Ein wunderbarer Abend mit Spargelbuffet. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hochzeitsfeier im Pferdestall am 22.05.2026 Wir durften unsere Hochzeit bei Bauer Südfeld feiern. Der erste Kontakt hat im Dezember 2024 stattgefunden. Herr Südfeld hat uns voll abgeholt und sehr gut beraten. Uns wurden alle Locations vorgestellt und wir hatten Glück, dass wir früh genug dran waren, um uns den Pferdestall zu sichern. Der Pferdestall ist eine Mischung aus sehr modern aber auch gleichzeitig rustikal gehalten. Die Kommunikation lief hauptsächlich per E-Mail und war reibungslos. Das Personal war professionell und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir, dass wir die Möglichkeit hatten all unser Equipment für die Hochzeit im Vorfeld abgeben zu können. Außerdem haben sich alle Dienstleister perfekt mit dem Team von Bauer Südfeld abgesprochen, sodass alles reibungslos geklappt hat. Das Essen war genau so, wie wir uns es vorgestellt haben. Das Menü wurde auf unseren Wunsch angepasst, sodass für jeden reichlich was dabei war. Unser Tag war einfach unglaublich und perfekt! Vielen lieben Dank für Alles :)

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit mit über 100 Gästen in der großen Eventscheune bei Bauer Südfeld gefeiert und hätten uns wirklich keine schönere Location wünschen können. Von der Vorbereitung bis zur gesamten Kommunikation lief alles absolut reibungslos. Wir haben uns als Brautpaar jederzeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt und hatten das Gefühl, dass sich wirklich um alles gekümmert wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Servicepersonal. Alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Unsere Gäste wurden ständig gefragt, ob sie noch etwas trinken möchten, und die Getränke waren innerhalb kürzester Zeit am Tisch. Auf individuelle Wünsche wurde jederzeit eingegangen. Auch das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Das Buffet kam bei allen Gästen extrem gut an und es gab durchweg nur positives Feedback. Alle sind mehr als satt geworden und auch die Getränkeauswahl war top. Die Location selbst ist einfach wunderschön. Die Terrasse war bei fast 30 Grad perfekt und die gesamte Atmosphäre mit den Tischen und Stühlen war einfach traumhaft. Besonders toll fanden wir auch den Spielplatz für die Kinder, wodurch wirklich für alle Gäste etwas dabei war. Wir haben ausschließlich positives Feedback von unseren Gästen bekommen und würden jederzeit wieder dort feiern. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diesen besonderen Tag!

Hallo unsere Mama hat uns Muttertag beim Bauer Südfeld zum Frühstücks Buffet eingeladen wie schon einige Jahre zuvor und ich muß sagen für mich persönlich das das Ambiente eigentlich ganz in Ordnung ist das Essen schmeckt mir die vielfältige Auswah ist sehr gut die Speisen werden immer wieder nachgefüllt Kaffee ,Getränke werden nach Nachfrage sofort nachgefüllt oder die Mitarbeiter fragen ob alles gut ist also alles Top und wenn man fertig ist mit dem Frühstück kann man sich draußen im schönen Garten die Beine vertreten man kann sich auch die Tiere ansehen die im Gehege sind oder im kleinen schönen Biergarten

Das Spargelbuffet ist sehr empfehlenswert. Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Wir haben am 18. April 2026 unsere Hochzeit bei Bauer Südfeld in Herten gefeiert und waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Von Anfang an haben wir uns super aufgehoben gefühlt. Herr Südfeld hat uns im Vorgespräch toll beraten und ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Am Tag der Feier hat alles reibungslos geklappt, das Team war aufmerksam, freundlich und hat sich sehr gut um unsere Gäste und uns gekümmert. Es war für uns ein wunderschöner Tag und wir können Bauer Südfeld von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Wir waren heute beim Spargelbuffet. Leider etwas enttäuschend. Wir sind dort besseres Essen gewohnt. Spargel hart und holzig. Gratin matschig. Spargelcremsuppe total dünn und wässrig. Nachtisch: Milchreis hatte kaum Geschmack.

