be-lucca Restaurant in Düsseldorf

We were at the Be-Lucca in Düsseldorf with seven people on the occasion of my birthday, and I am simply speechless and deeply disappointed! My girlfriend had ordered a beautiful birthday cake with “Happy Birthday” written on it from a pastry shop to surprise me at the end of the evening. But what happened next is absolutely unbelievable to me: the restaurant owner actually charged EUR 5 per piece to serve us the cake we had already paid for! We paid more than 400 EUR for the meal and still the owner refused to bring us the cake without any additional charge! I have never experienced anything like this in the gastronomy world in Düsseldorf and I am stunned by this audacity and lack of hospitality. Such disrespectful behavior would be unthinkable from a real Italian, the owner is Albanian!

The food was ok, the service was good and the atmosphere - especially in the winter garden - was pleasant. Quite busy at lunchtime and would recommend making a reservation in advance.

It was our first time at be lucca. Very attentive service, excellent food and drinks. We sat in the front, modern area. The back room is a bit more rustic. There is also a chic outdoor area in front of the restaurant. We'll be back!

I've always enjoyed going to Be-Lucca, but yesterday I was extremely annoyed with the service. After much thought, I decided that it should be mentioned. In principle, especially in an upscale restaurant, the request for a tip should not be forced if the waiter's service was rude and unsympathetic and we deliberately did not want to give a tip. A repeat visit is currently out of the question for us.

The food is very tasty. Prices are high but still absolutely okay for the quality!

Was in the lower Carlsstadt again this afternoon. As always, everything was super delicious. It's a pleasure. The veal liver was fried to perfection and the risotto with chanterelles was well seasoned. I'd love to come back.

Absolutely excellent food. The slightly higher prices are appropriate for this. The service was a little too quick for me when it came to refills. And the food came very quickly after ordering. You get the feeling that you want to occupy the table again as quickly as possible. But the restaurant was only half full.

Ambiance is great! Service was good and friendly. Of course I can only rate what we ate. Goat cheese salad a bit overpriced. This sweetened balsamic dressing from the bottle should not be on it. The salad dressing was fresh, tasty and would have been enough. Goat cheese Creamy, but not enough for the price. The tuna sashimi was fresh and highly recommended. I think it's fair value for money here. Unfortunately, the truffle pasta with carpaccio was far too expensive. The pasta was dripping in truffle oil! You could expect a little more for fresh truffles (summer truffles would be enough) given the price. The veal liver was great and for that price I would order two portions. At the end of the day it was a bit overpriced for what was delivered. At €60 per person the menus should be clean.

Price performance absolutely does not match here👎. Food was an absolute disaster. I ordered the Wienerschnitzel, everything else but no schnitzel, the side dishes Drilinge and salad, the potatoes were cold and the salad with soggy old tomatoes. I haven't experienced anything like that in a really long time. The waitress was absolutely not interested in why we returned the plates almost full. This restaurant cannot be recommended at all 👎 save yourself the trouble and go eat somewhere else for the money.

A very nice restaurant, bigger than expected. Very friendly and professional staff. And nice for us, coincidentally also a Dutch-speaking hostess. Small but very nice terrace, not too busy and located in a very quiet street. This means you don't lose focus on your surroundings and can immerse yourself in the Italian atmosphere and the flavors of the delicious food! Compliments to the chef. But also the staff who helped us more than well and who have mastered the profession of catering and hospitality!! Thank you for a wonderful evening. 1 tip, the music box has a very annoying vibration, as if something is loose or broken. As a result, the music was not always pleasant to listen to. But it's a tip, it didn't change the fact that the rest was more than nice and well organised! ❤️

I had spaghetti with truffles and beef carpaccio. You can immediately smell the truffle aroma - a dream. Well presented and very tasty! Bread with dip was served with it. The service was also very nice and I got an espresso on the house. Great location not far from Carlsplatz. The prices are high but the quality also lives up to it. All in all perfect and therefore 5 stars!

