Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Personen und es war soo toll! Der Chef war schon im Vorhinein so großartig und war immer mit uns in Absprache, ob alles passt. Es ist wirklich zu empfehlen, super leckeres, frisches & vegetarisches Essen, tolle Cocktails und sehr liebes Personal. Immer wieder gerne <3

Meine Freunde und ich waren in Barito auf ein paar Drinks. Ich bestellte meinen Lieblings-Espresso-Martini mit Tequila Reposado von El Loco Guapo – und er hat ihn perfekt zubereitet! Er war der Wahnsinn! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Leckeres, spanisches Lokal mit gutem Service und zentraler Lage

Einfach fantastisch! Wir hatten ein Teamevent mit Cocktailkursen. Das Essen war wirklich gut und der Barkeeper sehr kompetent. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen Besuch oder ein Teamevent! Wir hatten das ganze Gebäude für uns allein, was für ein ganz besonderes und exklusives Erlebnis sorgte.

Im Rahmen einer Geburtstagsfeier hatten wir im Barito einen tollen Abend, sowohl das Essen, als auch die Cocktails waren sehr gut. Qualität auf höchstem Niveau. Das Barito ist eine wunderschöne Location mit sehr netter Bedienung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Habe hier ein leckeres Brunchmenü gegessen mit frischen und gesunden Zutaten. Dazu gab es super lateinamerikanische Livemusik!

12/10 live music, sehr guter Service und das Essen war unglaublich

Das Ambiete an sich war ganz okay und auch die Live-Musik angenehm. Wir bekamen ein Welcome-Drink aufs Haus, was uns allerdings leider nicht wirklich geschmeckt hat. Es gibt scheinbar nur drei Hauptgerichte (Quesadillas). Die Thunfisch-Variante gab es dann leider nicht, was ich allerdings bei der Auswahl von 3 Sorten etwas mager finde. Dann hatte ich die Chicken Variante mit Kartoffeln. Das Essen hat mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Kartoffeln war teilweise kalt und geschmacklos. Die Quesadillas wirkte halbherzig zusammengestellt und auch das Fleisch schmeckte ebenfalls leider nicht. Meiner Meinung nach nicht empfehlenswert gewesen, was den Geschmack anging. Die WC-Kabine in der Männer-Toilette war ständig abgeschlossen. Ich stand erstmal 5min grundlos davor bis schließlich ein Mitarbeiter meinte, dass man die Tür "Privat" nutzen kann. Eine Zettel-Info wäre ganz hilfreich gewesen bei einem Restaurant mit diesem Ambiente.

Fantastische Cocktailbar mit unglaublich nettem Team. Die Cocktails sind exzellent und das Essen ebenfalls. Haben dort einen Cocktailkurs gemacht, der war klasse. Super hochwertige Produkte, das Team hat sich richtig viel Zeit für uns genommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Super laden mit den besten Drinks die ich je getrunken habe und die Küche ist mindestens genauso gut. Barito ist mit Abstand der schönste Laden den ich in Köln gesehen habe. Hier werde ich definitiv öfter hingehen einfach top !!!!!

Das Barito Restaurant ist ein sehr schickes Lokal mit toller lateinamerikanischer Küche und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte bestellt, darunter Nachos und Burritos, und alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt frisch, gut gewürzt und sehr lecker. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns auch das Thunfischsteak, das perfekt zubereitet war. Dazu gab es richtig gute Cocktails, die den Abend wunderbar abgerundet haben. Ein echtes Highlight zum Schluss war das Mango-Tiramisu außergewöhnlich, leicht und unglaublich lecker. Insgesamt ein großartiges Restaurant mit tollem Essen, guten Drinks und stilvollem Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Weit vor Weihnachten für den 25.12 einen Tisch reserviert. Extra nachgefragt und die Buchung noch einmal schriftlich bestätigt. Uhrzeit der Reservierung musste wegen den Öffnungszeiten um eine Stunde verschoben werden.So weit alles gut. Am 23.12 dann die Stornierung der Tischreservierung. Sie würden Weihnachten lieber im Kreise der Familie feiern. Kann ich ja verstehen, aber kann man das dann so regeln, dass es nicht auf dem Rücken der Gäste ausgetragen wird. Empfinde ich als sehr unprofessionell... Wenn man dann eine negativ Bewertung ankündigt, wird auch sofort mit dem Anwalt gedroht. Noch viel besser! Danke das ich mein Geld nicht in diesem Restaurant ausgegeben habe!

