The worst part was the noise level. Conversation was difficult. My invited guests described the salads I ordered as rather bland. My food was okay. The service was very friendly and absolutely fine.

Our number 1 for Wiener Schnitzel, fried potatoes, and dessert. And Benji is the best server in town.

Did not even get to order...We waited 30 minutes at our table, signaled ourselves several times to the waiter who told us to wait for him, he attended the tables around us but not us. Finally when we went up to him directly to order he said we needed to switch tables because ours was in a reserved area (nothing was marked on the table). When we asked why he didn't mention this earlier he said "Well, I'm telling you now!". Awful, never going back.

Disappointing breakfast, unfortunately not recommended For €17, I got a "hearty breakfast" where the cheese and sausage were already sweating – apparently having been sitting outside too long, I had to send it back. The second portion wasn't any better: The egg salad was lukewarm again, which is simply unacceptable for such dishes. Frankly, I'm glad I didn't get the fish one. The sourdough bread was the "best" part of the breakfast, which says a lot – the rest seemed unloving and random, like the dried banana pieces. My friend's cheese breakfast was also small and not freshly prepared, and the missing cheese only came upon request. Almost €50 for two breakfasts where the quality is subpar – I can't recommend it, even with the best will in the world.

Very good food and service that can handle even large groups (including children). Nice playground right outside and a lawn where children can play with a ball :-)

First time at the Blaue Blume (recommended by our host). We only had a few drinks there on two evenings. We really enjoyed the wines on tap. The nice selection of bottled wines is also interesting. Beer drinkers will also find something to their liking, as we discovered on the third evening. With the nice selection of draft and bottled beers, there should be something for every taste. Our salads were very tasty and attractively presented. The service was very friendly and attentive. We also really liked the location. Our recommendation: Just go there and see for yourself. We have found a new "local" for our visits to Hamburg.

Lovely restaurant with German cuisine and good steaks at reasonable prices (pepper steak 18.50 plus sides) compared to some other steakhouses in the area. Several good beers are available on tap. We enjoyed our meal and would gladly return. We sat inside, in the great ambiance of a former railway warehouse. There's also an outdoor seating area. The extremely friendly and prompt service is particularly noteworthy. Top!

Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. We inquired about renting the location for a potential wedding and simply asked if there were any timeframes or advance booking rules we should know about. Instead of giving a helpful answer, the staff snapped back sarcastically. Completely unacceptable. They also insisted they “need a date first” before saying anything, which makes no sense—most professional venues do inform you about general timelines or booking policies. The whole interaction felt disrespectful, dismissive, and made us feel very uncomfortable. If this is how they treat potential clients, I can only imagine how they handle actual events. Not recommended.

The expensive food was good, even though it finally arrived after what felt like an eternity. It was busy, but the service still didn't seem particularly professional or organized. The noise level was high due to the acoustics of the restaurant, which I found annoying. Overall, it was a bit mixed.

The food is very so-so. The roast beef was good and plentiful, the tartar sauce tasted like a convenience store product, and the fried potatoes were limp. There's definitely room for improvement.

At first the meat was cooked through, but after a complaint it was rare. I ordered medium, but I ate it rare. The fried potatoes were swimming in fat (photo). The pepper sauce had a slightly bitter aftertaste. The salad barely had any dressing. A substandard culinary experience. The service was attentive but overwhelmed. A waste of money.

I like the food. There are traditional dishes like fried potatoes. There are vegetarian and vegan options, and it tastes good.

A regular haunt. Service is always friendly and warm. Large beer selection, great ambiance inside, and plenty of sunshine outside from spring to fall, with a beer garden feel. The quality of the food is generally good, but has fluctuated over the past two years. Efforts are evident, and criticism is accepted and communicated. Käsespätzle used to be authentically good, but today it's more like Spätzle in cream sauce. The salad and schnitzel are highly recommended. The changing specials menu always offers tasty surprises. Waren an einem wunderbaren Sonnentag im März mit der Familie in der neuen Blauen Blume. Zuerst haben wir draussen gessesen, Augustiner vom Fass getrunken und dann nach drinnen zum Essen gegangen. Gut, das das Restaurant für Kinderwagen und Rollis eine Auffahrt hat und auch an ein WC für Rollis wurde gedacht. Das essen war lecker. Das einzig negative war der Lärmpegel. Ds Lokal war voll besetzt und selbst an unserem Ecktisch konnte man sich nur mit erhöhter Lautstärke unterhalten.

We went to the restaurant relatively spontaneously. It's very inviting there. The food was just as delicious as we imagined and the conditions were very friendly and attentive. If we are in Hamburg again in this part of the city, we will definitely stop there again. If you like to eat German cuisine, this is the right place for you. Simply great!!!

We ordered 2 dishes via Uber Eats and I'm sorry to say that neither one was good. The lettuce leaves on my salad were huge. I couldn't get through the salad with the dressing. Also, there were no tomatoes or peppers in the salad. In the second dish, the matjes was unfortunately warm because it was delivered in a container with the fried potatoes. These, however, were not warm enough. Unfortunately, the bread didn't taste like anything either. We are really disappointed considering the price. What a shame!!