Food was ok, but not for the price. There was next to no service. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink for two hours (it wasn't full). Toilets adequate, but not good. Dining table was not clean. At the end we also had to look for someone to pay for...admittedly, the staff preferred to watch football on TV...

Exceptionally tasty dishes - there were three of us - lovingly prepared. From zander fillet to goat cheese thaler to asparagus ravioli and pink fried tuna steak, it's a real treat. We are already looking forward to the next time.

One of the best Italians in Düsseldorf. Extremely courteous staff, the preparation is quick even when it's full and it always tastes really tasty. In addition to the fixed menu, there are often seasonal specialties such as asparagus. Price performance is definitely right here. A small deduction because sometimes you sit a little close together. I don't know why the reviews are so high, but we weren't satisfied at all. We waited an hour for the pasta, which cost €28.9, and it definitely wasn't truffle pasta. I make them better at home, they forgot our order! The service was slow and not that friendly, The waitress left a spoon and fork on the dining table without a napkin underneath! the salad with turkey and honey cost €24.90 and was not tasty at all! It's better to go to Casa Luigi next door, there's no comparison!

We had the veal liver and the truffle pasta on carpaccio at be-lucca. The liver was very good, but the pasta was not al dente at all and was partly sticky from the parmesan. Unfortunately, that wasn't appropriate for the price and the craftsmanship should have been much better - especially in an Italian restaurant. The service was quite inattentive, for example not asking if we wanted to order more wine after we were sitting in front of empty glasses. Ultimately, I wouldn't eat here again - given the prices, unfortunately there are much better restaurants in Düsseldorf in terms of both the quality of the food and the service.

Was here for a business lunch. Normally I'm no longer a fan of Italian cuisine because you can get it on almost every corner and it's simply nothing special anymore. However, I was immediately very impressed by your clear range of dishes, as no run-of-the-mill dishes are offered here. I ordered a pasta dish that couldn't have been more delicious. If I'm in Düsseldorf again, I'll definitely come back! By the way, the lavender spritz was incredibly delicious. I have it at home now too ;)

Top service, top ambience, top quality

Super chic atmosphere. We were served by a nice waitress and the waiting time was very short. I had the veal schnitzel which was very well prepared with cranberries and triplets. My friend who had the truffle pasta on carpaccio was also very satisfied. Thank you!

A very tasty restaurant and good atmosphere. I had truffle spaghetti with beef fillet and a very tasty sauce. The fillet was super tender and cooked perfectly. The truffle scent and taste of the pasta came through well. I also tried the lives. Definitely a recommendation too. Mild and delicate, just as it should. We had a long table in the back. It is tastefully decorated.

I've been going to Be-Lucca every two weeks for over two years. I made a reservation for Saturday at the beginning of the week and asked for a nice table upstairs because we wanted to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday here. In the end we were put downstairs in the last corner where the room temperature felt like 30 degrees. The service was subpar, hardly spoken, brusque and not even remotely trying. There were originally four triplets on my dish, and according to my complaint, some should follow. In the end there was mashed potatoes because there were no more triplets available…. Absolute impudence!!! No accommodation, no apology... As a regular guest, this was extremely disappointing!

Ich kann hier nur 5 Sterne dalassen. Es war wirklich ein toller Abend bei euch, alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war bombe. Wir kommen gerne wieder, weiter so.

Exzellentes Essen, hervorragende Qualität der Zutaten, die die höheren Preise rechtfertigt. Geschmackstechnisch war ich begeistert. Allerdings ist die Auswahl für Vegetarier verhältnismäßig klein. Auch den Service fand ich gut und sehr aufmerksam. Und der Lavendel Spritz 🤤👌🏼 Allerdings fand ich das Ambiente durchschnittlich. Wir saßen im vorderen Bereich, wo die Tische extrem nah aneinander standen. Wir waren zu 7., zu viert auf der Bank, sodass drei Leute aufstehen mussten, wenn die hinterste auf Toilette wollte. Darüber hinaus war der Geräuschpegel sehr hoch, auch weil die Musik ziemlich laut und basslastig war. Würde aber dennoch wiederkommen.

