Wir waren zu dritt dort. 2 Essen waren " ok " Das dritte Essen war ungenießbar. Nach Reklamation wurde uns von der Küche bestätigt das man es nicht essen könnte und ab sofort nicht mehr anbieten wollte. Es gab keine Entschuldigung allerdings brauchten wir das 3. Essen nicht zu bezahlen was ja wohl auch normal war. NIE WIEDER

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The service was good, but the man who brought the food still has a lot to learn about how to serve people in a friendly manner.

I met my girlfriend at the Bavaria Alm every four weeks. Although we always thought it was a shame that the music didn't fit the ambience, we always felt comfortable. Today I had the salad with chicken... Solid, although not necessarily plentiful for €17.60. I asked for a little more dressing. I had €2.70 on the bill!?! as a post. And I think that's really clearly exaggerated.

The food was ok. The waitresses were very nice and attentive.

Men onze kinderen in dit restaurant gegeten. Het restaurant is mooi en sfeervol ingericht. Ondanks dat we bij de reservering hadden aangegeven dat ons zoontje jarig was, werd hier geen enkele aandacht aan geschonken. Het eten was prima, al waren de pannenkoeken van de kinderen aan de koude kant. Personeel is vriendelijk. Al met al een super leuk concept waar men een beetje extra aandacht veel meer uitgehaald kan worden.

No. Way too loud. Service borderline. Had reserved a table. We had to sit in the very corner in front of a wall, were given the table by the table neighbor because they had left, but were not allowed to sit there because someone had made a reservation an hour later. Unbelievable but true

The service problem has been sorted and one waitress worked her butt off to serve everyone, she was really good and made the evening good. Food as always was top !

Unfortunately it has decreased significantly in the last few months. I've been there several times for Sunday brunch and the food selection, the availability of the food throughout the brunch time (-2 p.m.) and the quality of the food have significantly decreased. The prices of the drinks are still very high. I find the staff very friendly and attentive, it fully deserves 4 stars. Annoying: The stilted, artificial comments here from Bavaria Alm when someone has given negative reviews 🙄

It is still a good address for Bavarian cuisine. Nice service, food good. The large fireplace also makes it cozy.

Gute Auswahl an den Backwaren, Aufschnitt auch okay, aber wenig Käse, kein Joghurt, kein geschnittenes Obst, nur ganze Äpfel und Birnen. Es ist schlechter geworden, nicht mehr so gut wie früher.

Unfortunately a failure :( The location is positive, it is really nice and cozy. Unfortunately that was it. The food was really not good. The Flädlesuppe was extremely salty, the Jägersoße was not a sauce but brown goo, and half the chicken was just not juicy. It was extremely dry and tasted like it had been warmed up. Not even the fries were good. Our son had a children's plate with nuggets and fries. Of course, we are aware that a "children's plate" is a correspondingly small portion. The quantity of nuggets was ok. But the tiny portion of fries was a joke even for a children's plate. We passed the criticism on to the lady from the service (who of course couldn't do anything about it). Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We went for brunch on Sunday. The food was super tasty. The knuckles in particular put a light in my eyes.

We ate there with friends and had a great lunch that we really enjoyed. The selection of dishes appealed to us. The ambience is very well planned and with nice accessories, such as: Photos from the 60s. The wood and the fireplace contributed very well to the well-being. We were served extremely politely and courteously by Florian, which deserves an additional star. 5 stars for the service. For me a very clear recommendation.

The staff is very friendly and quick. In fact, there is Bavarian cuisine and home cooking. Everything tastes very good and is beautifully and typically prepared. I feel comfortable here, like at home.

Cozy, very good and friendly service. However, at the price of 95 euros for 4 people, including an 8-year-old child and an 86-year-old senior with two drinks per person, I would like to have more choice of sausage and cheese, instead of 2 to 3 types of discounter stacked sausage. Otherwise very tasty.

Went there for dinner with 9 people yesterday. Always been satisfied so far. Not yesterday for the first time. Portion of fried potatoes with the schnitzel wasn't even a handful! Service looks unprofessional. It's a shame.

