Blondies in Bochum

Great!! Visited Blondies for the first time under new ownership and we had a lovely evening. We had a vegan taxi plate and a vegan burger, plus nachos with NoCheese sauce. Everything was delicious and the service staff were very, very nice, great!! The ambience has become more modern, cozier and more stylish, I think. The menu appeals to me more now than before. I think the addition of Thai dishes is great and the wine selection has also improved. The prices are attractive and affordable. My burger cost 14.50 euros, was very tasty and filled me up. I will definitely be back.

We were there today for the first time since the reopening and are thrilled. We will definitely come back again. Everything is just right here. We had the cheeseburger with meat and the vegetarian Zickenburger as well as fries, everything tasted great. The selection of drinks is also great (fair, regional, sustainable, etc.).

I was surprised at how delicious the vegan gyros were. It takes a bit of getting used to for me, but I recommend it! Drinks and food are all OK and the prices are reasonable. Service friendly and accommodating

Friday evening, everyone is hungry at rush hour and we had the best burger experience of our lives. The burgers were super tasty. The service was great, despite the waiting time we felt seen and looked after the whole time. We'll definitely be back and if you're in the mood for vegan burgers, definitely stop by here

Greatest food ever: beautiful, vegan and delicious! The renovation was also well done and the songs in the background aren't that annoying either. The only thing that bothered me was that the staff asked EVERY 5 MINUTES if everything was OK and everything tasted good. You can't answer well with your mouth full. I understand that the team is still new but that was a bit annoying

The food doesn't taste as good to me anymore, it's no longer organic quality, but it's still more expensive than in the "first" Blondies. It's a shame how things turned out. We won't go there anymore.

There were three of us there yesterday. We had three great dishes, all of which were convincing in terms of taste. Also full marks for all employees. Super friendly, not intrusive and charming. Respect for the renovation. It looks great on you. We wish you lots of success for the future. Stay true to yourself!

Newly designed, modern and always very good

Delicious vegan food, good drinks and great service. Prices are steep, but the burgers were also very good. The burgers come with a selection of different patties. The fries came with very good vegan truffle mayo. It would definitely be worth a visit.

As a regular at the "old" Blondies, I was extremely critical as to whether I liked the new, slightly different concept, and I was very positively surprised! The furnishings and the lighting concept are very successful and appealing, it is individual and yet cozy - of course it is no comparison to the very unique style of the former Blondies, but it has its very own charm. The food was really excellent and to the point (new, very tasty burger rolls, fresh and richly topped) and the service was also extremely friendly and very personable. I will definitely continue to be a regular at Blondies. :)

Very nice restaurant with delicious dishes. Lots of vegetarian/vegan selection, including real meat if desired. Overall everything was great, but the only thing that bothered me was the fact that there was no cow's milk for the coffee. That would be the missing plus point.

Since the change of ownership, Blondie's has unfortunately lost charm and character. The alternative living room atmosphere has given way to a clean, run-of-the-mill restaurant. There are two Thai dishes on the menu that don't really fit into the "burger restaurant" concept. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and, fortunately, the burgers were mostly taken from the old menu.

We were there when it opened and we really liked it. We all really enjoyed the mainly vegetarian/vegan food! The service was also very good, although there weren't that many people there. We wish the team that the new concept gets off to a good start and we look forward to coming back soon.

Roses are red, you can get bread at the bakery, this burger is super cool and delicious!

The store has now reopened under new management and it looks really classy - just the look with the new logo! The interior is still relatively dark, but the new owner assured us that this will be taken care of promptly. The main focus is on vegan/vegetarian cuisine - for people who don't want to give up meat, there are also meat patties for the burgers. Coming to the burger: I had a cheeseburger with the oat patty, easily a 10/10! Service was also excellent, very attentive and friendly. Since it was the first day, it wasn't that crowded - the Blondies team hopes that changes quickly :-)

Very nice service! Food was good and came quickly.

The food was ok, nothing special. The kitchen works incredibly slowly. Waited over an hour. But the portion sizes are an absolute disaster. I felt really ripped off. At €19 for the grill plate, I expect at least twice as much as what was ultimately on it and I'm absolutely not one to eat huge portions. You can charge a maximum of €12 for the quantity and that is the uncomfortable pain threshold. Never again, really. Absolute disappointment. And the waitress's fuss when the tip was "only €6" was the crowning glory, because the service was hardly there and the table was sticky.

Blondies, I love you! You are always worth a visit. Because here there is great vegan food, a good selection of beer and very tasty cocktails. The service and atmosphere are also great, just a great shop.

A great shop with a large vegan selection. The gyro plate is particularly worth recommending! But the rustic atmosphere at Blondie's invites you not only to eat, but also to drink. There are also various delicious cocktails, such as a Pina Colada, also in a vegan version.

