Very tasty food and friendly staff.

We waited almost 45 minutes for the main course. The salad beforehand was actually quite good, but the meat in the main course was barely edible. The service was friendly, but as a young guest, I felt somewhat patronized.

We ate there on Christmas Day. Our reservation was for 12 noon, we were all there on time, and we had a two-hour time slot. The restaurant was crammed with tables, every inch of space was filled, in an attempt to fit in as many people as possible. As a result, we were sitting very close together. It was almost impossible to move. If someone sitting closer to the wall needed to use the restroom, everyone else would have had to get up, as there wasn't even room to move back. We had booked a table for 11 people plus a toddler, for whom we needed a highchair. The highchair only arrived after I asked for one. It took 30 minutes before the menu arrived and our order was taken. After the starter soup, which arrived quickly but was only lukewarm, not hot, it took an hour for the main course to arrive. Even that was mostly just lukewarm. It tasted good, but I prefer my food served hot. ... Ordering dessert was no longer possible, as we were told we only had 10 minutes and the next guests were already waiting. We then asked for the bill, which didn't arrive at first. Instead, we were again told we had to leave. We made it clear that we would have left by the time we were allowed to pay. The bill was then handed to us, and we left. For next year, the owner should focus on fewer tables and better service. The kitchen also needs better organization, because if you only have two hours, it should be possible to eat three courses in that time. This is certainly achievable with proper kitchen preparation.

We were there on Christmas Day and had a 2 pm time slot. We got a table near the door and were freezing the whole time. The prices for the food were raised especially for Christmas, and the restaurant's capacity was far exceeded. The result: uncomfortable, cold, food worse than usual, food more expensive than usual, waiting and annoyed customers, etc. Pure greed ruined our Christmas dinner. For us, that was the last time!

Good, tasty food in a pleasant atmosphere

We ate out today on the first public holiday; it was very busy, so we had a reservation. The owner, the waiters, and the chefs are fantastic! Everything tasted absolutely delicious. We were at your restaurant between 12 pm and 2 pm and had a reservation for that time slot. Despite this clearly defined time frame, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. After placing our order, we had to wait approximately 1.5 hours for our food, which is completely unacceptable for a stay of only two hours. During this time, the service was barely noticeable. We were only able to order drinks once at the beginning. Ordering another drink was only possible by sheer luck, as hardly anyone seemed to care and there was practically no attention at our table. In addition, there was a severe draft at our table, making it consistently uncomfortable to sit there. The service did nothing to address this. When the food was finally served, the disappointment was immense. While the taste of the ordered dishes was acceptable, it in no way justifies the extremely long wait. Furthermore, about two-thirds of the dishes were only lukewarm, and the steak we ordered was completely overcooked, even though we had ordered it cooked differently. No one from the staff asked if everything was alright, nor did they offer any assistance. In addition, there was no inquiry from us as to whether everything was satisfactory, nor was there any attempt by the staff to accommodate us. Overall, this visit fell far short of expectations. The restaurant failed to impress in both its organization and quality. Especially during lunchtime, between 12 and 2 pm, a smooth service should be a given. Unfortunately, this was not the case here.

Update: Christmas Eve! Roast goose and wild boar – delicious and more than enough. I just had a perfectly chilled König Pilsner outside. Service and price were good!

After a long break due to bad experiences in the past, we decided to give this restaurant another try today. The service was attentive and friendly, and the menu was quite appealing. However, the quality of the dishes we ordered varied considerably depending on how they arrived at our table. One poultry dish was unfortunately undercooked and only became edible on the second attempt. The overall taste was rather average. The soup of the day was a definite highlight. The restrooms were modern and adequate, but the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible.

My absolute favorite dish is onion rump steak! In summer, you can eat and drink outside. The service is great, and I always enjoy going there.

Nice place, relatively straightforward menu. The service is good and unobtrusive. When the weather's nice, you can sit in the beer garden. So, thumbs up.

We ate there with our wedding party (13 people) on Friday. The service was wonderfully friendly! Everyone enjoyed the food! Main course and dessert 😋 It made our day perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant!

After 20 minutes, we had to call for permission to order two main courses. They arrived at our table an hour later, without service and without a word of apology. The veal schnitzel was small and had a sloppy coating, greasy fried potatoes, and greasy chanterelle mushrooms. Vegetable plates were sometimes cold with a fried egg slapped on top. A culinary high point...

I had seasonal vegetables with hollandaise sauce. The vegetables were lukewarm, on a cold plate. You had to look closely to find the hollandaise sauce. There was a fried egg on the plate, which I would have preferred without it, and I hadn't ordered any croquettes either. I would have preferred fresh, hot vegetables with a generous amount of sauce, after all, that's what I ordered. It's a shame; I wouldn't recommend it, especially since the wait times were very long. We were only allowed to place our orders after asking, and we waited forever for the food and the bill.

It was too busy to cook a proper steak. It was just too dry and rock hard.

It used to be better, the wheat beer was stale and not fresh and the food was little, the meat was lukewarm to cold and there were a handful of fries.

The food was absolutely delicious. You sit at an intersection, but since it's surrounded by bushes and hedges, it's fine!

We wanted to eat there after a walk with our dog. I asked the waiter if I could get some water for the dog, to which he replied that he didn't have a container to fill it with water. And he didn't know where the dog bowl was. This was so rude that we left.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the positive reviews. I had a rump steak with pepper sauce and beans. The steak was very thin and overcooked, and the flavor was absolutely not good. The pepper sauce was a watered-down, ready-made sauce. The beans were cold, and the bacon in them was more or less raw. The best thing on the plate were the croquettes. Even the beer wasn't really cold and had little carbonation. The menus were dirty and some were already falling apart. Unfortunately, my visit there was a complete disaster.