Gefühlt 4 Veranstaltungen im selben Raum zur selben Zeit. Angetrunkene Gäste gröhlen und singen lautstark. Eine Unterhaltung ohne Konter-Schreien" ist nicht möglich. Lücken werden mit Gästen zugepflastert. Hühner auf der Stange. 5 alte, halbgare Tortellini mit ranzigem Nachgeschmack werden in überwürzter Soße serviert. Zeit ist Mangelware, es sei denn, der Kellner will einem von dem überteuerten Wein andrehen. Wir durften 1 x Getränke nachbestellen, wurden aber 7 mal nach Wein gefragt. Der Herr mit dem Wein "schickt jemanden" für Getränke... wahrscheinlich ist der desaströse Aufenthalt nach 2 Flaschen Wein halbwegs erträglich...

Leckeres Essen, guter Service ...gerne wieder .

Wir waren zu zweit im be lucca. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen und gutem Service. + Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Rehrücken perfekt gegart. Carpaccio gute Portion und sehr lecker. Der Service (brünette Frau) war sehr aufmerksam und sehr charmant. Wieso keine 5 Sterne, sondern 3? - Preislich doch ein bisschen zu viel des Guten. Genau so gut auf dem Niveau kann man sogar in der gleichen Straße (z.B. Abbraccio) auch essen für einige Euro weniger. Zu zweit haben wir über 130 Euro bezahlt und das ohne Wein. 1x Vorspeise, 2x Hauptgericht, 2x Dessert, 1x Aperitif und 2 Flaschen Wasser. - Beim Rehrücken hätte für 35 Euro etwas mehr an Beilagen sein können, das war relativ dürftig. Nur ein kleiner Klacks Rotkohl. - Die Tische stehen im vorderen Bereich sehr eng, etwas mehr Luft, damit man vernünftig ein- und ausparken kann, wäre toll. - Am Ende wurde man gefragt, ob man noch einen Absacker wie Limoncello haben möchte. Die Frage wurde so gestellt, dass man davon ausging, dass es aufs Haus ist - was bei den generellen Preisen und der Rechnung erwartbar wäre und auch in anderen Lokalitäten ähnlichen Niveaus immer so gehandhabt wird. Der kleine 2 cl Limoncello stand dann mit saftigen 4,50 auf der Rechnung. - Meine Onlinereservierung war nicht auffindbar. Insgesamt würden wir vermutlich aus genannten Negativpunkten nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Man sitzt sehr nett und der Innenhof ist im Sommer nicht überdacht. Essen ist okay allerdings finde ich es preislich überzogen für das was ich qualitativ bekomme.

Waren an Silvester dort, es war ein gelungener Abend. Schöne Tischdeko und tolles Ambiente. Der Service war auch solide. Der Thunfisch-Tartar mit Mango auf Wakame ist sehr lecker und wirklich zu empfehlen. Das Steak war auch on point, die Trüffelspaghetti dazu jedoch leider etwas fad, das können andere besser (z. B. das Basils um die Ecke). Kommen trotzdem wieder!

Забронировали стол на 20:00. Позвонили в 20:00 предупредить, что мы задержимся. В ответ услышала «что вы хотите? У нас все забронировано, мест нет». Пришли в 20:15 и еще 10 минут ждали пока освободится наш стол. Официант с каменным лицом принял заказ. Обслуживание не заслуживает даже одной звезды. На нас никто не обращал внимания. Еда очень посредственная. Сделайте что то с настроением официантов, нет желания смотреть на недовольные лица за ужином.

Perfekt auf einen "Fehler" reagiert! Waren hier am Wochenende essen (unbedingt reservieren!). Die Ente hat mir leider garnicht geschmeckt hat weshalb ich nur 1/3 aß. Als der Kellner abräumte und mich fragte, ob es mir nicht geschmeckt habe und ich ihm ehrlich antwortete brachte er mir kostenfrei ein Ersatzessen, welches sehr (!) lecker war. Ich finde Fehler können mal passieren, entscheidend ist wie man damit umgeht und dort wurde vorbildlich damit umgegangen. Toll, dass hier die Zufriedenheit des Kunden noch oberste Priorität hat, vielen Dank dafür!

