There was something for the children to paint, which I thought was great! Then you can have some peace and quiet while choosing your meal, the children are busy. Friendly staff 🫶🏻 The food was also very good. Cocktail, great.

One of the best restaurants according to online searches. The decor is really nice and.. huge seating capacity inside. You can also sit outside directly on the Radhausplatz. We weren't quite sure about the Italian cuisine - the pizza wasn't bad, but not what I/we know or would have expected from Italian cuisine. Others describe it as "Italian Inspired", which is probably a good idea - or the chef comes from a lesser-known region. The price of the pizza was on the slightly more expensive side in relation to the size and taste, but this is certainly due to the excellent location and the indoor seating. If you want something to eat in the city center, this is definitely a good, central place to go. If it's all about taste or price/performance, you might be able to find it somewhere else - but not at Rathausplatz.

Great food in a great atmosphere. Me and my son had calzones, my wife had pizza. Both tasted really very good. The dishes were also visually very appealing. The homemade lemonades are also recommended. The acoustics may be a bit loud, but otherwise everything was perfect. If we were Augsburg residents, we would definitely be there more often. The price is also completely okay. The three of us, including some starters, paid just over €80.

Great restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. The food is Italian-inspired, but not classic Italian cuisine. You get creative when interpreting the dishes. You can't go wrong with Riegele draft beer either. It was a lovely evening and we would love to come back.

There were 5 of us and we sat down at a table outside. However, since there is only room for four people at the tables and it was already tight for five, we wanted to add another table. However, the waiter refused us this with the words “we don’t push tables together”. I would have understood if it was busy, but there were easily 10-15 tables left! So in the end we had to squeeze five people into a table of four. I love the food and the service staff are always nice, quick and always present. But I thought that was really bad; they could have really been more flexible!

The food was delicious. The service was friendly but a bit forgetful. We had to ask twice each for a high chair and for the bill. Unfortunately, the high chair that arrived was also very dirty, so we didn't use it. Nevertheless, we didn't let it influence us. However, I would recommend treating the high chairs the same as the tables and always keeping them clean.

It's a shame that the operator doesn't tolerate criticism instead of apologizing! Wanted to eat with several people. Statement: (although we would have put the tables together ourselves) We have to sit separately because only two tables can be put together! There were a lot of empty tables!! If you can avoid taking 8 meals and 8 drinks, the company must be doing very well.

We ate very tasty, fresh (!) pasta. Overall, there isn't necessarily what you know and expect when it comes to pizza and pasta; but everything is very imaginative! The service is very friendly, quick and efficient.

Went there for the second time today, we had a Margherita pizza and a Vegetable Rush pizza, which we really enjoyed and were huge. The service was very attentive and friendly. It was very hot outside today. We then moved inside and that wasn't a problem. The interior was super air conditioned, perfect!!!

Food was good, but the price was a tad too high. The tables outside are a bit cramped Unfortunately the service was very bad when we were there. The waiter was, well, trying. Friendly but totally incompetent. It took forever to take the order, but then we still didn't pass the main course on to the kitchen, so we waited an hour for the main course. He was so clumsy when taking a plate with him that the plate broke and he also forgot to bring back the packed food. The interaction between the waiters was very tense, so you didn't feel comfortable. The waiter's wordy apologies only made the situation more unpleasant

We have been to the Aposto several times and have always been satisfied. The location is beyond question, great. The service is also quick and the price-performance ratio is ok. It's completely understandable that something goes wrong on a Saturday evening (a busy one) and then an ingredient is forgotten. But if you as a customer react more friendly than the staff in such a situation, then something is going wrong. At first I received a completely charred pizza. How could the staff even get this to the customer? I wish I had taken a photo! Then the pizza came quite quickly and looked ok at first. It quickly became clear that the truffle oil had been forgotten this time. I know the pizza and know that you can see and smell it straight away. Of course, it's very embarrassing when something goes wrong with the same dish twice. I still wanted to give it another chance. The waitress, however, reacted very unprofessionally/uncomprehendingly and also acted as if she was doing a favor by putting truffle oil on the pizza. It is an essential part of the court. Of course the pizza was cold in the end and so was the mood at the table. At the end, i.e. when paying, nothing was initially offered or at least an apology was made. Only after we had mentioned this did we come back and say that we could get a cappuccino on the house, but a cold drink (e.g. juice spritzer), which would be even cheaper, wasn't included. So we didn't take anything and paid, even with a tip. But that was our last visit to the restaurant.

