Meine Kinder und ich lieben das Essen , tolle Bedienung, da muss man einfach hin ! Gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr zu empfehlen

Wir hatten Gyros in Metaxasoße mit Käse überbacken bestellt. Das sogenannte Fleisch war ungenießbar, der Reis schmeckte nach gar nichts. Und die Soße war weit entfernt von einer Metaxasoße. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei oder ob es geschmeckt hat. Einen Ouzo, so wie es kenne, gab es auch nicht.

Das Gyros war leider sehr trocken und alles andere als saftig, die überbackene Version war hingegen mehr als „deftig“ und lag schwer im Magen.

Wir wollten hier einen gemütlichen Abend verbringen und wurden mehr als enttäuscht. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einer alten Gastwirtschaft und soll durch griechische Dekorationen etwas ansprechend wirken. Wir fühlten uns hier gar nicht willkommen. Die Inhaberfamilie wirkte gestresst und missgelaunt. Die Getränke wurden missmutig hingestellt, einen Hinweis auf das Salatbuffet gab's nicht. Die Salatauswahl war in Ordnung aber Dressing in weißen Plastikflaschen ohne Angabe des Inhaltes ging gar nicht. Mein Gericht, Hackfleischröllchen in Metaxassoße überbacken, bestand aus vorgefertigten Cevapcici in einer geschmacklosen Soße. Nachwürzen hats auch nicht besser gemacht. Es wurde ohne die Frage, ob es geschmeckt hat, eilig abgeräumt. Am Nachbartisch fragte ein Herr vor dem Bezahlen, ob zum Abschluss ein Ouzo als Zeichen griechischer Gastfreundschaft ausgeschenkt wird. Dies wurde verneint. Einige Gäste haben dann Ouzo in kleinen Glasfläschchen bestellt und zusätzlich gezahlt. Wir würden dort nie wieder essen. Alle anderen Restaurants im Ort waren um ein Vielfaches besser.

Service was excellent and quick, the food was no reason to visit again. Schnitzel seemed to be some kind of inferior industrial product, the skewer was baked dry and had no taste at all. And there was no ouzo to console us either

Well, once and not again. Loveless service. As I walked away from the table, I mumbled "There's a salad in it..." The food was only lukewarm, all the food was dry, no sauce, no tzatziki, no ouzo as usual. Quick, unfriendly payment before the plates were cleared away. There are better alternatives in this small village.

We were here and had a delicious meal. The toilets were very clean. The service was also OK.

My friend's grill plate tasted good, but was partly cold. The menu offers calamari, but you get squid rings, which tasted no different than frozen food and were seasoned poorly or not at all. Be careful when ordering drinks, if you don't say the size, you'll automatically get the largest one possible. Going to the toilet is not free for guests either. In our eyes, an outrage.

At the Greeks you can find the beautiful Greek cuisine again. Simple but delicious. The comparison comes from the restaurants on the coast and Munich. So you can distribute the stars. The food was on the table very quickly. Now parking is such an issue. The view of the harbor cannot be fulfilled because a compromise has to be made. If something doesn't fit, just let us know and it will work. No reason to complain about incorrect orders 😀. Have fun

That's better. The salad buffet is very manageable and the sauces with it are not really recommended. Minced steaks are also very manageable in terms of the amount of meat. The fries are OK but you won't get full. All in all, there is room for improvement.

Tourist bar with simply furnished indoor and outdoor seating. Standard menu without any special highlights. Service friendly and quick. You should get the starter salad from the “buffet”. However, you will only find a relatively modest selection of canned goods there. The music in the restaurant takes a lot of getting used to. Only melancholic music is played. The prices are not low. Two ouzos cost €11, but are also served with ice. Oh well. At “our” Greek home, the ouzo is on the house after dinner.

Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Das Essen war gut, die Portionen sehr groß. Zum Abschluss wurde uns der obligatorische Ouzo angeboten, den wir leider krankheitsbedingt ablehnen mussten. Wir würden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Bensersiel wieder das Restaurant auswählen.

My gyros were delicious, but unfortunately only lukewarm. My husband's lamb chops were just subpar. Cold and tough (that was definitely an old sheep 🐑). This was the first and last visit to this restaurant for us. Unfortunately not recommended.

We were there on Sunday evening. Actually it was already closed. Nevertheless we were still served. The food was really delicious. If it wasn't so far away, I would actually go there more often.

It's a shame to have been here. The salad buffet was still okay. The white beans as a starter were delicious. The gyro plate was nothing. Had it returned twice because the meat was lukewarm, and plate number three was also only lukewarm. The meat too dry. The complaint wasn't well received by the service and I don't want to write anything about the service, it's better. All in all disappointing. Get better food for less money at a Greek takeaway.

So first of all I can't understand these negative reviews. There is dressing for salads and you can also season it at the table. I can give 10 points for the food because the portions and the prices are unique. We were very excited and not for the first time here. I was there yesterday, got a table inside. The atmosphere is very old-fashioned and doesn't seem very Greek. But for me it was about food. I ordered gyros gratinated, but only with fries and no rice. The fries were very nice, golden yellow and crispy. The mixed salad from the buffet was brought to my table, it was very tasty with the dressing. The gratinated gyros were plentiful and tasted very good. Didn't quite finish the portion. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

A "real" Greek, traditional cuisine, owner-run restaurant and the family helps - that's how you know it and that's how I personally like it. Unfortunately, Greek cuisine is not my favorite, but the children were even happier with the classics “Spaghetti Bolognese” and “Fish fingers with fries”. Everyone was full and was fed well and quickly. Great, we'd love to come back!

