Boujee in Berlin

We had a wonderful evening with excellent food and a great atmosphere! Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Our dinner at Boujee could be described in one phrase: a true “taste celebration.” We ordered several vegetarian dishes to share, along with Uzbek plov for the non-vegetarians. The warm aubergine salad was a standout! We’d never tried a combination of avocado, aubergine, tomatoes, and fresh onions before. The aubergines were perfectly cooked: soft inside, crispy on the outside, and complemented by a delicious dressing. The khachapuri with suluguni cheese and egg was melt-in-your-mouth good, the dough was spot-on. The vegetarian rice was another highlight. It came beautifully presented with a raw egg resting on a fluffy bed of rice, accompanied by chopped onions, tomatoes, and butter. Once mixed together, it tasted even better than we expected pure comfort food. For dessert, we tried the Napoleon and honey cakes, which were both good, but the cottage cheese pancakes were truly the star absolutely top of the top. I’d also like to compliment the presentation of each dish, served with such care and attention to detail. The chef personally came around to ask guests if they enjoyed their meals, which really showed how seriously they take their craft.

Maybe I was just unlucky, but unfortunately, I've never experienced anything this bad. First, looking at the menu, you immediately notice that the prices are extremely high, so you expect something in return. I ordered drinks first: a bottle of water and a couple of cocktails, all right, and then we started. Completely unprepared... they didn't have any rum, nor did they have any tonic, and the water bottle was completely forgotten even though the place was practically empty 🤯 After that, I ordered three starters, one of which arrived (with the wrong filling, but I didn't understand what it was at first). After that, my boyfriend's main course arrived even though the starters weren't even there 😂 The waitress spoke very unclear German, which led to a misunderstanding. After a long time, I put down a salad and the water bottle. However, the main course still didn't have any cutlery, and the staff looked very annoyed and dissatisfied. No one apologized for this horror; worse, the waitress was actually really annoyed that anyone had even said anything. With a knot in our stomachs, we ate a bit of the not-so-special meal for €117 and left very disappointed. A waiter even said one dish was on the house, but the waitress just charged me anyway. So if you want to waste money and like disrespectful customer service, then go to Boujee 😂 I had to make a stop at Subway.

I ordered the food. The food itself is very good, but for almost 70 euros (after the discount, originally 90 euros), the quantity was ridiculous. I ordered 5 dishes, and there weren't enough for 2 adults and 2 children. It's unbelievable how greedy people can be. No more discussion.

Amazing food, service was okay. Forgot tap water, didn’t offer a second drink, was a sole diner so unsure if this made a difference in the level of service. Foood is incredible though.

Everything is very cool! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is always top notch. I would like to separately note the warm salad with eggplants 🫶🏼 Simply divine taste 😍 And, of course, khinkali. We celebrate all our holidays here and are delighted every time 🫶🏼

I ordered Uzbeki Pilaw and Samsa at Boujee, and I was extremely disappointed. Given the high prices, I expected authentic and high-quality food, but what I got was the opposite. The Samsa cost €10 and was cold inside, while the Pilaw was €18 and clearly just reheated. The meat was tough and tasted old. Nothing about the food was authentic Uzbek cuisine — I know this because I am from the region myself. On my way to the restroom, I also noticed that the staff looked Russian/European, which only confirmed my suspicion that this place has nothing to do with Uzbekistan. This place is a scam and an insult to Uzbek food. Do not waste your money here.

The food we ordered tasted frozen and reheated. The only good thing was the salad that came with the Plow and the complimentary cucumber pickle. Prices are incredibly high for what's served.

The entire service team is warm, attentive, and always in a good mood – you immediately notice that hospitality is a top priority here. The wine list also deserves a special mention: an excellent selection for every budget, satisfying both connoisseurs and casual gourmets. My conclusion: This restaurant is an absolute must-visit! A perfect blend of ambiance, hospitality, cuisine, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Our group of five ordered various starters and main courses – every single dish was freshly prepared, delicious, and perfectly balanced. The large selection of excellent wines, which perfectly complement the dishes, deserves special mention. The ambiance is very beautiful, stylishly decorated, and accompanied by soft music – just the right atmosphere for a peaceful meal. The service was attentive, friendly, and extremely prompt – we felt completely at home. This restaurant combines quality, variety, and hospitality at the highest level. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

A wonderful restaurant where everyone gets their money's worth! Brilliant service Food on an out-of-this-world level. There was practically nothing that wasn't extremely delicious. The marinated gherkins, rack of lamb, Napoleon cake, and plov are especially recommended.

An excellent restaurant where everyone will find something they like. The meat is of an extremely high standard. All the ingredients are so fresh and delicious. The cakes are simply everything. The marinated gherkins in particular are a game changer. Also, an extremely good rack of lamb. It was a true feast. The service was 10 out of 10. The food was 10 out of 10.