We went there for a Valentine's Day date. It was outstanding! The staff was very professional and yet relaxed and friendly. The food is a dream and all at good prices. Special praise goes to our waitress, who really took great care of us! We'd love to come back

The food is really tasty and the staff is very friendly. Due to the structural conditions and the many guests, it is really loud inside and makes conversations very difficult. My recommendation is to visit in summer and have the opportunity to sit outside. Unfortunately, the toilets also have to be criticized as there is a strong smell of urine right up to the entrance

We got there early, so it wasn't a problem finding or getting a seat. I can imagine that a reservation is advisable if you arrive after 6 p.m. or with several people. I liked the atmosphere. In the building of the old Deutsche Bahn clothes department you can find small references to Deutsche Bahn everywhere. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's not a cheap option for eating out, but it's definitely acceptable and the quality is appropriate. The food was delicious and we would love to come back.

Unfortunately, the Blue Flower had my review deleted by Google. I don't think that's so nice. I actually had to file an “appeal.” Well, here is my review again. Unfortunately, the Blue Flower has faded. My last few visits have been disappointing. I hope that things will move forward again at some point.

Unfortunately, my last visits in late summer were all disappointing (service and quality of food). So I'm no longer a regular. So far I have refrained from writing a review. But now I'm making one because I found out that the BB, with the help of Google, had several authentic and harmless reviews deleted just because they were critical. That's not possible and is a disgrace.

Traditionsreiche Kneipe/Restaurant im Großraum; zwanglose Atmosphäre unkomplizierte, nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen im normalen Preisbereich. Ein Besuch in der blauen Blume lohnt sich immer, sei es für ein Feierabendbier oder etwa ein Date zum Kennenlernen. Für viele (ältere) ist ein Treffen in der Blauen Blume schon Hamburger Tradition. Die "neuen" Räume (seit 2020) sind wesentlich schicker geraten, haben aber auch etwas "Akustik" - soll heißen, es kann schon mal einen ordentlichen Lautstärkepegel geben. Ansonsten selbstverständlich eine klare Kneipenempfehlung!!

This restaurant is unique: great service, good food and a great wine selection at pretty good prices. There we discovered a special wine from France that was simply perfect: nice and round and had already matured for a few years (2015). Detr Service is patient, always in a good mood and is happy to fulfill special requests. When it comes to food selection, everyone will find something!

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal in diesem netten Restaurant: das Essen ist sehr gut, der Service perfekt, auch Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Weinauswahl. Wir hatten einen Chateau d' Estoublon 2015 für € 46, ein feiner Wein zu einem guten Preis.

marvelous. My burger family brought us here to eat. The fried potatoes are the best, the best I have ever tasted. My beef was also delicious. The mix was very even and the vegetables were great. The service is very warm.

A really nice restaurant located right next to the park. The service is very courteous and you can find something quickly. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired. In my opinion, the dishes could be improved: the cheese spaetzle was overly strong in taste and the Kaiserschmarrn was unfortunately too dry. Since the staff has handled feedback very professionally, it certainly won't take long for an adjustment to take place. We'd love to come back.

We always like to come here for a regular's table because we like the atmosphere, the service is friendly and the fried potatoes are second to none. But yesterday wasn't quite the same as usual: Service was tight with the restaurant full and the pork knuckle with potato dumplings and sauerkraut was below average (not crispy on the outside, fat underneath not melted away because it was in the oven for too short a time at too high a temperature and the meat was therefore too firm not easy to remove from the bone). Beer was fine (Paulaner Oktoberfestbräu).

The schnitzel is like the original.

Service and food were once better. The Maatjes tartar e.g. B. consisted mostly of quinoa, with only a thin layer of maatjes tartare on top. Disappointing for fish lovers.

Unfortunately only 1 star. Hopefully things will get better again soon!

A great insider tip for sitting in the sun. The sun shines on the outdoor spaces for a long time in summer. Unfortunately I won't be able to eat anymore. I've tried three different dishes there so far and none of them convinced me.

Wir waren zu viert ab 18:30 h und hatten nicht bedacht, das letzter Schultag war. Viele Familien waren mit ihren Kindern dort, entsprechend laut war es. Das Essen war okay. Ein Teller ging halb zurück , auf unsere Reklamation wurde nicht gut eingegangen. Kein Wort des Bedauerns, eine Entschuldigung kam nicht. Da sollte das Personal noch mal geschult werden.

While the restaurant used to be a bar (around the corner from the current location), it has now developed into an attractive restaurant with a great railway atmosphere. The food is still delicious and the employees are very friendly and accommodating and always ready to have fun. We always feel very comfortable here.

Es war wie immer sehr schön in der blauen Blume ! Fussball gucken sehr gut , darum natürlich etwas lauter als normal. Das Essen war gut , leider finde ich, es wird immer mehr Knoblauch verwendet, was nicht so meinGeschmack ist. Im Salatdressing, auf dem Putensteak usw. Ansonsten alles gut !
