Very nice cozy bistro. Staff extremely friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated for Christmas. Ate goulash soup. Tasted fantastic with lots of pieces of beef. Price/performance ratio very OK. Can only recommend this bistro.

We have been meeting there regularly once a week after our sports program for several years. There is a very nice, varied bistro menu with a very good price-performance ratio. The “small” salads are amazing in terms of taste and size and we love the curry sauce! Of course, you won't find any fine dining here, but you will definitely find solid bistro cuisine, which is also popular with swimming pool and sauna guests. The staff is consistently very accommodating, nice and yet unobtrusive... and always makes "special requests" possible that are not even on the menu. The ambience is a bit minimalistic, you won't find any playful decoration here. A counter in the shape of a ship's hull, porthole windows to the swimming pool, plus photos from Alt-Gelsenkirchen... everything very clear and, what is much more important for us, very clean!! We love coming and are looking forward to the terrace with the large parasols as soon as the weather permits again.

Always delicious dishes at fair prices. Regardless of whether it's salad or schnitzel, it tastes good and we enjoy eating there while visiting the sauna. Card payments would be a given in 2022, but here you can only pay in cash... a shame. For this reason we had to go without food twice because we didn't have any cash with us.
