Ein sehr angenehmes, familienfreundliches Restaurant. Kinder können sicher im Garten spielen, während die Eltern in Ruhe essen. Der Inhaber ist überaus freundlich und direkt und kümmert sich stets aufmerksam um die Gäste. Das Essen ist köstlich, hausgemacht und bietet authentische ungarische Aromen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊🍽️🇭🇺

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wir waren am Sonntag dort und haben das zweistündige Buffet genutzt. Das Lokal ist gemütlich, das Essen lecker und abwechslungsreich, und nicht zuletzt ist Barbara sehr freundlich und direkt. Vielen Dank!

Ich liebe ungarisches Essen , das Restaurant ist echt super.

Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache und für eine Vereins-Gaststätte gerade so akzeptabel. Aber für ein Gulasch mit Spätzle und sehr kleinem Gurken-Salat 25 Euro zu verlangen, das geht gar nicht. Das ist einfach weder dem Essen, und vor Allem dem Ambiente angemessen. Aber lecker war es 😉

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, der Service war wunderbar, das Ambiente ok. Alles in allem kann man gut hier gut essen, wir waren draußen gesessen. Preislich ist es ok, aber nicht günstig. Der Kuchen musst du mal versuchen. Ein Leckerbissen.

Das Essen ist von sehr hoher Qualität zu sehr guten Preisen und wird von freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal bedient. Das Restaurant serviert traditionelle ungarische Küche.

Wir waren nun schon sechs, sieben, acht Mal bei Barbara‘s Küche und immer sehr zufrieden, klasse. Sonntagsbüffet, normale Abendkarte, Freitagsfischkarte, Mittags-Special (neu!) haben wir alles genossen. Weiter so! Chefin Barbara ist sehr engagiert in ihrem Restaurant und für ihr Restaurant und sie bespielt auch souverän die sozialen Medien, lobenswert.

Sehr gutes Essen. Im Sommer ist es bestimmt toll, wenn man draußen sitzen kann. Innen ist es auch okay und der Service ist klasse.

In der Antwort der Betreiberin gibt diese selbst zu, dass sie die Schnitzel in der Fritteuse macht. Das ist traurig und dafür zahle ich nicht.

Wir waren beim Mittagsbuffet in Barbara's Küche. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Einrichtung passte gut zum ungarischen Flair und erinnert an der typischen Taverne, genannt csárda. Das Essen war klassisch, traditionell ungarisch, so wie man es in Ungarn vorfindet, sofern man Abseits vom Tourismus essen geht. Man merkt das die Köchin mit Hingabe die Gerichte zubereitet und so haben sie auch geschmeckt. Einfach nur sehr lecker. Isteni finom ! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊 PS: Liebe Vorbewerter, Lángos ist Street Food und ist traditionell nicht in einem ungarischen Restaurant zu finden.

Wir waren vor kurzem zum ersten Mal bei Barbara's Küche und waren begeistert! Das Essen (ungarische Küche!) ist supergut! Gut gewürzt, das Fleisch zart, die Soßen wunderbar passend. Der Service sehr freundlich, das Ambiente schlicht aber gemütlich mit ungarischer Deko. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Und die Preise sind auch zivil. Zu zweit haben wir mit Getränken knapp 50,-- ausgegeben.

Super leckeres Essen!! Die Gulaschsuppe war mega gut, ganz zartes Fleisch und lecker Gewürzt. Auch die Schnitzel waren sehr lecker. Uriges Ambiente. Gemütlich zum Sitzen.

Von Außen total unscheinbar und leider auch nicht die optimale Lage für so ein tolles Lokal. Drinnen ist es aber sehr gemütlich und einladend. Wir hatten ein überaus gutes Buffet mit verschiedenen leckeren Speisen aus der ungarischen Küche. Es war alles perfekt gewürzt ohne Schnickschnack. Barbara ist eine sehr nette und sympathische Frau und auch die Mitarbeiterinnen waren freundlich. Ich kann Barbaras Lokal wärmstens empfehlen und jedem dazu raten diese Küche zu probieren.

