One of the best pizzas in Cologne

Good pizzeria in a nice, quieter location. Great option to eat outside. Pizza at fair prices and very tasty. The pasta dishes also impressed us.

Apparently a very popular Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, I've only just gotten to know it, but I'm totally thrilled. Traditional Italian cuisine, no frills but incredibly good. Ideally located in the Agnesviertel. I will come back soon! Mille Grazie!

We ordered online. Unfortunately, the pizza that was ordered with extra mozzarella arrived without any cheese (that can happen). When I asked, they said on the phone that it had been ordered without cheese (definitely not) and that you could come by and pick up a new one (if you ordered online with delivery). There wasn't even an apology and no insight whatsoever. I would have expected a little more cooperation and friendliness here.

Luckily still there. Celentano owns the street. Pizza one of the best. And the owners and their employees are warm people.

Trattoria Celentano is simply a dream. Whether you take it indoors, outdoors or take a pizza on the go/at home. The food is simply fantastic, you can't get more Italian in the food. I would love to eat there every day. Absolutely recommended. Go eat and see for yourself. 10 out of 10 for me.

Excellent outside seating! Cologne doesn't offer many nice places to sit, especially in summer. Here you sit on a quiet street with lots of space. Very friendly and attentive staff! Pizza was nothing out of the ordinary in terms of taste, but above average in terms of quality! I would visit again. Absolutely fair price.

The attention has been very good. The waiters are very kind and friendly. The food was delicious, we ordered pasta and we loved it. I recommend coming if you like real Italian food.

CHEATER! Really cheeky and shameless jokes. Had pre-ordered by phone, but from a neighbor! When I arrived at my colleagues and said “I'm coming to pick up my pizza, I called!” they asked about occupancy! They then wrote something on the piece of paper and only then began to prepare the pizza. That seemed strange to me! So I asked, “Did I call here?” Am I rude here?” the answer to that: “Yes, of course, everything’s fine!” The end of the story: getting half a pizza wrong plus a call back 20 minutes later from the angry neighbor asking me when I would pick up the pizza I ordered! Absolutely anti-social and this shop will never see me again.

We had a great evening with a very tasty pizza 🍕 and an Insalata Mista. Add a Kölsch and everything was perfect. When the temperatures are warm you can sit comfortably outside. The service was great!

The service was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, you immediately feel at home. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

We were there yesterday evening The pizza was very tasty and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The owners and all the staff were very friendly. My son didn't want to just sit still the whole time and stood up often and I thought it was nice to see that the staff wasn't annoyed like in some other restaurants and even had fun with my son when he walked past. Always my pleasure. Very warm, nice people there, thank you again, we will definitely come back. And I can 100% recommend this restaurant.

Great food. Terrible service! Found this one on the Bourdain’s list. Food didn’t disappoint - super fresh pasta, lovely sauce. Flavours were very rich. I wish I could have tried more food but English was very very poor here! Bunch of kids serving tables in a very disorganised way. It ruined a bit the ambience.. I suggest some improvement on the service, because the food is definitely worth the visit.

I went with my boyfriend to dinner yesterday but we didn't have a reservation and yet they gave us a table! While we waited for a table for about 10 minutes they gave us a super delicious appetizer 🫶🏼 then we ordered and it was well worth the wait, it is incredibly delicious 🤤 the service was incredible always very friendly 10/10 🫶🏼

I ordered a Napoli without carpers (due to allergies) and a spinach over the phone. What I got is a Napoli with extra capers and a spinach cake. I'm absolutely confused about what happened to the shop because it used to have very tasty pizza with nice staff. I spent €37 on something I can't eat THANK YOU

Eine schöne Location, vor allem beim Sonnenuntergang, dir Pizza aber, danach fühlte ich mich als ob ich einen Backstein gegessen habe. Habe einige schlechten Pizzen gegessen, diese ist definitiv unter Top 3.

Der Service in diesem Restaurant ist wirklich bemerkenswert engagiert und herzlich. Die Antipasti sind ein wahrer Genuss und die Pizza schmeckt so authentisch wie in Italien. Bei gutem Wetter ist die Möglichkeit, draußen zu sitzen, ein zusätzliches Highlight und verleiht einem das authentische Bella Italia Gefühl, ohne Köln verlassen zu müssen. Eine herausragende kulinarische Erfahrung, die ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann.

Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen, ich musste mich beim Kellner mehrmals wiederholen und ihn bitten die Tortellini überbacken zu lassen. Obwohl ich es bestimmt gefülhlte 3 mal gesagt habe, dann bring er uns das Essen ohne Käse. Und die Tortellini, waren sehr hart, also der Teig nicht durch, und die Soße sehr mager die waren ungenießbar. Der Magen tat mir sehr weh , wir hatten danach Bauchschmerzen und die Getränke waren nicht kalt. Ich habe den Kellner auch gesagt sind die Getränke kalt, der so ja sind. Das Bier muss man eiskalt genießen und nicht warm und die Cola war zimmern Temperatur.

