We went there for Schnitzel Day. The buffet was plentiful, good, and delicious! The barn was beautifully decorated; it almost looked like it was decorated for a wedding!

We took part in the waffle buffet. There were always plenty of waffles available, and the selection of toppings was very diverse. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the taste of the waffles that much 🤷🏻‍♀️ But still recommended!!!

We ordered goose with red cabbage and dumplings for a group and were completely satisfied. The food was excellently prepared, tasted fantastic, and was very fresh. The value for money was also absolutely convincing. We can recommend it without reservation!

The breakfast buffet was large, but not exceptionally lavish. The freshness and quality of the food was commendable. Everything was replenished very quickly, right up until closing time.

This review refers only to the schnitzel buffet, which was disappointing. The schnitzels in particular were substandard, like you'd find in a cafeteria. Therefore, it was only worthwhile with the Groupon deal; at full price, it would have been only worth giving one star.

We went there for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the orange juice and honey. There's a wide selection, and everything tastes great. We were a bit late, so they weren't refilling everything and a few things were missing, but overall the selection was still great. Drinks are included in the price, unless you want specialty coffees like cappuccino or latte macchiato. The atmosphere is very pleasant and rustic, so there's truly something for everyone.

We were here to celebrate a 70th birthday. The venue, "Alter Pferdestall," was very nice, and the food was absolutely delicious. Also worth mentioning is the very attentive and friendly service. That's unfortunately not a given these days, and it contributed to the success of the celebration. Highly recommended for larger parties.

We celebrated our outdoor wedding here, followed by a reception in the barn, and couldn't be happier. Communication was straightforward, and small requests for changes to the menu, schedule, and decor were implemented with great flexibility and no hidden costs. Mr. Südfeld had his own solutions or competent service providers on hand for every eventuality, but it was also no problem to take on individual tasks ourselves. True to the motto "Anything goes, nothing is necessary." The food was excellent, and the team was friendly, accommodating, and professional. We'll definitely be back for our silver wedding anniversary!

We were here today for the first time, but certainly not the last. The schnitzel buffet fulfilled every craving. Whether pork schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, or cordon bleu, it was served with fries, potato wedges, or fried potatoes. Pasta salad, mixed salad, or herb butter with baguette. Two different desserts, and all delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. They never lost track of what was on offer, even when all the tables were occupied.

The location (a barn) and the hospitality are fantastic. Additionally, Frank and his team are uncomplicated and flexible. They accommodated all our requests. We had a breakfast buffet. There was a huge selection of sausage, ground pork, cheese, salmon, eggs, fried eggs, cereal, and even honeycomb. 😊 The staff was very friendly. I would go back anytime. The decor was very nice, typical of a rustic farmhouse.

All in a converted horse stable, which can also be rented for events. Open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Clean restrooms. The price is reasonable for the all-you-can-eat option. Great, book through Groupon. You also need to reserve a table in advance.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Bauer Südfeld in the horse stable room. Due to the weather, our outdoor ceremony was held outside. We were very pleased, and the organization and service throughout the wedding were flawless. We were more than satisfied and would recommend Bauer Südfeld! All the service providers told us that the arrangements were so straightforward and everything was perfectly organized.

Found it spontaneously. A simple, manageable summer menu. Outdoor seating is okay, but you look out onto the building or its annexes on three sides. Plenty of parking is available. The food is excellent. The fried potatoes are absolutely fantastic. We were able to have a few words with the chef. The salad is also fresh and nicely prepared. Card payment was only successful on the fourth attempt. Unfortunately, the amount was deducted twice. This needs to be clarified. Summer drinks are without ice and slightly chilled. That could be a bit better. We'd happily come again. The service, apart from the charge, was excellent.

