Unfortunately, we weren't particularly impressed with the food. While they do offer unusual and unique variations of pizza and pasta, they aren't comparable to authentic Italian cuisine. The portions are rather small. The drinks selection, however, is very good.

Never again Aposto. I was there last night and unfortunately found a hair in my food. Absolutely unacceptable. The waiter was quite annoyed and didn't even offer an apology or a complimentary espresso. I probably got the same plate again. Asking if the second plate was any better was quite provocative.

The food has really gone downhill. We used to go there several times, and it was the best pizza I'd ever had, but sadly, it's not anymore. The service is very attentive, the restrooms are clean, and the atmosphere is okay. The seating is quite dated and could use some renovation. I also wished there was salt and pepper on the tables.

The dough was hard, the pizza was cold, and a guy stole a piece from me.

We've been there quite a few times, whether for a drink or coffee outside in the summer or for dinner after the Christmas market. We really like the atmosphere, and there's plenty of space inside across three floors. The waitstaff always gets a good workout when it's busy and they're serving customers on all levels. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, which is great. The location right on the town hall square is fantastic, of course, if you're ever in town. The menu offers the usual Italian fare of pizza, pasta, salads, and more. Taste-wise, the pizzas didn't impress us: doughy, lots of oregano, either poor-quality mozzarella or some other kind of cheese, but they were large – which might please the average German, but for us, it wasn't enough for a rating above average. The pasta and salads are better, but still nothing special. The cocktails are delicious. Prices are reasonable, considering the location and the usual inflation in the restaurant industry.

This was our third Christmas dinner with our historical dance group at Aposto, and this time it was our last. I had made a reservation for 15 people, but that wasn't possible online, so I booked by email. I was informed that the reservation would only be possible half an hour later than planned. I was also strongly advised that we had to notify them if the number of participants changed, otherwise we would be charged a cancellation fee. Since a few people couldn't make it, I gave them notice the day before. We were quite surprised to find that we were almost the only guests on the upper floor. The food wasn't as good as the previous two years; the menu had changed. On top of that, it was quite cold and drafty in the restaurant due to the ventilation. Then, at 8:30 pm, we were told that the kitchen closed at 9 pm and that we should quickly order dessert. The only positive aspect was the behavior of the lady who served us; she tried her best to compensate for the shortcomings. However, we will not be returning to this establishment; apparently, the management does not feel the need to make the visit guest-friendly.

In my almost 40 years of life and numerous visits to various pizzerias around the globe, I have to say that was the worst pizza we have ever eaten. The only warm thing about the pizzas was the pre-heated plate. The crust was incredibly thin, yet they still managed to make it undercooked. The service was okay. But we definitely won't be coming back here to eat.

We had reserved a table and were immediately told that the guests were missing, but they were only arriving later due to traffic and work. There were many empty tables around us. The last guest at our table arrived approximately 80 minutes late, but according to the fine print, they still had 55 minutes to eat. Unfortunately, we were then "politely" asked to leave, as the food couldn't be brought to our table within the maximum reservation time. My regular group and I will not be coming here again.

Chain store, unfriendly & unreliable service

It was quite crowded, but the staff still tried their best to find a table for six without a reservation. Because it was so busy, it was naturally noisy, which I didn't particularly like. The food arrived reasonably quickly, and they asked if we wanted more drinks when our glasses were empty. Everything was great. I had the BBQ beef calzone. Very tasty! Unfortunately, there wasn't quite enough coleslaw. I thought it was a side dish, but it was more for decoration. The pizza rolls were yummy!

Another great evening with fantastic pizza and pasta. Thanks to Spin and Win, we even got a 25% discount. Unfortunately, it got incredibly loud, and we had to shout to be heard. Not all the guests there seem to want a quiet evening 😭

We were satisfied: The pizzas are solid, but the highlight is definitely the pasta—fresh and homemade, highly recommended. Equally positive: the homemade lemonades and iced teas, which are wonderfully refreshing. And to finish, the dessert is a must: the "Naughty Berry" is a half-baked cookie from the pan with warm raspberries, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce—simply divine. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere complete the experience. Highly recommended for pasta lovers and dessert fans.

Warning! I was there with my family over the weekend and the restaurant is closed until July 6th, 2026. Do not go there.

