The daily specials, which the chef personally explained at each table, all sounded very interesting – the ravioli with pear and chestnuts, and the one with truffle and rabbit, were indeed delicious! The pistachio tartufo for dessert was equally impressive. Overall, we found the calm and collected manner of everyone involved in the service very pleasant.

O sole mio is currently the best Italian restaurant in Augsburg and the surrounding area. The pizzas are unparalleled. The service is friendly and fast. Anyone who finds fault here will find something to complain about anywhere.

There were five of us. I had the Carpaccio di Monza and then the Saltimbocca a la Romana. Both were delicious, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, there was only a short wait. The main course arrived before I'd even finished my appetizer. The service was otherwise excellent and attentive. I'll definitely be back.
