Best Indian restaurant in Bamberg. Every items we tried had the real quality and tastes like the authentic dishes. The service was so great.

I recently ordered pizza here. The delivery person called me and told me to pick it up from my doorstep. Why does this place even offer delivery?

Dosa was a pleasant surprise to find in this region. The restaurant has nice tasteful and cozy ambience, friendly and competent service. The menu is a mix of predominantly North India cuisine with a few Indian street food and chaats ! Again, gladly to repeat, dosa was great, the batter, thickness, sambar and chutney..close enough to south Indian flavors. Close to hbf, a great spot on the way into the city or after the adventure from the city ;) Looking forward to return :)

Since we love Indian food and have tried several restaurants, we can honestly say this is our favorite in Bamberg. This is what Indian food should taste like! The lassi is also a delight! Finally, a good Indian restaurant nearby! Highly recommended!

Five of us, a family, came spontaneously. The staff were very friendly and attentive. As you can see in the picture, we ordered both Indian and Italian dishes. Everything tasted excellent. The whole family was very surprised, as the restaurant is quite hidden. Large portions and very good prices! We'll be back! Definitely recommend it!

It's been a while since we ate there. It's a very nice place, and the food is delicious. But we prefer to order at home. It's served quickly that way. They've just recently launched a new menu. Lots of choices, but the food has deteriorated considerably... You could always order without cream because of lactose. Last time, I got a call saying that wasn't possible. I'd have to get something else. Today I had a Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad. The salad only had balsamic vinegar, without any seasoning, which made me shudder. You could search for the mushrooms. The only thing that was great was the pizza... Prices have gone up, service has declined.

We regularly order from there as part of the Bamberg Palliative Care Academy or for PalliVIVO, and we're always very satisfied with the selection and freshness of the meals. Thank you.

I find it really ridiculous that the price for a large standard pizza has suddenly gone up by more than two euros. I've always liked ordering from there, because there's nothing decent for delivery in Bamberg anymore. Nope, let's not bother.

On the way to the train, I didn't have much time: the colleague at the tandoori restaurant was perfectly attuned to my situation. The food arrived quickly, and they gave me a mango lassi to pass the time while I waited. So delicious and friendly! Thanks again! Uta

My pasta with bolognese sauce arrived burnt and the sauce tasted of nothing, completely watery. I have ordered it several times and it was delicious but this time it was really disappointing.

Very nice Indian-Italian restaurant near Bamberg's old town. Both the Indian and Italian dishes are really good and tasty. The service was really extremely nice. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food, which is why I have to deduct a point.

I ate the open-air garden and it was cozy and comfortable. The staff were nice, and the service time was not long. The Biryani tastes great! I have a very positive incident with them: I forgot my power bank in the restaurant. When one of the staff found it, he drove with the restaurant's car around the city to give me the power bank. The location is a bit hidden for tourists and people who don't come close, but it's still worth stopping by. Chicken Korma highly recommended. Very friendly and accommodating! Nice little beer garden in the courtyard. Parking spaces are on the side streets or simply use the parking garage.

I often order from tandoori, today I had a salad with vinegar oil. There was yoghurt sauce on the cucumber, balsamic vinegar on the bottom of 2 lettuce leaves that were visibly old, and vinegar and oil on the rest. I had the feeling that there were leftovers. The salad ended up in the trash. Super disappointed!!!

Naan was ok. Not as good as the reviews here suggest. I hope the chef just had a bad day today. We also paid more than what was stated on the website. Delivery came 20 minutes later but it wasn't that dramatic

Beautiful place, first thing I noticed was how amazing it smelt and was really looking forward to eating from there. The service was great and attentive waiter who was very welcoming and friendly. Our starter was delicious which was chicken pakoras and had high hopes for the food too but unfortunately everything was bland and not spicy at all as you’d expect from Indian food. The meat was tough to cut into and the chicken tandoori was pieces of chicken rather than cubes as we were expecting but it tasted of much better than the meat tandoori. The chicken curry and lamb curry looked like the meat wasn’t cooked with the sauce but rather added into which is why it lacked flavour and when cut into you can see that the sauce wasn’t deep inside but on the outer layer only. I have eaten from many Indian restaurants but never had a non spicy meal like this. The mango lassi was more like a juice as it was very watery and not thick as it should be. Overall I’m unhappy with the quality of the food and such a let down for somewhere that has so many star reviews which is shocking to me how that is possible given the quality of the food. Price was very high too which didn’t bother me if the food lived up to its potential.

Not only the Indian food but also the pizzas and pasta dishes are excellent. Ordering and pickup work great. Taking or picking up drinks with your meal is not recommended because they are very expensive.

We ordered food through Lieferando based on the many positive reviews. The only positive thing was the friendly delivery boy and the can of cola. The food arrived at our house less than lukewarm. The noodles were way too soft and the cheese sauce tasted like nothing, zero flavor and zero seasoning. The butter chicken and the rice didn't taste like anything either, the chicken meat was very firm and tasted like pressed meat. The salad and naan bread were okay. If we had gotten this food in the restaurant then we would have returned it. Once and never again........!!!!!!!! A disappointed customer

For me the best Indian in Bamberg and the surrounding area. The quality is top every time. I can absolutely recommend the Butter Chicken and Hariyali Tikka. The backyard is also super beautiful in summer.

We ordered here on August 22nd, 2021 and waited 3 hours for our food! The boss assured me on the phone that we would (only) get a 10% discount due to the long waiting time, but when the supplier showed up at our door he didn't know anything about it and so I asked him to call his boss. On the phone his boss actually said that he had NOT said anything like that, which was a complete disgrace because we then had to pay the FULL AMOUNT! To the boss: Simply hanging up when the CUSTOMER is speaking is incredibly rude and bottom drawer! I will continue to recommend this restaurant to friends and acquaintances in the future. By the way, I wanted to cancel the order by phone after about 2 hours of waiting, when the boss said "order is ready and it can no longer be canceled" - ATTENTION: He's already done that with many others in my area, just with that The customers still wait a few minutes (well it wasn't a few minutes, it was still another 30 minutes, but okay). The only one I really feel sorry for is the supplier who can do absolutely nothing for his lying boss. In contrast, I would like to give the supplier a big compliment; he was super helpful and polite at the same time.

I have never eaten such a delicious pizza in Bamberg. I order here very often and every time I and my family are very satisfied.
