Old car hoods hanging from the ceiling, half a Golf 2 used as a lamp above the pool table – visually stunning, good food. Quiet during the week, I imagine it gets a bit crowded on weekends, but worth a visit. I'll be back.

A must for every petrolhead, car enthusiast, and of course, every burger fan...because here you'll find the ultimate combination of those well-known tuned cars and high-quality fast food at a very respectable level...the burgers are highly recommended, the fries are rather thin but perfectly suited to the meal deal with a cold drink...and I think this clientele really likes those fries...the location and atmosphere are top-notch...the vehicles on display are incredibly interesting...and it's great that there's always a change of cars...so regular visits always make you want to see something new...oh yes...the usual and acceptable wait time varies greatly depending on the day and time of your visit...but the service is efficient and relatively quick.

Despite the nearly one-hour wait, everything was great! And huge respect to JP for everything he's accomplished.

In my opinion, it's not worth the time to wait in line here (it took us 40 minutes). The "best currywurst in the world" is just a bland sausage covered in Hela ketchup and not even with curry powder. The burgers are okay, but nothing special.

The burger was outstanding: a juicy patty, perfectly melted cheese, fresh ingredients, and a sauce that hits the spot. The quality and taste are clearly above average. In short: top-notch food, a great atmosphere, and a well-rounded experience. If you love burgers and are looking for something special, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back.

Amazing atmosphere! Worth a visit for that alone. My food was practically perfect, superb quality. The staff was extremely friendly. The only downside... I personally found communication a little difficult when ordering; the music and surroundings were simply louder than what was being said, at least to my ears. But no big deal! ✌🏻

It's kind of a must-see in Dortmund, a true automotive mecca. BUT: they also serve fantastic burgers, which, in my opinion, are second to none. I've been there a few times now, from empty to packed, and you can always find a seat. A few more seats would be nice, yes... but it still works. Parking... well, it's Dortmund – you'll find a spot, and so far I haven't had any major problems, whether right in front of the building or nearby... that works too. Food-wise, I simply have to say it's top-notch! 👌

The burger restaurant from Europe's biggest automotive influencer lives up to all the hype. JP has created a beautiful and meticulously planned concept. The restaurant has a rustic industrial look, the burgers are of excellent quality, the portions are generous, and the higher prices are absolutely justified.

What did I expect from a 4.8-star restaurant with 21,000 reviews? A really good burger and the kind of thing you usually see online. What did I get? A really good burger. Really good fries. Lots and lots of really good fries, in fact. And, in true American style, as much mayo and ketchup in little packets as you could possibly need to be happy. A drink and, thanks to the €2 deposit, a little souvenir. The ambiance isn't exactly romantic for a first date, unless you're both die-hard JP fans or car fanatics. But everything was clean. I do have one request, though: if they have a vegan burger on the menu, vegan mayo would be fantastic. Especially considering that they only offer vegan options now. Since we were allowed to use our own vegan mayo, I'm not deducting any points for that. However, anyone looking for gluten-free options will have a very hard time here.

Big Boost Burger always offers fresh and delicious burgers and other treats. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere is unique and a must for car enthusiasts.

The price/performance ratio is excellent here. The burgers are delicious (the best you can get in Germany!), and the portions are more than generous for the price. (My wife can never actually finish all the fries ;) ) The service is always friendly, and the wait time between ordering and receiving the food is perfectly acceptable. I only have one suggestion for improvement. Instead of the staff having to call out the order numbers (which you sometimes can't hear immediately when it's busy), the completed order numbers could be displayed on one of the monitors. The atmosphere has something for everyone (not just car enthusiasts). Keep up the good work, and see you very soon!

To get straight to the point, I'm not a fanboy or anything like that of JP, but I have the utmost respect for what he considers quality. Whether it's the food, the attention to detail in the decor, or the super friendly staff. I've been to some high-end burger joints, and I have to say, the burgers at Big Boost Burger were easily in the top three, if not the top two. The price-performance ratio is excellent 👍🏻 The stopover was definitely worth it. Keep it up! 👍🏻

I was there during the trade fair week, so it was obviously busy, and I waited a total of 30 minutes. The burger and fries were freshly prepared. The guys at the register were very friendly and patient.

You can immediately tell that quality and craftsmanship are paramount here. The side dishes are equally impressive. The super-friendly and attentive staff deserves special mention. You feel instantly welcome; the service is quick, professional, and relaxed – just the right mix. Another plus is the fair pricing for the quality, portion size, and overall experience. That was probably the best burger I've ever eaten. Highly recommended. The atmosphere around the scene was also very well done. (Even though I don't normally have anything to do with car tuning or car enthusiasts.) It was an awesome experience all around!