Wir waren heute zum Spargel essen (Buffet). Obwohl alles reserviert war bekamen wir einen Platz draußen in der Sonne. Die Bedienungen waren sehr, sehr nett. Das Buffet war sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich hätte gerne gerade einen tollen Bericht über ein wunderbares Schnitzel oder Waffel Buffet geschrieben was mir leider nicht möglich ist. Ich habe für beides letzte Woche bei Groupon Coupons gekauft. Was mich sehr wunderte das diese aufeinmal nur knapp 3 Wochen einlösbar sind. Also schnell bei Südfeld gemeldet und versucht einen Tisch zu reservieren. Leider Absage wir sind komplett ausgebucht, lediglich auf der Aussenterasse konnte was angeboten werden. Nicht der Hit bei angesagtem Regen 😂 Nach einigen Emails hin und her wurde mir dann gesagt ich hätte auch in den Wochen vorher ja auch einen Termin buchen können. Ja wie denn 😂 da hatte ich den Coupon noch nichtmal. Auch mein Angebot den Coupon einfach schon zu schicken und zu zu entwerten und mir einfach einen späteren Termin zuzuweisen wurde abgelehnt. Also auch hier komplett unflexibel. Fazit: Coupons die nur drei Wochen einlösbar sind zu vermarkten ist schon frech aber dann nichtmal Kapazitäten zu haben das man diese dann einlösen kann ist garnicht nachvollziehbar und sollte man dringend dran arbeiten. Schönen dank für nichts .waren heute mittag da sind 30km gefahren haben uns vorher über die Öffnungszeiten informiert. Als wir ankommen wird und gesagt das es heute eine geschlossene Gesellschaft gibt .Danke Herr Bauer das kann man auch auf seiner web Seite hinterlegen dann sparen sich die menschen eine lange Anfahrt. April 2026: Erneuter Besuch, Familienfeier Brunch mit Kaffee und Kuchen zum 80ten Geburtstag. Genauso Topp wie beim letzten Besuch. Sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter und alles prima gepflegt, riesige Auswahl. Auch diesmal durften wir die Geburtstagstorte mitbringen Sehr gerne wieder 👍 Februar 2026: diesmal richtige location! Brunch mit anschließendem Kaffee Kuchen zum 85ten Geburtstag. Die Geburtstagstorte durften wir mitbringen. Alles Topp: von der ersten Anfrage, Buchungsprozess, Beratungsgespräch alles prima. Wir wollten heute eigentlich drinnen Kaffeetrinken, was leider nicht möglich war, weil laut Auskunft eines Mitarbeiters drinnen ein Waffelbuffet aufgebaut sei! Draußen waren alle Plätze im Schatten und das wollten wir uns bei den Temperaturen nicht antun. Schade!

Leider war unser Restaurantbesuch eine durchweg negative Erfahrung. Das Essen war wirklich ungenießbar. Geschmacklich wirkte alles wie Fertig- oder Tiefkühlprodukte, dazu stark übersalzen und insgesamt sehr lieblos zubereitet. Ich bin normalerweise wirklich nicht pingelig und kann vieles akzeptieren, aber hier war selbst meine Toleranzgrenze klar überschritten. Das Essen war schlichtweg nicht gut – und das auf ganzer Linie. Für mich definitiv eine einmalige Erfahrung, die ich kein zweites Mal machen werde. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

Wir waren zum Schnitzelbuffet. Leider hat es uns nicht geschmeckt.Die Schnitzel könnten mehr gewürzt sein, ebenso die Panade. Alles ein bisschen crossiger. Um 19h war das Buffet schon ordentlich geplündert. Es wurde nur teilweise aufgefüllt. Die Kräuterbutter war schon leer und auch das Tiramisu wurde nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Auch optisch sah alles sehr ,,traurig" aus.Teilweise erinnerte mich das an ein Kantinenessen . Wir hatten jeder ein Cordon Blue & in allen 3 fehlten Schinken und Käse, daß kann doch kein Zufall sein !? Preis/ Leistung stimmt hier nicht. Wir waren enttäuscht und würden nicht noch einmal zum Schnitzelbuffet gehen.

