Best Bahn mi in Berlin, Love the Omelette. Long queue at lunch, easier in afternoon. Only takes cash.

This is my go-to for my “traditional” Bahn mi cravings. The baguette is unbeatable here. Always served warm and fresh, and the decor makes me feel like I’m right back in Vietnam!

The banh mi was okay. Unfortunately, it wasn't very traditional.

This place is such a staple. Went here everyday during my Berlin getaway. Such good food that comes fast.

It was very good, especially the bread was really out of this world! Warm, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it's really perfect! But personally I found that the taste of the pickled veggies was a bit too present. The bahn mi is not spicy (which I really appreciated) but you can add the sriracha that is at the tables. The only thing is the service is a bit impersonal but it's there for the context "take and go". The place is really well located. My advice: take the tofu one, it’s really good!!

One of the best bahn mi’s I’ve ever had. I got the grilled pork option, which was flavourful and had crispy crackling. Prices are fair and food arrives quickly, and the vibe of the restaurant is cool.

Saw highly recommended on social media. Didn’t disappoint. €6 for the Bang Mi and good selections. As a vegetarian the tofu option was great and having the siracha everywhere was a nice touch. Got a Coke Zero as well. All in all a very good lunch for less than €10. Did have to wait for maybe 5 minutes as was popular but suppose that speaks for it self. Lovely stuff

The price for the portion is perfectly reasonable. But what you get is far from an authentic banh mi. The bread and pork banh mi are closer to a German sandwich with a slightly Asian twist. And the chicken banh mi is a huge disappointment. It's always a bad sign when you have to add siracha to get any flavor at all. What about tofu, pâté, carrots, chilies, Vietnamese sausage, or all the other flavorful ingredients that are missing here? I've had much better banh mi in various other European cities, unfortunately.

The menu is limited but the few options are all delicious. I recommend you to take the one with chicken. It was so delicious that I took a second one. They have a small terrace. Recommended for lunch.

Easily best spot in Berlin! Already been here a few times. Super cute place with wonderful atmosphere always lively but not too busy. Usually always fast with the orders even with a lot of people and very fresh food. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a Banh Mi spot!! Side note: CASH ONLY

Eine der leckersten Bread, die ich in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Das “Roasted pork banh mi” erinnert mich sehr stark an meinen Lieblings-Banh mi-Laden in Vietnam - Banh mi von Madame Khanh in Hoi An. Auch das Dekonim Restaurant mit den Tischen und Stühlen wirkt sehr authentisch, ich habe das Gefühl im Wohnzimmer meiner Eltern in Vietnam zu sein. Nur die Qualität des Essens und das Ambiente an sich sind schon 5/5. Aber der Service war schrecklich. Die Frau an der Kasse mit den kurzen Haaren und dem Pony in schwarz war unglaublich unfreundlich. Es sah so aus, als hätte sie etwas Persönliches gegen mich. I fought with a group of friends in the morning, for me to join the group fighting in the first Mal, so that the Vietnamese culture could be heard. The Art and Wine, with the help of the French, we have completed the Order and we have a good working relationship with the culture. Now you can also smile a little when serving Vietnamese, also add a little Nachricht for you in the middle of the conversation: You should smile a little when serving customers, this will not only improve the image of your restaurant in the eyes of customers at that time, but also make them want to come back. If you talk to customers with a grumpy attitude, answering just for the sake of it like that person, it will be difficult to keep customers. Luckily for you, the food at the restaurant is delicious, so I will come back but will only order and take it away. If I stay at the restaurant with a grumpy service attitude like yours, the food will be ruined!

Absolutely terrible service. The lady at the counter (with a bob and bangs) isn't smiling at all, which I can understand after a whole Saturday of work. But when I ask her about allergies, she shows signs of annoyance, rolling her eyes and making an annoyed noise with her mouth. It's almost like a dream how anyone could treat a customer like that. I'll clarify that her aggression was due to the fact that she felt she had to repeat something to me, even though I understood it and asked a different question. And even if I did ask for something to be repeated, because I didn't understand it! When would I allow someone to do the same by making annoyed noises and rolling their eyes? As a customer, I would never allow myself to do that, and here it's the waitress who's doing it to me. And there wasn't a long line at all, which might explain why she wanted to expedite the order (although that wouldn't justify her behavior in any case). I bought the food for someone other than myself and therefore placed an order, but if it had been for me, I would have left immediately without buying the sandwich after such disrespect. I've worked behind the cash register all day myself and know that at the end of the day, you can be overtired and not as friendly as you think, and that's completely understandable. But when you can actually afford to be disrespectful to the customer (and then it's the clerk who didn't get it), it's completely disgusting. Especially since I've been in her position before and am therefore making a point of being pleasant as a customer. There are many other banh mi restaurants in the area; I will undoubtedly avoid yours in the future and advise my friends to do the same, unless they like being mugged for no reason. Update: I'm giving it two stars more than when I went back, and the banh mi was good and the woman was nicer. And the prices are correct.