Wir waren zu einer Feier (40. Geburtstag) in Barbara's Küche eingeladen. Das Essen vom Buffet war unglaublich gut, ich habe schon lange kein so leckeres Schnitzel mehr gegessen. Der Gurkensalat war der beste den ich je gegessen habe. Die Auswahl beim Buffet war reichhaltig, für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei und von der Menge hat sich niemand Sorgen machen müssen nichts abzubekommen. Das ganze Team war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, man fühlt sich bei Barbara wirklich willkommen. Wir kommen aus Kaiserslautern und wenn wir das nächste mal in der Nähe sind, werden wir auf jeden Fall in Barbara's Küche vorbeischauen. Wirklich eine Empfehlung für jeden der sehr lecker essen möchte! ♡

We were there on Sunday, and there was a plentiful buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it. We will definitely come again. It's important to make a reservation on weekends.

We were here on a Wednesday, "schnitzel day." We ordered turkey schnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzels were unfortunately paper-thin and deep-fried. The breading was too harsh and too hard; the breading fell off immediately when you cut them. The fried potatoes weren't crispy. After I complained, I got the same meal again. They meant well, but it was just like the first one. I don't understand why they fry schnitzels; they should be fried in clarified butter. That's snack bar level. The Malinka cake was amazing, the highlight of the evening. I also have to criticize the thick air in the dining room, which was very fatty. It's not normal that we all stank of grease. After we paid, we stood outside for a while to get some fresh air. That's when I noticed the sign that said: "On Wednesdays, all schnitzels, turkey, or pork are €13.90 each." My bill was €3 for €14.90, and €1 for €13.90 with drinks, which came to €92. I gave the waitress €100. It's not her fault if the food is no good, but I only noticed later that the bill was wrong. As soon as I got home, I got a stomach ache from all the oil. No thanks, I don't need to go there again.

The location is very close to the Hardtwaldstadion in Sandhausen, but a culinary trip from Heidelberg or elsewhere to this fantastic restaurant is absolutely worth it!

So, the restaurant might be great in the summer, but definitely not in the winter. After a two-hour stay, my clothes smell like I'd helped cook in the kitchen. Not great service, food was faulty... What a shame.

Your fish at the fisherman's festival is really bad and way too expensive. The zander fillet was as dry as a shoe sole, and under the breading was some strange herb marinade that didn't belong there. The fries were fried twice and, at €4.50, were also way too expensive. Last but not least, the small bowl of garlic sauce for €2.00 was a bad joke. Stomach problems were probably a freebie. Once, and never again will you have fish from me.

Highly recommended, with a pleasant location in the countryside. A very friendly couple serves delicious food. There were five of us there, and everyone was very happy with their chosen dishes. Generous portions at fair prices.

We've been to Barbara's Kitchen five or six times now and have always been very satisfied. We enjoyed everything from the Sunday buffet to the regular dinner menu and the new Friday fish menu. Keep it up!

Unfortunately 5 stars are not enough for this restaurant, but it definitely deserves an extra star. Authentic ambience, really great service and the food was to die for. The menu is not exactly large, but still offers enough choice (including vegetarian) but the quality and taste is simply excellent. Really only recommended.

It is cozy and the staff is very nice and friendly, but I would have liked to have found a few more typical Hungarian dishes on the menu, as I celebrated my birthday there and had already raved about it to my guests, unfortunately there was no Langosch on the menu, which many guests were looking forward to, but overall it was still a nice evening

The food was bombastically delicious! Especially the kettle goulash and also the Hungarian pork fillet. The menu isn't too big, but there should be something for everyone. Perhaps you could add something to the menu for dessert and starters. We found the terrain and facility good. The children's play area was right next to the terrace, so children can play here under supervision. There was also a relatively large selection of toys for children (balls, scooters, chalk...) The clearing could have happened a little quicker, as the flies come quickly in the warm temperatures. Then it gets uncomfortable at the table. There are plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. Not that cheap in terms of price, but still okay in my opinion. We will definitely come back!