I went there with my boyfriend yesterday, and it's truly the worst restaurant I've been to in a long time! Extremely overpriced, incredibly small portions, and horrible service. We had a salmon tartare starter (€29), which was quite tasty and nicely presented—although it was presented carelessly, and no bread was served with it. Then my boyfriend had the rack of lamb for €39, which was admittedly okay—but for the price, it could have been better. I had a so-called "spring salad." It was by far the worst salad I've ever eaten. For €15, I got a few limp and extremely salty lettuce leaves with a few cubes of feta (made from cow's milk, the cheap kind 😅), lemon juice, and a few pomegranate seeds. For €15, I think that's a disgrace! We paid €93 and were truly incredibly disappointed!

The restaurant offers dishes from Uzbek and Georgian cuisine. I lived in Georgia for a year and in Uzbekistan for over six years. The food we ordered has little, if anything, to do with authentic Georgian and Uzbek dishes. The ingredients aren’t of good quality. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. The prices are exorbitant.

Ladies and Gentlemen First of all, I would like to warmly greet you. I would like to leave a review of your restaurant and share my opinion - unfortunately with regret. On May 11, 2025, I visited your restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. When making the reservation, I specifically asked for a warm welcome as it was a special occasion. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I had made a reservation for five people, but only a table was prepared for four people. The table itself was very simple and not at all appropriate to the occasion. We were willing to pay for everything, but the service was still very disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and didn't seem to have had good training in dealing with guests. We also had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food. The dishes were not served at the same time but one at a time, which was very inconvenient. Even though we are in Berlin, Germany, the staff could barely speak German - we felt like we were forced to communicate in Russian. The atmosphere and the service didn't convince me at all. What I have to say honestly is that the food was very tasty. But unfortunately, people don't just come to restaurants to eat - they also come to relax and have a good time. I was visiting here with friends. Let's start with the positive: The food was really delicious, almost all dishes were excellently prepared. The negative: The service was catastrophic, both from the "service person" who served us (unemphasized, speaks no German and only very broken English, can't be friendly, let alone smile) and from the owner, who was obviously completely self-absorbed. The arrogance and dismissiveness he displayed is unparalleled. Derogatory comments and degradation of guests who don't like him seem normal here. This can also be seen from the reactions to other negative reviews. The food didn't come together but was completely chopped up. First a main course, ten minutes later two starters, another 10 minutes a starter and a main course and another 40 minutes later the remaining two main courses. There were hardly any guests in the restaurant - so how is that possible? Especially since we asked!!! were told to order instead of talking (yes, in that wording!) because "so many guests would be coming." That was never the case, there were an average of three tables occupied, five at the "wedding". The owner also has his dog with him - extremely questionable in a restaurant when you don't know whether there are guests with allergies or fear of dogs. And the dog's barking penetrates very unpleasantly through marrow and bone. If you could order food for delivery here, I would recommend it. However, since you have to go through the “service” on site, I can only advise against a visit.

It's very tasty! Top eggplant salad, the same as I loved before moving to Berlin. Beef Stroganoff is wonderful, pilaf is not my thing, but others come just for it. The place is beautiful, decent, and not as usual in Berlin they like wobbly tables. The staff are darling, very nice and polite. I'm happy! I’ll go and try the whole menu little by little) and then take my favorite 🥰😋

I work next to the establishment and with great pleasure order food from them, the staff is always polite, if you have questions they will call you back and clarify, everything is always delivered quickly and the food is very tasty.

I would like to share my experience of visiting this restaurant. I was there a week ago and just woke up emotionally. Let me start with the fact that I was a frequent guest of this establishment, I even celebrated my mother’s birthday there. Not even a foot! The owner of the establishment is rude. The kitchen has relaxed compared to even last year. It's a pity, because there were good prospects. Special thanks to the waiters, they enhance the overall atmosphere.

Absolutely miserable. I had chicken on a skewer with fried potatoes. The chef recommended it, saying it was very good. 🤣The portion was very small, so I left hungry. The chicken was dry as the Sahara and bland. The potatoes were okay. The music was Western pop music, too loud, and had nothing to do with Central Asia. My prediction: they'll go bankrupt soon.

Service was extremely slow: drinks came one after the other and food was not served at the same time. While some at the table already received their dishes, others still had to wait, which meant that eating together was not possible. My own food was even cold when we were finally able to start eating together. Additionally, an advertised specialty was not available when ordering, which was also disappointing. The food was tasty, but due to the poor organization and lack of timing, you couldn't really enjoy it. You would expect a lot more from a restaurant in this price range. Unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience.

Food, and especially the rice, was not cooked properly but was grainy. The owner sitting down with you really puts you in a bad mood. A guest also left the restaurant angry. Too expensive for the poor service. In addition, the portions were really very small.

A perfect Italian evening with wonderful food, good wine and lots and lots of warmth ❤️ Italian means: eating from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. (all dishes are freshly prepared, which takes time). It was perfect for us, but you should prepare for it and bring a lot (!) of time. For the first hunger we had toasted baguette with marinated cucumbers (great!), for starters we had salmon carpaccio and grilled octopus (divine!), and for the main course we had extremely sophisticated pasta. For dessert, chocolate cakes with ice cream. We were served by the boss himself, and when we said goodbye there were family photos from him and a (serious) promise from us to come back.