Aposto Augsburg impresses with a great atmosphere and a fantastic view of the town hall square. The service is consistently friendly, and the bartender, in particular, delighted us with his service! The ambiance is simply wonderful, and the location right on the town hall square makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. I will definitely come back. 5 stars 🌟 absolutely deserved! November 2, Sunday, 2:50 PM / 2025 Unfortunately, the waiter was rude ("You can see that it's reserved"), which further spoiled the visit. This message serves as a suggestion for improvement in the service. The gentlemen at the bar were very nice and polite; one of them even remembered me and the (dark wheat beer). I am writing this review as an Aposto fan, hoping that the restaurant continues to work on its service and quality.

Great location with modern decor and interesting variations on pirate-themed dishes and pasta. The only downside is that the knives are incredibly dull. By the end of the meal, your hand will be cramped.

We were there with a large group of about 20 people. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, our spaghetti was overcooked and torn. The sauces weren't that tasty either, and the pasta was cold. So we sent back most of our order and received it back a little warmer. The staff member took note of the criticism and will hopefully pass it on. In general, the restaurant is very loud, and the sheer number of people making it a bit uncomfortable. Everything felt like a mass-production operation, and that meant the quality suffered. It's a shame.

Really good food, great service, and a great atmosphere. But we ate there yesterday and had our Burrata pizza wrapped up, with half the burrata left over. Unfortunately, today we noticed that the burrata wasn't wrapped up. So, the essentials were thrown away...

I had the Pappardelle con Salmone and was unfortunately disappointed. The salmon was cut very finely, making it barely noticeable—both visually and in terms of taste. The sauce was also extremely oily, so a veritable layer of oil collected at the bottom of the plate. Overall, the dish was unbalanced in flavor and barely tasted of salmon. It's a shame, I had expected much more.

Aposto in Augsburg has long been my regular restaurant. When I'm there, I reserve my lovely spot right next to the two large glass doors, which open when the weather allows. As I already mentioned when awarding the stars, the food is excellent (compliments to the kitchen), and the service staff is always friendly, helpful, and competent.

The salad was delicious, and so was the blueberry lemonade! Super friendly service.

What impresses us most is the friendliness of the staff. They always have a friendly remark. They're always quick, and sometimes they apologize if it takes a while. We also think it's great that you don't have to eat, but can just have a drink. The excellent wine selection and the high quality of the food are also great.

I visited Aposto Augsburg and was absolutely thrilled! The ambiance is both modern and cozy—perfect for a lovely evening with friends or family. The food was excellent: the pizza was very crispy, the pasta was fresh and flavorful, and the desserts are also highly recommended. I would especially like to highlight the service—attentive, friendly, and fast, even though it was busy. The value for money is also good here. I will definitely be back and can recommend Aposto to anyone looking for delicious Italian food in Augsburg.

The waiter got impatient when we arrived because he couldn't understand Italian, even with the translator. I asked if it was an Italian restaurant as described online, and was told no, but the place was plastered with historic newspapers from Gazzetta dello Sport and other Italian images. Finally, I managed to get the menu and we ordered three carbonaras (the linguine were completely overcooked, the sauce a bit off), three chicken breasts, one beer, one water, one Coke, and two coffees for €106.40. I wouldn't recommend it.

Service was very SLOW and very unfriendly!! I ordered a **raspberry honey lemonade** and it didn't taste like raspberry honey lemonade at all. Even though I told the server, he took my drinks and said he would make new ones... he just mixed them with sparkling water and gave them back... I wouldn't even give it 1 star.

Beautiful location with a fantastic view. The staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I ordered the Goa pizza, which was very good. Unfortunately, the chicken on the pizza wasn't quite to my taste; it was red inside when cut. However, I can't tell if the meat was cooked through or not. Otherwise, a top-notch restaurant and worth recommending. I would personally leave out the parsley on the pizza and replace it with arugula.

We've been to Aposto many times, and we particularly enjoy the food and the wonderful ambiance! Unfortunately, we've had two instances where a server initially seemed very friendly, but then quickly reacted snippy to minor issues and gossiped about us with colleagues in front of us… for example, because of what they considered a too-small tip. It's a real shame! We love the restaurant and the delicious food, but this situation makes it difficult for us to fully enjoy our stay.

Horrible food, horrible pasta taste. I ate 1/10 of the portion and couldn't eat any more; it was like three days old. They didn't offer me anything for it, but the waitress said it was okay, everything was delicious 😳🤯 By the way, the pasta was brought very quickly, as if it were a semi-finished product from Netto and they just seasoned it with sauce on top. But the atmosphere and location are normal. I don't need a response from the restaurant. I've already seen how brazenly SMM communicates with dissatisfied customers. "Cringe" is a year old, and I eat in restaurants every day and see a lot. Positive reviews about the taste of the food make me seriously doubtful.
