Coffee was cold, caramael great, vegan milk great, seats uncomfortable and cold outside (stone), customer service and aesthetics are a 10/10

After eating, you will understand how experienced and skillful the kitchen chef is. Breakfast is 10/10. Prices are normal. The atmosphere is quite good.

The food was really tasty, unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The staff was unfriendly, incompetent and the service was extremely slow. It's a shame because the food has potential, but unfortunately the service experience mars it.

A superficial waitress who served outside, she was totally unfriendly and spoke to me very rudely, even though I only asked her how much the drinks were. With her behavior and street slang towards the customers she is just out of place. Luckily there are alternatives, I will never visit you again.

Very nice reception, the waiter took drinks and everything was good, including the food. But the waiter couldn't be found and I called a waitress standing around and asked if she could take our food. I then greeted her because she didn't. If a waitress with a migrant background cannot greet me, I see this as rejection of myself and will leave the shop in the future. Well, we didn't do it, then she asked us if we wanted something to drink, even though we had only just received our drinks. I don't want to say anything more about it. Food was good. Male waiters were also very nice and polite. Menu very nice with pictures, the food looked exactly the same, great.

I was there on Saturday, we waited 45 minutes for food and it was very expensive. Outrageous, not recommended!

As a starter there was baked feta, which was served with the main course. For almost 14 euros, I found the portion to be very small and the consistency of the feta was more like halloumi and also very neutral in taste, which is something I don't really know about this one. The cheese wasn't very warm either. The accompanying rolls were very tasty. The main course, a burger with spinach and eggplant patty, was half lukewarm and the other half was already cold. The bun is very dry and firm. This would definitely have tasted good warm. (The colleague's classic patty was well-done and looked more like frozen goods, which is probably why they didn't ask about the cooking level.) The fries were tasty, but not really very warm either. Portion size was okay. In general it seemed as if everything had stood for 5 minutes before it was brought to the table. What was definitely positive was the friendly staff, clean toilets and the fact that you get a free beer if you order a 0.5l. For me the visit was too poor value for money and will probably not be repeated.

Aside from the fact that the fries were way too salty, the food was still delicious. The service could seem happier, it doesn't cost much effort...

The breakfast was good and there was nothing wrong with the quality. Both the drinks and the food were good. But your prices are steep! 11€ for a piece of cheesecake with a bit of lotus and ice cream? €5.90 for a latte? Today we paid €78 for breakfast, 2 smoothies & coffee. When the bill came I almost fell off the bench.. sorry but that should definitely be revised again. It was definitely not worth almost €80

The food at Big Chefs was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and the selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired. Everything we tried was fresh and deliciously prepared. However, there was one situation that bothered us a bit. We noticed that an employee from Turkey, who obviously did not yet speak perfect German, was inappropriately reprimanded by a colleague in front of the guests. Comments like "Senin Almancana ediyim ben. Almanca öğren bi zahmet" are not only disrespectful, but should never be uttered in front of customers. Everyone deserves to work in a respectful work environment and such matters should be resolved internally and in a constructive manner. Despite this incident, we really enjoyed our visit and would like to come back. However, we hope that management will handle such situations better in the future to ensure a positive working atmosphere for all employees.

The food is absolute convenience. Burger with a sticky, chewy bun, only sauce and patty, no salad or vegetables. Pattie pressed from some smoked meat. The knife was so blunt that you probably couldn't even cut butter with it. Absolutely no recommendation. Better go further up the promenade!

Everything is good but the only thing missing is the inexperience of the waiters.. If you ask for an account, it won't come.. You want to eat, there is no fork or spoon You want tea, sweet tea will come when it gets cold.. A little warning is required..

Big Chefs offers good food in an appealing atmosphere, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The service was friendly, but often inattentive and slow. There was a lack of personal support, which somewhat marred the overall experience. With better service there would definitely be more – so it stays at 3 stars.

The restaurant is about 1 year old and made a good impression. Nice interior and nice outdoor area. The staff was friendly and the waiting time was ok too. I ordered a BBQ burger for €18 including fries. I didn't take the photo because the burger wasn't worth it! The patty was definitely industrial! And it tasted the same, or didn't taste good at all. A little sauce and nothing else! No lettuce, let alone tomatoes, cucumber and whatever else goes on a burger. For that money I could also go to one of the usual burger joints, which wouldn't be my thing either. Really disappointing and definitely the first and last visit. It's a shame about the money and the time. My wife's punch wasn't convincing either. No recommendation!