Wenn man nicht zur High society der Stammgäste gehört, fühlt man sich wenig willkommen, fast schon gequält bedient. Schade, denn das Essen ist wirklich gut. Hoffe diese Arroganz wird nicht mal zum Fallstrick. Ich werde vermutlich nicht wieder kommen.

11時半ごろに伺いました。キッチンは12時オープンとのことで先にドリンクを頂いて待ちました。ランチメニューがあるのが良かったです。トリュフパスタのカルパッチョ添えを頂きましたが美味しかったです。

Ich finde das Beluca, seit Jahren wirklich gut. Das Essen hat eine gleichbleibende Qualität und ist immer wieder hervorragend. Was mich allerdings in den letzen Jahren erheblich stört ist, das Mann / Frau eng an eng sitzt. Wenn ein Tisch für zwei Personen reserviert ist, man grundsätzlich den Katzentisch im Gang im vorderen Teil zugewiesen bekommt. Erst nach mehrmaligem Fragen nach einem besseren Tisch erhält man dann auch einen etwas besseren. Intimität ist hier nicht angesagt, man sitzt eng auf eng. Was mich aber am meisten stört, ist, dass man grundsätzlich nach einem weiteren Getränk fragen muss, eine Dessertkarte oder Getränkekarte für einen Digestif erhält man auch erst nach Nachfragen und freundlicher Kellner geht eindeutig anders. Was Mann bei mir dann aber auch deutlich am Trinkgeld zu spüren bekommt. Ich verstehe es wenn ein Restaurant voll ist, das alles etwas dauern kann, aber ich finde Mann kann als Service Mitarbeiter auch einmal pro aktiv auf die Gäste zu gehen. Ich frage mich wann wurde das verlernt. Gutes Essen, Service aber deutlich verbesserungwürdig

Netter Italiener flotter Service

Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Das Essen war auch lecker. Allerdings waren wir vom Service sehr entäuscht. Unfreundlich und sehr lange Wartezeiten für jeden Schritt. Trotz Reservierung vor 2 Wochen, Tisch am Eingang erhalten, wo es kalt ist und alle Leute warten.

Klasse Bedienung, super zahrte Steaks nur wenige Gehminuten von der KÖ entfernt.

Katastrophal vom Anfang bis zum Ende! Für 20 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert, draußen in der Kälte wurden wir 50 Minuten stehen gelassen, bis unser Tisch frei war. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Frage ob wir bereits was trinken wollen, nur genervte Blicke, dass wir da standen. Am Tisch angekommen ein ungedeckter Tisch, immer noch keine Entschuldigung für das lange Warten trotz Reservierung. Kein Brot vor der Hauptspeise, das unsere Nachbartische alle hatten, Kellner die sich fast geprügelt und mit Strohhalmen und alten Früchten abgeworfen haben. Ich habe dem Restaurant die Chance gegeben über diesen Abend zu sprechen, um diese Bewertung nicht schreiben zu müssen. Ein respektloseres, entwürdigenderes und asozialeres Gespräch habe ich noch nie geführt. Beim raus gehen wurden wir dann auch noch von der Kellnerin gefragt, ob wir denn auch gezahlt hätten, das war die Höhe. Wer in Düsseldorf in dem Preis Segment essen gehen möchte, sollte dort definitiv nicht hin gehen. Gut ausgebildetes Personal ist im be-lucca leider Mangelware.

Le point fort de Be Lucca réside dans sa quête de créativité dans l’assiette. Chaque plat est une explosion de saveurs, démontrant un réel souci du détail et de la qualité. L’accueil de la serveuse a été des plus agréables, ajoutant une note chaleureuse à notre expérience. Le patron, quant à lui, s’est montré extrêmement sympathique et attentif. Je suis déjà impatient de renouveler cette expérience gastronomique qui m’a comblé. Bravo à toute l’équipe pour ce superbe moment.