I highly recommend this restaurant, it is faultless both in terms of service and food (incredible beef stroganoff) 👏

The prices are highly inflated; the vegan pilaf costs as much as the meat one, but it only contains rice and onions. The food is ordinary. The dishes are served to people at different times. The atmosphere is beautiful, and everything is neat.

The best food-price quality so far in Berlin. Also there’s an atmosphere of a real-restaurant (never before seen anywhere in Berlin). The Plov was just excellent, I highly recommend it. Tcheburek was super tasty, the dough was very thin and tender also a lot of meat inside. Manty were the best I’ve ever tried. Perfect Uzbek cuisine! Very very fresh. Great dishes, variety. Service and the owner very friendly and considerate. The food was consistently extremely tasty.

We would like to share our extremely unpleasant experience at this restaurant. When we arrived we were informed in advance that we would have to wait about 30 minutes for our food. We accepted this with understanding and were willing to wait. However, we ended up waiting for more than an hour — 70 minutes to be exact. When we asked why it was taking so long, the boss came to us personally. To our amazement, he didn't apologize for the delay, but said he wouldn't "bow down to us" and that we could leave if we didn't like it. Such behavior towards customers simply shocked us! We wanted to have a pleasant evening here, but instead we were met with complete disrespect and rudeness. It is very unfortunate that a restaurant where one expects quality service would allow such behavior, especially from the boss.

I've been there many times with my family, but this time it was terrible. Never again!!! The boss was very unfriendly and we waited 1.5 hours for a salad. He said if we don't like it, we can leave but don't be annoying. (I described it nicely here).

I recently was at Boujee and had a rather mixed experience. The cold borscht was actually quite good, but I felt the price wasn’t justified. The cheburek, on the other hand, was disappointing. It was served drenched in oil, as if it had been taken straight from the fryer and dumped onto the plate without draining. What really made the visit unpleasant, though, was the atmosphere in the kitchen. Throughout our meal, the chef could be heard loudly yelling at the waitstaff, which was incredibly unprofessional and made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Overall, the food had some potential, but the experience was marred by poor execution and a disruptive environment. I won't be rushing back.

My second time here. Very tasty and fresh food, great service. I love Central Asian food. Almost only Russian speakers here, I highly recommend to everyone else to try this place as well :-)

It gives the impression that the restaurant doesn't know what concept to follow; the menu includes Uzbek, Georgian, Russian, Ukrainian and Italian dishes. The service is extremely in need of improvement, the salad was served almost 20 minutes after the main course, the plow was presented carelessly, the small salad directly on the rice and not next to it. The rotation and order of the dishes served is chaotic, 1 person gets their food, the others wait 10 minutes longer for their order. The food doesn't taste bad, but the portion is very small. All in all - not recommended, there are better alternatives.

Guests who were eating and further orders had just arrived were almost verbally driven out because there was a lack of clarity with the reservations. In addition, the food names (Khachapuri, Megruli, Adjaruli) are spelled incorrectly (see photo). You just have to put in a little effort and just google the names.

Thanks to the cooks and the waiter. They are great. The owner of the establishment is rude and boorish! Spoiled our mood and had to leave! The prices do not correspond to the establishment! It’s hard to call it a restaurant!

My answer: No, and never again. This review is based solely on my personal experience. If you want to eat delicious food and be professionally served, then welcome. But also be prepared that you will be discriminated against and humiliated by the owner of this restaurant. The first thing you sell to guests is not a dish, but respect!

Его комментарии и вопросы к нам носили откровенно уничижительный характер, особенно по отношению к нашей национальности. Мы приехали издалека и ожидали приятного обеда, но встреча с владельцем заставила нас покинуть заведение раньше времени, даже не доев наше первое блюдо, а нас ждало еще второе и третье блюдо. Мой ответ: Нет, и никогда больше. Данный отзыв несет исключительно мой личный опыт. Если вы хотите вкусно поесть и быть профессионально обслуженным, то добро пожаловать. Но также будьте готовы, что вы будете дискриминированными и униженными владельцем данного ресторана. Первое, что вы продаете гостям, это не блюдо, а уважение.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't special either, especially the price-performance ratio wasn't right here. We had Stroganov, which served in a small bowl for €22 and was a very manageable size. The most disappointing thing was the vegetable salad, which turned out to be a small bowl of tomato and cucumber salad with radishes and, for €15, was bordering on a cheek. The lamb plov was also ok, but a far cry from the promotional video on Instagram. You almost had to look for the pieces of lamb. It was nice, but nothing more. Communication with the ladies from the service is hardly possible. The shop is really very stylishly decorated. But unfortunately that's not enough. I wouldn't come back.

Portion size is way too small, even for a smaller kid. Over salty, and dry, meat is cooked too long, and the uzbak polav is mainly rice, almost no meat nor onions. Pricing is high, especially for the fact you get mainly rice or bread. Disappointed would be a compliment, i wish they would change those topics, as service was great, and the atmosphere was also nice
