Restaurant with beer garden, which is also accessible for wheelchair users. Food tasty and good. The place is very cramped and often very crowded. Reservation advisable. Ambience needs improvement.

Ordered takeaway for 3 people on Sunday evening. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. The cucumber "salad" consisted of thick slices of cucumbers, with thick pieces of onions as a topping, the "dressing" consisted of water, oil, vinegar and maybe some salt. The bruscetta were thick slices of bread that were baked at most, with coarse pieces of tomato and coarse garlic as a topping; here too, the seasoning was significantly saved. Then we ordered 3 different dishes of tagliatelle, the "sauce" was uniform with minor differences and consisted mostly of oil and tasted more like butter than cream. In the version with "tomato sauce" only tomato paste was added. The salmon tasted like nothing. All 3 dishes were seasoned rather sparingly, but all 3 had chili flakes, which were not mentioned in any dish as a spicy sauce, for example, and are certainly not present in a salmon cream sauce. We had to wait 80 minutes and spend over €50, which was an absolute disgrace when we saw the “cucumber salad” for €6.50. Ate once, never again.

The pizza dough was disappointing, there was no salt in the dough, the cheese on the pizza has nothing to do with an Italian pizza... the staff behind the counter kept whispering something in each other's ears that came across as if they were talking about the guests...

I had often heard in the past that you can eat well here. After my visit there yesterday, I can only confirm this. The food was very tasty and filling. The staff and service were very friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to come back......

My favorite Italian next door. We like to get food there. It's always fresh, hot and delicious. Special requests are always implemented and customer loyalty is very important to the bosses.

You feel welcome here as a guest. Even late at night you can still get something delicious to eat here.

I can recommend this Italian country inn to everyone. The food is very tasty, whether pizza or the other dishes, such as fillets or steaks. The salads are all freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A reservation is recommended. My wife and I have eaten there several times and we are already looking forward to the next visit. The price-performance ratio is right here.

The food is outstanding! No matter whether pizza, pasta or appetizers! Absolute recommendation! Unfortunately, people are quite inflexible when it comes to 'special requests'. For example, you cannot change the types of pasta. If there is a dish with spaghetti on the menu, it is only available with spaghetti and not with other pasta... for whatever reason. But no matter, the food is a blast! :-)

The food is delicious! The salad is always fresh and crunchy! The pasta aldente! The pizza is crispy! The soups are fresh and well balanced! Salmon and mussels fresh and taste outstanding! The bruscetta was excellent and the service was familiar and personal! Our absolute favorite Italian!!!!

One star is actually too many. Maybe for the pizza. Pasta dishes are a mushy pile that almost looked like they had already been eaten. After our complaint, the very harsh statement from Giovanni: our guests know what to expect here. Not a word of regret or an apology. No more comment on this. After reading the reviews I had to be moved. We had our experiences before the Corona period. Nothing seems to have changed. It's good that there are other Italian restaurants to choose from in Ronsdorf.

Gemütlich rustikal eingerichtet, sehr nette Bedienung und wirklich gut zubereitete Speisen, Fleisch auf den Punkt gebraten,leckere Saucen.... Wir kommen wieder !

Eigentlich wollten wir nur mal eben spontan eine Pizza essen, allerdings sollten wir in einer Std. wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Abfuhr, die Std ist herum und wir kommen wohl gar nicht mehr. Warum ? Weil im Gastraum noch Platz war, um uns "abzufertigen". Bisher waren wir bei Giovanni immer sehr zufrieden, Essen gut, Leute nett, alles passt. So eine Gastfreundschaft ist sicherlich nicht förderlich.

Italienisches Restaurant mit Kneipencharakter. Tolles Filetsteak und abwechslungsreiche Beilagen. Die Pizza war nicht ganz so unser Geschmack. Preislich wirklich absolut fair und der Service war wirklich herzlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Essen und der Service sind optimal. Die Location sieht leider eher aus wie eine Kneipe, gemütlich ist was anderes. Der persönliche Kontakt und die freundlichen Mitarbeiter machen das aber allemal wett 👍 das Essen ist nach wie vor sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt 👍

Sehr leckere Pizza und gemütliches Ambiente!

