Great terrace with sea views. Very large cake buffet. Cheesecake and Black Forest cherry also very tasty. I can't judge warm dishes. Anyone who complains here is just a self-service fast food joint and not a star restaurant. But ideal for coffee and cake.

Nice location. Prices “take getting used to”. You just pay for the location ;-) Currywurst fries beyond 10 euros...

Expensive food with mediocre chip shop quality. Loveless frozen schnitzel at restaurant prices, outrageous drink prices despite self-service. You feel left out and ripped off. In Bensersiel you can get more in better quality at cheaper prices elsewhere.

It's just a fast food restaurant with system catering. Fries with currywurst okay, ketchup over-spiced. The advertised green mayo was too heavily dressed with pesto and overshadowed everything. The falafel were dry. Too bad.

I think the store is chic, it is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is unbeatable with an outdoor terrace and a view of the harbor and dike. The food is ok for a canteen or chip shop. I think the prices for everything else are very high, so we hardly ever go there.

Unfortunately we can't rate the food because we only had something to drink. A great restaurant and the fireplace corner is a dream. We felt very comfortable and were there every evening of our vacation.

For me it's pure mockery! Completely overpriced self-service fast food restaurant. The drinks prices are also a disgrace in my opinion! No thanks, I'm on vacation to relax, not to get milked! Supermarket, fridge and lots of savings!

We just wanted to have a drink in peace, then a service person came and informed us that our table had been reserved retroactively ???? At the counter I noticed that a large family with a relationship probably needs a place, and the same service person then simply chose our table 😡 since the family is well-behaved!!! When children approached, we voluntarily gave up our place and drank while standing. But the drinks were expensive. After we found a new place and wanted to order something to drink, the service person who spoke to us got upset and didn't want to serve me. My husband was then able to order from someone else, the drinks were great and so was the service from everyone else. Maybe someone should think about changing jobs without customer traffic 🤣

We had already been seated at a table and ordered our drinks when we were told the table was reserved. Unfortunately, this was not visible through a sign or anything else. We were asked to clear the table, but at least we were allowed to finish our drinks in peace - which we also appreciated. However, better labeling of the reservation would have been desirable to avoid such situations. Unfortunately, this left a slightly unpleasant aftertaste in what was otherwise a nice visit

Had a crispy chicken burger. My special wishes were fulfilled and it was tasty and good.

Great location in a good location with a lot of room for improvement. You should have a lot of time and patience. Long wait for everything. Staff was very friendly and cakes were delicious.

Blank Hans really makes you blank^^. The restaurant itself is modern and really beautifully decorated and super clean. But for this great location and ambience, the quality of the food is unfortunately really not good. We had the Hans Classic Burger, Chicken Burger, 2x fries, 1xBratwurst, 1xFanta, 1xCola and an apple spritzer and the whole thing for 46€. Considering that almost everything is frozen goods except for a bit of salad and buns for the burgers, the price is really exaggerated. You could get more out of this restaurant, especially with its location and ambience, if the food was up to par. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

Unfortunately there is no vegan offer because there is supposedly no demand for it. I don't understand why people are so reluctant to eat vegan dishes, as if no one would eat them, everyone likes them and is a nice change from the typical dishes. It's a shame for the guests who can't find anything in the restaurant, not even a dish. It's a shame, especially on vacation. And wasted income for you because a potential target group is excluded.

We went there for breakfast today, everything was great, you can sit there very well and it's cozy, the selection was just great, I can only recommend it

With our two small children we were certainly not the quietest guests, but the team remained relaxed and very friendly the whole time.

A special restaurant and cafe with a great view, rustic modern furnishings and nice, young service. In winter, an extensive breakfast buffet is offered again, and in summer the large outdoor terrace can also be used. Recommended.

After a day of playing next door, we wanted to grab something quick to eat before heading back home. I briefly looked on the internet and on the homepage and saw it. Kitchen until 6:45 p.m. We thought it was great and came to the store hungry at 5 p.m. There we were told there was only something to drink and no more food. It's a shame if you use a complex homepage and then don't update the opening times. So someone else got our money and a good review.

There is almost everything here. It is a self-service restaurant. Everyday, quickly heated food and a good cake counter with friendly service.

