We were at the Braustadl for the first time today and we were thrilled! Great food, super nice and quick service, always with a smile on their faces, whether on duty or after work! Keep it up, we will recommend you!

We had sauerbraten, Viennese style schnitzel and Schäufele. The sauerbraten was dry meat (no leaf shoulder) with dumplings of a strange consistency, the schnitzel was just as dry, not from the top shell but butterfly schnitzel and hardly seasoned. The Schäufele was okay but the dumplings also had a strange consistency.

Very attentive and friendly service. The food was absolutely amazing. Parking garage is also 20 meters away. Everything great!!!

We were very satisfied. We decided at short notice to go out to eat with the children. Reserved a table online, ordered and dined there, great. Above all, the highlight for the children was the new “Uschi” service. A robot woman who supports the staff and takes over work. There were nine of us and we were thrilled. Had a nice reserved table with open glass doors and a view of the beer garden after reservations were not possible there. The food and the unusual drinks are highly recommended. The staff is courteous and our waiter was all in on the fun. We would be happy to come back.

Very good food, friendly and attentive service. A service representative comes at regular intervals and asks whether everything is OK or whether further orders are required. We recommend!

Unfortunately, we didn't find the quality of the food to be great: the restaurant seems to be geared towards quantity rather than class. Good service, a nice atmosphere and child-friendliness only help to a limited extent.

Great service and delicious home cooking

The only home-brewed beer is bad and sour, when asked they say that's the way it should be. It's definitely bad. No insight from the employees. Ugh-worst beer in the entire region, also the most expensive, and poor service without a clue.

My beer was sour/bad, so nothing... if I go to a brewery, the beer shouldn't be bad 🤷‍♀️ and at €4.4 it wasn't a bargain either

Good selection of drinks and very courteous service. The food was not what we expected. The dishes on offer suggest traditional cuisine. The food doesn't taste traditional, but, as my friend put it: special. We had roulade and sauerbraten in gingerbread sauce. I think the chef had the idea of ​​giving a modern twist to traditional dishes. If so, perhaps this should be noted on the map. So we were a little disappointed.

Food is more reminiscent of bar/beer garden quality, not the classic tavern food like in other restaurants. Beer and service are good.

We went to the restaurant for lunch today. Friendly quick service, perfect food. Cheese spaetzle was delicious, the salad and the sauce were great Bratwurst with sauerkraut (the bratwurst is extra class) My tip: enjoy it plain - without mustard We'll be back - thank you very much.

We celebrated a 60th birthday and everything was very well organized and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the inn.

Great food with great service. Unfortunately, one star deducted because I didn't get what I ordered. But it was still tasty and the waitress was visibly embarrassed. For the 5th star, an accommodation or compensation would have been nice. Unfortunately it didn't come. Prices are fair and true to the poetry. The table names are very creative as are the names of the dishes. If you are looking for something in Coburg you should eat here.

We were visiting from the Sauerland because it was very tasty and everyone was full. At our table there was only grilled knuckle and Schäufele ❤️💋♥️always happy ❤️

Ambience somewhat traditional Bavarian. If you like it, Coburg is probably not a good fit. Service on point. When you eat, you come up with something and it tastes really good (asparagus...)

We have been there very often. But unfortunately we noticed that the quality (and also the quantity) has decreased significantly. The prices have risen significantly. So last week we paid just under €16 for shish kebab. We got two mini skewers (3 pieces of meat) and a handful of fries. It tasted good, but it was a child's portion. Once we got goulash soup that was slimy and lumpy...the starch to thicken it hadn't been stirred properly (we were told). We wanted mustard with the pork knuckle. We also got it...for 30ct per bag. That is not how it works. The service (the staff) is really very good, friendly, accommodating. The atmosphere is harmonious, which is why we keep going there. ...But no more for food now. We were disappointed too often.

It was our first visit to the brewery. Went to Coburg in our motorhome over Easter and honestly this restaurant should be visited when you're in the city. Friendly reception, we were assigned our reserved seats (always good to reserve in advance, possible online). Large selection of regional beers and good Franconian cuisine, of course with the Coburg dumplings (delicious). Priced thick in the frame.

Because our married couple from Nuremberg really wanted to eat "Coburgerrutscher", which is difficult on a Tuesday evening in Coburg, we found what we were looking for at Brauhaus-Stadl. The atmosphere is very nice and the service staff are very friendly. But mainly the sauerbraten, a duck and a game dish tasted excellent. A successful meal! Then to the Congress House to see the 12 Tenors. Our guests were thrilled and would like to come back to the Brauhaus-Stadl on their next visit!

Nice, albeit touristy, atmosphere, very tasty Franconian food, great service, large selection of beer. For us as northern Germans the prices are fair, but by Franconian standards they are on the upper side.

Coburger dumplings, Schäuferle, schnitzel and salad with pomegranate dressing were really great for us tourists! If you want to eat home-style and a little more regional, you're in good hands here. Delicious beer rounds off the meal. There are four stars for the ambience because it didn't particularly stand out.

Modern concept, delicious food.