Really delicious Banh Mi sandwiches. Whatever you take it with - delicious! There is nothing to talk about, you have to come and try it. I recommend it with all my heart :)

As someone with a native Asian DNA, I found the Bánh mì to be quite average overall. The baguette itself was pleasantly crispy and well-made, which I appreciated. ☝🏻 However, the filling left a lot to be desired…. The pork belly was unfortunately very dry, and much of it seemed like overcooked, doughy pieces. While the pickled radish added a nice touch of freshness , the mayonnaise was heavily seasoned and overwhelmingly salty, which takes off the balance of flavors. All in all, it’s worth trying once for the experience, but I personally wouldn’t go back for a second round.

Delicious sandwiches: crispy bread, fresh ingredients. The choice is limited, but it's not a problem, because the options they have are all excellent. The environment is super well-kept and makes the stay very pleasant. Too bad they only accept cash and that to order everything is self-service.

Since they changed location, the place has improved a lot (much mor sitting space, including a terrace). Probably the best Bánh mì in Berlin — and at a better price. It’s usually full, so expect a wait of 10 to 20 minutes, but it’s worth it. They only offer four versions, which shows they specialize in this one thing — and they do it well.

Truly delicious as a small meal or as a snack between meals. I highly recommend it, especially with grilled pork! The price is also great for what you get.

I don't understand the hype! This has nothing to do with traditional banh mi. It's missing the most important ingredient: pâté!!! Plus, the bread isn't as airy or fluffy as it should be. Is that bread regular bread, maybe pre-baked bread? Try CocoCup's banh mi, and you'll know what I mean.

Banh Mi Stable in Berlin’s Mitte district is a must-visit for Vietnamese sandwich enthusiasts. Be prepared for a short wait during peak hours, but rest assured, the delectable banh mi are worth it.  

OK for a banh mi in Berlin. The meat is crispy, the bread is fresh but it lacks mayonnaise and seasoning. Quantity is also lacking. For 4.5€ it's not worth a Parisian bahn mi and it doesn't fill you up like a Döner but the intention to do well is there. I will come back to try the tofu version. Edit May 2025: I tested it again last week and I must admit that the value for money has improved. The pork banh mi and the chicken banh mi were tasty for €6.50 which is good. I will come back

Best banh mi I’ve had so far! We ordered chicken satay and herb tofu ones which were really good, especially the pickled veggies. Perhaps not authentic though as at least the chicken one had no paté, which i personally preferred :)

Best Bahn mi I have ever tried! I got the one with chicken inside of it. The bread is really nice, the sauce inside is really yummy, and it has thick slices of chicken.

Best Banh Mi in Berlin, we tried the pork, the chicken and the omelette one. Chicken was really good and pork was amazing. The pickled veggies were so taste. Also is a good portion for 6.5€ and the service was amicable and quick. I also loved the atmosphere.

As a Vietnamese, I approve the authenticity of Bánh Mì here. The dough is crunchy and airy, served hot. Meat, vegetables and sauce are stuffed inside nicely. The portion is smaller than other places but so is the price, fits as a perfect quick grab & eat snack.

Pickled veggies are delicious. Great combination with the crunchy bread and soft meat.

Super cute restaurant with a modern Vietnamese vibe. Everything is clean, looks authentic and the staff are friendly. I wasn't expecting anything and was a bit skeptical because the Banh Mi doesn't have a sponsor. Luckily, I was able to convince myself otherwise. The Pork Banh Mi is super crispy, tastes fresh and all in all is seasoned on point. The bread is a mixture of a regular baguette and the Vietnamese baguette. When you bite into it, it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The price is fair. There's always something going on here, and rightly so! Definitely an absolute recommendation.