The store was highly recommended by a friend who was there about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, she was just as disappointed as we were. It was okay, but definitely not THE store. Service was really not that appreciative (the waiter had to finish private conversations first, it took a while until the order was placed) and the food was just okay. The coleslaw was the best - had burgers and fries (McCain for sure). I wish everyone else who likes it bon appetit - for me it was probably the first and last visit. I'll do better at home :) (They weren't exactly friendly on the phone when making reservations.) & back then there was also the option of ordering beef, unfortunately now only vegan/vegetarian. In addition, unfortunately VERY loud, even though there were only 4 small groups there... you could hear every eating noise from the neighboring table and it was just unfortunately uncomfortable. And cold! Unfortunately, I don't understand the "hype" at all. A pity!

Delicious food and lovely service!

The food was quite tasty, but unfortunately cold. It took 50 minutes for our three dishes to be ready, but apart from us there were only 20 other guests in the restaurant. A conversation was only possible with a loud voice, as it was unfortunately loud around us and the acoustics are quite bad. Maybe I'll give the restaurants another chance and be pleasantly surprised.

There were four of us here and we ate our way through the vegan delicacies 😁 everything was great!!!!!!!! It was a bit too loud for me, but my three companions didn't think it was that way. I'll be back as soon as the outdoor area is open. My companion will definitely come much earlier. You are super class

A constant destination for years. You should always reserve a table (which makes me happy because it proves how good it is). No matter what I've had so far - I've always enjoyed the food, drink and service. The seats at the back/outside are awesome. Sitting there in summer - unbeatable! A permanent fixture in Bochum and important that you exist!

Best burgers in Bochum. This also applies to the normal (organic beef) burgers, although many people are probably familiar with the shop because of its vegetarian and vegan burgers... All in a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

The food, vegan gyro plate ordered, was very good. Service was okay too. The place would have been very cozy if it hadn't been so cold. All guests were freezing.

Kreative und leckere Saucen und überzeugender Fleischersatz, sowohl bei den Vorspeisen als auch den Hauptgerichten. Allerdings wartet man auf sein Essen teilweise etwas länger. Trotzdem immer super lecker und freundlicher Service!

Es hat uns richtig gut gefallen, die vegane Currywurst war richtig lecker. Die 70er Jahre Musik in einer tollen Ambiente hat uns in unsere Jugendzeit zurück versetzen lassen. Ein richtig schöner Abend.

Das Essen und der Service sind wirklich top! Im Winter je nach Sitzplatz etwas kalt :D aber immer einen Besuch wert!

Eine Kette ist eben nur so stark wie ihr schwächstes Glied... ...und das schwächste Glied ist im Blondies meiner dreimaligen Erfahrung nach der Umgang mit den Gästen. Freundlichkeit & Service sind in einem Restaurant in meiner Welt keine Option, sondern ein definitives Muss. Das will dem Personal im Blondies aber einfach nicht gelingen: Keine Begrüßung, patzige Antworten auf Nachfragen, mangelnde Motivation, offenkundige Defizite in der Fähigkeit eine Bestellung komplett richtig aufzunehmen (oder weiterzugeben) und von Vermittlung eines Kunde-ist-König-Gefühls nicht die Spur. Gemäß dem Aufhänger im Titel muss ich dann auch nicht mehr über eventuell stärkere Glieder wie die lustig zusammengewürfelte Einrichtungen oder den kleinen Innenhofgarten berichten, da sie den schlechten (Personal-) Eindruck nicht wettmachen. Warum hier manche die Burger so loben, die die angemessene Menge der auf der Karte angepriesen Zutaten vermissen lassen, ist mir schleierhaft. Wenn sich das Patty (das unbestreitbar das Aushängeschild und Herz eines Burgers darstellt) hinter jenem eines McD.-Hamburgers verstecken kann, darf es nicht mit meiner Begeisterung rechnen.

Leckere burger Merkwürdige pommes (tiefkühl?) Netter Service und leckere Getränke Leeeeider leider aber sehr lange Wartezeiten aufs Essen. Ich schreib das echt ungern aber wir haben etwas über 1std gewartet. Vermutlich personalmangel?

Waren seit langem Mal wieder im Blondies, es gibt jetzt fast nur noch veganes Essen, Fleisch gar nicht mehr. Ich mache mir Zuhause auch oft vegetarische Bratlinge mit Haferflocken, aber da ist dann noch Ein und Käse drin, was dann wenigstens Geschmack hat. Haferflocken mit Fett auf Burgerbrötchen passt einfach überhaupt nicht. Die "Burger" kamen nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit und die Pommes ca 20 Minuten später, haben nach Backofenpommes geschmeckt und waren kalt, außerdem ohne Salz, auf dem Tisch stand auch kein Salz. Das habe ich alles ganz anders in Erinnerung, wahrscheinlich hat das Kochpersonal gewechselt oder der Betreiber. Man kann echt nur raten, zum alten Zustand zurück zu kehren..