Wir waren zum Schnitzeltag dort. Uns hat es leider nicht gefallen. Der Parkplatz im Hof war durch den Regen sehr schlammig. Der Gastraum war kühl. Zudem saßen wir direkt an der Eingangstor, sodass wir bei jeden öffnen die Kälte abbekamen. Auch standen die Tische sehr eng zusammen , sodass man schnell Kontakt mit dem Rückennachbarn bekam. Die Teller waren nicht vorgewärmt, so wurde das Essen leider schnell kalt. Die Buffetauseahl war überschaubar. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom Pferdestall bei Pferdestall bei Bauer Südfeld! Ich durfte dort eine Veranstaltung begleiten – und es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Das Essen war hervorragend: frisch, unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch die Gäste waren durchweg begeistert. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den stets unkomplizierten, freundlichen und professionellen Kontakt mit dem gesamten Team. Die Zusammenarbeit war von Anfang an angenehm, lösungsorientiert und auf Augenhöhe. Die lockeren und gleichzeitig stilvollen Feiermöglichkeiten machen diese Location zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Auch der Einsatz von Nebel oder andere Extras wie eine Fotoecke waren überhaupt kein Problem und konnten problemlos umgesetzt werden – genau so wünscht man sich das als Dienstleister. We ordered goose with red cabbage and dumplings for a group and were completely satisfied. The food was excellently prepared, tasted fantastic, and was very fresh. The value for money was also absolutely convincing. We can recommend it without reservation!

We took part in the waffle buffet. There were always plenty of waffles available, and the selection of toppings was very diverse. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the taste of the waffles that much 🤷🏻‍♀️ But still recommended!!!

We went here today for the waffle buffet. A fantastic selection! They were constantly making new waffles. There was a great variety of toppings to go with the waffles, such as cherries, plums, fruit salad, ice cream, etc. Everything tasted amazing. The service was excellent.

The breakfast buffet was large, but not exceptionally lavish. The freshness and quality of the food was commendable. Everything was replenished very quickly, right up until closing time.

This review refers only to the schnitzel buffet, which was disappointing. The schnitzels in particular were substandard, like you'd find in a cafeteria. Therefore, it was only worthwhile with the Groupon deal; at full price, it would have been only worth giving one star.

To be honest I was hoping for more 3 kinds of schnitzel 4 different sauces well of course you could eat as much as you wanted nevertheless the selection was manageable drinks menu none our cellar didn't even know which beer types were there but everyone has to decide for themselves whether to go there for me it wasn't anything

The waffle buffet is great. The variety is good, and the waffles themselves have the perfect batter. I ate six today and I'm sick of waffles. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. We discovered it through the AAA podcast.

We went there for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the orange juice and honey. There's a wide selection, and everything tastes great. We were a bit late, so they weren't refilling everything and a few things were missing, but overall the selection was still great. Drinks are included in the price, unless you want specialty coffees like cappuccino or latte macchiato. The atmosphere is very pleasant and rustic, so there's truly something for everyone.

We were here to celebrate a 70th birthday. The venue, "Alter Pferdestall," was very nice, and the food was absolutely delicious. Also worth mentioning is the very attentive and friendly service. That's unfortunately not a given these days, and it contributed to the success of the celebration. Highly recommended for larger parties.

We celebrated our outdoor wedding here, followed by a reception in the barn, and couldn't be happier. Communication was straightforward, and small requests for changes to the menu, schedule, and decor were implemented with great flexibility and no hidden costs. Mr. Südfeld had his own solutions or competent service providers on hand for every eventuality, but it was also no problem to take on individual tasks ourselves. True to the motto "Anything goes, nothing is necessary." The food was excellent, and the team was friendly, accommodating, and professional. We'll definitely be back for our silver wedding anniversary!

