Bisù Nippes in Köln

I love this place. I have been twice with friends and it's the perfect treat and a relaxing night. The food is delicious! The menu is split in vegan, vegetarian and meat and that makes it easy. It's nice to share with friends. The atmosphere is nice, especially outside. It is a popular place so reserving in advance is recommended. When you want to sit outside it could be useful to come early since they don't reserve there and it tends to be full. It's on the pricier side though. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Nippes and even Cologne. I will definitely be back!

I was excited to try this Italian tapas bar, but was sadly disappointed. The portions are tiny compared to the price. My tiramisu was barely enough for four spoonfuls—and the price was completely exorbitant. The taste was okay, but the value for money was terrible. Too bad, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, highly recommended and I will be back! There are so many delicious options on the menu. Vegan or vegetarian, alongside fish and meat. I eat everything, and then the selection is particularly large. We tried all categories, and everything was good to very good. Order one after the other, rather than the entire selection at once like we did. It's more relaxed eating; when hot dishes arrive, they can be eaten warm, and the table isn't as crowded. It's admirable how quickly the plates arrive.

Yeah. The place seems to be a real magnet. You're seated like pearls on a string. The so-called tapas range in taste from good to unbearable, but of course we didn't try everything. We went for the cod cream, skipped the saltimbocca. The service was friendly but overwhelmed (a 30-minute wait for more bread). For me, it's not important that a place has been chosen as the place to be. I want good food and a nice place to sit.

Pure enthusiasm! The perfect place to gather on a warm summer evening. The terrace is spacious and inviting, the food is amazing, and the staff is friendly and relaxed.

We didn't have a reservation and were lucky. It's usually fully booked. Great food, Reissdorf beer on tap, very friendly service. It's centrally located but very pleasantly quiet in Nippes. Great place! Drink prices aren't as high as in many comparable restaurants. Thanks, we'll be back!

Nice restaurant with good vibe when weather is good, and outdoor seating is recommended. All dishes are like tapas in smaller portions so more choices are available per person. Calamari, shrimps in garlic oil were tasty, spicy risotto was a bit below expectation due to the flavor and texture, white beet was good and service was good as each dishes was announced when brought to the table. A nice choice to have good chat with friends or colleagues.

Went to this great restaurant as a group. No pizza, no pasta! But tapas in Italian. Really great! Everyone can really find something here. Fish, meat, vegetarian. Super deliciously prepared. Served in small bowls. Very appetizingly prepared. I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to Cologne.

Italian tapas? Great idea! Mega good team and staff. Beautiful and spacious outdoor area. And super delicious food! I'm rarely this euphoric, but the store is worth a visit. Sure, Gaffel Kölsch and Moretti would be great, but there's always something. Just love.

We can recommend Bisù without reservation. Top service, very friendly, calm and quick. The ambience takes you to Bella Italia and the Italian tapas are a poem. We'll definitely come back.

What's that supposed to mean? You order a meal and it comes to the table completely black, i.e. burnt. When making a complaint, Dr Koch says: “It has to be that way”. So should I assume that food only tastes good when burned? And then the tuna tartare, I lay awake all night because of this nasty food. My guests, 7 of us, weren't impressed either. So you have to give it 1 star, this restaurant doesn't deserve more.

Italian tapas, absolutely delicious! We stumbled into the restaurant by chance late one evening and actually only wanted a quick bite to eat. But the tapas are so delicious... We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back!

Very lively atmosphere and totally unpretentious, friendly service in a vintage-style restaurant. The Italian small dishes served here taste good, but are not a revelation. And even if they are “tapas”, they are either too expensive or the portions are too small.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. We had dinner as a couple on a Monday evening. It was already full inside, so we were offered a place in the winter garden. It was cozy and we really liked it. We ordered quickly and the drinks came very quickly. Unfortunately, disaster then began. The very young waitress stood behind me with the tray on which there was a wine glass, the contents of which were found a few seconds later on the back of my neck and on my pants. She apologized immediately, I was also very friendly, anything can happen. After a few minutes she brought napkins so I could pat myself dry. Ok so far so good, so we waited for the food, we had also ordered two plates so we could share the tapas. Unfortunately, almost all the tapas didn't come in quick succession or even at the same time, but one after the other. The saltimbocca stood for 5 minutes until the next dish came. The food itself was ok, but not outstanding. Coupled with the really bad service (which the young girl couldn't help), it was unfortunately not a nice dining experience for us. Maybe we had a bad day, but there was neither a drink on the house nor a request or an offer to go somewhere warm if a table became available. Too bad.

