Bie-Food in Bielefeld

A solid 4 stars from me. We stumbled across COLON through a voucher book. I have few comparisons to Spanish cuisine and was curious to see what to expect. We quickly found a parking space right next to the restaurant. The restaurant is "older style," decorated with a slight Spanish touch. The tables are comfortably spaced apart. The service was attentive and prompt. The menu is extensive. Cold dishes, hot dishes, fish, meat, vegetables... something for every taste. We tried a lot of different dishes and everything tasted great. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine, and all in all, the visit turned out to be a great evening.

We've been coming here once a month with the club for bowling for years, even back in Dimi's day. It's disappointing that we haven't even gotten a call saying it's now closed. Our club member was very close to the tenants. He repaired the lanes. Not even he was informed. We hope the owner will invest in this dilapidated building. Then maybe we'll find new tenants.

Breakfast until 3 p.m. Simply perfect. Great quality in the kitchen, everything fresh, lovingly presented, beautifully presented, and prepared to a very high standard. Excellent coffee. I've rarely had a more harmonious cappuccino. It's no surprise, though, when the wait staff are at home using their own portafilters and drip scales. The beautifully curated playlist at a pleasantly low volume and the daily newspapers available make the stay perfect. Thank you for this gem in Bielefeld! ♥️

The four of us ate at the restaurant last night. The place is lovely, and the ambiance is really good. The service when ordering was also really friendly. I ordered mineral water, and my friend an apple spritzer. My water was completely stale, barely carbonated, and unfortunately tasted bad at all, as was my friend's apple spritzer. I ordered lasagna for dinner. My meal was very greasy and tasted exclusively of cheap cheese. After half the lasagna, I felt so nauseous that I had to go outside for a few minutes. We then paid, and I left the water and half the lasagna. We informed the waitress, who simply said she would inform the chef. That took care of it. When I got home, I started throwing up and had stomach cramps all night. My friends' pizzas were apparently fine. Considering that our drinks were stale and I threw up after the lasagna, I strongly suspect they don't pay attention to the shelf life of their food. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