The restaurant is located on a pleasant square. We were quickly assigned a table. However, our waitress was not having a good day. She was a bit sulky and didn't always seem very friendly. After ordering drinks, one drink arrived quickly. However, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for the other one. Even after asking 3 times where the drink was. The question of where it was was also not well received by the waitress. After the long wait the drink arrived and was thrown on the table, too bad. On the other hand, the food was delicious! Halfway through the evening we had a change in service. The friendly waiter we got afterwards did a great job!

The Aposto does what it's supposed to do. There are drinks that are reserved and I had a homemade iced tea and it was delicious. Service was friendly and quick.

**Sobering experience at Aposto am Rathausplatz** I recently had a very unpleasant experience at the Aposto on Rathausplatz. During my visit, a saleswoman accidentally threw my phone, which resulted in the rear display and frame being damaged. The saleswoman herself was very nice and understanding, which I would like to emphasize positively. Unfortunately, the situation ended less pleasantly when the manager of the restaurant, a lady with pink hair, arrived. She was extremely rude and refused to cover the damage. Instead, she tried to talk her way out of it and did so in a very inappropriate way, using my first name name without asking, even though we didn't know each other. The situation eventually escalated to the point where I had to call the police to resolve the incident. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and greatly dampened my impression of the facility. I hope that in the future management will find better solutions to such incidents and customer service will be improved.

The pizzas are not worth the money, very bad for this price and a very unfriendly staff, you are spoken to stupidly and it takes a very long time for the staff to take your order

The staff is unfriendly to their customers and you should allow at least 2 hours to wait for your food.

The staff had already asked us in or out at the beginning because we had spoken to each other about the prices....now we had to wait forever until we got a seat. On top of that, we were ignored several times and had to complain about not being served.. ..the way customers are treated is disrespectful and the blonde lady is quickly irritated with everyone and extremely unfriendly when dealing with them.

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, 6 people sat in the outdoor seating area in front of the Aposto. The service lady was very competent, friendly and customer-oriented. The dishes were good and I can recommend the restaurant because the food, service and ambience are good there.

Impossible behavior - no hospitality: boss has instructed the waitress that there is zero tolerance. What happened? After a stay of several hours with 8 people and over €300 in sales, someone wanted to eat something at 5 a.m. after 9 p.m. "That doesn't work. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. “Ok. But what happened next has nothing to do with hospitality - the hungry person organized a snack from somewhere else and wanted to eat it at the table in the town hall square (along with the wine he had ordered there). The waitress then expelled the guests from their seats in a very rude manner…. Never again Aposto - the management has no understanding of hospitality

What a welcome! After a long travel day and a long walk with 3 children, we quickly got a spot on the terrace. The praise goes especially to the waiter. He arranged a sparkling lemonade especially for our daughter and when we wanted to keep ourselves warm with the scarce jackets and cardigans, he offered us blankets without asking. SUPER! Recharged, we returned to our hotel.

Personally, I really like going to Aposto, but unfortunately my friend and I were there last time and were sitting at the table and weren't allowed to turn the table around “on the boss's instructions”. It is a table that sits diagonally in front of the window on the upper floor. We just wanted to sit across from each other and didn't bother anyone. It was just annoying. Otherwise great service and very nice employees.

Absolutely unsuitable for visiting with babies. It was a huge problem for the service staff that we four adults and our two babies wanted a place. Since our children are still small (5 months and 8 months), we would have liked to take the strollers with us as they cannot sit upright in the high chair for that long. The strollers would not have blocked or hindered anyone. Nevertheless, we were vehemently told several times that we should park the strollers in the entrance area. They also seemed quite annoyed that two high chairs were needed and that the two babies were taking up two places, so to speak, without eating anything. The Aposto Augsburg definitely saw the last time of me.

The food is good, and the premises are nice. But the service is ridiculously bad. I was out eating with my family and ordered a soda for myself. When the drinks came, only half of us got to drink. Of course, everyone can make mistakes, so there was no problem. We gave notice, and got more drinks, but I still lacked a drink. I asked periodically, at least 5 times, if I could just have my coke, but it was a completely impossible task for the staff to complete. It was a very hot day, I was heavily pregnant, and really needed something to drink. Pizza doesn't taste good when you're thirsty. We actually ended up having to leave the restaurant without getting my Coke. Thought it was extremely strange service, how hard is it to go into the bar and get a coke??

