Outstanding cuisine and service

This is my favorite restaurant in Munich and I try to visit every time I am here. The staff are friendly and give good food recommendations. All dishes were just amazing.

The food and the entire service team are a 10/10. We were served by a nice young gentleman named Dimitri and given extremely competent and friendly advice. Thank you for this great service!

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. We had the 3-course lunch menu, and while it was certainly appealing to vegetarians and pumpkin lovers, overall it was underwhelming. The service was also rather unfriendly, which significantly affected the overall impression. It's a shame because the food had potential.

Great restaurant, Sicilian chef (Oct 2024), top dishes and top service

Actually very good food, had a complaint about a fish on the fish platter (for 35 euros). The waitress told me that the very dry and overcooked fish was normal!? She then went to the next table, where regulars were sitting, and talked loudly about my stupid complaint. Hello, are you still okay? Outrageous treatment and the cherry on top was: the barmaid ate something out of her hand, then licked several fingers and poured drinks for the next guest without washing her hands. Dear ladies, maybe you are already blind to the company - but unfortunately you are not friendly and responsible. I tipped 6.- and not even a thank you!

I can't help but give this 5 stars. An all-round great restaurant where everything fits. Right down to clean and modern toilets. Simply recommended for an Italian evening. Highly priced but a great evening.

The food is generally okay, but the price-performance ratio is not right at all. And the service was subpar. There were two of us there. 45 minutes after the first food came and only after I wanted to cancel my order, my food miraculously arrived. Sorry dear Seerose, every snack bar can do that better. And certainly not at this price.

Cibo davvero buonissimo e lo dico da italiana. Sono andata con un’amica, piatto principale squisito, dolce della casa con vaniglia fatta da loro davvero perfetta. Accoglienza cortese, le persone che ci lavorano davvero cordiali e simpatiche. Tutto perfetto, davvero super consigliato. Prezzo più basso della media, per la qualità abbiamo pagato poco. Super consigliato.

Delicious authentic Italian food! The food is presented very nicely. There are quite a few options to choose from. The pasta is all handmade and the dessert is also a must-try: I also recommend the tiramisu. However, the prices are a little high for what you get. The staff is kind, funny and attentive. You can either sit inside or outside.

Excellent Italian for nice evenings. I'm not a regular guest but I go there about 3-4 times a year and can't report any bad experiences so far. Food is always fresh, creative and delicious. The service is always courteous. I will be your guest again at any time.

Disappointing! Some friends recommended it to us, and it's really a shame, I won't be returning. 25 minutes to bring us the menu, having a reserved table. 35 minutes until the drinks were brought, and the waiter rudely asking us to be patient. The carpaccio is very good. The ravioli were scarce, 4 ravioli that only tasted of pepper for 27 euros. Total two people: drinks + carpaccio + 2 plates of ravioli €97 with poor service. We had to get up to pay because after 20 minutes they didn't come. No customer left a tip yesterday. A shame, I hope they improve!

Yes, does that really still exist in Minga!? An Italian you couldn't wish for better! Great menu with dishes you can't find everywhere, very reasonable price/performance ratio. Refreshingly relaxed and yet with the necessary skill served dishes that are completely convincing in terms of taste and also the size of the portions. The wine selection is large and should be sufficient for most guests. We had a really lovely and tasty evening and would love to come back!!!

We celebrated our wedding in the Seelily a few years ago, and now also our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is really great! The taste of the food is excellent, but the portions seem a bit small for the price - especially the dessert. The service was a bit disappointing this time. On the one hand, we received two different cards ("recommendations from the kitchen"), on the other hand, the service didn't seem very friendly - no greeting, no "thank you", no further recommendations - for example for dessert, but rather you were allowed to ask about everything yourself. Given the price, you can expect more here. When it comes to the ambience, I have to talk about the lighting. The lamp above our table had a loose connection. The constant dimming was getting on my nerves.

Last weekend we celebrated a family celebration here and it was sensational! The table, the service, THE food and the attention we received were unique. With the water lily I was able to triumph at my family celebration... Great, great, great and a big compliment for the organization and of course also to the chef! Always my pleasure!