Für mich das beste italienische Restaurant in Köln! Besonders die Carbonara italiana ist hier zu empfehlen.

Pizzeria with efficient service in relatively quiet street in busier part of Cologne

Die Pizza, die ich hier aß, war merkwürdig. Eher ein gebackenes Brot mit Tomate, Oliven und Basilikum. Diese Pizza stand zwischen den ganzen anderen Pizzen, war aber offensichtlich keine... Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich etwas anderes bestellt. Die gemischten Antipasti waren auch arg merkwürdig. Der Bohnensalat war maximal unlecker, nicht gewürzt, vermutlich irgendwie fertig eingekauft. Die anderen Antipasti waren auch nur recht mittelmäßig. Zudem kann man in dem Laden nicht mit Karte zahlen.

Leckere, reich und frisch belegte Pizza zum fairen Preis. Alles bestens.

Solange es den Laden noch gibt: Eine Institution italienischer Lebenskultur im Herzen von Köln.

Beste Pasta und gute Pizza - authentisch italienisch. Weinauswahl mehr als ordentlich… und um hier auf den Rezensenten zu antworten, der sich bezüglich der Weinpreise echauffiert hat: sowohl rot als auch weiß oder Rosé: es ist schon eher eine hochwertige Auswahl. Diese werden zudem mehr als großzügig ausgeschenkt. Service ist immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und superschnell. Noch mal zu den Preisen: die Pasta Salsiccia kostet gefühlt seit Jahren 13,90 € (!) Einzig gar nicht gute Sache - und das gibt es inzwischen fast nur noch in Deutschland (ich komme wirklich gut rum) - man kann nur bar bezahlen. Gar Keine Karte. Und das ist 2023 einfach wirklich ein absolutes no go. Daher auf jeden Fall ein Stern Abzug. Scusi 🙃

Wie vor 13 Jahren super gegessen!

One of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite places in Cologne. We came here in search of some amazing Italian food after a long walk. We ordered various pizzas and everything was delicious. The food comes out quickly and the staff were always nice and accommodating. Really loved this place and would recommend.

Das Restaurant Celentano sucht einen Nachfolger und möchte das Restaurant gerne verkaufen. So lange es noch geöffnet hat, ist es ein Besuch Wert. Das Essen fand ich sehr gut. Auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung.

Äußerst freundliches Personal, der Pizzateig war auf den Punkt, der Belag großzügig und der Preis ist für die gebotene Qualität sehr angemessen.

Weine und Getränke sind viel teuer, 1 Flasche einfacher Lugana oder auch Sauvignon 39,-€, 0,7 l Wasser 8,-€ das bezahlt man noch nicht mal in innerstädtischen Edelrestaurants wie „Hase“ oder „ La Fonda“!!! Das Essen ist allenfalls so lala… Der Laden hat sich sehr verschlechtert!!!

Ciao! Eigentlich super lecker, aber wir hatten Thunfisch bestellt und beim Abholen dann eine Funghi bekommen. Viel uns erst etwas später auf, also gingen wir zurück und erzählten vom Dilemma. Sie machten uns eine neue.. stellen zu Hause dann fest, dass einfach Thunfisch auf die Pilze gelegt wurde. 😀😀 schaaaaade!

Super nett, köstlich, einfach perfekt.

Eigentlich guter Laden, bin gerne und oft hier, aber heute war es eine Katastrophe. Das lag am Versagen des jungen Kellners: Zuerst gab man uns die falschen Getränke, dann vergas man unser Essen (1,5 Std.) und dann brachte man uns verbranntes Brot und vergas wieder die Getränke (wurde am Ende auch falsch abgerechnet). Will dem Laden irgendwann nochmal eine Chance geben, dann bitte ohne den jungen Kellner mit besserem, erfahrenerem Personal!

We were very pleased when we tried this restaurant last year. After the first positive experience, we occasionally ordered from here. Unfortunately, things changed with the order we placed tonight. Honestly this was the worst pizza experience we've ever had. First, one of the pizzas was delivered incomplete even though we had paid for the extra toppings. Olives, the second ingredient, they were 1) very few, 2) tasted like plastic. The ingredients of the other pizza were complete, but the taste of all the ingredients was very bad. Overall, the pizza dough was of poor quality and had a bad margarine smell. The tomato sauce had no seasoning at all. The taste of the ingredients used was so terrible that it should not have been served. And finally… cheese was a complete fiasco… I don't think I can eat cheese for a while. As a result, we couldn't even eat half of the pizza. Disappointment. I would rather eat frozen pizza than order from here again…

Das schlechteste Essen seit langem. Ölige nichts sagende Pasta Fruiti del mar, matschige geschmagsbefreite Pizza, ekliges Billigfleisch verkauft als Piccata Milanese . Das ganze zu überhören Preisen. Dazu zwei laufende Fernseher, helles Neonlicht und eine unerträgliche Lautstärke, unfähiger Service und keine Kartenzahlung. Hier kann man nur ganz abraten.