Es war dort ein super schöner Abend, die Tapas waren mega lecker und die Cocktails einfach auf ein spitzen Niveau. Die Bedienung und auch der Chef selbst mega freundlich. Es war ein top Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen, tolle Cocktails und ein stilvolles Ambiente! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend bei Metin und seinem Team.

Wir waren als Firmenfeier vor Ort. Knapp 60 Leute. Das Essen war sehr knapp angesetzt und auch eher kalt als warm, als es serviert wurde. Geschmacklich also eher mau. Der Granada Cocktail dagegen war wirklich sehr lecker. Ansonsten bei so vielen Menschen natürlich etwas eng, aber trotzdem Recht schön hier. Die WC sind sauber und leicht zu erreichen. Allerdings nicht barrierefrei, ebenso wenig wie der Eingang ins Restaurant.

Sehr lange Wartezeiten. Wenig Essensauswahl.

Wir haben im Rahmen unserer Firmen-Weihnachtsfeier einen Cocktailkurs im Barito gebucht und waren positiv beeindruckt. Angefangen bei dem ersten telefonischen Gespräch mit dem Besitzer Metin, bis über die gesamte Planung lief alles sehr unkompliziert. Auf diverse individuelle Wünsche unsererseits wurde sofort und äußerst zuvorkommend Rücksicht genommen und diese wurden mit außergewöhnlicher fachlicher Kompetenz umgesetzt. Der Cocktailkurs vor Ort hat unsere Erwartungen dann nochmal übertroffen. Kurz gefasst : optisch sehr schöne Location, freundliches Personal, extrem Frische und qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten, spontan auf indiv. Geschmackswünsche/Vorlieben eingegangen, kompetente aber trotzdem spaßige Vermittlung von fachlich korrekter Zubereitung der Cocktails (inkl. Tipps und Tricks), sehr leckere Snacks (warme Speisen haben wir nicht mitgebucht), insgesamt 10/10. Alles in allem kann ich das Barito nach dieser Erfahrung herzenswarm weiterempfehlen und würde auch jedem, der gerne mal einen Cocktailkurs machen möchte, ans Herz legen diesen hier zu machen. A few months ago, we booked a cocktail course, including tapas tasting, for our clients at Barito and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Both the space and the food were very appealing. We would especially like to emphasize the friendly and welcoming manner of the bartender and owner, Metin. His style of leading the course inspired enthusiasm among everyone. The communication during the event planning can also be described as consistently professional. Anyone looking for a special team event in a pleasant atmosphere is in good hands at Barito. Eight of us came here for a cocktail class for a small company party. The ambiance is very chic and modern, yet very cozy and relaxed. The class was fun and very educational. Such a good teacher, very funny and personable! The drinks were delicious. Fresh and aromatic. The tapas were as well – you can tell how fresh the ingredients are and how much love goes into their preparation behind the bar and in the kitchen. See you next time! 💞

Breakfast at Barito in Cologne – simply amazing! I had breakfast at Barito today and I'm absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented – you can tell that they put their heart and soul into it. A huge compliment to Metin – you can really see how much passion he puts into it. Everything was fresh, perfectly balanced, and simply delicious. Whether it was the pancakes with fresh berries, the eggs with vegetables, or the coffee – everything was just perfect. I'll definitely be back!