Always happy to come back. Today, we went for dinner very spontaneously with four people. Four different dishes, all of them delicious. Drinks, from beer to coffee, Aperol, and espresso, were all perfect. I highly recommend it. The nice gentleman who served us the entire time was simply amazing; always friendly and very accommodating. The gentleman was alone the entire time we were there, and no one had to wait long.

Very friendly and good price level

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance after a dog walk in the Rotbach Valley. The beer garden could use a bit of sprucing up. The food was excellent, and the service was good too. I haven't had such a delicious Balkan dish in a long time. Even with three dogs, it was no problem at all to have a good time there.

In the kitchen, more emphasis should be placed on sauces and side dishes. Despite the variety of dishes and the differences in the sauces, the sauces were recognizable as a standard, powdered sauce. Individual additions were chosen sparingly. The side dishes were the same for different dishes. There was a lack of creativity here.

And now the negatives: the portions are too small for the price. Yes, other restaurants in this category are more expensive, but they come with a salad from the buffet and a lot more on your plate.

We have had dinner here a total of 5 times and have experienced light and shadow. Exactly what was ordered was delivered twice and was very tasty with friendly and fast service. Unfortunately, the service was completely overwhelmed 3 times, the wrong food was brought and they didn't even apologize for it. What made us stop visiting the restaurant is that last time the grilled feta we ordered had nothing to do with the actual dish. A tasteless cheese substitute was served without saying a word about it, and of course the normal price was charged. It's a shame about the restaurant, which is actually in a nice location.

Recommended Balkan restaurant: well prepared and tasty. Absolute no-go: The entrance is in a bay window of the facade. This area, protected from the wind and covered, is used by staff and guests as a smoking area. This means that every new guest has to go through this smoking den and brings a good bit of ashtray smell and smoke into the guest room. Which host tolerates something like that?

We were there at short notice on Saturday and for the first time. My family is completely thrilled. Also my relatives from Hamburg. Compliment. We dined very well. Sitting fine. We were able to have a great time even though it was very busy. Service tip top. Super friendly. Therefore 5 stars in all areas.

Had on December 24th. Reserved a table and looked at the menu online in advance. With anticipation, we showed up on time and were presented with a reduced menu, understandably for the Christmas season. Unfortunately, not a single vegetarian dish was offered. When asked, it was only with difficulty and with the involvement of another waiter that a "composition" of vegetables with croquettes and potatoes was suggested, to which I then agreed. I was handed a very clear plate, each with 2 croquettes and 2 potatoes, some vegetables, with a strip of light sauce. Unfortunately, we didn't get full while everyone else got really good portions. I find it really astonishing that there are still restaurants today where vegetarians are disrespected in this way. As a vegetarian, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty food. Good lunch menu and good menu. Nice ambience, friendly staff and fast service. Grill plate was just the right amount and tasty. The medallions were on point and delicious too. Cinnamon mascarpone for dessert (see photo). We'd love to come back.

Pan Hirschkamp: the meat was good, as were the fried potatoes. You searched in vain for the chanterelles, instead there were mushrooms from a jar, the sauce was more convinience than freshly cooked. I would have liked some vegetables or salad on the side.

I often eat here with my parents and, as always, we are blown away. Price/performance is outstanding. You really can't complain about the price as it's really good value for money. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is at a high level. In my opinion, there is something here for young and old. It is also a successful change from all the newfangled restaurant chains that only work on “quick, quick, quick”. All in all, I support this traditional restaurant and can recommend it to everyone.

I cannot agree with the positive descriptions. The staff was friendly but very hectic. We could have returned the food. We (4 people) were all disappointed. The meat was fried to death, the liver was grilled poorly or not at all and was stringy and there was a lot of skimping on sauces. And the salad came from the bag with ready-made dressing. This restaurant is no longer an option for us.

Friendly, thoughtful service; A starter soup is served with the delicious food on the lunch menu, unfortunately no small dessert. We chose the mixed 'lunch plate', one with fish, one with meat. Only the French fries in the meat version were a bit too hard and no mayonnaise was served, Aivar was deliciously spicy. Washroom found clean. Definitely worth further visits.

Table was ordered in advance. The photos of the dishes provided are exaggerated. The portions are significantly smaller. Steaks were much smaller than 200g. After we mentioned this in a friendly manner, we were virtually overlooked by the staff.

The dishes were tasty, but too expensive for the portion size. Some of the service staff did not respond to us, but contradicted us when we pointed out the lack of carbon dioxide in the beer or when we wanted to position the high chair differently than the service staff wanted. The rooms have close seating, so you don't want to linger longer than necessary.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the owners are really strange. Were there at least once a week, celebrated every birthday there and were always treated like friends. Unfortunately today we weren't recognized, we weren't greeted as always and there wasn't a farewell schnapps either. Unfortunately they were treated like strangers. Really strange, we won't come back for a while...

Overall it was okay. Unfortunately the restaurant is not air conditioned. When it's 31 degrees outside, it's almost unbearable inside. The food was quite tasty. The service staff was divided into two parts. When it came to eating, everything went very quickly and everything you wanted was served. At a late hour, glasses were no longer cleared away and the staff became a bit rude. Maybe it was the heat, but I still see room for improvement when you have a large group of guests who also ate and drank properly.

I had dinner there for the first time last night. Had my little dog with me. The first thing he got was a bowl of water. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The menu has a good selection from all countries, so there is something for everyone and first-class preparation. There were no long waiting times between courses, despite the full house and everything was really tasty and not overpriced. Everything great. It wasn't the last time I was there.