Traditionelle Trattoria im Familienbesitz mit üppig belegter Pizza, Pasta und hausgemachtem Tiramisu. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass sich hier auch ortsansässige italienische Familien wohl fühlen. Alles unkompliziert und herzlich. Eine Reservierung ist aber empfehlenswert, weil es (besonders am Wochenende) drinnen schnell voll werden kann. Perfekt für ein frühes Abendessen vor dem Kinobesuch (10 Minuten Fußweg zum Cinedom). Sorry, keine Fotos – wir waren zum Essen hier, nicht zum Fotografieren.

Die Pizza war großartig. Meine Vegetaria ohne Käse hat mich sehr überrascht. Es gab lecker gegrilltes Gemüse darauf - wirklich toll! Auch die Pizzen mit Käse waren sehr geschmackvoll und gut abgestimmt. Als das Lokal voller wurde, war die Lautstärke unglaublich hoch. Wir konnten uns nicht mehr unterhalten und mussten leider weiterziehen. Auch das Ambiente (nah einander stehende Tische, Deko) ist weniger einladend. Das ist Luft nach oben. Vor allem, wenn man sich an die hohen Preise orientiert, die man in einem Restaurant erwartet.

Habe noch nie so eine gute Pasta (Tagliatelle a' la Putanesca) gegessen, meinen Hut vor dem Service bitte weiter so!!!!!!!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und wurde schnell zubereitet. Wie hier einige Rezensionen schon darauf hinweisen, sollte man unbedingt seine Rechnung überprüfen (auch bei uns wurde der Betrag falsch berechnet). Leider ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich und es wird leider auch nirgendwo darauf hingewiesen (Stand 07/22).

La pizza era buona , molto molto buona ,ho assaggiato la capricciosa, la casareccia (a fauzza) ed erano ottime. Poi ho assaggiato la parmigiana e non si poteva mangiare con le melanzane grigliate!

Food came fast and the service was at first friendly. My pasta was with no salt and hard I had tortellini and I don’t believe this have to be al dente…. I also payed 15€ it was expensive for a dish that taste bland. All this would have been okay if the service wasn’t this rude. I ask for a bill from far away. And then the bill came he didn’t even ask if we want it separat or together. Just because we were man and woman he made it together. All this would have not mattered I just asked how much I have to pay and if he can give me change as I had only 20€ and couldnt split it with my college. He refused and said if I wanted a separate bill bill I should have said from the start!!! he was very rude and didn’t want to change my 20 bill haha I mean next time I can scream from 5 meters I want a separat bill… but I don’t think that this is standard. They should come to ur table and ask or later if u ask them to change ur 20 € be friendly. Super unfriendly and rude just by asking a simple question. Never will go again… there are much nicer places all around the Same area!!!

Die Pizza und Pasta waren wirklich sehr gut, allerdings ist der Service schlecht. Tiramisu kann ich nicht so wirklich empfehlen. Es ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Hasta ahora son una de mis pizzas favoritas en köln , el sabor es tan unico y deliciosos. La Pizza frutto di mare se las recomiendo tambien y una bebida llamada Chinotto me parecio particular y refrescante.

Sehr sehr leckeres italienisches Essen. Man fühlt sich wie in Italien. Pizza, Antipasti, Pasta und vor allem die wechselnden und sehr frischen Tagesgerichte, einfach durchprobieren. Leider keine Karten und keine Bitcoin Zahlungen akzeptiert. Deswegen nur 4 Sterne.

Food was great. Tried several pizzas here and everything was super tasty. I honestly did notntry other dishes from them but really enjoyed the pizza.

Klasse Bedienung, super Essen, richtig urig und gut, auch die Preise ok. Was will man mehr, sizilianisches Flair in Köln!

Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Nachbartisch hatte nach gefühlt zwei Minuten ihre Pizza und Nudeln. Wir mussten ein wenig länger warten, war aber absolut eine normale bis kurze Wartezeit. Und das obwohl der Laden komplett voll war. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit der Pizza. Sie war unfassbar lecker und hat absolut satt gemacht. Gerne wieder!

Ein außerordentlich guter Italiener ohne viel Schnick Schnack. Das Bild mit den leicht begleideten Damen auf der Herrentoilette finde ich unpassend.

Ich habe dort eine Pizza Diavolo gegessen und das war die besste Pizza die ich bissher gegessen habe. Einfach Top. Die Inhaber und die Bedienung waren super Nett und Freundlich. Einfach empfehlenswert.