For us, the Barito is more than a cocktail bar – it is a real feel-good place! Centrally located on Aachener Straße at the Moltkestraße stop, the long bar with its great atmosphere invites you to spend relaxed evenings. Metin, the owner, is a host with a heart and always surprises us with new cocktail creations. My favorite is the Nespresito, but the gin cocktails are also fantastic. He responds to requests so that everyone gets their perfect drink here. The Mexican-inspired cuisine offers something for everyone - whether vegan, vegetarian or with meat, every dish thrilled us and our friends. There are also regular events or you can take part in cocktail courses. The team is warm, the service is top – and even our dog is greeted happily every time. If you're looking for great cocktails, delicious food and a warm atmosphere, this is the place for you. Absolute recommendation!

We had reservations for the evening of the 31st at Barito. With knowledge of the menu imposed for the New Year. We ate very well, there is really nothing to say, everything is delicious from starter to dessert. However, there are a few small drawbacks: no bread to serve at the table, no milk for coffee, only espresso. And it's impossible to have a cocktail other than the 5 cocktails on the menu... too bad... and at 15€ per cocktail, we only have one... we would have liked to have an appetizer before entry... for a festive meal.. meh… we had a very nice waiter who did his best but the manager (the man who takes care of the bar) is not very tender with his employees at all, too bad. The server did very well though. Thanks to him

Nice place, the open wine at €6.50 was out, the recommendation was €9.50 a glass. The side dishes according to the menu weren't just mashed potatoes. Food was tasty but you should have an appetizer if you are hungry. We had imagined it differently according to the internet reviews!

A great restaurant that focuses on good quality and atmosphere. Outstanding service that is friendly and competent and really enjoys gastronomy. It was a celebration for us! Very nice bar with restaurant. We only drank cocktails there, they were very well made, very tasty and the prices were reasonable. There are classic cocktails and our own creations. Service is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is also very nice and calm.

A nice local, cozy, and relatively spacious. We ordered cocktails first. They were very small for the price and tasted very watery. The starter was very tasty, we chose a starter plate for 2 people. The main course: tacos and the vegetarian version weren't anything special. The avocado dish was not well seasoned and, for the hefty price, really average. No recommendation from us.

The behavior of the staff was disappointing: I have never been looked at so often and treated so rudely in such a short space of time. We were interrupted several times in the middle of a conversation for no reason. Courtesy here is only given to guests who flaunt their money. Accordingly, we left after one cocktail, even though the one cocktail we had tasted first-class, was absolutely harmonious and priced excellently for the quality.

The tip for first-class and unusual cocktails in Cologne. You can expect delicious cocktail creations and a menu with great menu items. Every cocktail fan will get their money's worth in the glass and on the plate.

As a company event and a small thank you to our employees for their great work, we booked a cocktail course including catering at Barito and were completely satisfied (yes, ok, there is no Kölsch, but a Kölsch cocktail sounds too crazy * laugh * ). The communication beforehand was brilliant. We responded promptly at all times and were given good suggestions, e.g. 3-course menu in advance. The food was delicious and the organization was remarkable. The cocktail class was a lot of fun, educational and delicious. We were treated warmly and felt welcome at all times. 5 stars and absolutely recommended. Thank you, dear Barito team!

We had dinner at Barito with another couple before an evening event. Although there was a lot going on in other bars that evening, we were greeted by a yawning emptiness. There was only one other table occupied besides ours. The map was clear. I had “beef tacos”. The meat was tender and tasted OK, but the preparation with tomatoes and some onions was boring. Plus a small bowl with the same salsa and additional chickpeas, what's that for? There was no apple spritzer for me. We couldn't find any other usual soft drinks on the menu either. Instead, the homemade lemonade was offered for €7.50 (0.37l). After dinner I would have liked to have a coffee with milk, but unfortunately that wasn't available either. The service was very friendly, the cutlery was polished before being laid out. However, given the situation with two married couples, I would actually have expected the question as to whether they pay separately. On compensatory justice: The judgment of others was more positive.