The food was good. Service very friendly and helpful. A point deducted for me is the outdoor area. The staircase from the parking lot: tripping hazard due to missing stones in the way. The wooden floor was partially covered with ice. There should be more spread.

The Bavaria Alm offers delicious food in a Bavarian atmosphere. You can sit both inside and outside. Even though it's often full here, you can still have a good time. Always worth a visit.

Feel good on the Ruhrgebiet Alm!!! Welcome to a cozy, cozy atmosphere with small private rooms for pleasant team evenings. Delicious, hearty and, if necessary, light food with excellent liquids to wash it down with. And palate-friendly desserts to fill the gaps. Highly recommended. ONLY pay attention to the wooden beams in front of the alpine pasture in wet weather...very very slippery!!!!!

We were there for breakfast and were very pleasantly surprised. The buffet was plentiful and tasty, and the price was more than reasonable for the service. Personally, I find it very pleasant that the restaurant doesn't get too loud even when it's full. This is extremely annoying for me with other providers with a similar focus.

It was a really nice evening with a great backdrop. The food was excellent and the service was super friendly and on point. Despite the high number of visitors, the acoustics were very pleasant and people could chat in peace. There are optical partitions between the table groups, so you felt a certain privacy but could still keep an overview!!

Great place to have a nice meal. Alpine flair for free with good food and drink. The service was also quick and very friendly. The chicken was nice and tender with crispy skin. As it should be. The rice pudding for dessert was also really tasty. I can easily recommend the Bavaria Alm!

Unfortunately I can only give a few stars for the service because the place was full that evening and there was only a small number of service staff. Two people for the whole store is simply unreasonable. For the guests AND the staff. But since they were both very, very nice, it was at least enough for three stars. After all, they can't help it if staff are missing. The food and ambience were perfect. If I happen to be in the area again, I'll be happy to come back.

Hello, Thank you very much for the fantastic Sunday breakfast brunch. A huge selection of hot and cold dishes. Something for everyone. Sweet and savory. It is filled up and added in chords. Rolls, bread, various cold cuts, potato salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, roast ox, spaetzle, red cabbage, sausages, pretzel dumplings, potato soup, and and and. In my opinion, the service was understaffed with so many guests, but this was not particularly important due to the friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism of the staff. It's not easy to find good staff in the catering industry in these times. Once again, on behalf of the whole team, a big thank you to our waitress Scarlett, you're doing a great job. We felt very comfortable.

Waited over an hour for the food. Food came to the table cold. I find the prices for the food to be outrageously high. Never again. 2 stars only because the lady from the service was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely recommended, from the food and ambience. You should only reserve a few days in advance - it's rare to get something on the same day. And please - @BavariaAlm include the potato pancakes from the children's menu in the regular menu. Thanks.

The food is fantastic, large selection from traditional Bavarian dishes to burgers. The service is friendly but unfortunately not sufficient, the waiting times are too long both when eating and when paying or asking if you would like something more to drink. There is room for improvement there, but all in all a good visit.

Nice, large restaurant in Bavarian style. Menu corresponds to expectations, prices are at the upper limit - schnitzel with mushroom sauce over 20 euros, 0.33l Almdudler 4.30 euros. Plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant, service for ordering was lightning fast, waiting a long time to pay. Overall, everything was okay, but nothing special either

Unfortunately it fell far short of expectations. Unfortunately, the schnitzel cost €20.90 (!) and was just below average. The only choice was pork, the breading was absolutely weak and not even remotely crispy. €3.90 for a cappuccino that was also weak vending machines. The fried potatoes served with it were nothing special either. Will dem The topic is at best fair when it comes to the ambience. We will therefore not return.

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Essen in der Alm. Alle hatten 1/2 Hähnchen mit Pommes Frites und einem kleinen Salat bestellt. Die Pommes waren so hart, dass man Probleme hatte sie mit der Gabel aufzunehmen. Das halbe Hähnchen war sehr trocken, der Geschmack war in Ordnung. Fazit für uns: hier gehen wir nicht mehr hin.