Clean shop with friendly staff, music is played discreetly and not too loud all the time. Food very tasty. If you have to go to the toilet and are lazy, you should and must think outside the box. I think it's a good thing if you give instructions on how to return your drinks, you don't necessarily have to go to the toilet straight away. In any case, we would love to come back.

‼️ Attention - no credit card ‼️ The fried fish at Blanker Hans is absolutely fantastic and super tasty – definitely worth recommending! The only downside: Unfortunately you can only pay with an EC card, not a credit card. In this day and age, when even small shops accept credit cards, it would be really great if Blanker Hans could improve this. For example, our bank no longer issues debit cards, which makes it difficult for us. Still: the food is great and definitely worth a visit. We would only like the payment options to be adapted to the standards of the time.

We waited first before checking that you have to serve yourself. But otherwise everything was good. Staff friendly, view and furnishings beautiful. Music was a bit loud and not to our liking, but that depends on the person.

A very nice place with a view of the sea. The playground is right next door, so it's also ideal for families. The restaurant inside with a nice bar and cozy corners.

Das Essen hat gar nicht geschmeckt. Die Wurst im Hotdog war so hart als hätte sie schon Stunden auf dem Grill gelegen. Das Hotdog Brötchen viel sofort auseinander da konnte man den Hotdog nur mit Messer und Gabel essen.

Dogs are welcome, it says on the door, but where should we go in if dogs are not allowed on the paths that lead into the restaurant. Unfortunately, the environment is not dog-friendly either. Otherwise nice location with a nice view.

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, toller Ausblick, top Standort. Perfekt war es hier immer für einen warmen Kakoa nach einem langen Wattspaziergang. Das Abendessen aus verschiedenen Burgern, Salat und Pommes leider keine gute Qualität.

Die Lage am Strand und vor allem der große Außenbereich laden zum Verweilen ein. Der Innenraum ist recht groß, wirkt durch das Interieur aus Holz aber trotzdem nicht ungemütlich. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Preise sind zivil - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Everything is perfect here, the fish & chips were very good, we didn't have to wait long and the price was right. The beach location with a view of the North Sea and the harbor is great.

There is something for everyone on the menu, plenty to choose from. If you have any concerns, just ask and the staff will find a solution. Ambience excellent, relaxed and quiet. Chilling music plays in the background which rounds off the punching flair. The only point deducted from the B grade... there was no more cellar beer in the last few days... But we'll be back 😉

Bensersieler Hafentage 2024. It was really nice to be there again. Rock Shots was great. Black Jack came second for me this year. But the best was Frank Sinatra with Emily from Blank Hans with... New York, New York. Girl come back soon. Health and all the best. 😜 🤘🏻. Don't forget your card. I'm looking forward to the next time in BENSERSIEL 2025.

We just had a drink here. It was really nice and there was really good music playing in the background. I think it's great for having parties there.

We were there a few weeks ago, a quick snack. The food was tasty, the ambience was okay for a snack. Service was great, nice staff.

We had a veggie dog and fries with ketchup, a tea and a soda. A tablespoon-sized bowl of ketchup costs 70 cents extra and isn't nearly enough for a portion of fries. The veggie hot dog came with a very limp bun and the sausage was nothing either. Cucumbers and fried onions make up the taste, but I don't need to eat a hot dog for that. Fries tasted okay but nothing special. Of course, you also pay for the location in the price. So it's okay, but not super cheap either. Overall, unfortunately not convincing. That's better.

Self-service is currently the order of the day at Blanken Hans, unfortunately as has often been the case since Corona. The ladies behind the counter were nice and helpful. Whether 7.20 euros is appropriate for a small wine spritzer with draft wine remains to be seen. You sit comfortably and that has to be taken into account in the price. Unfortunately we cannot rate food.

Very expensive for small snacks. Tourism plus general price increases. Service so-so, some are in a good mood, some less so. Music is ok too. The ambience is with a sea view.

Blanke Hans is a self-service restaurant and the food there always tastes good. Of course you always have something where you say oh well, but usually you can't complain. The cocktails 🍸 are also recommended, they are not the kind of watery stuff you get in some other places where they save on alcohol. The service behind the bar where you pick up your drinks is always friendly and they always have time to have a little chat. What I think is good is that you can go there with children, there are coloring books and puzzle books and one or two games. And the staff is very friendly towards the children. The live music on Thursday evenings is also highly recommended. The atmosphere is great and we really enjoy coming there. It's very cozy there and the view is very nice.

