Great food, unique location with a pleasant atmosphere.

Yes, very well-known and old restaurant, formerly a greenhouse, now a bamboo garden with a huge rubber tree in the middle, like in the jungle, great. Always happy to come back.

The food is great. Unfortunately the service is poor as a black lady is coming there. I felt some hostility. There was also a clear difference how Caucasian customers were welcomed and treated compared to myself. Food was just dumped on the table, nobody helped me to take me to the table, when asking a question, not trying to understand me. A place i will never go again.

Good place for family gatherings. Everything is very uncomplicated and you can even bring dogs with you.

We had dinner in the Bamboo Garden with a few colleagues on April 5th, 2025. The table was reserved in advance, and we can only recommend a reservation. We ate from the buffet, with a wide selection and of very good quality. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced too. Two notes: 1) At lunchtime the restaurant is completely closed between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. So you should plan enough time for the buffet at lunchtime and be there early. 2) We only missed small spoons / teaspoons, which would be ideal for eating dessert or ice cream. All in all, we can only recommend the bamboo garden.

A really great Chinese restaurant! The atmosphere was very pleasant and there were enough seats, so you can easily accommodate yourself spontaneously. The service was very friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the food - everything was delicious and was obviously prepared with high-quality ingredients. The selection is also huge, there really is something for everyone. I'd love to come back!

Everything was great, clean, good food and service

Always super friendly. Food is always refilled immediately. From here on out, you have to wait for service for a second/third drink order. A little louder when the restaurant is busy, but that's normal since it's an old greenhouse. Sweater is not recommended as it is always very warm, even for my wife. Children are of course welcome. We always enjoy going there.

Show me a tree that's in a restaurant! Exactly, the Bamboo Garden is a unique restaurant and a visual eye-catcher. More modern than other Chinese restaurants in the country. The standard dishes were like any all-you-can-eat restaurant. But for the price of €24, it's reasonable.

All you can eat is recommended. The selection is so good that once you've tried everything, from sushi as a starter, to various dishes and grilled dishes, to dessert, you're really full. Price is quite reasonable.

I have really known Bamboo Garden for at least 14 years. Were there yesterday at lunchtime on Saturday. Unfortunately the selection wasn't as usual, after asking if they didn't have any shrimp. I was told you had to order and pay extra. The fresh counter is really very limited in terms of selection. The finished dishes are delicious but the selection wasn't as good as others... I found it a shame. Of course it could be that the selection looks different in the evening. Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed. I hope it wasn't my last visit as there is now a lot of competition in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area.

Very good all you can eat buffet in Düsseldorf. The atmosphere in the old greenhouse is really very cozy and the buffet is cheap and delicious. The service is always very quick and courteous. It's not a fancy shop, but we're still extremely excited to go there. A mix of nostalgia and enjoyment. The bamboo garden can do it all!

Was I at another restaurant? We were there at 7:30 p.m.... Meager buffet, what was there was quite cold... At around 8:15 p.m. prawns were out and weren't refilled... Instead, they started putting everything away because it really wasn't full... And today the food is really hard on my stomach... And I have a bad stomach... And then €62 for 2 people buffet and drinks... Luckily we had a voucher... It's actually a shame... But maybe they just had a bad day 😂😂😂😂

Always eaten from the buffet so far. The employees are friendly and accommodating. In addition to the normal buffet, there is a grill station where selected products are freshly grilled and then delivered to your place. Price performance top. A rather outdated all you can eat restaurant. The staff is very friendly. The food, on the other hand, could be of much better quality. Of course, don't expect haute cuisine at this price, but you can certainly speak of inferior goods here. Everything was done quite carelessly. The dishes are totally oily and the sauces are pure glutamate bombs. I was hardly home when I had to “run”. There really are much better alternatives. Too bad.

Very very tasty food. The buffet is highly recommended. Sushi as a starter. Main course everything your heart desires, especially freshly prepared shark, lamb chops, beef fillet, kangaroo. For dessert, lots of cake and pudding too. You definitely get your money's worth.

A standard all you can eat Chinese like there are hundreds of, nothing outstanding but plentiful and tasty. Good location right at the airport, hotel right next to it, practical if you have an early flight the next morning.

The best all you can eat buffet!! We have been eating there regularly for more than five years. We have tried others in the meantime but Bamboo Garden remains the only true Asian!!! Very child-friendly and the food always tastes great!!! Thanks for the great service!!!

Great atmosphere in the former greenhouse. There was a good selection at the normal buffet and also at the Mongolian buffet and there was a numerous and varied selection for dessert. The ingredients were all fresh, the service was very friendly and quick. Anytime again, highly recommended!