We went there with great joy and hunger, unfortunately small and simple portions, no creativity, the food tastes like nothing, none. seasoning. No bread with spread, everything costs extra as a side dish. The main menu is quite overpriced and you still aren't full. Finally, a big bill and disillusionment, once and not again. Food inedible, cold, tasted like nothing. Very disappointing. Has nothing to do with Turkish cuisine/food. Fast food chain and that's how it tastes. The location inside and outside is really great and cozy. Unfortunately, the service is also completely overwhelmed. The table was still dirty from the previous guest and the old cutlery was still on it. Only after asking three times did you get something new even though the food was already in front of you. Never again!

Although we waited for so long, the boss's friends got the table priority. I have never eaten such a bad chicken skewer in my life. Behind our table, the Turkish coffee was served on a tray with decorations and water; we were only given a coffee. Unfortunately we were not satisfied and will not be coming back.

This is a complete disaster! The first visit left a pleasant impression, but today it was like this, they didn't bring us a menu, we had to bring it ourselves, the kitchen order was not accepted because it was closing time, but we arrived on time, It's the staff's problem that it didn't do its job, the next table also ordered food without any problems, the height of unprofessionalism, that's the bill, we ordered a cocktail, but the bill also included beer, which we didn't order. Our visit to this restaurant during a European Championship game was very disappointing. The service was unfriendly and disorganized. We had to wait a long time and the waitress responded to our questions in an annoyed manner. The food was lukewarm and tasted disappointing. The atmosphere was also unpleasant and the staff seemed irritable. What was particularly disturbing was the feeling of being treated differently because of our skin color and my friend's headscarf. Half full shop, waited 40 minutes for a drink at 30 degrees. Chicken schnitzel was too small. Not enough potato salad. The price is high for a half-full, not so convincing plate. Several waiters serve a table, which is why misunderstandings and mistakes constantly occur. Ambiance is nice and spacious. Waiters are friendly but unfortunately that's not enough. It's a shame but it was also the first and last time.

First time in the restaurant. Chicken skewers first arrived raw. The second time it came through and was completely dry. Chicken and fries were covered in BBQ sauce and you couldn't really taste anything. Salad was without onions, just with rocket salad and a little pepper. The prices are also very high. The service took a long time. Drinks arrived quickly, but we waited almost 40 minutes for food considering it wasn't very busy. A burger without bacon was ordered - arrived with bacon. It can happen... when we ordered a new one, the old burger came back - THAT'S A NO-GO! There are also some people who have allergies and then they assure you that it's new... I'm sorry, but both burgers had the same fatty burn on the edge. Exactly identical. Ambiance was nice - spatial design is nice. Too much to ask for in terms of price. No goodbye - what a shame.

I especially liked the Caprese Pizza and the Homemade Lemonade. You should definitely try the baklava too.

Bowls are served cold except for the (chicken) meat, although the taste of cold, oily mushrooms and cold, sticky sweet potato slices is not for everyone. Despite asking, it was not possible to warm up. Plates are half full. Not worth repeating for me. Disagreements between the operating staff are also openly discussed at the expense of a lack of attention for the guests. Lack of toilet paper forces female guests to misuse available towels.

The owner is the most successful business woman in Turkey, but she is rich with the rights of her employees. Do not go for the classic one. Small portions are expensive and tasteless anyway.

Well located in the Centro, it's easy to sit inside and outside. The first waitress was very friendly and took the order. Unfortunately the steaks were not cooked as ordered. When the waitress asked about it, she wanted to tell the kitchen. When we asked another waitress for the bill, she just shrugged her shoulder - unfortunately she didn't understand German. The first waitress noticed this and brought the bill out of the kitchen without any deduction or apology.

Service is very bad (re-orders are hardly possible because the table is no longer taken into account after the first order is taken, cutlery is handed out at some point after the food has already been served, some tables are not clean and you have to ask for them to be cleaned, some of them just stand there somehow and have to be addressed explicitly -> sometimes you had to walk to the service). The food was ok, but some of the ingredients listed on the menu were missing from the burgers (e.g. jalapenos). It was an experience we could all do without -> therefore never again.

Six of us ate here. SteakBurger, Manti, Pide, Beef Bowl etc. Everything really tasted great and the service was super nice and very friendly. Definitely my first choice in Centro Oberhausen from now on. 🤗

Very very nice staff. We always enjoy great food, especially the restaurant chef from Antalya even told us the ingredients. Finally a restaurant from Turkey that is extravagant.

For the first time at Bigchefs and I have to say, the food was absolutely great: fries with chicken schnitzel and the homemade lemon and strawberry lemonade. I have never eaten better and the food was ready quickly. The people here are super nice and helpful. Since we ate outside in the winter garden and the weather was great, we were able to enjoy our time here in a meaningful way. Ps: the robot was the icing on the cake that made the stay perfect. All in all, I would recommend everyone to eat here and see for themselves the quality and friendliness of this atmosphere.