A very nice place to eat in the evening - whether as a couple or with a group. The service is very attentive and friendly. However, the prices are quite high. Today we were there for lunch. There was an extensive menu and the food was good.

Table reservations went smoothly electronically with confirmation and reminders from the restaurant. Our request for smaller portions of the recommended dish of the day (beef with merch) was easily fulfilled. The food was delicious. If the service staff would also make concrete suggestions for dessert/coffee to the guest without being asked, it would be perfect. E.g. "May I offer you some more? Today we have fresh/homemade... Can I bring you some? Otherwise: gladly again.

Unfortunately my expectations were not met. The service was great, many thanks to the smart, good-humoured young man. The ambience is pleasant, a mix of rustic and modern, without appearing dusty. A cocktail in which the ice first has to cool down the temperature of the juice and dumplings that are almost porridge-like in consistency don't work at all. The taste of the food was average at best, unfortunately nothing special and far from "food like your mother's".

As far as good food, good value for money

We've been there many times now. There is no comparison to our other visits. The staff is nice but gives strange answers when asked. The announcement as to why there is no more goulash was only made in the summer! The food is disproportionate to the prices. The schnitzel variants "Viennese style, stuffed with onions and another one were unfortunately not pan-fried schnitzels but perhaps from the deep fryer? Absolutely not recommended. The sauerbraten, on the other hand, was very good. All in all we won't eat there anymore. That changes maybe again.

Rarely have I had such a bad experience of local German cuisine. The service and atmosphere are fine. But you can easily get better food elsewhere.

Hearty brewery with a large selection of beers and Bavarian specialties. Tie reservations are recommended.

Leckeres Essen, schneller Service und gutes Bier

Für das, was man geboten bekommt, ist das Essen teuer. Beim Garnelensalat mit Granatapfeldressing fand sich zB kein einziger Granatapfelkern. Das Dressing hatte einen "künstlichen" Geschmack.

Top Schnitzel Wiener Art und herausragend gute Pommes! ♥️ dazu freundliche Bedienung und gemütliche Location (wir saßen draußen). Was will man mehr? :) gerne wieder!

Ein nettes, im rustikalen Stil eingerichtetes Lokal, zentral gelegen, gegenüber vom Parkhaus Mauer. Ganz leckere Speisen, vom Salat bis zu den bekannten Coburger Klößen und Bräten. Es gibt auch kleine Portionen. Sehr zu empfehlen!! Öffnungszeiten beachten, Reservierung notwendig.

6 Personen beim Silvester Essen: Leider nicht den reservierten Tisch bekommen sondern ein Tisch direkt an der Tür an dem es sehr zugig war😬 aber die Chefin und der Chef haben trotz allem 5 Sterne verdient für das schöne Lokal und der super netten Bedingungen es war einfach klasse. Essen : 5 Sterne Service : 5 Sterne Lokal : 5 Sterne selbstgebrautes Bier: 5 Sterne Danke für den Snaps auf's Haus 😁

Heute am Silvesterabend mit 30 Personen gegessen. Die gutbürgerliche Küche war qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung für Silvester verhältnisse. Die neuen Azubis waren sehr engagiert und freundlich. Die Haupt-Servicekraft war sehr professionell und gut drauf. Die bestellten Getränke wurden schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Im Großen und Ganzen absolut zu empfehlen und ein Besuch wert.

Gemütliches Lokal, leckeres Essen ( Leberknödel Suppe, Pizza Schnitzel/Jägerschnitzel) freundliche Bedienung, sehr junges Team aber lernwillig und freundlich. Es war ein schöner Abend!

Wir waren an Weihnachten hier Mittag essen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist eine Mischung aus modern und traditionell. Das Essen war lecker und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Reservierung hat sehr gut funktioniert, Service sehr gut nur die Weihnachtskarte hat nicht alle Wünsche erfüllt. Wir kommen dann nach Weihnachten mal wieder, um rustikaler zu essen.

Preislich noch okay. Essen ist immer lecker und die Portionen groß. Die Bedienungen sind in der Regel auch auf zackund sehr freundlich.

Wir waren als Gäste seit langen Jahren mal wieder aus der Pfalz ( Kreis Kaiserslautern ) in Coburg. Natürlich in Verbindung mit Besuch des sehr schönen Weihnachtsmarkt. Waren am 15. Dezember 2023 im Brauhaus Stadl mit dem Essen, dem Service und der Freundlichkeit des Personals sehr zufrieden. Dieses Lokal kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Gute Getränkeauswahl, da bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen war auch sehr gut und endlich mal ein Wirtshaus, bei dem nicht mit der Soße gegeizt wird 🥰 Servie war 1A.

Sehr tolles Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und gutem Bier. Um 23:30 wurden wir am Samstag sehr unschön verabschiedet. Bei der Frage nach einer weiteren Runde, wurden wir sehr direkt darauf hingewiesen, dass wir der letzten Tisch sind. Immerhin einen kurzen durften wir noch ordern….

Kedves kiszolgálás, finom ételek. 😊Olyan puha volt a hús hogy kés se kellett hozzá, a gombóc nagyon puha volt, 😊 a mézeskalácsos szósz is nagyon finom volt.