We were here right after the Essen Motor Show (and on a Saturday, no less). So it was packed and there were long lines. Despite that, everything ran surprisingly smoothly. The team is highly professional, extremely efficient, and consistently friendly. The food was outstanding and worth every single bite. The atmosphere is unique, not least because of the cars on display, which you usually only see in YouTube videos and are suddenly right there in person. The entire concept is meticulously thought out. I would eat here again anytime.

This was our second visit. Since I've had this burger, I know how "bad" all other burgers are. We'll be back.

Picked up our new Porsche from the Porsche Center and stopped here on the way back (recommended by a Porsche Center employee). It made the day perfect. The burgers were incredibly delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly. It's a shame we're not from Dortmund, otherwise we'd be here every week!

For my taste, the buns lack flavor, but otherwise everything is really great.

A super delicious burger with a fantastic bun. The bun simply doesn't tear, making the burger so easy to eat. The fries are also very tasty. A well-rounded concept with an open kitchen where they work very cleanly. The staff was very friendly. The cars create a very appealing atmosphere. The seating area is very basic, but perfectly adequate and in keeping with the concept. The option to play a round of pool is especially cool.

I went to Dortmund with my girlfriend for my birthday and checked everything out. I could write a whole post about it, but this is the short version. 30-minute drive there 45-minute wait at 9 pm 😄 3 minutes of super friendly service 15-minute preparation time It was annoying... 30-minute drive back The burger was almost cold again. Cinnamon rolls were already waiting. This amazing special was so incredibly delicious that I won't be going back to McDonald's or Burger King, except maybe for some chicken thing. But you can only get a real burger in Dortmund. I ate the second burger the next day on the way home and shared it because it perfectly rounded off the whole Dortmund trip! Thanks a lot! We'll definitely be back. Edit after the new video: The extra euro for the meal or burger is perfectly acceptable and understandable. I've been to several burger places here in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein, eaten more expensive burgers, and yours was the best so far. I'll even let you know I paid more for the price/performance ratio, because I was with you!

Highly recommended, I had the "Verd. GLN Special Burger." It was really good, with a decent-sized bun and tasty meat. I also thought the price was fair. The fries were rather average. Service was very quick. I was able to park right outside at noon on a Tuesday and even charge my car at the lamppost. There's also a 300kW charging station from EnBW. You can look around while you wait. They call out your number. They quickly refunded the deposit for the cup. The atmosphere is very nice, and everything is very clean.

If you're in Dortmund and want to eat good burgers, this is the best place. Plus, the atmosphere is fantastic for car enthusiasts. I'll definitely be back.

An iconic place and a must-visit when you’re in Düsseldorf! The exhibition is amazing, the music is great, the service is fast, and the whole experience is on a completely different level. That said, the burger patties weren’t among the best I’ve had in terms of meat quality, but the overall experience is absolutely worth it.

We were at Big Boost Burger on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM. There was no event going on that weekend or any other happening nearby, yet we still waited almost exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes before we could pick up our food. I don't understand why, after all these years and knowing that the place is very busy, especially on weekends or when there are events nearby, they haven't installed a second cash register or expanded the kitchen. The employee who took our order seemed very friendly. However, the employee who handed out the orders to the customers was very unfriendly when we asked. He snapped at us, as if we'd already asked ten times, "They're right there on the table!" The only thing to complain about with the burger was that the bacon was cold. The entire burger restaurant is very dark.

During a bachelor road trip, we wanted to stop by JP's for a quick visit. It offers a fantastic atmosphere for car enthusiasts. However, the delicious lunch was unanimously the highlight. I've rarely eaten such a tasty burger! The staff served the queue quickly and courteously, so everyone was able to eat after 10-12 minutes. On the way back, we even made a special trip through the Ruhr area just for the burgers.

The meal was a truly enjoyable experience.

This is the burger place. The taste is top-notch. Just be prepared to wait a while during peak times like the Ems festival, but the food is definitely worth it.

In our opinion, one of the best burgers we've ever eaten. A clear menu, reasonable prices. Right now, during the EMS (European Championships), things are going really well considering the number of visitors. The queues are incredibly long, but you don't actually have to wait very long. No chaos, and no one is unfriendly. Great team, awesome job! Respect!

The concept is clear: high-quality ingredients, fast preparation, and an intense taste experience. The burgers impress with their high-quality meat and fresh, crisp toppings. The ratio of bun, meat, and sauce is perfectly balanced. The ambiance... you could think you're in a car dealership with an adjoining repair shop—really cool! 😎 There's also a pool table and a few arcade machines to help pass the time while you wait.

We often drive 45 minutes here for burgers. Depending on the day of the week and nearby events, the wait time varies between 15 minutes and 1.5 hours (during the Essen Motor Show). We love the burgers and are always extremely satisfied. Even in stressful situations, the staff are almost always incredibly cool. Recently, one employee was impossible to deal with, rude, and extremely unfriendly. Otherwise, everything is great.

It was my first time at the restaurant, and I had a lot of experience. However, the burger didn't taste that great and was lukewarm. There are much better options.
