Good food, good service and cool location. Kind of strong kitchen smell. Other than that great. Would visit again.

A really nice restaurant located right next to the park. The service is very courteous and you can find something quickly. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired. In my opinion, the dishes could be improved: the cheese spaetzle was overly strong in taste and the Kaiserschmarrn was unfortunately too dry. Since the staff has handled feedback very professionally, it certainly won't take long for an adjustment to take place. We'd love to come back.

It is very loud in the restaurant. It's great outside in the summer.

We always like to come here for a regular's table because we like the atmosphere, the service is friendly and the fried potatoes are second to none. But yesterday wasn't quite the same as usual: Service was tight with the restaurant full and the pork knuckle with potato dumplings and sauerkraut was below average (not crispy on the outside, fat underneath not melted away because it was in the oven for too short a time at too high a temperature and the meat was therefore too firm not easy to remove from the bone). Beer was fine (Paulaner Oktoberfestbräu).

The schnitzel is like the original.

Service and food were once better. The Maatjes tartar e.g. B. consisted mostly of quinoa, with only a thin layer of maatjes tartare on top. Disappointing for fish lovers.

Unfortunately only 1 star. Hopefully things will get better again soon!

I had a 5 star rating here for years. But after several disappointing visits recently, I can no longer maintain this. I hope that the Blue Flower improves again.

Unfortunately, it has been massively dismantled recently. It's a real shame because otherwise it was always worth a visit.

Wir waren hellauf begeistert. Wir saßen im Biergarten und es war eine tolle Atmosphäre, mit super Essen und freundlichem Service.

Unfortunately only one star. We have been here regularly on the weekends for years, especially to eat the Wiener Schnitzel and fried potatoes. We also “recruited” several new customers. Unfortunately, the BB has been downsized massively for some time. On the one hand, top service staff have quit or are no longer there on the weekends. On the other hand, the quality of the food has declined massively. The last time you had the Wiener Schnitzel was simply unsightly and inedible. And even the otherwise unbeatable fried potatoes were poor. The first time we thought it was a mistake because of the food and the unfriendly service. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. When we asked at the counter, we were told that a “change in the kitchen” had taken place. We don't know whether this is the reason for the development. To be fair, we initially sent the BB discreet, friendly and honest feedback via email. Unfortunately there was no response. Hence the review. What a shame!

A super nice, quiet place to meet up with friends. In the evening the sun stays on the terrace for a long time and invites you to stay for a long time. The food and service were great.

A great insider tip for sitting in the sun. The sun shines on the outdoor spaces for a long time in summer. Unfortunately I won't be able to eat anymore. I've tried three different dishes there so far and none of them convinced me.

Wir waren zu viert ab 18:30 h und hatten nicht bedacht, das letzter Schultag war. Viele Familien waren mit ihren Kindern dort, entsprechend laut war es. Das Essen war okay. Ein Teller ging halb zurück , auf unsere Reklamation wurde nicht gut eingegangen. Kein Wort des Bedauerns, eine Entschuldigung kam nicht. Da sollte das Personal noch mal geschult werden.

While the restaurant used to be a bar (around the corner from the current location), it has now developed into an attractive restaurant with a great railway atmosphere. The food is still delicious and the employees are very friendly and accommodating and always ready to have fun. We always feel very comfortable here.

Es war wie immer sehr schön in der blauen Blume ! Fussball gucken sehr gut , darum natürlich etwas lauter als normal. Das Essen war gut , leider finde ich, es wird immer mehr Knoblauch verwendet, was nicht so meinGeschmack ist. Im Salatdressing, auf dem Putensteak usw. Ansonsten alles gut !

Beautiful location in the middle of a new district in Altona. A good, clear menu with I think German dishes. The drinks menu is very varied. I think the 9 different types of non-alcoholic beer are cool. You can sit outside and have a good view of a large meadow.

We'll never eat there again, such poor service!