Wir haben nun bereits einige Male dort Pizza gegessen, die jedes Mal super belegt war und fantastisch geschmeckt hat! Die Bedienungen sind alle super freundlich; der Gastraum wirkt ein wenig dunkel und erinnert an ein Vereinsheim 😉! Aber: das Essen ist super 👍🏻!!

Ich war mit meinem Mann und mit meinen beiden Kindern (8,2) dort essen. Wir wurden von einer sehr jungen netten Dame begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Sie Getränke wurden schnell aufgenommen und genauso schnell waren sie bei uns am Tisch. Die Speisekarte ist typisch "italienisch". Das Essen wurde schnell und heiß zum Tisch gebracht. Meine Lasagne war sehr lecker und auch die Pizza hat allen geschmeckt. Die Einrichtung ist einfach gehalten, aber doch gemütlich und einladend. Der Service war wirklich super. Ganz nette Bedienung und auch der Koch hat alle sehr nett im Gastraum begrüßt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und ich freue mich auf eine leckere Lasagne.

Wenn ihr z.B. auf der Suche nach einem gemütlichen Restaurant zu zweit seit, dann seit ihr hier richtig. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung und wenn man möchte dann ist's hier auch romantisch mit Kerzenlicht ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wirklich Landhausküche. Kein moderner Laden, aber gemütlich. So wie es sein soll. Das Essen und die Bedienung top. Gerne immer wieder.

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Portionen in Ordnung, am Service könnte man etwas feilen und das Ambiente erinnert ein wenig an eine gut eingerichtet Pommesbude, da sollte man unbedingt etwas dran machen

Meine Frau und ich waren am Samstag den 22.10. 2022 wie schon öfter im Restaurant. Wie immer hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen hervorragend. Da sag ich doch gerne bis zum nächsten Mal.

Werden das Lokal noch einmal ausprobieren und dann unsere Meinung hier schreiben. Anscheinend schmeckt es vielen und dann ist es auch einen weiteren Versuch wert. Bei unserem letzten und erstem Essen fanden wir sowohl den Chef wie auch die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich und der Service war wirklich sehr langsam und schlecht. Essen war ok aber auch nicht die Wucht aber jeder hat eine zweite Chance verdient. Danach mehr und hoffentlich eine bessere Bewertung

Wir essen regelmäßig "Bei Giovanni". Egal ob vor Ort oder zur Abholung, die Speisen sind immer gut zubereitet und schmecken uns jedes Mal sehr gut. Alle Gerichte der Speisekarte können bei Bedarf für die Kinder auch in kleineren Portionen gestellt werden. Auf Sonderwünsche wird nach Möglichkeit eingegangen, wir wurden in den vergangenen Jahren nie enttäuscht. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Tipp für alle, die dort essen möchten: vorab reservieren, oft ist viel los uns das hilft allen bei der Planung und schützt vor Enttäuschung, keinen Tisch zu bekommen ;-)

Tolles italienisches Lokal, einfach und gut. Angenehme Atmosphäre auch im Biergarten. Alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Pizza sehr lecker, Belag individuell wählbar, Preis incl. Salat sehr moderat. Gerne wieder.

Immer wieder ein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Küche und das Personal sind spitze. Die negativen Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar. Bei meinem Besuch war eine Gruppe von 20 Gästen zu bedienen und die restlichen Tische waren auch besetzt. Das Telefon ging ununterbrochen für Abholungen. Trotzdem wurde ich bedient und behandelt, wie immer. Wer viel Wert auf die Speisen legt und nicht unbedingt auf die Einrichtung, ist hier richtig.

Einfaches ordentliches Restaurant mit Biergarten. Essen war sehr gut (Bruschetta und Pizza), Hauswein war ebenfalls sehr gut und günstig. Personal supernett.