The best Banh Mi are at Rosenthaler Platz. The recipe is authentic, from Vietnam. If the climatic conditions prevailed like in Vietnam, it would be almost perfect. French wheat flour, rice flour... good dough management... But there are also imitations and that can also be an art. But is it still a Banh Mi? Baguettes from a large bakery near Aachen that are ready to be baked can taste good, with the real seasoning on top that enhances the taste? Delicious filling, juicy proteins... The quantity shows that you like it. Taste can be so diverse. Bon appetite

Easily and far away the best and most authentic banh mi restaurant in berlin. Superb bread, fresh ingredients and a variety of meat and veg options as topings. 6,5€ is really fair when you compare other restaurants or smaller shops which sell them for 7,90€ and above. Highly recommend the grilled pork version!

As two big Banh Mi fans, we finally made it to the stable - and were not disappointed. The location looks very nice, even if it was unfortunately lacking in cleanliness. Almost all tables were crumbled and partly smeared, although in our opinion the service was not very demanding. We had a banh mi with pork and one with an omelet. Both came in a wonderful bread, one of the best things we've ever had as Banh Mi in Berlin! Great. The herbs and sauces were delicious, exactly as it should be. The crispy pork belly was a poem. At 6.50 both unbeatable in terms of price and performance. I didn't find the service that great, almost a little unfriendly, but the food is awesome! 🤤🤤🤤 definitely try this out! Edit: I was there a few times during the week in spring 2025 and it wasn't messy and the service was very friendly. 🙏 Top recommendation!

A staple! The Bahn Mis here are addicting. Whenever you go, the quality of the sandwich will be top-notch. Love the atmosphere as well as service is always always nice! Only cash payments, though, but worth any trip to an ATM.

I got the pork banh mi and it was pretty bland, aside from the pickled vegetable. Don't understand the glowing reviews, maybe I was unlucky. One thing they nailed was the attitude of the staff, they were either indifferent or annoyed as if you just insulted their families.

Grilled pork was excellent. Very polite service. Atmosphere was nice as well.

Really delicious Banh Mi at an absolutely fair price-performance ratio at €6 for the vegetarian (also vegan option) Banh Mi with tofu. Self Service makes the whole thing quite quick and fits the concept well. Dogs are very welcome 🐕

Been there a couple of times, very consistent food, only down side is that they only serve sandwiches, but the good thing is they are always tasty and have a unique flavor, pork belly sandwich is highly recommended, place has nice seating and is nicer than your typical sandwich shop, I hated on thing tho is that u need to pay 1 euro for a glass of tap water

Flavor of the Banh Mi is great! To me is a fair 4.5, it is missing this amazing flavor that quicks in once your eating but besides that is good. I tried the tofu (4.8) and pork belly (4.5)

What a gem! One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Berlin. We got the grilled pork and the omelette. The pork was super tender with perfectly crisp crackling on top, giving you a huge burst of flavour as soon as you bite into the roll. The omelette, while lightly fried, felt more like a fried egg, so expect a bit of mess from the runny yolk, but it really took me straight back to egg rolls for breakfast when we travelled Vietnam back in the day. The balance of flavors is spot on, not too salty, with a light mayo sauce that ties everything together beautifully. The pickled vegetables add a refreshing crunch, perfectly complementing the crispy, fresh bread, which is soft with a lightly floured exterior and soaks up the juices of the filling perfectly. It feels strange to have to write this, but the ingredients are also served at balanced temperatures, which for some reason a lot of places here just don’t get how to do right. No stone cold cucumber in the middle of your warm banh mi here! The place is bustling, the wait is reasonable, the prices are very democratic, and the atmosphere is great: very cozy. Go here. P.s. I don’t often write reviews, especially for places that already have lots of hype, but I’m adding another voice to the crowd to say that this is one of the best banh mis I’ve had the pleasure to eat. The cracklin on the pork was out of this world — crispy, flavourful, and melted in your mouth. The bread was a perfect baguette, which is so hard to find in Berlin. Even though it was the peak lunchtime rush I only waited for around 5 minutes for my sandwich after placing my order. The line moves quickly, but definitely get there close to opening so you don’t have to wait in line forever.

Hands down the best Báhn mì in Berlin. Crispy skin soft pork belly, crispy fresh baguette, pickled vegetables and sauce make this the best quick food around the area. Maybe even better than doner if you eat it for lunch. Doner is still the night king. Fast service, no beer.

Closed contrary to Google opening times. I was there at 3 p.m. And supposedly it's open until 8 p.m. But it was closed.

Fair price. Very tasty. I wish they had some spicy options and I didn't have to rely on Sriracha. Some freshly sliced Jalapeños would be enough, that why I take them home and add them rather then dine at the spot.