We were here today for the first time, but certainly not the last. The schnitzel buffet fulfilled every craving. Whether pork schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, or cordon bleu, it was served with fries, potato wedges, or fried potatoes. Pasta salad, mixed salad, or herb butter with baguette. Two different desserts, and all delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. They never lost track of what was on offer, even when all the tables were occupied.

We went to the schnitzel buffet. The schnitzels were delicious, the side dishes were excellent. They were the best fried potatoes I've ever eaten, and dessert. The service was perfect. Fast, very friendly, attentive, and the team worked perfectly together. A very cozy atmosphere.

Unlike other venues, Frank welcomed us warmly from the start. We were offered a drink and everything was shown and explained in a relaxed manner. The location (a barn) and the hospitality are fantastic. Additionally, Frank and his team are uncomplicated and flexible. They accommodated all our requests. The food was truly delicious; all guests, young and old, as well as vegetarian and vegan guests, were more than satisfied. The price-performance ratio is also more than fair. We had a wonderful wedding/ceremony. We would choose this location again any time. Thank you very much.

Delicious breakfast but to get the price you have to eat properly

We had a breakfast buffet. There was a huge selection of sausage, ground pork, cheese, salmon, eggs, fried eggs, cereal, and even honeycomb. 😊 The staff was very friendly. I would go back anytime. The decor was very nice, typical of a rustic farmhouse.

Excellent breakfast buffet with a variety of rolls, bread, sausage, cheese, minced meat, salmon, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, jams, fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate—as much as you like. All in a converted horse stable, which can also be rented for events. Open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Clean restrooms. The price is reasonable for the all-you-can-eat option. Great, book through Groupon. You also need to reserve a table in advance.

From the initial consultation to the big day, everything ran smoothly and professionally. Our guests were very impressed with everything. Frank impressed us with his friendly and warm personality. He was always there for us with any questions and handled everything easily and reliably. The entire team that evening was simply fantastic. The three guys assigned to us ensured that everything was taken care of with their motivated and dedicated work. They were incredibly friendly, relaxed, and attentive – our guests were thrilled! The kitchen staff also did an outstanding job. The food was delicious, and they always replenished it whenever something was missing. ☺️🍗🥗🥙 I'd especially like to highlight that the cake, which Frank recommended, was a complete success. 🍰🧁 We also had a wedding planner who regularly works with Frank. She coordinated everything perfectly behind the scenes, so we didn't have to worry about a thing – everything was executed exactly as we had envisioned. 🤗 We wholeheartedly recommend Bauer Südfeld – whether for weddings, birthdays, or other celebrations. On Saturday we had delicious plum cake with cream and a pot of coffee at Bauer Südfeld. The staff was friendly and the prices were not too high, normal for a restaurant.

We celebrated our wedding in the "small" restaurant at Bauer Südfeld and were completely satisfied. The advance planning with Mr. Südfeld was incredibly straightforward. On the day of the celebration, we were truly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everything was taken care of, and every little request was fulfilled. We recently celebrated our wedding at Bauer Südfeld in the horse stable room. Due to the weather, our outdoor ceremony was held outside. We were very pleased, and the organization and service throughout the wedding were flawless. We were more than satisfied and would recommend Bauer Südfeld! All the service providers told us that the arrangements were so straightforward and everything was perfectly organized.

Found it spontaneously. A simple, manageable summer menu. Outdoor seating is okay, but you look out onto the building or its annexes on three sides. Plenty of parking is available. The food is excellent. The fried potatoes are absolutely fantastic. We were able to have a few words with the chef. The salad is also fresh and nicely prepared. Card payment was only successful on the fourth attempt. Unfortunately, the amount was deducted twice. This needs to be clarified. Summer drinks are without ice and slightly chilled. That could be a bit better. We'd happily come again. The service, apart from the charge, was excellent.