Food is really recommended. Staff very friendly. Parking, however, is very difficult as tickets are often handed out and it is not really clear how long you are allowed to park But this is what the city wanted, not the restaurant itself. The owners make every guest aware of this. It's better to park in the large parking lot and walk a few steps. Prices right by the sea are completely ok. We were really satisfied.

I ordered a plate worth €20. The rice was completely overcooked and some of the meat was cold and not fresh. In addition, we found the service very unfriendly. Gyros with Metaxa didn't taste like Metaxa. Souflaki was dry and didn't taste good at all. Can't understand the good reviews. Salad buffet consisted of canned olives, watery tomatoes, kidney beans and grated carrots, plus beetroot and peppers. The pepperoni was the best of all. Can't recommend the restaurant.

We can't understand many of the reviews here.....o.k. the The furnishings are older, like us, but certainly nostalgic and well maintained, or as they like to say today....sustainable....but I go out to eat and the host and the food are important to me and that was more than great here .....meat or fillet to the point....tasty, non-greasy fries.....tasty rice and honest homemade tzatziki....incredibly nice everyone....great service....not fancy and overly seasoned but very tasty food....more than sufficient selection of salads at the buffet, 7 choices, even with expensive, tasty black olives, and yes, we were overfull too....very large portions....I almost forgot There was also ouzo afterwards... Conclusion: we were very satisfied and are glad that we didn't let the reviews guide us. You have to form your own opinion and it worked for us. By the way, we are really neutral guests and not competitors.

We ordered takeaway food. The gyro was only lukewarm, if at all. It was also poorly seasoned. We were able to put together a salad. The choices were coleslaw, carrot salad, olives, beetroot and pepperoni. The coleslaw was bad and we threw it away straight away. By far the worst Greek I've ever been to. Service was okay. Ambience was non-existent. Very small and little space. Terrace not exactly inviting either. That was probably the last time we ate there.

Unser Essen war gut und reichlich und wurde in angemessen Zeit serviert. Allerdings haben wir den Ouzo vermisst, der die griechische Gastfreundschaft abrundet. Auf unsere Frage nach zwei Ouzo erhielten wir 2 Flaschen mit je 5cl und gest. Eis zum Preis von 11 Euro !! Das entspricht nicht der überall praktizierten Gastfreundschaft

3 stars are appropriate here. You get full - but unfortunately it's nothing special; especially not the boring tasting gyros.

Unfortunately we didn't like it that much. The gyro was soggy and not well seasoned, and only lukewarm. The steak and the souvlaki were very dry and hardly seasoned. Some of the fries were bone hard. But of course it's all a matter of taste. Even the ouzo after the meal, which we don't really know any other way, wasn't available here.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, Gyros, und alle weiteren Gerichte waren frisch, auf den Punkt und sehr lecker! Die Portionen sind passend und die Karte ist authentisch und gut! Die Familie ist sehr freundlich gewesen und der Service war aufgeschlossen! Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen gern weiter!

Everything seems old there and inside you can see a lot of distribution boards hanging at half past eight. Every now and then a smell comes inside, as if there was a barrel full of old cigarette butts somewhere. The food “Gyros Platter” was just mediocre. The buffet was minimal, with little choice. You can also leave it out. Fries were tasty, red rice tasted like ready-made rice and not homemade. The salad was just a leaf and tzatziki on top, which wasn't particularly tasty either. The meat went like this, it was a bit dry. The dish tastes 100 times tastier with our local Greeks than it does there. For me, not a second time.

Und super trockenes Schweinefilet welches eher an Schnitzelfleisch erinnert hat. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, aber das reißt schlechtes Essen nicht raus.

The reviews are correct, everything is heavily worn. As a salad there is coleslaw and carrots, nothing else. Meat was very dry, gyros was not from the spies, it also seemed super dry like shredded meat from the pan. Everything was very sparse or not seasoned at all.

Hello everyone First we sat at a camping table then the first condition was not very happy to work that day the way she looked after the guests no smile or a friendly laugh or questions!!! Then next the boss at the table next to us, after the guests had left the table, briefly checked the tablecloth, something probably wasn't as it should....well whatever then I just turned it around and said...that's what it did nothing to do with good service......!!! Furthermore, the sanitary facilities should have been given a proper cleaning and some renovation would also be very necessary because the tiles were at least from the 70s and the floor didn't just stick a little!!! And when it came time to pay you couldn't pay the bill separately, very strange, the answer was...we won't do it!!! .....or the math thing at school didn't work as well as the parents would have liked ....so thats it You can only do something like that if you know exactly that there is no competition in the place, i.e. there is no other restaurant that serves gyros...it's a shame because competition stimulates business and would be good for it!!! ... Stay healthy and happy and think about where you go to eat

The food was so-so. I've had better Greek food. Service wasn't special, for example I couldn't order the Metaxa sauce especially for the Giros. I found it weak. Unfortunately there are also guests where the dog is bigger than my daughter. On the way to the toilet it was like a mountain hike around the dog. Friendly welcome and service from the owner and his wife. The food was very good and enough to fill you up ♨️ e.g. You can portion your own coleslaw with the dish as you wish. The dining room is a bit small but cozy and there is enough space outside in the beer garden even if the weather isn't ideal.