We celebrated our wedding with 40 people, everyone was very happy with the all-round package. I can recommend it with a clear conscience

We had a large celebration and it was very disappointing. The room was much too small for the number of people specified. The chairs were so close together that we had to climb over the backs to sit down. No one could get in or out without the whole row getting up. We had a wall behind us and no view of the stage program. The microphone and speakers were broken. We were forced to spend the entire event outside and basically missed everything. The buffet had a canteen feel and didn't encourage you to get a second plate. Dry schnitzel with fries and salads that looked as if the guests had brought their own. To top it all off, the large, careless tubs of mayonnaise were left unrefrigerated at the buffet despite the high temperatures. There were five of us and we paid €60 each!!! Cheeky is the only thing I can think of. Unfortunately, I can only give the service staff a good rating. Everyone here made a real effort. Our friends and I will definitely not book another event here.

We've been celebrating our high school graduation anniversary there for years. It was always great to celebrate there – however, prices have skyrocketed disproportionately over the last five years. Sure, everything has gotten more expensive, but I can't remember us having an annual inflation rate of 10% since 2020. Therefore, I find the 50% price increase since then unjustified.

The preparations with him couldn't have been easier. The barn was the perfect location for us. The food was amazing. We opted for "home-style cooking," the price was absolutely fair, and the guests were all thrilled. Let's move on to the service staff. They were one of the best things about the entire event. I've rarely seen anyone so friendly, funny, and, above all, hardworking. We had a fantastic team who looked after our party of over 100 people so well that no one was without a drink for even a short time. We set up a tip jar on our end, and I think the fact that it was practically full by the end of the event speaks for itself. I would do it again; it's only fair and it's a great motivation. There is something incredibly real and warm about this location that I felt immediately when I was allowed to take photos here for the first time. It is this special mix of rustic charm, a lot of heart and a relaxed, truly family atmosphere that makes the farm so unique. The barn, where we usually celebrate, simply radiates peace and coziness. With its warm wooden tones and loving details, it is the perfect place for a celebration where everyone feels comfortable. I often observe couples and guests as they pause for a moment, enjoy the atmosphere and simply smile - and I get to capture it all with my camera. These are exactly the kinds of moments I love about Farmer Südfeld. For me as a photographer, a highlight is the outdoor area. The green meadows, the old trees, the little corners with lovingly placed decorations - this place tells stories that I can capture in pictures. Especially during couple shoots, it often happens that my bride and groom become completely relaxed, enjoy nature and just be themselves. Often you don't need to give them much guidance because the atmosphere is so inviting that the emotions come naturally. It becomes even more beautiful when an outdoor wedding ceremony takes place outside. There's just something magical about getting married in the open air, with the trees blowing in the background - and yes, I've also had goosebumps at moments like that. But even if the weather doesn't cooperate, there is a beautiful alternative in the barn that is just as warm and atmospheric. What I also think is great: Nothing feels stiff or overly “styled” on Bauer Südfeld. It's a place where you can remain yourself - and that's exactly what makes the wedding days I was able to attend there so special. Had a Christmas party on site. Unfortunately, the room is very carelessly designed and has an extreme reverberation. It was hard to have a conversation like that. That was also the feedback from the other colleagues.

On November 30th, 2024 we celebrated my 50th birthday in the barn with 80 people. It was a wonderful celebration all around. The barn was very stylishly decorated, the food was delicious and the service staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

The weather didn't make things any easier for everyone, especially the team. Despite the spontaneous weather changes, we were able to have our ceremony outside and that was our greatest wish. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We are really happy and happy that we were able to host the wedding there! Our guests also praised the service and the location highly. We really can't say anything negative and would host a celebration there again at any time!

We celebrated our wedding on September 20th, 2024 in the restaurant at Bauer Südfeld. We were super satisfied. We were well advised from the beginning of the planning to the end. Our guests and we as the bride and groom felt extremely comfortable. Everyone was thrilled with the location and the service.

We were guests at the Oktoberfest with 3 people, which didn't overwhelm us. Simply commercial, drinks a bit overpriced...toilets disastrous, DJ was OK...but had little to do with the Oktoberfest flair. Expandable!!