Assembly line workers and low-wage workers meet for dinner. The food is good, but in my opinion the original Italian restaurant is better and promotes individual entrepreneurs and not chains.

The food tastes extremely good and there is a large selection and recommendations. There is a lot of space and is recommended for a quick lunch. Since there are many seating options inside and outside, the service is sometimes a bit slow.

We were there with a larger group of people and just wanted to have a drink. We were warmly welcomed outside and invited in, unfortunately evil awakened inside! After we sat down and moved a second table that was next to us to ours, we were very harshly told by a waiter named Markus that we would not be served until the tables were put back again, the wording was relatively disrespectful was of course very frightened, this could certainly have been said in a more diplomatic way. After the tables were right again, he said, “The kitchen is closed, what else do you want here?”, after which we left the place, which was met with a malicious laugh from him. I also noticed a strong acrid grease/fryer smell, otherwise the ambience seemed very inviting.

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My 4 year old daughter and I, heavily pregnant, were treated extremely disrespectfully by a blonde waitress. Despite an empty table and the fact that the table was not reserved, we were asked to stand up and ask for a table again. This inappropriate treatment greatly affected our visit and makes me hesitant to recommend this restaurant!!!!

Very bad service!! After queuing for 25 minutes on a Saturday with six people, we were turned away because, according to the statement, they didn't have enough staff to open the other tables and there was no room for six people. Half the tables were cordoned off. It's impossible to get a message like that after 25 minutes in line and feeling hungry. Never again!

Die Reservierung online ist total praktisch. Das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet und man hat sofort Lust, sich dort aufzuhalten. Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort, die verschiedenen Gerichte (Pizza, Pasta, Salat) haben gut geschmeckt. Bei schönem Wetter sind wir später am Abend nochmal auf eine Runde Cocktails auf dem Vorplatz gelandet, hat auch jedem geschmeckt. Service war gut, freundlich und flott.

I took advantage of the nice weather and ate a delicious pizza outside. Pizza was big, crispy and tasty. I would have only liked a little more tomato sauce, but completely ok for the price and size. Leftovers are packaged in a friendly manner for you to take home. Recommended.

Very friendly and fast service. The food, we ordered pizza and it was excellent. The atmosphere is modern, stylish, yet cozy. Especially on the upper floor you can have a little more conversation and relax. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back. If Aposto would still deliver food, we would be very excited.

I really like the Aposto in Augsburg. The great location on Rathausplatz (you can sit outside there in summer) and the proactive service are convincing. The cocktail selection is also great. Addendum: Unfortunately, over time (especially after the pandemic) the restaurant has diminished in terms of selection. So there are no more general meat or fish dishes (like the salmon fillet in my photo). By far the best types of pasta have also disappeared from the menu. A pity.

It's a nice restaurant in itself, but all the tables have reservations on them and people look askance at you if you don't have a reservation. But there are no people who have reserved all the reserved tables. The menu can also be read via QR code. This is difficult if cell phone reception is poor. You are also not offered a card. The food itself is rich, taste is ok.

It's rare to find such delicious, unusual pizza! The homemade lemonades are also super delicious, as is the bruschetta. The service was also super friendly and the location was great right on the town hall square. Next time I visit Augsburg I definitely have to go there again to eat.

For me personally, one of the best locations in Augsburg if you just want to spend a nice evening with friends and have something to eat and drink. Both are better served separately at other locations, but here you get both delicious food and good drinks. Pizza and pasta are generally recommended and the portions are more than sufficient. The service is very attentive, you are served quickly and the food you order comes to the table quickly, even when it is busy. The atmosphere is modern and appealing.

Food great! Finally an Italian with extraordinary creations. Pizza with chicken and mango chutney, calzone with pulled pork and and and. Unfortunately it was a bit hectic this time because we only got there shortly after 9 p.m. and the kitchen closed at 9:30 p.m. So the starter, main courses and dessert were brought at the same time. Of course it was suboptimal if ice was included. Have eaten there many times and always been completely satisfied!

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Augsburg with excellent service and delicious food as well as homemade lemonades, iced teas, etc. Priced at the higher end for simple pasta with drinks. But since everything else was fine, it's a benevolent five stars.

It's okay if you're tired of looking at the city. However, the food isn't that great now. There are better pizzerias in Augsburg when it comes to taste. The waitresses are very accommodating and friendly.
