Just tried to have an expensive lunch here but it wasn't possible. After waiting for 20 minutes with no service, I asked the gentleman behind the counter, who was packing coffee cups away, if we could place an order. He responded, condescendingly, "When I'm done here, I will serve you." So we left and are now spending a lot of money around the corner at Poseidon.

Die Atmosphäre erinnerte eher an eine Kaserne als an ein gemütliches Fast Food Restaurant. Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren unfreundlich, nur der Mann an der Kasse war eine Ausnahme. Wo ich dann ein Wasser mitnahm… Ich bestellte Fisch mit Pommes, doch leider waren die Pommes gerade aus. Als Alternative wurden mir Bratkartoffeln angeboten, die ich jedoch ablehnte. Auf meine Frage, wie lange die Pommes dauern würden, erhielt ich nur die Antwort in einen Kasernen Ton . Musst Zeit haben." Kannst ja Bratkartoffeln nehmen . Diese unhöfliche Reaktion führte dazu, dass ich meinen Fisch nicht mehr wollte und das Restaurant verließ. Ein echter Münchner teilte mir noch mit, dass die Münchener High Society ohnehin nicht bei Nordsee essen würde. Insgesamt war dies eine sehr negative Erfahrung, und ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Andere Wirtshäuser in München bieten deutlich bessere Erlebnisse. Fazit Nie wieder Nordsee. Der Service war unfreundlich und die Atmosphäre unangenehm. Andere Wirtshäuser in München bieten deutlich bessere Erfahrungen.

My experience in particular, the food was good, nothing spectacular, they serve yellow rice that they call paella but nothing to do with a real paella. The worst, the horrible and disgusting service of the cashier, she doesn't speak any English, French or Spanish, and the very rude treatment, I would NEVER return, also a guy blocking a hallway and gets upset because you walk past him, I guess I was drunk, because the worst thing is that he was a Nazi, he did it to everyone who looked like a foreigner, and I clarify, I went to spend euros and see the city, not to stay and live.

Unfriendly staff, especially considering it’s self service Salmon with cheese and spinach was dry and tasteless and looked tired. Fish fillet was decent.

Special and fresh seefood! We enjoyed a lot! All the various fish dish were showed in the cabinet. We ordered a fish soup set, there's fresh fish in the soup. Delicious grilled shrimp, bun and one glass of softdrink. A shrimp salad bowl and the bowl was eatable. It's absolutely special for us, and we like the taste. Three potato cakes with coleslaw. Delicious and you can't find kids not like that! The restaurant is clean with the vibes is just I like, and the WC is at the basement.

Nordsee is the best branch. However, the employees are quite unfriendly and stressed. But he gave me a double portion of tartar sauce, hence 4 stars.

Like the other reviews said: this is a very bad place! Rude and nasty staff! The one in the drink & sea food area, black hair, talk and strong was extremely bad! He was short tempered and shouted for no reason. Felt very bad for that day because him and that place!

We took the food with us - the bag for the food is nothing! This falls apart when worn - be careful! - our food ended up on the floor! Well then…. Enjoy your meal! 🙁

Always great fresh fish, but can get pretty crowded on peak hours, organisation is pretty manageable though, even if everyone stays in their „Bereich“😂, so if you come in from the door where fresh fish is being sold the lady is bound to show little to no interest on showing you where you can order food!

In contrast to McDonald's and Burger King, Nordsee is a very good store where food tastes very tasty and doesn't feel so disgusting

Please train your employees urgently!!! There was some rubbish lying around. When asked about the allergen card, they replied that they didn't know anything and the suggestions were inadequate, which is why there were complaints afterwards. They didn't even know the name of the beer the employees were selling and replied with "Hama not"... Disappointing!

It's a shame that this chain doesn't exist in France, fish and herring served like a fast food restaurant cooked in front of you. large room with communal tables and outdoor terrace on the Viktualienmarkt. Certainly a little more expensive than traditional fast food but certainly healthier.

Very unfriendly staff at the bar counter. Today was the second time that we were spoken to in an unfriendly way and that we were no longer being served today. The sound makes the music. Today was the last time for me here.

