I love hotel rooms with bathtubs. There was one, only negative point here, no climate, it was very warm that day.

Were there for a weekend, very nice staff, room very clean and the food was very tasty and the buffet 👍👍👍 we had a wellness weekend, we didn't go to the sauna, but we saw it 😊

Very friendly and attentive staff. Air conditioning, cleaning and parking are the only improvements that can be made. Staying there for about 2 weeks was quite pleasant.

Average! The rooms without air conditioning are a bit old. The worst thing for me was that there was no air conditioning, which in my opinion is unacceptable in summer. If requested, a fan will be provided which helps moderately. The bar service wasn't very helpful for us, we had to ask several times if we could order something. The young gentleman was busy with his cell phone... Reception is polite and tries very hard. The breakfast is very extensive. All in all I had an average stay. The lack of air conditioning is very annoying.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. Unfortunately, the high temperatures made it absolutely unbearable in the room as it got very hot and there was no air conditioning! Sleep was hard to think about. Unreasonable. Apparently we hadn't booked a room with air conditioning, which wasn't immediately apparent when booking. The employees apologized, but otherwise did not accommodate us. (Friends got parking fees back)

Very nice and helpful staff. The room was clean and quite nice. Nothing was missing from the breakfast. Again any time.

The staff did their best to meet our needs: we arrived too early, the room wasn't available yet and they suggested a conference room for us to change because we wanted to go to an event. Thank you for your understanding and options

The hotel is very central. You can reach the important places in the city on foot. We only had breakfast and didn't take advantage of any other offers. The hotel was heavily booked and therefore the breakfast room was too narrow. The breakfast selection was extensive.

Was there for a few days on business and had the opportunity to use both the restaurant and the wellness area. Both very fine! The breakfast was also great, the staff overall was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I wasn't able to test out was the bar during that time. The hotel has an easily accessible and large car park, which is subject to a charge. The rooms are very tidy and large.

Parking on site very convenient...easy to find. Very clean with polite and helpful staff.

The room was very hot at arrival. But it was possible to cool down in the night with open windows. I prefer a spacious shower cubicle instead of a bathtub, but it was fine The breakfast was really good with a large selection. Lovely room with freshly ironed tablecloths on the tables. Very polite staff who served coffee and made sure everything was in order.

We were there today, very nice hotel, food very tasty and fresh...unfortunately the staff showed no interest in guests, unfortunately the table wasn't really clean and tidy ...very nice cook for him 5*****

Most of the staff were very unfriendly, silent and unhelpful. The exception only applies to one person who tried to make our stay pleasant. Our booking was recorded incorrectly. We booked a double room for 2 people, but we got a single room. The check-in took at least 20 minutes, which had to be carried out independently despite the presence of staff. The room to which we were then rebooked after a long period of time at least had air conditioning, but it was totally outdated. There was also long black hair almost everywhere in the room.

Great hotel for a short stay. Good breakfast. Quit.

My favorite hotel from my trip to Germany. It is a beautiful setting and close to everything. The staff is helpful and kind. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are lovely. The resturant is very good and the breakfast is worth the money.

At 11 p.m. in the evening there was no longer any hotel bar. Accessibility for people with walking difficulties is limited. Good breakfast.

Solid conference hotel, nothing to complain about.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Until now I only knew it as another high-rise building typical of Gießen, but the inside was very spacious, clean and tidy. The junior suite is a pleasant size and the bed and the fatboy in the room were very comfortable. I was also very impressed with the breakfast - both quantity and quality. Pigeons only seem to live on the balcony more often, as their droppings everywhere reveal - you could do with cleaning there more often.

We were in Steinsgarden again. As always, lobby, service staff competent in all areas, polite, courteous, Attentive. We would particularly like to highlight the work of Mr. Mokhbef..... He was responsible for us in the restaurant. Gladly again and again.

-quiet location -Rooms appear renovated -I would prefer a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub -Charging station for electric cars, but only works with your own card, at a price of 69 cents/kwh, which is really too expensive for the speed - very good breakfast with everything you need and more!

Clean rooms. Rich breakfast with lots of choice for everyone

Nothing is right here in terms of price. The rooms are not tidy and full of defects. I would rate the evening buffet as poor and the ala menu dinner would be sufficient. The service is rated 6. When I checked in, no one could sell or get me a cola. In terms of price, the room is expensive and the service and food do not match the price. Attached are a few small photos that reflect everything somewhat.

Always friendly staff, whether at reception or at the rich breakfast. I choose the hotel because of the electric charging station, now you have changed the conditions and it costs 0.70 cents per KW. Pretty intensive in terms of price.

Great price-performance ratio. Well-modernized late 60s hotel with a nice swimming pool and a very adequate breakfast with a large selection. Friendly staff - improved in recent years.

Check-in takes a long time. The employee's skills are not good. As he reports, the man is only present twice a week. Should be reconsidered. Breakfast very good. It's a shame, the bar was unfortunately closed.

We're on site right now, a bit chaotic so far, the driveway lockers are open but the parking lot is empty. It was probably a mistake by the receptionist. Only one towel in the room. I wanted to book 2 breakfasts for Sunday, the children are fully booked but Saturday it would work, according to the reception. So call the children or reschedule it. Then to the reception and another lady says breakfast is fully booked on Saturday! Let's see what will come next. And I don't know that you're asked when you arrive if you don't want to have your room cleaned.

