We didn't eat anything, but we were there and used the facility to tap ourselves. A nice idea in itself and has some event charm. Unfortunately we had to throw away the first half liter of the four beers offered because it smelled extremely bad and tasted bad and sour. Apparently the facility had not been used for a while and the beer on tap was no longer good. The service itself was okay and the atmosphere is quite nice.

Excellent restaurant that I know well since years. Incredible traditional German food with good and friendly service. And even , in this time with Bayer Music. We spent nice dinner . Viel Spaß, Bis Bald !

Food: Meat, pork knuckle and shoulder – boring, unseasoned, tasteless. Potato pancakes – terrible, noticeable bits of raw potatoes and under seasoned. Sauce – like a convenience food from the supermarket, chemical and tasteless. The sauces of both dishes tasted the same. Drinks were OK, but we came to try the German cuisine, which we generally enjoyed, and left disappointed. Service: The waitress walked past us several times in the entrance area without saying a word, so we took the cards ourselves and sat down. The service was nice, but we didn't feel comfortable there. Edit: The prices were too high for such a weak kitchen. Also, I saw on my Google account that my review wasn't published?

The brewery offers very good food such as roulades with Coburger dumplings and similar dishes. The home-brewed Vestebier was delicious. The staff, in matching dirndls or lederhosen, were very accommodating and very friendly. I can recommend this restaurant highly recommend.

A lovely evening and very friendly staff, courteous and attentive. Food went like this, but that's probably a matter of taste. I actually like ride-ons, but the Franconian ones were too mushy for me. I know the sauerbraten sauce differently and better. Overall everything is okay, but it doesn't have to be a second time. The noise level/acoustics were far too high for me, everything was loud and the store wasn't even half full.

The food was solidly good, depending on the dish. The service was absolutely first class and that on busy Boxing Day. A young gentleman served us at table 4, really absolutely great service!! Unfortunately we didn't ask for the name

Also echt jetzt. Das hätte ich in Coborch gar net vermutet. Preislich zwar etwas teuer als auf dem Land aber wirklich sehr gute Hausmannskost. Geschmacklich alle bestellten Gerichte 1a und ansprechend angerichtet, die Coborcher Rutschä perfekt. Service am Amfang etwas schleppend aber aufgrund der netten Kollegen nicht perfekt aber einfach stimmig. Der Besuch hat uns allen gefallen. Bestimmt kommen wir nochmal vorbei.

We had reserved a table there for dinner (for 3 people), without which we certainly wouldn't have been able to get a seat. When we called we were also told where to park (parking garage right next to it). Nice atmosphere, staff friendly and food tasted very good (we had the pork knuckle 3 times, sauerkraut came in an extra bowl and an empty plate was even given for the bones)

We were there for the first time and were greeted by a very friendly young man who recommended a table to us. The menu was clear, praise God. The ambience of the restaurant was a mix of Bavarian economy and Irish pub. The service proved to be very friendly, competent and accommodating. Happy, Franconian, fresh. Like the ambience in the old yet new style. The home brew was also perfect and made you want to linger.

An extra stopover was made in Coburg to enjoy these heavenly tender dumplings. The Schäufele didn't disappoint me either. The crispy rind turned out very well!

We had sauerbraten, Viennese style schnitzel and Schäufele. The sauerbraten was dry meat (no leaf shoulder) with dumplings of a strange consistency, the schnitzel was just as dry, not from the top shell but butterfly schnitzel and hardly seasoned. The Schäufele was okay but the dumplings also had a strange consistency.

There were nine of us and we were thrilled. Had a nice reserved table with open glass doors and a view of the beer garden after reservations were not possible there. The food and the unusual drinks are highly recommended. The staff is courteous and our waiter was all in on the fun. We would be happy to come back.

The only home-brewed beer is bad and sour, when asked they say that's the way it should be. It's definitely bad. No insight from the employees. Ugh-worst beer in the entire region, also the most expensive, and poor service without a clue.

My beer was sour/bad, so nothing... if I go to a brewery, the beer shouldn't be bad 🤷‍♀️ and at €4.4 it wasn't a bargain either

Good selection of drinks and very courteous service. The food was not what we expected. The dishes on offer suggest traditional cuisine. The food doesn't taste traditional, but, as my friend put it: special. We had roulade and sauerbraten in gingerbread sauce. I think the chef had the idea of ​​giving a modern twist to traditional dishes. If so, perhaps this should be noted on the map. So we were a little disappointed.

Great food with great service. Unfortunately, one star deducted because I didn't get what I ordered. But it was still tasty and the waitress was visibly embarrassed. For the 5th star, an accommodation or compensation would have been nice. Unfortunately it didn't come. Prices are fair and true to the poetry. The table names are very creative as are the names of the dishes. If you are looking for something in Coburg you should eat here.

We have been there very often. But unfortunately we noticed that the quality (and also the quantity) has decreased significantly. The prices have risen significantly. So last week we paid just under €16 for shish kebab. We got two mini skewers (3 pieces of meat) and a handful of fries. It tasted good, but it was a child's portion. Once we got goulash soup that was slimy and lumpy...the starch to thicken it hadn't been stirred properly (we were told). We wanted mustard with the pork knuckle. We also got it...for 30ct per bag. That is not how it works. The service (the staff) is really very good, friendly, accommodating. The atmosphere is harmonious, which is why we keep going there. ...But no more for food now. We were disappointed too often.