Every summer we plan to visit this beautiful Kniep in winter too... ;) Rarely has a cult pub moved successfully, but this one did. Everything different and yet the same 😀

Very crowded (and therefore loud) Warm and down-to-earth - I would say that for the service, the ambience, the menu and the price-performance ratio. Delicious home-baked bread (with the salad) and attentive service. You like to stay longer than just to eat… (reservation is recommended)

Although the goat's cheese isn't on the menu, after consulting with the kitchen I was able to get it for a fee with my other main course! Great service and ambience, recommended 😃

Das Essen und der Service am Tisch waren sehr gut. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, und wurden direkt an der zugigen Tür platziert. Nach 5 min habe ich drum gebeten, dass wir einen anderen Tisch bekommen. Was auch zähneknirschend umgesetzt wurde. Die nächsten Gäste wurden wieder dort platziert. Auch die wollten nach einigen Minuten sich umsetzen. Das Ganze wurde mehrmals mit neuen Gästen wiederholt. Für uns unverständlich….

Staff are super friendly and food and drinks are very good. Modern versions of traditional German meals. The kase spätzle is my favorite and the schnitzel is also recommended.

Beautiful historical building. We had 3 different dishes: steak, salad, turkey steak. Steak was on point medium rare. All dishes were very good. Augustiner on tap. Not only recommended for eating, but also suitable for a nightcap. Gladly again

One of my favorite restaurants in Hamburg, good quality of products and cuisine in general. The menu offers typical German cuisine, both local and southern. The bratkartoffeln, hamburgers and fish dishes (matjes, pannfisch hamburgers) are excellent. Warm and relaxed environment, friendly and attentive service.

Das Essen hat wie immer gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren etwas kleiner. Wir hatten eine super nette Bedienung, haben uns noch nie so wohl gefühlt.

All in all we had a lovely evening at the Blue Flower. The starter and the main course (cheese spaetzle) were very tasty. There is a small minus for the first table we got (directly by the toilet). Luckily there was another spot available, which we got. The Kaiserschmarrn was ok, but I wouldn't order it again. Unfortunately, “our” waiter wasn’t in a good mood, which was a shame, of course, but we all have bad days. 😉

Cool Restaurant, great selection of local beer. The Nachos are not great, just cheese flavored chips with more cheese on them. (Update: I now understand this is how nachos are in Germany) I found the service fine for how busy the restaurant was, and would totally visit again.

Laut! Definitiv nichts für Gespräche. Der Service ist langsam, aber sehr freundlich. "Sonderwünsche" bekommen sie trotz Zusage nicht hin. Das Essen war in Ordnung; mit Tendenz zu zu wenig. Alles in allem bleiben gemischte Gefühle.

Wir waren das erste mal und zu sechst in der Blauen Blume. Dort findet mal deutsche Küche, auch tolle vegane Varianten, zu moderaten Preisen. Das Ambiente und der Geräuschpegel waren angenehm und allen hat es geschmeckt. Empfehle ich gerne weiter.

Es war wieder ein richtig schöner Abend. Sehr gemütlich. Das Bier schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Wir waren zu siebt und alle Gerichte waren gut bis sehr gut. Das Interieur ist bemüht auf alter Industriebau ausgelegt mit Schwerpunkt Eisenbahn. In dem Gebäude (Kleiderkammer der Dt. Reichsbahn aus der Zeit um 1900-1910) liegt das nah. Wegen der kahlen Ziegelwände und des daraus entstehenden Halls in dem voll besetzten Lokal war es leider laut, zum Teil unangenehm laut. Die Blaue Blume versucht an der neuen Stelle an ihre Vergangenheit als für alle Gruppen offene Stadtteilkneipe anzuschließen, da sich die Gegend aber zu einer überdurchschnittlich teueren Wohnlage gewandelt hat und sicherlich auch die Miete um einiges höher sein dürfte, gelingt das nicht zur Gänze. €25 - €30 für Hauptgericht und 2 Getränke sollten als untere Grenze gerechnet werden.

War wie immer super. Tolles Personal! Das Essen ist sehr lecker, aber es könnte mehr vegane Optionen geben!

Alles ok allem ganz ok. Bratkartoffeln waren nicht gut. Schnitzel sehr lecker. Ansonsten preis-Leistung nicht ganz gerecht finde ich. Etwas überteuert. Kellner könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Aber man hat ja auch mal nen schlechten Tag. Ansonsten alles fein.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung und schönes Ambiente.