Well, what can I say... The two boys are just a dream. Thanks to my thirsty girlfriend we ended up in this pretty cocktail bar, lucky!! It was actually already closed, but because my better half had already had contact with the boys on the way to another location, the door was opened for us on the way back. My girlfriend had a drink with alcohol, I had without. The taste of my drink was super refreshing and grown-up, if I do say so myself. The flair of this bar is just like the two bartenders, super coordinated, honest and decisive! We will have a gin and cocktail tasting there soon. I'm looking forward to it. We had booked a cocktail course. Although I didn't like the cocktails at first, I was taught otherwise (Mochito tastes very good with the recipe). It doesn't just say 1+2+3 = 6, but it also explains that you can achieve your goal with other components and how. The food afterwards and the cocktails were of very good quality

We came into the bar at 9.40pm on a Friday evening after going to the cinema and were asked to leave because they were no longer accepting customers. It's a shame, I was looking forward to the cocktails.

The ambience was quite nice and the service was nice… unfortunately the food is extremely boring - you can easily make it yourself at home, super cheaply, at least as well (without much experience). Unfortunately, it's really expensive - it's absolutely not realistic :/ The worst thing is the toasted bread from the discount store - I have no idea in which Central American country this idea was picked up, lel...

We did a cocktail course as part of a relaxed bachelorette party. From the first contact to the farewell, you felt warmly welcome at all times. Questions regarding the course were answered in detail and the service was excellent. We came as a family with a teenager and a small child on a Saturday evening right after it opened and were given a very friendly welcome. The drinks came quickly. The homemade lemonade is insanely good! We also enjoyed the appetizer platter. Of course it's not intended for 4 people, but we were all able to try everything. The tacos were very good, says the family's taco connoisseur. For me it was about 5kg too much coriander. If you're not a big fan of the herb, you're in for a bad time with the tacos, because all three versions we had were badly corianced. (It's in the menu. Anyone who can read has a clear advantage. And you can definitely unsubscribe if you let us know in good time.) The toilets have tiles that are worth seeing, but would need a check-up (sticking door, loose glasses).

This culinary masterpiece is truly an eye-catcher! The incredibly good light makes the visit unforgettable.

Delicious Mexican restaurant, nice team and chilled atmosphere

We had dinner at barito this evening as part of our sales meeting. The service was excellent in advance, Metin offered us a suitable menu with appropriate variants that fit our budget. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and offered enough space for our group of 30 people. The food was very good and freshly prepared. Due to the small kitchen, not everyone got their food at the same time, but this meant that everything was spread out a bit and you had time to go from one table to the other and talk to different colleagues. The service was super nice and took very good care of us. Thank you!

Well, another day and another restaurant review. The environment was nice and the cocktails are also very good and delicious. But that's it. We ordered it always took a long time until someone from service cam. Our appertiser was forgotten, when asking why, we were told that the service guy did not understand it but the same guy did get understand the main order. Instead of saying that they have forgotten it, they just sang, which ain't good. The food by itself was just OK. The meet was not juicy and the Tacos Mixtos did not convince me at all. The Avocado plus chicken was OK. I also waited a long time to pay. In sum, the cocktails are good and worth but I do not recommend the food. There are other Mexican restaurants which taste better in my opinion. The meals or the food is too expensive, compared to what you get. Update: So today I got an email from Google where the owner is trying to take legal action against my review. The photos prove I was there and I forwarded my bill to Google as proof. I find it unbearable that people are trying to delete my rating, which is actually not bad. Fairness and justice look different in my eyes. As a tip, always keep the receipt or take a photo of it.

Pleasant atmosphere, tasty and well but not overly seasoned food. The prawns were well prepared to the point. Friendly, if somewhat bumpy (new?) and not very attentive service. Overall, a nice evening.