The service was poor, the food and the price/performance ratio wasn't right

It's disappointing when you come for breakfast and find that half of the items on offer are out of stock. In addition, it is frustrating that warmed-up burger buns from the previous day are served instead of fresh bread, especially at a price of over €32. For such high prices I expect appropriate quality and variety, which unfortunately is not the case here.

The service was very unfriendly. We were only able to place half of our order because the waiter had to leave urgently. He also said that he would be back with us immediately. However, he didn't come anymore. When we called him after 20 minutes, he asked us what we wanted since we had already ordered. I told him that he only took half of our order and that we would like to have something to drink too. He then became very unfriendly, loud and started telling us the dishes we had ordered. That's why we decided to eat somewhere else. Very sad!!

It was cold and there was a massive draft! We then asked the waiter to close the window a little, which was then done. A great experience in itself, we were warmly welcomed by Elif at the entrance and she and Ahmet served us really well. All in all we can give it a 10/10 and of course we would love to come back! A big thank you again to Elif and Ahmet!!

We recently visited Big Chefs for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. We haven't had such good service in a long time. Elif and Ahmet were very accommodating and fulfilled our every wish. Normally I would say that unfortunately a service like this no longer exists, but with Big Chefs it turned out to be completely different. My children were served very warmly and nicely by Elif and got along really well with her. We will be back definitely. Thanks for the great experience!

Today I was there with my family and it was very tasty. I would like to thank everyone who works there, especially Haya. She was really nice and personable I recommend everyone to go to this restaurant because it is very clean and serves very tasty food and has good treatment.

I ordered the BBQ burger. The pattie was frozen or separated meat and the fries were soft. My colleague got something other than his requested dish. As compensation he was offered hummus, which was still charged. In addition, the toilet was very dirty. Overall the experience was disappointing and not comparable to the standards of Bigchefs in Turkey.

We had dinner there today. The atmosphere is really nice. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't understand us at all... I wanted apple juice for my son, unfortunately it was apple spritzer after the 4th time he asked. The fries were totally salty and greasy and the burger was ok, but without salad and without jalapenjos, as described. The pizza didn't taste good either. The prices are excessive, we paid €63 for 3 people. My son couldn't finish the pizza and we took the leftovers with us. These were carelessly stuffed into a plastic bowl. Really stuffed......

Since my last visit a year ago, I unfortunately noticed that the team has apparently changed. Unfortunately, the choice of food was reduced while the prices were unreasonably high. I had a super delicious, refreshing drink, Ginger G with green apple and ginger, very refreshing. The chicken in curry sauce was subtly spicy, very tasty, as was the rice with it. Ersin served me very attentively, then unfortunately had a break, which meant that I wasn't served in that time, so I had difficulty getting my dessert because the kitchen was closed. It would have been a real shame to miss this dessert. I travel a lot, but I've never had baklava like this anywhere. Crunchy, not too sweet, not too fattening, super delicious taste with a scoop of ice cream on the side. You absolutely have to eat this!!!

We had breakfast there before we went to the gasometer. The breakfast for two was super delicious and really enough for 2. We also bought a latte and a cafe. It was beautifully prepared, see photo. The ambience is really nice and the toilet was very clean. I can only recommend.

Catastrophe! The waitresses didn't know which drinks belonged to which table, didn't ask what side dish we wanted and only came to us at the end of the meal to ask if we wanted ketchup. The food is totally overpriced and we didn't get full! To top it off, waitresses argued loudly next to our table and verbally insulted other customers because they wanted to be served. Never again!

Very difficult thing here, as hardly any of the employees understand German. We ordered two cappuccinos and received two cups of coffee from the fully automatic machine with a dash of milk. The drinks only tasted like very strong espresso. We complained about the drinks and returned them. After that we left. A cappuccino never comes from a fully automatic machine. In addition, a cappuccino is not served in a normal coffee cup and certainly not without steamed milk. The cappuccino in this restaurant costs an impressive €4.80. That's way overpriced for vending machine crap.

Today I was a guest at BIG CHEFS in Oberhausen. To my extreme delight, I had the privilege of being served by the waitress Mida/Mewlüde. It was an incredible experience that no restaurant has ever been able to give me. Not to mention the service of the enchanting waitress Mewlüde, who always served us with her enchanting friendliness and joie de vivre. With her you can simply tell that she doesn't do her job for the money but for the fun with her customers. What their funny sayings and jokes have always underlined. All in all, it is definitely highly recommended and worth more than just a visit.

I went to Big Chefs with a friend and can only recommend it. Waitress Nicole took our orders lovingly and asked several times if everything was OK. We drank a ginger lemonade and a coconut-melon iced tea, and we also had a BBQ & cheese burger and a Big Big Burger. There were also fries and several sauces placed on the table where we could help ourselves to plenty. There's nothing to complain about in terms of price because the portions were pretty big for us too. The food and drinks came very quickly and you have to say that there wasn't much going on when we were there.
