The atmosphere is great, that's what people want, and that's how I would set it up. Just do the American style, superbly done. The burgers are quite good, I'd give them a B or B+. Unfortunately, they messed up the sweet potato fries. They don't make them fresh, but take them from the warming box. I'd rather have regular fries, as they have a very good throughput, so you'll get crispy fries.

You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used here. In terms of price, everything is in the average expensive range, but for what you get, it's completely justified. On busy days you should plan on waiting around 20 minutes - but it goes by in a flash because while you wait you can play on old arcade machines, which is really nostalgic and cool. The ambience is unique: you sit between tuned JP cars and can enjoy your food directly in this special setting. As if that wasn't impressive enough, you also have a clear view of the dynamometer from the restaurant - perfect for all horsepower fans! Definitely not just for burger lovers, but for everyone who likes good food and fat carts. I'll be back!

We were passing through and “coincidentally” arrived there at lunchtime. Apart from the somewhat difficult parking situation, I can highly recommend the visit. I can't give a comparison to other burger shops in Dortmund, but I bet there's hardly anything better. The meat and sauces (unfortunately a little bit) are very tasty, the burgers as a whole are also good to look at, and overall a decent portion - they don't skimp on the cheese! I think it's great that they offer really good quality at fair prices, I'm happy to praise that, especially since the store was initiated by an influencer. There was a small point deduction for the relatively drafty atmosphere, but it was an interesting location in itself, car fans will get their money's worth!

It's okay there. Unfortunately, the food isn't that great when the line stretches all the way outside! Then the quality decreases. Drink cooling too. I've had this happen several times now when there's a lot of crowds and the quality really drops. And I'm really tolerant. Otherwise I can really recommend the store. Great idea with the test bench. Great atmosphere! Awesome cars too!

I drove from Berlin to Dortmund with my family to eat at Big Boost Burger, it was extremely worth it, the burgers are juicy with a pink core, the fries are very hot and crispy. For me as a car nut, the ambience is just great. Will definitely do the route again.

However, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Therefore only four out of 5 stars. The tables could be wiped clean more often. (The guests could also practice better behavior then it wouldn't look so bad.)

I can understand why many give 5 stars here - especially because of the cars that you know from the videos. This definitely creates a special atmosphere. But if you stay honest and evaluate the visit as a whole, it quickly puts things into perspective. The burger tasted good, no question. But nothing that really stands out today. Just a solid, typical burger – tasty, but not a highlight. What excites many people is certainly the environment with the exhibition vehicles. That's exciting too, no question. But when it comes to eating, the atmosphere is rather uncomfortable: dark, quite loud and extremely crowded. Sure, it's designed for fast throughput, you can tell. Anyone who comes just for the food will probably be disappointed - in my opinion it would be more of a 3/5. Unfortunately, what didn't work was that the two of us ate there in the afternoon on April 5, 2025 - and we all had severe digestive problems the next day. Since we didn't eat or drink anything else unusual that day, the only trigger left was the burger. Very unpleasant unfortunately.

We ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries from the take-out menu. Unfortunately a tray was put in front of us. When asked, the food was carelessly packed in a paper bag by the very unfriendly employee with the words "then you just had to wait." The employee at the checkout wasn't particularly friendly either. Maybe it was due to the rush at the moment, but we expect a minimum of service even at a fast food restaurant. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great either. The fries were above average greasy and the burger patty was fried too long so that it was already "charred". All in all a standard burger. To be honest, we wouldn't get food there again :) Plus point: The ambience and decoration were great.

For me personally one of the top 3 burger shops in Germany. Great ingredients, the side dishes are very tasty. If you're a big fan you can take your drinking cup home with you at the end 👍. Ambience simply kept in the brilliant tuner style via hoods on the ceiling🚘

Big Boost Burger in Dortmund completely blew me away - the best burger I've ever eaten in Germany! The entire concept has been thought out with so much love that even non-car fans will be impressed. I was there with a friend who doesn't care about cars at all - and even he was absolutely thrilled. Even the cups are designed with love. You can just feel that everything here is done with heart. The staff was super friendly throughout - from the chefs to the service and the cleaning staff. And in terms of taste? Simply world class. I'll definitely be back!

If you like burnt burgers, this is the place for you. The meat sits on the grill for far too long and becomes bone dry. Plus, the buns come with carcinogenic acrylamide. I'm really disappointed and recommend that JP fans head to another burger joint and skip the food.

I went to Big Boost Burger because I was curious to see if it was just talk or if the burgers were really as good as everyone says. I was there on a Friday evening around 7:30 p.m., and there was already a long line inside. At first, we thought we'd have to wait an hour or so, as it looked really long. Spoiler alert: we were served pretty quickly, and the cashier was super friendly. We got our food pretty quickly, and we found a seat right away. We ordered a single burger and a burger from the set menu with fries and a drink. We paid a total of around €28 (I'm not entirely sure), which is pretty reasonable for the quality of the food and the fast service. The bacon burger was absolutely amazing; it was fresh and delicious and lived up to all the expectations of a good burger. Since I'm currently watching my diet a bit, the menu was absolutely sufficient for me, but I can also imagine that my old self could probably have eaten 2-3 burgers. The fries were fresh and delicious, and perfectly salted, something very few restaurants can achieve. The atmosphere is really cool; they have some really cool cars on site that you'd probably never see on the road otherwise. I was as happy as a kid and absolutely loved my time there. All in all, you can say that it's a very good "fast-food restaurant" where you can eat great burgers and fries and have a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back 😊🏎