There are Italian-inspired tapas here. From vegan to vegetarian to fish or meat, there is something for every taste. Plus good wines and always very nice staff.

Small, rustic Italian restaurant in Cologne Nippes. Difficult parking situation in the area. Without a reservation you have no chance of getting a seat. The service is friendly and quick. The menu includes 60 dishes in tapas format. Everything is freshly prepared and extremely tasty. Vegans and vegetarians don't miss out here either. We had a very nice evening there and will definitely come back.

We were there yesterday for the first but definitely not the last time. I found the selection really appealing. Everything we ordered was really tasty and the service was very accommodating. There were four of us and we all ate our fill and also consumed enough drinks for a reasonable price.

Friendly staff, delicious tapas even after 10 p.m.!

We visited Bisu with friends from abroad, who of course wanted to offer only the best in culinary terms. After years of in-depth research, Bisu has been on my list for a long time. However, the mother of the two shops in Sülz. Due to a logistically advantageous situation, we decided on the location in Nippes. The Bisu is beautifully located on a side street, less than two minutes' walk from the Florastraße stop. Inconspicuous and yet expressive at the same time. A very harmonious and beautiful appearance. Very welcoming. However, let's focus on the food. We didn't know this type of tapas from Italian cuisine. However, this idea should have been implemented years ago. Who doesn't long for the classics of Italian cuisine like Vitello Tonnato or Carpaccio in such adequate portions that you can eat them at the same time? Personally, I've had a desire for quite some time now to just stuff myself with appetizers when I visit my favorite Italian restaurant. If you also have this wish, Bisú is the right choice. Let's get to the service: Incredibly good, very friendly waiter initially offered us a seat outside and definitely kept us happy with the prospect of a seat inside or in the heated area. Our request was responded to very openly and quickly and the staff always kept an eye on all circumstances, so that we were assigned a table after about 10-15 minutes. The food was incredibly good. We tried our way across the map. There is something for every taste. It is specifically divided into categories so that you can order vegan, vegetarian, meat and fish dishes. Very well adapted to the individual palate. Every meal I made was delicious. What stands out, however, are the pizza fritta neapoletana, the lasagne and the fried sardines. The highlight, however, was definitely the dessert. The tiramisu is very tasty, the tartufo can definitely do something depending on your taste, but the star is the pistachio mousse. Melts on the palate. I'm generally not team dessert. However, I will probably order each dessert individually on my next visit to Bisú if I don't feel like something savory. Definitely not the last visit, I look forward to many more.

Service and food were great, but the ambience (interior) was unfortunately negative. It was a bit cramped inside, despite there being a table of 4 for 3 people. Since the food came very quickly, I think that the tables would be occupied several times because it really didn't invite you to linger for long.

Four of us ate there. Everyone ordered 3 delicacies. At the end there was a delicious dessert. We drove home completely happy and full.

Chic restaurant. Italian tappas are really delicious. Staff attentive and friendly. The Sati-Sour is amazing. In summer with a large outdoor area. Card payment possible. We'll definitely be back soon. Thanks for the great evening.

Nice restaurant with Italian tapas. Unfortunately the food doesn't suit my taste, but that's my subjective opinion. What really bothered me was the vegetarian menu. Many of the dishes contain parmesan cheese, although it is not vegetarian. Either a vegetarian alternative should be used or the dishes should be written on a non-vegetarian menu.

I was surprised by 2 things: 1. That I was full from two courses. (which was probably because of the bread) 2. From the rather steep prices. Good to have tried it out. The concept seems to be working. It was lavishly full. But for me the sometimes very simple preparation of some tapas was simply too simple. I wish the team good luck, although they will have to do without another visit from me and my family.