My visit to the Seerose in Munich was a thoroughly positive experience that I am happy to share. I have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant twice with friends and each time we have been thoroughly impressed. The Seerose not only stands out because of its beautiful ambience, but also because of the very friendly and courteous service. What is particularly noteworthy is the flexibility of the kitchen, which easily accommodates small special requests such as a dish without arugula. On the first visit I chose the Fritto Misto as a starter, followed by Tagliata di Filetto di Manzo as my main course. Both dishes were exquisitely prepared, presented in generous portions and impressed with their absolute quality. My friends chose a variety of dishes, from pasta to vitello tonato to fish. Each dish was prepared with great care and was well received by everyone. What really sets the Seerose apart from other restaurants is the combination of quality, service and ambience. Everything seems to be perfectly coordinated here, making the visit an unforgettable experience. Of course, such quality comes at a price, but in this case it is absolutely justified. The dishes, atmosphere and excellent service justify every penny. I can recommend the Seerose in Munich without reservations. For both special occasions and cozy evenings with friends, this restaurant offers just the right amount of elegance, quality and warmth. The positive response from my entire group confirms that the Seerose is a real jewel in Munich's gastronomy scene.

Very very good food. First choice in Schwabing to enjoy Italian, beautiful ambience, sophisticated dishes but also classic ones such as the truffle pasta or vitelo tonato are highly recommended. The New Year's Eve menu 23 was a highlight by the way, great value for money too, thank you very much for that!

Location: it is in a bit quiet area, not easy to find parking, but there are park lot on the same street. (5) Environment: it is a bit classic design, I like the tables along the windows. Good for date. (5) Food: I have nothing to complain about it at all! Went to couple of times and ordered different dishes, everything is excellent!! (5) Service: the stuffs are nice, kind and supportive. (5) Price: it is a normal price for a decent Italy restaurant in Munich. (5) Overall: 5 I will be a regular guest.

I spontaneously went to the restaurant for lunch on Friday and was really excited. I got a great seat by the window, very well maintained and clean, a tasty lunch menu with salad as a starter/side dish, wild mushroom ragout with scampi and parpadelle, and a fruity sorbet as desert: -) Thank you Theresa for the charming service - I also got a parking space directly in front of the restaurant with my bike chinque stelle cara mia Ace-Equipment Munich thanks you for the excellent hospitality ;-)

Bella Italia ... Mediterranean cuisine at a high level and top service - highly recommended.

Food is top. Portion size but at the lower limit. If you're hungry you need two courses and then you're in the price range of €40-50 per person with a drink (no wine, otherwise it's even more expensive).

Actually ended up here by chance and got a table after the Christmas market without a reservation and was thrilled. We felt really comfortable - we just have to go back here...

Das Essen ist gut aber nicht aussergewöhnlich. Der Service ist schnell und für München ziemlich freundlich. Dafür wird aber auch mal das eine oder andere Gericht oder Getränk vergessen. Ansonsten ist das Lokal innen kaum abgetrennt, man sitzt in einer Reihe mit dem Nachbartisch, entsprechend ist die Lautstärke. Bisschen Münchner Schickimicki und recht teuer. Dafür aber nahe am Englischen Garten. Im Sommer sicher schön für einen Spaziergang danach.

Wir, 4 Erw. und 3 Kinder, waren hier zum Abendessen: Gesamtausgaben betrugen ca. 200 EUR. Das Essen (Fisch oder vegetarisch) war tadellos und lecker. Weißwein - kühl und frisch und sehr passend zu den Gerichten. Ambiente ist meiner Meinung nach bescheiden, sieht fast wie eine Kantine aus. Toiletten waren sauber, aber man könnte sie erneuern.

We came on a Friday night at 8 pm, and the restaurant was almost full and busy filled with family groups including babys, couples, friends etc. The acoustics were not good for me, and that is the main reasons for my moderate rating. The Italian food was actually very good and the staff friendly, so I would like to come back for the food. We had hoped to be seated outside, although we had a reservation inside, but the waiter recommended the inside seating due to the threatening heavy rain, and she could not guarantee our inside table, if we chose to seat outside. Luckily we followed her advice, because rain started half an hour later.

Tolles Essen und sehr nette, freundliche Bedienung. Ich komme immer zum Fisch essen und wurde noch nie enttäuscht! Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die unbequemen Stühle im Freien.

