Alles ging sehr flott. Anschließend haben wir noch zwei Espresso getrunken. Auch die waren sehr sehr gut. Als wir die Rechnung bekamen, waren wir überrascht, dass alles zusammen soo preiswert war! Großes Lob an das Personal und an die Küche. Perfekt und sehr zu empfehlen!!

Man kann hier sehr gut Essen. Es gibt Schnitzel, Pizza oder auch Mexikanische. Ab 18:00 Uhr kosten einige Cocktails nur 5€. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Service freundlich und draußen auf dem Schuhmarkt kann mensch super sitzen. Komme gern mal wieder.

Nach 45 Min. Wartezeit kam statt einer Pizza mit Salami, Pilzen, Schinken etc. eine dünne Pizza mit ein paar überbackenen Tomatenscheiben und künstlichem Käse. Sowas muss dem Kellner doch auffallen. Der hat sich das gar nicht angesehen und sagte lapidar "dann bringe ich halt eine neue Pizza". Darauf habe ich dann gerne verzichtet!!! Nie wieder.

Sehr guter Service,sehr gutes Essen, Qualität der lendchen hervorragend, huessin und Hassan sowie die sehr freundliche Bedienung aus Ungarn, alles bestens.

Das Lokal bietet eine vielfältige Speisekarte an was jeder aus meiner Familie angesprochen hat. Essen war gut und kam schnell an. Die Leute im Service waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ich war öfters schon hier und wurde bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Die Pfännchen, Die Schnitzel oder auch die Burger alles sehr lecker und empfehlenswert.

Viel zu lange Wartezeiten und mangelhafter geschmack!Man dürfte extrem lange auf sein Essen warten und daraufhin hat es nicht einmal geschmeckt.zum Beispiel man bestellt ein Creppe mit Erdbeeren und man bekommt pfanneckuchen mit tiefkühlfrüchten!

Wir haben das Resaurant mehrmals ausprobiert, das Essen schmeckt nicht, ist in Sahne ertränkt und der Geruch der Küche nach altem Fett ist einfach ekelig. Die Toiletten Unsauber, das Guinnes nicht wie angegeben vom Fass, sondern aus der Flasche angeblich aus Kostengründen. Wir waren 3 mal dort, weil wir dachten, vielleicht war ja nur die Pizza nicht gut, beim zweiten Mal war der Auflauf nicht gut und beim 3.Mal die Pfannengerichte ein Reinfall. Das Personal war je nachdem wer da war von super lieb und aufmerksam bis hin zu gelangweilt, desinteressiert am Kunden und verpeilt. Schade.

Nicht nur die Toiletten sind die schäbigsten und schmutzigsten die ich in Marburg je gesehen habe, sondern auch die Cocktails die sie in einem Plastik-Glas kredenzen sind die schäbigsten in der ganzen Stadt. Zudem wird man vom Kellner nicht einmal angeschaut geschweige denn angelächelt und auch das übrige, düstere Publikum lässt das Unwohlsein stetig wachsen... Einmal und nicht mehr wieder !!!