The fried potatoes and fish had been lying around for a long time and were no longer tasty. Actually you should dispose of it, but you keep giving it away. Disappointing.

It says: Fish & Chips new recipe, shown in the photo, at a price of just under €8. In my opinion, the price is absolutely excessive for a (small) portion of fries. In addition, the three (?!!) pieces of fish were fried to death. The brief contact with the staff was fine. I know companies that would be ashamed of something like that...

This was our only option in the market as it was Easter Monday but it was not a bad choice. The food was fresh and the service was friendly. A little pricier than outside the market but all a part of the experience of visiting the market.

We travel around the world and try different cuisines in different countries and region. This place tempted us to try their fish, however the experience was devastating. -Not preparing fresh meals.You need to choose fried fish items that are already prepared. -Menu and price are unclear. -Poor customer dealing. -Taste - ordinary -They only want to sell cooked stuff to make money. No ethics. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Worst experience, we travelled Germany for the first time and chose this place to have food. The guys at the fisch-fibel section were so unprofessional. They charged us and forced a meal while we were still enquiring and deciding as the names were in german (not our language). The bald guy was aggitated when we asked how their meal plan works as we wanted to have a drink served at other counter of the same store, not the soft drink. Except for the german posters on the wall, there was no menu to check the items and prices. While we were still deciding other guy decided to sell us a dein fish because that is what we enquired about and told us that because they placed the already prepared fish from the display to the plate they consider it ordered while we did not even touch it. We told the guy that we did not want it as we were still deciding. They forced us to get it and charged us 13.90 euro for small piece of fish, and it was not mentioned anywhere how much it actually costs. We wanted to have a good meal with drinks, but this worst experience spoiled our evening. Not recommended at all!!! Zero stars!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE!! ZERO STARSSS!! Rude people, zero customer dealing skill! We went there for the first time to have lunch and as the menu was in German we had questions (German isn't our language). The people at the counter seemed quite disinterested to explain things and instead forced us a dish that we had to pay for (when we didn't even order it). Also, what we were charged was not even mentioned anywhere so unsure if they charged correctly. Extremely rude encounter on our first day in Munich!! Do yourself a favour and choose another spot to eat. There are other amazing fish stores nearby!!

Not recommended for tourists espically who do not know german. Customer dealing is so poor. We had worst experience and food was also average.

This is the chain fast food restaurant we go to every time we are in Germany, but this time we were not satisfied with the taste at all.

Very unfriendly staff! I wanted to redeem the voucher that you get when you install the app and the extremely unfriendly employee at the street sale simply said that it just wasn't possible after I held the QR code up to her scanner several times. It beeped every time, but this employee didn't even bother to check why the QR code couldn't be read. I normally really enjoy going to Nordsee, but with such unfriendly service I definitely won't be coming back!

Interesting place. First time I see this kind of fast food (fish option). If you want to eat kind of healthy this is a good option.

Decent sea food place in Munich downtown. With lively crowd and variety options. Portions are big and soup is decent The issue is the pace is dirty and unclean may be due to staffing issues The complimentary drink is not full enough. Decent try at Munich city center.

You can have a quick and inexpensive meal

Came here for the fish market, the selection was great and the fish was super fresh! A bit on the pricy side but delicious nonetheless! As for the hot snacks they‘re pretty good the portion is more than satisfactory but sometimes they dont feel as fresh (depends on the day!)

Made to queue for food for 20 mins as staff ignored the increasing line of customers. I pointed this out and was told ‘you have to wait’. Pointless.

Ate, paid deposit and received no bill. I didn't get the deposit back because I wasn't given an invoice.

It's a hoax. I went to self service where I ordered a fish with mushrooms. To drink, water. They gave me sparkling water which I don't like. When the bubbles came I told him I had asked for water. Without gas. They charged me for a premium menu that included soda, fries and contour. They charged me separately for the Coca-Cola. They also charged me for the sparkling water that I refused. The fish was tasty.