Delicious tapas in a very nice atmosphere. Service very nice. Overall, all of the tapas were delicious, the shrimp were not fresh, firm and didn't taste good. Were taken off the bill. The rabbit was also rather tough, a shame about the lovely rabbit meat. The risotto was also too firm for my taste. My recommendation: if you forego the extravagance and stick to the basics, you will be very happy here. When it came to the absolute basics, I missed the patatas bravas and the grilled green peppers. Too bad

Nice atmosphere (sat outside), but food below average. Portions manageable, carelessly prepared and 6 out of 8 dishes soaked in oil. Service was friendly, but also overwhelmed at times. We won't be coming back.

The tapas are delicious and the selection is good, especially vegetarian and vegan. Sometimes a bit too salty, e.g. the quinoa bowl. It was a shame that some tapas "just" had the same ingredients put together in a slightly different way. The prices are quite high for that. For example, you get two mini eggplant farinata for €6, with half of the plate covered with the same cashew aioli that you can also order separately. Unfortunately, it is not clear from the menu that the ailoi is also included in the farinata. If you realize that you never get a great price-quantity ratio when it comes to tapas, it's quite nice here. Service was super nice and a bit chaotic, but that's normal for a full shop on a Friday evening.

The Bisù is a unique Italian tapas restaurant, which is located directly on Leipziger Platz in a very good location in Nippes.
If you feel like taking a little trip to Italy, you can spend a lovely evening here.
We really enjoyed the food and the service was very friendly and attentive - like in Italy:). The saltimbocca, the pea gnocchi, the herb salad with roast beef and the oven-roasted vegetables on hummus were among our highlights. We look forward to visiting the restaurant again soon.

Nice place, concept is ok. Price/performance doesn't fit. 7 euros for a mini saltimbocca is too much. The food itself was average, but nothing earth-shattering. 4 tapas for about 35.00 euros Cologne 2.20. Service was super friendly, but when it got full, more was requested (dip as a starter needed two reminders and came with the first tapas)

The little things are written down using an assigned number on a specially designed beer mat and then ordered. The service is very friendly, attentive and approachable. The many, especially Italian classics, are very tasty. It's fun to be able to try many in one evening. With a wheelchair you can sit outside and inside, but the ground-level toilets are unfortunately far too narrow and therefore unsuitable for wheelchairs

I can only say great. There were three of us there. Everyone ordered 3 tapas. We made sure everyone liked it. We put everything in the middle from the start. The tapas came little by little. With the delicious home-baked bread, which we ordered some more, it was absolutely sufficient. We tried everything from vegetarian to meat and fish. Lugana with great taste. Tables may be a bit crowded. Otherwise everything is fine

Great restaurant in beautiful Nippes

It's a really nice tapas bar and a change from the "classic" tapas. The additional drinks menu has good drinks (recommend the Negroni) and the food has something for everyone (there is even liver). In terms of price, it is understandable that it is set a little higher given the range of variations, I just didn't like the fact that the portions were different sizes/smalls for no apparent reason (e.g. the duck (very good!) comes with salad and is one good portion. Or the chickpea balls alone make up almost a portion of food. The tuna tartare, on the other hand, is disappointingly small.)

The food was very tasty, you need at least 4 of the Italian-style tapas to fill you up. Attention: Tapas can be served when the table is ready and the kitchen is ready - neither together nor sorted by person or order. Service was a bit chaotic, OK, it was also quite busy that evening. When it comes to drinks, you should mark the lid yourself, otherwise the calculation may not be correct for larger groups.

Unfortunately I don't like the small plates and bowls. You can't mix salt and you can't cut meat. But the food is super delicious. It would be nice if you could decide for yourself what is a starter, main course or dessert. Today it turned out the way the kitchen wanted it. It's a shame, otherwise it would be really nice. A slightly different Italian restaurant. Similar to the Spanish, you can also try out many different small dishes here. Everything we ordered was very tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and you can satisfy both small and large hungers with delicious small portions. We were very satisfied and would like to come back to eat. Price performance is very good.