Very Expensive bur the worst hotel I have ever stayed. This is my third night and there is no housekeeping. Its not clean! I called reception nobody answered. I went to reception and waited 15 minutes nobody was there. I came back to room and called again, nobody anawered. Like a joke!!!

The staff is super friendly, unfortunately there is a small minus on Friday the bar is only open until 11.30 p.m. For this on Saturday nothing should be changed. We especially have to highlight the staff who worked in the restaurant, they were super friendly, especially on Friday evenings. Breakfast buffet was great.

Unfriendly, poor knowledge of German at reception and outdated thinking

Well-equipped room with a large bathroom, although I would have preferred a shower to the old bathtub. The breakfast buffet has a lot to offer, and the service is also pleasant. Numerous parking spaces at the hotel. The hotel is located a little outside the center, but you can walk to it in just a few minutes. E.g. At Kinopolis. The hotel bar is a curiosity, unfortunately the music is too loud.

A very clean hotel, friendly staff, food is great with lots of organic products from local farmers, spring has arrived with lots of colorful plants in front of and in the hotel, the swimming pool is warm even in the morning, the cocktails are delicious, a hotel where you can relax feels good and would like to come back.

Small but nice room, cozy and very clean wellness area with fluffy towels and bathrobes "on site", sometimes very friendly reception, late check out, super quality breakfast buffet - to feel good

The breakfast and dinner were excellent, as was the bar. The floor in the room was not clean, there were still souvenirs from the previous tenant under the bed and a lot of hair in the carpet. Didn't use the wellness area, massage was very good, but we booked a package with a 10 minute massage included and were greeted by the masseur with "We don't actually do 10 minutes", then you can't offer it 😊

Rooms okay, location okay, wellness area much too small, highlight was the freshly prepared omelette at the breakfast buffet.

Neat and clean rooms, good variety and selection at breakfast. The staff at the reception is very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Specially, the morning staff.

Too old for my taste or, if that's the case, not my taste. The rooms have been selectively modernized. The room was clean and free of defects throughout. Despite having booked a room in advance, all data had to be entered again.

We were invited to a celebration at the hotel. Therefore I can't write anything about the rooms. The food was good, the service was very good at the beginning but declined later. The atmosphere was very nice.

Wir waren am Sonntag zum brunchen da. Große Auswahl an Brötchen, Fisch, Wurst, Käse und allem was das Herz begehrt. Ab 11.30 gibt es zusätzlich 3 Hauptspeisen, Suppe und Dessert. Essen sehr reichlich und sehr gut! Der Service war auch perfekt. Aufmerksam und höflich. Vielen Dank!

Nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer sind sauber und funktional. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher und Kaffee/Tee. Im Untergeschoss gibt es einen Wellnessbereich, den ich nicht gesehen habe. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Hier sollte eigentlich jeder etwas passendes finden.

Ich war am Weihnachten mit Familie zum Brunch hier. Es hat uns gut gefallen das Buffet war reichhaltig und Speisen waren schön hergerichtet und lecker, Service war auch aufmerksam und freundlich.

Zimmertür ist nachts aufgesprungen,war eigenartig.Aber gute Lage,in der Nähe vom Zentrum.Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig.Kleines Schwimmbad,war herrlich,morgens schwimmen zu gehen.

Das Hotel 🏨 ist sehr schön. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Badewanne gehabt, die ausgestattet war mit Wasserkocher und Minibar. Wir haben sehr gut darin geschlafen. Das Frühstück war äußerst lecker. Besonders die Guacomole und das frisch servierte Omelette, welches man beim Kellner bestellt waren erstklassig. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Schwimmbad und auch Sauna. Beides wirkte sehr einladend. Die Sauna könnte gerne weniger heiß 🥵 sein. Das war schon zuviel des Guten. Ausreichend Handtücher lagen auch bereit. Das Personal war sehr nett, auch wenn etwas uninformiert. Bspw. wurde uns eine Abendessenszeit genannt, die 30 Minuten zu früh war. Beim Check-In vergessen unsere Therme Gutscheine sowie den Welcomedrink auszuhändigen. Nach Rückfrage wurde das zwar erledigt, aber ich musste 2x zur Rezeption laufen. Parkplätze waren kostenlos draußen reichlich vorhanden und in die Innenstadt kann man bequem zu Fuß 🦶 gehen. Alles in allem an schöner Aufenthalt und das Hotel empfehlenswert.

the rooms are very nice and comfortable, water pressure and temperature sehr gut, sauna is really nice (although i wish it were open past 10), location is great, check in process as others have mentioned is really painful, and wifi is absolute scheit. sad how important the last one is but it’s true. if you’re traveling for business and hoping to do some work… it’s too bad.

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal zum Sonntagsbrunch da und hatten uns sehr auf den Besuch gefreut. Aber leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Die Auswahl war nicht mehr so gut! Es gab kein Kuchen oder Stückchen. Die Auswahl an herzhafte kleine Häppchen war auch nicht so toll! Das Brot war noch leicht gefroren! Dann wurden die Müsli und Aufstriche früh weggeräumt! Um 13.30 uhr wurde auch schon das warme Essen weggeräumt! Man hatte das Gefühl, das Personal möchte Feierabend machen. Gemütlich ist anders. So kannten wir es nicht. Bei dem Preis, kann man etwas anderes erwarten. Man hätte auch mal überlegen können, die Eierspeisen frisch zu machen. Das bekommen andere Hotels auch hin. Das war für uns wohl der letzte Besuch dort! Schade, sehr Schade