Ready-made food, produced in the cheapest way. Everything is deep fried. Food dripping with grease. I don't recommend it and I won't come back.

Nice self-service restaurant. Service was super nice, especially at the outside counter, dishes were solid. The herring is great, very mild and fresh. The names for the children's dishes are very imaginative, in which the Bolognese pasta stands out in terms of quality. The interior furnishings are modern and stylish. The view outside of the marina and sea is great.

Is solid, delicious food. I go there 2-3 times on vacation every year.

Save your money, the food doesn't taste good...

We weren't here for the first time on our vacation after the renovation! We really liked it! It is very modern but with a charm of coziness! We were here for lunch and got some cake! There was a huge selection, which we didn't expect. Would have been happy with 2-3 cakes but there were cakes, cakes and donuts. Everything was arranged very attractively. The service was super friendly and nice. We had a nice place with a good view of the harbor, which we personally really liked. I think the prices are absolutely okay. We'd love to come back! Unfortunately there are no photos of the cake, it was eaten too quickly :-)

Fried fish has a decent piece of fillet. Baking dough is also quite good. Tartar sauce and potato salad are better left out.

Schnitzel crispy, the fries had a little too much ketchup - the atmosphere was unbeatably good - overall the best price-performance ratio within a radius of a good 50 km!

Absolute recommendation! You can take food on site and to go to the beach. The outside ice cream stand is great too! We have been here several times and have extensively tested cakes, warm dishes, drinks and ice cream. For the beach I recently got everything packed up so it wouldn't leak, with plenty of napkins and wooden picks. You can buy disposable tableware for €1 at the checkout, which has proven to be a success for us! The employees on site were all friendly. The sanitary facilities are new and well-maintained, but depending on the time of day they can be a bit critical of visitors. With the stroller we were able to move around the restaurant and outside area without any problems. No credit card payment possible! There were also more frequent problems with the wallet (via cell phone or Applewatch). We'd love to come back!

Self-service snack concept Was ordered Currywurst with fries New York hot dog Nuggets with fries Currywurst was broken twice and placed in a small bowl and drowned in sauce (sauce was good!) I didn't like the hot dog, the beef sausage was heated at least twice because it was hard and dry, then cole slaw and braised onions, topped with a BBQ sauce!?! I know New York hot dogs with boiled sausage, sauerkraut and then possibly braised onions. There wasn't much that could go wrong with the Nuggets. Unfortunately, like almost everywhere else, the fries are soggy.

Unfortunately I waited about 30 minutes today from ordering to eating, including that my order was forgotten. This isn't possible at a self-service restaurant and if it is, please use "beepers" and you can have a drink at your seat while you're at it. The food was OK. - we had children's nuggets, fried fish and cheeseburgers. The fried fish had too much breading and it wasn't completely cooked through. The nearby sea is impressive in terms of ambience. However, the tables were quite messy and dirty. Yes, it was busy. But not that much. Next time we'll go to Fisch & Meer further back - they do a better job and are also self-service.

The staff is completely overwhelmed. Our order was forgotten and was not prepared. The food is run of the mill fried fast food. The only good thing is the beautiful location and view by the sea.

The conditions would actually be great (nice furnishings, good location, etc.), but unfortunately the implementation is not. Everything seems very lifeless and loveless, which may be due to the lack of service and the tables could also be wiped down and the floor swept more often. The food was ok, but greasy, very salty and the portions were relatively manageable.

I ordered 2 different soft ice creams. They taste really delicious. I would love to order again straight away. That's why I'm leaving 5 stars. Service and employees are nice. The atmosphere is very nice and you feel comfortable.

Does what it's supposed to do. Hot food on the beach. 3 minutes from the beach chair… fries etc. everything ok. Of course, something like this costs more on the beach in a tourist castle than in one around the corner. Nobody is forced to buy 😉

A tragedy, the next guests have to clear the full tables of the previous guests and clean the table themselves. A note to the counter staff that the towel paper is empty and there is toilet paper in at least one toilet is skillfully ignored. That's right, chatting behind the counter is more fun...

There's nothing to complain about about the food here but the staff!! A blonde woman in particular who is standing at the checkout has a very rude aura and it doesn't really work to be really rude

Anyone who writes here that the food is great has no idea about good food. I don't think frozen goods are cooked hot in the deep fryer and sold at an overpriced price.