Zum ersten Mal hier gewesen und ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal. Sehr freundlicher Service, tolles Ambiente (drinnen wie draußen) und vor allem das Essen war exzellent in der Qualität und Geschmack. Selbst das hausgemachte Brot vorweg ist hervorragend. Alles in allem eine 10/10. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. A la proxima :)

An einem lauen Sommerabend war ich mit einer Freundin hier verabredet. Es handelt sich um ein Eckgebäude, was an beiden Seiten Außenplätze bereit hält. Wir wählten die schmalere Seite mit nur einer Reihe an Tischen. Die Karte war schnell gereicht und die Frage nach Wasser folgte prompt. Aufgrund der Temperaturen wollte ich standhaft bleiben und nur ein Gericht zu mir nehmen. Fällt nicht leicht bei der Auswahl. Wir fanden dann einen Kompromiss. So entschied sich meine Freundin für Vitello Tonnato (17,50 Euro) und ich für Carpaccio Manzo (22 Euro). Als Hauptspeise teilten wir uns die Linguine al Tartufo (23 Euro). Vorab orderte meine Begleitung noch den Cocktail Seerose (8,50 Euro). Hierbei handelte es sich um Erdbeerpüree mit Sekt. Es soll sehr intensiv und tückisch gewesen sein, da der Alkohol nicht vorschmeckte. Vor den Speisen wurde noch frisches Brot teils mit eingebackenen Oliven gereicht. Das Vitello Tonnato war auch der Hauptgrund weswegen meine Freundin das Restaurant in positiver Erinnerung hatte. Sie wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Thunfischsoße tummelte sich unter dem Fleisch und überließ den Auftritt dem zarten Kalbfleisch. Einige Kapern samt Stiel lagen mit einem Blatt Sauerampfer on top. Auf dem dunklen Geschirr eine Augenweide. Der Brotkorb wurde im Übrigen ohne Fragen aufgefüllt. Mein Carpaccio von der Tageskarte vom Simmentaler Rind wurde mit Salat, Feigen, Trüffel und Scamorza gereicht. Mit Augenmaß hätte ich wirklich kein weiteres Gericht gebraucht. Der Teller war im Gegensatz zu dem meiner Freundin sehr gefüllt. Auf dem Fleisch lagen die Käsespäne, der Salat in kleinen Streifen und der Trüffel ebenfalls in kleinen Fetzen. Schade. Den hätte ich in Scheiben erwartet. So fehlte der typische Geschmack, der vermuten läßt, dass es sich hier nicht um frischen Trüffel handelte. Der Käse hätte intensiver sein können. Die Idee war eigentlich gut, aber nicht ganz gelungen. Die Pasta wurde wie gewünscht mit zwei extra Tellern zum Teilen gereicht. Die Portion nicht groß, recht übersichtlich für den in München gewohnt hohen Preis für Trüffelgerichte. Lt. Karte handelt es sich um toskanischen Trüffel, welcher hier in Scheiben gehobelt drapiert war. Dazu eine Käse Creme aus Grana Padano und Schnittlauch. Gefiel mir besser als eine Buttersoße. Insgesamt hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war den ganzen Abend sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Zeer goed Italiaans restaurant waar wij ieder jaar naar terugkeren. Het eten is excellent en de bediening typisch Italiaans.

Wichtige Business-Typen essen mit mir in München gerne in der Seerose Tagliata die Manzo, München. Da zaubert der Koch schon was Feines. Und zum Nachtisch gern die Schokoladenkreation hinterher schieben.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Donato was very generous with his recommendations and our special requests. Truffle pasta was seasoned just right. Seafood dish with fish, shrimp, and octopus was fresh, juicy, delicious! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Munich! (Special thanks to Ben for the lemon shots!)

Tolles Restaurant mit schönem Außenbereich. Wir hatten Glück und haben ohne Reservierung am Donnerstagabend spontan noch einen Platz bekommen. Die Pasta mit Trüffel war super lecker und wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder.

Excellent Italian food and a very friendly service.

Beautifully made linguine with a parmegiano cream and shaved truffles. Wine list is short, but perhaps there is a more extensive one, didn't ask. Nice bead on side, the tiramisu was delicious and on the lighter side.

Leider hat das Restaurant keine konstante Qualität. Wir waren oft enttäuscht in letzter Zeit. Oft ist das Essen nur mittelmäßig. Schade.

Wir waren zuletzt an einem Samstagmittag. Freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen. Wenn es voll ist, kann es zu längerer Wartezeit beim Essen kommen. Der Raum kann auch recht laut werden.

Super leckeres Essen und netter Service. Waren an einem Freitag Abend hier und es war ein schöner Abend. Würden wieder hingehen.