I had dinner here with my mom. The service was really very friendly and attentive, we felt very comfortable in this respect, and the restaurant is also really well furnished and cozy. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews of the food and the price-performance ratio is not right. The cocktails were tasty, but not outstanding and very small; we've had much better ones (especially since they were so highlighted, we were a bit surprised when they came to our table). We had nachos as a starter, which were quite tasty, but nothing special. The main course for both of us was tacos, vegetarian for me, meat for my mom - and an absolute disappointment for both of us. The portion is very small, if you're hungry you should go somewhere else for that reason alone. My mom's taco was very dry and both tasted very bland. For better understanding: On the menu it said that the tacos were filled as follows: filled with tomatoes | Onions | Lime | Coriander - which we couldn't really understand. Here, too, the price-performance ratio is by no means right (in our opinion it was rather cheeky). Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the restaurant because of the food and, as already said, we absolutely cannot understand these reviews.

We were in the restaurant for the first time today. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The employees are very attentive and nice. The food was really great, everything freshly prepared. We had tacos and king prawns. For dessert there was tiramisu. It was a real taste explosion. In between we tried the homemade cocktails 🍸. These were really very tasty. I can really only recommend this restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Very disappointing. Tried it because of the good reviews but it was nothing. Service was nice but overwhelmed, Black Angus was questionable - it was more of a tough minute steak for just under 28 euros. Starters okay but that's not what I go to a restaurant for. For me it's off topic and not recommended.

The barito is great all around! The food was very tasty, we found the cocktails and drinks very original and extravagant. The atmosphere is extremely inviting with a really warm and attentive service. Come regularly and always happy. Definitely our favorite bar/restaurant in Cologne!

Zum einen, ein absolut chilliges Lokal. Besonders ins Auge fiel unsere sehr nette Bedienung Gülden. Sie hat sich für uns sehr viel Zeit genommen und uns jede Frage beantwortet. Ihre offene Art passt hier genau rein und man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Auch erwähnen muss man die selbst erdachten Cocktails, absolute Spitze!!! Super leckeres Essen und schönes Ambiente!

Fantastisches Restaurant mit sehr guter Bar. Wir waren zu zweit im Barito und hatten einen tollen Abend, der ganz im Zeichen des Genusses und des Geschmacks stand. Gegessen haben wir das Tunfischsteak und das Hähnchenbrustfilet. Beides sehr lecker, für uns hätte es aber etwas mehr Gemüse in der Beilage sein dürfen. Schade, dass es zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs keine Quesadillas gab - so haben wir aber einen Grund mehr, noch mal wiederzukommen. Die Cocktails sind auf höchstem Niveau. Der Espressito delikat und mit interessanter Textur, die Mezcal-Spezialitäten mal nichts alltägliches und die Gin-Cocktails waren eine überraschend fruchtig-intensive Geschmackserfahrung. Großartig - sollte man unbedingt besuchen und sich neben der tollen Qualität über den sehr aufmerksamen und gut beratenden Service erfreuen.

Das essen und der Service waren wirklich grandios- die Cocktails waren sehr aussergewöhnlich und viele mit hausgemachten credentials! Die Chefin war enorm zuvorkommend und hat uns super beraten! Kleines Manko: der Preis ist wirklich schon extrem - auch wenn die Qualität es rechtfertigt! Beispiel: die Nachos sind wirklich toll aber der Preis könnte um 20% weniger sein! Ich verstehe

Der Service war stets aufmerksam, auch wenn an manchen Stellen überlastet, teilweise unkoordiniert! Die Geschäftsführerin hat anfangs sehr professionell und auch gut bildlich die Machart des Restaurants meiner Frau und mir vorgestellt! Witzig fand ich persönlich, nicht negativ zu bewerten, das die Getränkekarte über mehrere Seiten ging und die Speisekarte sich mit zwei Seiten zufrieden geben mußte. Bei beiden Menüs die wir gewählt haben konnte man sehr gut heraus schmecken das mit viel Liebe die Zubereitung erfolgte. Meiner Ansicht nach kann ich dieses Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!!!

Sehr gemütliche Bar/Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Die Cocktails sind alle selbst entwickelt und haben alle ihre individuelle Note. Das Essen ist super lecker, frisch und es sind gute Portionen. Der Service ist 1a.