We celebrated our wedding with 40 people, everyone was very happy with the all-round package. I can recommend it with a clear conscience

We had a large celebration and it was very disappointing. The room was much too small for the number of people specified. The chairs were so close together that we had to climb over the backs to sit down. No one could get in or out without the whole row getting up. We had a wall behind us and no view of the stage program. The microphone and speakers were broken. We were forced to spend the entire event outside and basically missed everything. The buffet had a canteen feel and didn't encourage you to get a second plate. Dry schnitzel with fries and salads that looked as if the guests had brought their own. To top it all off, the large, careless tubs of mayonnaise were left unrefrigerated at the buffet despite the high temperatures. There were five of us and we paid €60 each!!! Cheeky is the only thing I can think of. Unfortunately, I can only give the service staff a good rating. Everyone here made a real effort. Our friends and I will definitely not book another event here.

We've been celebrating our high school graduation anniversary there for years. It was always great to celebrate there – however, prices have skyrocketed disproportionately over the last five years. Sure, everything has gotten more expensive, but I can't remember us having an annual inflation rate of 10% since 2020. Therefore, I find the 50% price increase since then unjustified.

We celebrated our 45th high school reunion there; nice atmosphere, good service, delicious food.

We celebrated our wedding in the barn on October 4, 2024. And what can I say? If I could, I would give it 11 out of 10 stars. It was perfect throughout. Mr. Südfeld was an absolutely lovely host. The preparations with him couldn't have been easier. The barn was the perfect location for us. The food was amazing. I've rarely seen anyone so friendly, funny, and, above all, hardworking. We had a fantastic team who looked after our party of over 100 people so well that no one was without a drink for even a short time. We set up a tip jar on our end, and I think the fact that it was practically full by the end of the event speaks for itself. I would do it again; it's only fair and it's a great motivation. I would also like to thank you on behalf of my husband for our perfect wedding. It definitely wasn't our last time there...

From the first viewing to the end of the day, we were looked after professionally, warmly, and with a wealth of experience. You can immediately tell: They love what they do – and it shows in every detail. The barbecue buffet from the grill was a real highlight! Everything was freshly prepared on site, beautifully presented, and tasted to perfection. Our guests still rave about the selection, quality, and special atmosphere created by the barbecue concept. The service was also consistently first-class – attentive, friendly, and absolutely reliable. It was such a good feeling not having to worry about anything because everything ran smoothly. This allowed us to enjoy the day to the fullest. We would also like to express special praise for the harmonious collaboration with our florist Olga. The coordination between the location, decoration, and floristry was perfect. Olga's lovingly designed floral arrangements blended beautifully into the ambiance of Bauer Südfeld – everything seemed to be seamlessly integrated. It felt like everyone was pulling together to make the day truly special for us. We celebrated a wedding in the "Gastraum" as guests. The room was decorated appropriately and created a truly atmospheric setting for the occasion. The service staff that evening was super friendly and very attentive. The booked buffet was very extensive and was promptly replenished. Everyone found something to eat and no one went home hungry. We were truly impressed. The location, especially with small children, is really lovely... (playground/farm animals/plenty of space to play) Above all, we would like to commend the staff again!!! They were always there to ensure the well-being of our guests!!! Chapeau! Our children celebrated their civil wedding there. The location was fantastic. The buffet was very good and plentiful. The service was excellent; they were always there to help with any requests and were super friendly. We would happily recommend this venue.

We celebrated our wedding at the Bauer Südfeld restaurant in May 2025. The food was truly fantastic (BBQ buffet), and the service was cheerful and prompt throughout the evening. Our guests were all absolutely thrilled. Mr. Südfeld was always available during the planning stages and was very helpful with any questions we had. Even last-minute changes were implemented. We will definitely be back at Bauer Südfeld for our next celebration!

We were there for the dance in May, it was really great! Take 5 as a live band was really great. The food was currywurst, no other choice. No problem for us, maybe bad for vegetarians ☺️.

We were there for the schnitzel buffet (all can you eat), the selection was limited to 3 different schnitzels, side dishes etc... Which was completely sufficient for us and that tasted good too... Yesterday's event (Dinner & Magic) was very disappointing. The food was delicious, the service good. The entertainer would be more suitable for a children's birthday party. For an amount of €99 per person we felt a bit ripped off. One can only advise against it.