The table I ordered didn't work out and they put you exactly where I specifically didn't want to sit! I'm actually used to different service here and so is the food! Unfortunately more cold than warm! That was the worst visit I had here! I would have liked to come here more often, but that was over for a long time!

NO RECOMMENDATION! First visit was my last visit: - get cold, hard fried potatoes without seasoning - a little hunter's sauce, lukewarm with overcooked, wobbly mushrooms - breaded pork schnitzel very chewy - Sausage salad had more onions than cheese - Käsespätzle were lukewarm and not hearty

If you like hearty and good food, this is the place for you. There is a wide range of dishes at fair prices. Overall, everything was very tasty. Fair prices, delicious food with large portions and a nice atmosphere. In the evening, however, the noise level in the “main room” is so high that you want to leave quickly. Unfortunately, the food took a long time on a Friday evening, but it was still ok.

If you want Bavarian flair and food, you've come to the right place, the staff is quick and friendly, there are enough seats outside and inside, the ambience is nice, you can relax and unwind. The dishes are delicious, there is actually something for everyone. There are enough parking spaces available.

Very nice restaurant which looks like an alpine inn from the outside. Inside you stay true to this line and you immediately feel at home. The service is friendly, helpful and not intrusive. The food was very tasty, although the dessert, vanilla ice cream with red fruit jelly, unfortunately had a lot of flavor. Therefore only 4 stars.

The first impression is very good, everything is rustic and cozy. When I first looked at the menu I thought "oh quite expensive" BUT with this quality and size of the portions the price is more than justified. We will come back and not just once.

The atmosphere is really nice and there is enough parking space. We had the mountaineer dumplings. Overall, they were tasty or OK, but didn't blow us away. More vegetarian dishes could be offered. Nevertheless, we would like to come back again for coffee and cake/Kaiserschmarrn

Das Haus an sich ist sehr schön. Das wars auch schon. Ich hatte einen Tisch zum Geburtstag meines Partners reservieren lassen mit dem Vermerk "Geburtstag ". Man hatte uns einen Tisch in einer Ecke an der Treppe reserviert. Fanden wir nicht schön. Auf Nachfragen haben wir einen anderen Tisch bekommen. Bei der Bestellung haben wir freundlich nachgefragt ob es zum Geburtstag eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit gibt. Da müsste man den Chef fragen. Eine Antwort darauf gab es nicht. Das Essen, Gulasch mit Spätzle wurde auf einem Teller in Pfannenoptik serviert. Das Essen war sehr schnell kalt. Musik im Hintergrund, Michael Jackson und die Toten Hosen. Na ja...Atmosphäre war nicht schön und der Service hätte besser sein können für das Geld. Wir werden dort definitiv nicht mehr hingehen. In einer Pommesbude hätten wir mit Sicherheit länger gesessen. Die Preise der Speisen für aufgewärmt Essen sind überteuert.

Addendum 2024: Like every year, this time we were in the Alm for a birthday feast. Apart from the unfortunately dry steak and the far too salty dumplings, the food was again very tasty (I 100% recommend the roast and the schnitzel in particular) We wanted to send the two plates back first, but then we let it go because we felt really sorry for the waitress anyway. The young woman (who was so attentive and friendly, by the way) was stupidly interrupted and turned on from the side while she was taking our order. It was really super unpleasant - the older waitress (shift manager?) lacked professionalism at all levels. Very unfortunate. The price has also increased significantly... quality just isn't. Oh well. Food was better, in my opinion pretzels had freezer burn and no salt on them and the answer was, they always look like that. But I know that's not the case.

The ambience is very well implemented for this type of location. Unfortunately, the food wasn't quite my thing. I've had better fries and fried chicken and unfortunately had to wait a little too long for service, even though it wasn't that full.

Everything fits! Food authentic and super tasty, atmosphere like in Bavaria. And service is really nice, courteous and enjoys the job!