I ordered the chicken chop suey, it was very bland and needed a lot of seasoning, there were maybe 5 prices of vegetables in my dish. The waitress didn't make eye contact and spoke with 1 word maximum. For a place that has garden in it's name, you'd expect them to have a terrace at least, but no. Unfortunately I will not be returning here.

Nice shop not far from the airport. The food is typically Chinese all you can eat. Service is great and the location is really awesome. 2 people eat fully including drinks and a tip of 50 euros. You can't complain, we're there regularly

It's delicious, you can put it together yourself, for example wolf basch and monkfish. I enjoyed it, even the sushi is surprisingly good. Not a cheap home at 24 euros per person. at evening. Ambiance is fun, is in a former greenhouse. Lots of green.

There is a buffet in the evening. There is something for everyone. You can help yourself to pre-prepared dishes, or put together raw food and have it freshly prepared. You can choose different vegetables and types of meat as well as fish. It's not cheap, but you can eat as much as you want.

The restaurant definitely needs a thorough cleaning! Floor dirty, plates greasy with leftover food. Buffet selection is fine. But gastrointestinal problems after a short time. I won't go there again.

I've been hearing about this restaurant for years. It has been recommended to me several times by various people. Now we ate there from work (small team of 5 people) on a Thursday evening. There is free parking right in front of the restaurant. There were still plenty of spaces available when I arrived shortly before 6 p.m. The service is very good. We were greeted warmly and our drink order was taken quickly. We all ate from the buffet. Personally, I don't like buffets that much. The food is kept warm for a relatively long time and loses its taste and is no longer as crunchy and crunchy. Although it was busy and the food was freshly replenished, the spring rolls were soft. It is better to use the service and have vegetables, meat or fish freshly fried and brought to the table. You put the food raw on the plate. I chose pasta with vegetables because I am a vegetarian. The vegetables were nice and crunchy. However, it is grilled together on a large plate with the meat and fish. Not recommended if you are vegan or don't want to. I also think it's better when it's separate, but I've tolerated it. But that's exactly why and the somewhat soft food from the buffet is why we deducted a star. The ambience is awesome. Real trees grow in the restaurant with its own irrigation system. That has a special character.

A nice Chinese restaurant, apparently in original greenhouses, so it was quite fresh...we opted for the buffet, a large selection of prepared dishes, but also fresh meat, fresh fish (e.g. shark or monkfish) and fresh vegetables from... It was individually prepared by a chef... there was also soup, sushi and desserts... at the end there was a traditional fortune cookie... the service staff was friendly and very attentive...

Delicious food, great service, upper price range

My recent visit was extremely disappointing. The food was tasteless, lacking any appeal or flavor. The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful, contributing nothing to improve the experience. Inside, it was a sweltering 40°C, making it uncomfortable and almost unbearable to stay. To top it off, the place had a strong, unpleasant odor that added to the discomfort. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Location that has seen better days. Since it is a glass house, the roof should be cleaned regularly. Plates and cutlery partly dirty with leftover food. Once and not again. In my opinion there are better buffet Chinese places.

Saturday 6 p.m. and almost every table was occupied. 10/10 I skipped the Mongolian cooking, the chef was really busy and there were maybe 20 or more plates waiting to be fried. Speaks for the quality and the ingredients as well as the finished plates looked excellent. I'll be back, it was really good 👍

The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the lovely atmosphere and ambiance. It's worth it for that alone. In addition, there was excellent service from one of the employees. We ordered a menu for 2 people and we never had to wait long for the second course. The portion was really big and sufficient. The man who served us accompanied us to the ice cream bar and showed us everything. Really good and friendly service. We would like to come back :)

As if her previous disrespect wasn't enough, she came back and topped it all off. With a cold, judgmental look she explained to us that we would be forced to order something to drink - otherwise she would charge us 2 euros extra. It wasn't a request, but a blatant command that clearly underlined her disdain. Her tone was ice cold, almost threatening, as she gave us this absurd "choice." It was obvious that she wanted to corner us, make us feel completely powerless. Her eyes sparkled with mockery as she waited for our reaction, as if she took pleasure in bullying us. In that moment it became clear that she was never interested in service or hospitality. To them, we were just annoying troublemakers who could be ripped off and humiliated using any method imaginable. Her behavior was nothing less than a pathetic attempt to demonstrate her own power by forcing us to bend to her will.

We were here the first time or on the first day of our stay in Düsseldorf and were so excited that we went again on the second day. I can agree with all the positive previous reviews. That was the reason why we came here and of course we didn't regret it on the second day. Thank you