Ich hatte kürzlich eine enttäuschende Erfahrung im diesen Nord See . Das Personal war unfreundlich und unkooperativ. Bereits um 19 Uhr versuchten sie, alles einzupacken und verweigerten den Verkauf. Die Schließung ist zwar für 20 Uhr angesetzt, aber es schien, als ob sie es eilig hatten, nach Hause zu gehen. Dies hat meine Erfahrung negativ beeinflusst und ich hoffe, dass das Management dies zur Kenntnis nimmt und entsprechende Maßnahmen ergreift.

Stumbled across this place whilst out Christmas shopping, it’s a fish market with a restaurant in the middle and the fish is cooked in front of you. We had lobster and the fish selection, both of which were enjoyable. It’s not fine ding but just something different

I visited this establishment today, October 18, 2023, and was always pleased. But unfortunately I give a low rating today because I came at 15:00 and they told me that there would be no more fish soup. When I asked for fish fillet with egg, the seller did not give me the fillet I wanted. And with a disappointed look I refused the purchase and am writing a review

Inside the middle of market, All fishes, everything is seafood in store. Easy to order by seeing the photo menu. Taste is good, ordered two fish set meal, with potatoes besides. it’s fresh enough! Eat inside while not in peak hours, or hard to find vacancy.

Sehr gute französische Austern und Langustenschwänze an der Bar. Tanja und ihr Koch waren sehr nett und freundlich.

Alles in allem gutes Essen, solide und schmackhaft und relativ günstig für Fisch. Als die Öffnungszeit sich dem Ende zuneigt, schenkt mir der Mitarbeiter noch einen Salat.

Já havia lido sobre esse lugar em Bruxelas, mas, ficava um pouco fora do roteiro. Aí, encontramos em Munique, sensacional. Você escolhe o peixe ou frutos do mar, e o prato é preparado na hora. Gostamos bastante.

Verkäuferin war total unfreundlich der Fisch war kalt total vertrocknet. Die Bratkartoffeln brettl hart , und der Kartoffelsalat, als käme er gerade aus dem Gefrierschrank .

Die Nordsee am Viktualienmarkt lebt vermutlich von der Überfüllung des gegenüberliegendem Viktualienmarktbiergarten. Das Essen ist typisch Nordsee. Die Toiletten werden sehr gerne von den Marktbesuchern genutzt. Mir fällt eigentlich kein Grund ein, warum ich am Viktualienmarkt nun ausgerechnet hier essen sollte.

The "Küstenbackfisch Baguette", which I bought was unfortunately cold. Not that I expected it to be warm, but a cold Backfisch-Semmel is not the most tasty one.

Questo locale al Viktualienmarkt appartiene all'omonima storica catena "Nordsee" (nata con i propri pescherecci) presente in tutta la Germania. E' un'ottima alternativa se si vuole mangiare del salmone o altro pesce alla griglia o panato. C'é la zona tavola calda con la possibilitá di opzione menú (pesce+contorno+bibita sui 13€) In questa sede poi c'é anche la pescheria e l'angolo bistrot con piatti piú ricercati. Ideale per una rapida pausa pranzo, 4stelle all'ambiente perché rimane in ogni caso una tavola calda nella quale é pensato di trattenersi il tempo di mangiare e non per passare ore in compagnia

Seafood is fresh. Quite a good variety of seafood available. For the portion, it is quite little for 25 Euros. The fish fillet could be bigger.

Fish sandwich had a single, small salad leaf and a tiny amount of sauce. Okay taste overall.

Wir haben Austern bestellt. Diese wurden nicht auf Eis serviert, wie überall in Europa üblich. Auf Frage nach Eiswürfeln, sagte der Mitarbeiter, die Nordsee serviert nicht auf Eis, es ist kein Eis dafür da. Die Austern waren zimmerwarm uns ausgetrocknet. Übrigens, das Baguette wurde extra bestellt (wurde nicht angeboten) und war leider nicht getoastet, wie gewünscht.

Se si vuole mangiare qualcosa di alternativo ai vari (buonissimi) wurst, questo posto va benissimo: ci sono oltre che piatti di pesce anche il salad menù (circa 12 €) che consiste in un' insalata mista con gamberetti e bibita. Bello l'esterno nel pieno del Viktualienmarkt.
