The Jägerschnitzel was edible, but for that price, I at least expect some effort from a homemade mushroom cream sauce. The mushrooms were clearly canned. The whole (unsliced) mushroom caps were all pretty much the same size and shape – a cynic might suspect something fishy. And anyone who cooks regularly knows the difference between fresh and canned mushrooms. The sauce was so bland and lacking in substance that it really tasted and looked like a convenience product. A shame – the restaurant's concept is good. On the positive side, the staff was attentive and friendly. But since the food is the most important thing for me when dining out, I can only give it 2 stars.

Always friendly and courteous! We returned with two friends and ordered three schnitzels! Super friendly. The Veste Trunk is excellent!

Great restaurant with typical Franconian cuisine

We tried the home-brewed beer 🍺. 5.6% ABV and quite unusual. A bit too special for my taste, but that's a matter of personal preference. The cucumber schnapps, however, was super cool and something different. It was busy, but they had everything under control, and we didn't eat there. It's very rustic and beautiful with all the wood.

In terms of food, service, ambiance, and everything else, this is a good place. However, there are two things that could be improved. Firstly, the selection of main courses. It's rather limited. Sure, you can usually find something, but a bit more variety would be nice. Secondly, and more critically, the prices are quite high. Of course, I know these days you hardly ever find a dish for just 10 or 14 euros. But 21 euros for a cordon bleu, some croquettes, and a bit of sauce is quite steep. A small salad on the side costs extra. Admittedly, the portions are large and the food tastes good. But when you have to pay over 30 euros for a meal like that and a drink, it's a bit of a letdown. So, what could have been a nice experience is left with a rather mixed feeling. If it were just about the food, I would certainly go back, but considering the prices, well... Perhaps others don't see it that way. If someone asks me if I can recommend this, my answer is: the food is good and everything else is good too, just be prepared for somewhat higher prices.

I didn't enjoy the food very much. The meat was good, but the sauerkraut was overcooked and far too thick. The dumplings weren't to my taste.

Nice restaurant. We had a reservation for 14 people. Unfortunately, we were split between 3 tables, which wasn't ideal. The food tastes very good. However, for the price, you'd expect to be full. A cordon bleu with 5 croquettes for almost €22 is quite excessive.

We were there the last few days. Unfortunately, the food was really bad. The sauerbraten, the pork shoulder, and the chicken schnitzel tasted absolutely bland, as if they'd been reheated. My cola was some kind of syrup that had been diluted with water. If even the cola doesn't taste good, we're not coming back. I hope they improve things.

So here they are – the Coburger Rutscher. Not the tennis balls from Munich's "Brezn Knödel," but delicate potato dumplings that seem too soft but are delicious. The beer is a matter of taste, but if you don't fancy the home-brewed beer, there's a selection of other beers. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere round out the delicious food offerings (not AI-generated text, but written voluntarily).

We arrived around 6:30 p.m. and had a reservation. The very first thing the waiter told us was that a lot of the food was already sold out. That was a real shame, of course. Otherwise, the food was good, nothing special. The beef roulade was cold inside.

We spontaneously stopped by this brewery without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome, were assigned a table, and were able to order drinks super quickly. The food (1 shoulder of pork, 1 knuckle of pork, and 1 roulade) arrived promptly, was hot, and looked delicious. The meat was falling right off the bone, the rind was crispy, and the dumpling was a dream. The sauce was delicious, and the side salad with pomegranate dressing, as an alternative to red cabbage, was also very tasty and fresh. Definitely NOT a convenience food option for me. All three of us were thrilled and can only recommend this brewery.

The brewery offers very good dishes such as roulades with Coburg dumplings and similar dishes. The home-brewed Vestebier was excellent. The staff, dressed in matching dirndls or lederhosen, were very accommodating and very friendly. I can only highly recommend this restaurant. Update!!! We ate at the brewery again yesterday... and were a bit disappointed. The quality of the food was very good as always (Franconian Sauerbraten and Pfeffercremebraten, both with dumplings), but there wasn't much else on the menu, except for maybe two or three different schnitzels. One dish was even canceled by 6 p.m.!! Conclusion: The quality of the food is still good, but the selection is really meager. No roulades, no cheese spaetzle, no food surprises like the pizza schnitzel. When I go out to eat, I don't expect a huge selection, which usually means the quality suffers, but I do expect a bit more in terms of food selection. It was a Tuesday and it's holiday season... is that why??? The "Stadl" was quite busy inside and in the "garden" throughout the evening. The staff was plentiful and friendly, but sometimes they lacked attention, i.e., they didn't look at the guests when they wanted to order something. As you know, costs have also increased in the restaurant industry, with dishes at the Brauhaus Stadl increasing by about €2. However, that's no reason for us to stop going to our favorite restaurant when we have a craving and appetite for Franconian cuisine. But yesterday's visit was a bit disappointing for us. We still hope for better times at our brewery.

Beautiful beer garden across the street. The Schäuferla (a kind of sausage) is very tasty and plentiful.

The schnitzel was okay, but the sauce ruined it. It was more like a paprika sauce than a hunter's sauce. The mushrooms were fresh and good. The salad was mediocre: shriveled tomatoes, and everything else just thrown into a bowl with a bit of sauce on top. They could really put more effort into it, especially considering the 4.6 stars. The dish of the day, stuffed zucchini with tomato sauce, had no flavor at all. Nothing was seasoned, which is a shame. The waiters are good at their jobs, but they speak very broken German. You often have to repeat yourself when ordering or answering questions. All in all, it was quite solid, but it didn't blow us away. But that's what you'd expect from the reviews. We liked the robot the most, as did the waiters' outfits. However, the 4.7 rating is unjustified here.

It would definitely have earned one or two more stars...but with such a waitress (in a dirndl on June 21st at 7:00 PM), who actually refused to serve customers and then ridiculed customers with colleagues, clearly visible to all the guests...That's completely unacceptable! Otherwise, the food, served by two very friendly kitchen staff, was really very good....due to the incidents within our tour group (sales over €400), I, at least, will not be using the restaurant a second time....

They need +20min for a beer even though the shop is de facto empty. Then I went to the Italian around the corner and there they have the same beer also in cold for half the price.

The service was very attentive, friendly and committed. The food was mixed. Two in our group had the Schäufele (dry, not crispy, lacking in flavor) with sauerkraut (overcooked and cold). The other dishes were good to very good (cordon blue). The atmosphere is appealing and the prices are okay.

The sauerbraten with this sauce is a stunner and worth 5*. The Coburger dumpling with its mushy consistency is also tasty. We were guests here twice. The bratwursts with sauerkraut were okay. But today I ate a sausage salad. I was probably the only one who ordered this for days because it wasn't particularly enjoyable. On the contrary, the bread was old and dry, the onions were strangely discolored, musty, had a greasy consistency and the rest of it didn't smell fresh but rather rancid in my opinion. I also think the green placemats could be given a thorough cleaning. They are very stained and unsightly and some of the tables were not wiped down, but were sticky from previous drinks. It's actually a shame that it's handled so carelessly.

Very good restaurant, food is very good Services is on point.

A very nice, rustic pub, just like you'd expect in Bavaria, with a slightly modern feel, but the staff unfortunately doesn't quite fit the bill. There were a lot of communication issues, and the robot waiter didn't fit the concept at all. The food, however, was really good Bavarian food. And so was the beer, of course.

The best shoulder of pork I've ever eaten, along with the yeast dumplings and, above all, the vanilla sauce, was exquisite, and the very good, distinctive home-brewed beer. Friendly and prompt service, a cozy atmosphere. I'd gladly return!