Sehr schnelle Bedienung, sehr leckeres und authentisches veganes Essen. Große Empfehlung! Qualität hat seinen Preis, deshalb kosten die Gerichte etwas mehr. Meine Empfehlung: Veganer Taxi-Teller. 🌱

Nettes Lokal mit sehr gutem veganen Essen. Jedoch extrem lange Wartezeiten, selbst auf Getränke, und unaufmerksamer Service.

Am Samstag Abend um 20:30 die Küche schon zu haben... Sehr sehr schade.

Super leckere Burger! Nettes Personal und eine richtig gute Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich geh da nicht mehr hin, obwohl das Essen gut schmeckt, weil die Musik viel zu laut ist und ich keine Lust habe, mein Gegenüber anzuschreihen. Zudem ist das Ambiente nicht schön, dunkel und ungemütlich.

Die Burger waren sehr lecker. Ich hatte den Haferbratling in einem Cheeseburger. Vegan. Es hat einen eigenen, nicht fleischigen Geschmack gehabt. Es war allerdings sehr lecker. Ich esse normalerweise nur Burger die Fleisch enthalten. Einen Stern entziehe ich weil wir echt lang auf die Getränke warten mussten und weil es mir von der Aufmachung her nicht gefällt.

Man muss zwar manchmal etwas länger warten wenn es voll ist, aber es lohnt sich für das Essen. Wenn ich in Bochum bin, gehört ein Besuch im Blondies definitiv dazu.

Trendiger, recht gemütlicher Laden mit sehr leckerem Essen. Die Portionen sind gut und alles, was meine Kollegen und ich dort gegessen haben, war sehr lecker. Die Preise sind in Anbetracht der Inflation ok.

Essen war i.O. aber die Rechnung am Ende war schon sehr saftig für das was am Ende des Tages auf dem Tisch stand. Dazu die lange Wartezeit und das Ambiente, das irgendwie nicht ganz in den Laden passt. Es ist alles sehr dunkel und sieht ein wenig improvisiert aus (Autolautsprecher mit Holzbrett in der Decke) War einen Versuch wert.

Sehr nette und lockere Bedienung. Das Essen war mega lecker und die Preise sind wirklich in Ordnung gerne wieder.

Man wird um 20 Uhr nicht mehr reingelassen obwohl der halbe Laden leer ist damit die Kellner pünktlich Feierabend machen können. Den Weg hätte ich mir sparen können. Sucht euch ein anderen Burgerladen, in der Nähe gibt es genug

Veganer Burger war super lecker - Ambiente könnte gemütlicher sein ..

Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant wenn ich im Ruhrgebiet bin, und ein must go in Bochum. Echt gutes veganes Essen, Gitarrenmusik und die beste Mango-Margarita die ich jemals getrunken habe (aber bitte Salz statt Zucker ans Glas). Auch mit Kindern und für Kinder eine echt gute Idee. Schön, dass es euch gibt!

Absolute Empfehlung für Vegetarier Veganerinnen: Sehr cooles Ambiente, nette Menschen, leckeres Essen und bei gutem Wetter ein gemütlicher Biergarten.

Nie wieder... Leider muss ich meine 5 Sterne Bewertung überarbeiten... Draußen sind es unter Null Grad Celsius. Im Restaurant nur 15. (gefordert laut Gesetz 19 Grad). Den Chef interessiert es nicht. Das Personal ist nicht in der Lage ans Telefon zu gehen oder mwird weggedrückt. Der Service am Tisch ist unterirdisch schlecht. Der einzige positive Punkt ist das leckere Essen. Es wird gerne mal die Bestrllung durcheinander geworfen... Früher war alles besser. Wir kommen nicht wieder.... Nachtrag: Auch wenn ihr bzw. nur du dich entschuldigt hast ändert das nichts an der Situation. Für uns hat diese Erfahrung gereicht. Wir finden es auch schade...

Großes Lob an das gesamte Team. Es ist immer lecker und eine angenehme lockere Atmosphäre. Die Burger sind einfach nur gut, aber auch die Salate sind für uns immer ein „Muss“. Wir bestellen generell zu viel, weil es einfach schon beim Lesen sehr verführerisch klingt.

Das Essen war super lecker - vegan und meiner Meinung nach erschwinglich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Negativ Punkte sind , dass wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten mussten und dabei ziemlich frieren mussten. besitzt der Laden keine Heizung? Die Decken, welche dort verteilt werden, bringen nicht wirklich was :( Die Parkplatz Suche war Katastrophal.

Erste Enttäuschung: Rindfleisch wird nicht mehr angeboten... Da verliert ein Burgerladen die meisten Sternen.... Zweitens, Kellner war gar nicht Professionel... hat uns vergessen, und Bestellungen vertäuscht... Drittens... das Essen schmeckt nicht

Bei unserem Besuch in Bochum über HappyCow gefunden. Sehr nettes Personal und eine rustikale vegetarische Karte - und das meine ich sehr positiv. Alles sehr lecker. Das ganze in einer Wohlfühlkneipen Atmosphäre mit guter Musik und buntem Publikum.
