Simple and typical interieur. Service was not really friendly. But food was really good except for pakchoi which was too soggy and boring.

The food was super tasty. The Peking soup is absolutely recommended. Then we had chicken with chestnuts, sweet and sour chicken and fried noodles with vegetables. Everything was really, really tasty and there were portions that were filling. The atmosphere is lovely and the owner is so welcoming. Absolutely recommended!!! We felt very comfortable. Thanks!

Must try this unassuming and simple place run by a cute aged couple, brought me the taste of the 'real' Chinese food - stir fried veggies, beef, fried rice, braised pork belly with mustard greens, etc., etc., etc., that one gets to eat in Asia. Went back to eat again in a few days.

Super friendly service, very tasty food, traditional hot and sour soup - good portions, good value for money, we can recommend it! The jasmine tea in particular was simply great. We had two specialties, it's definitely worth skipping Szechuan etc. and trying something new 👍

We can't understand the bad reviews at all. We were visiting Düsseldorf and ate at LIN twice within one day because the food was perfect and the service was super friendly and warm. For us the best Chinese restaurant in Germany. Price performance very cheap compared to Berlin (large portions). We look forward to our next visit to Düsseldorf and thank you for the great taste experience and your hospitality.

Let’s change the boss! It was completely different from what I had eaten before. The portion of the dish was surprisingly small, and the pork belly with pickled vegetables only had a few pieces of meat, and it was too hard to bite. The vegetables are not fresh, are they frozen? The taste is so-so, the price-performance ratio is too low, I won’t buy it again. . .

Currently my favorite Chinese restaurant in Düsseldorf. A good choice, authentic flavours. The price is relatively high, but for the quality it is worth it. It also offers an interesting lunch menu.

The older lady would do well not to serve guests, she doesn't have the talent for it, please stay away from paying guests. Another thing that really bothered me was that she very abruptly asked us to change tables so that she could give the table to someone else. For a moment I felt like a 5 year old being reprimanded by her mother. Since the food there is nothing special that you can't get at any other Chinese restaurant, I won't visit this place again. The forced mucus afterwards didn't make things any better.

The food here is very authentic. Has a decent menu of southern Chinese cuisine, Huaiyang cuisine, to be specific. So it could be a bit sweet. But also have some spicy dishes. The restaurant is clean and has good service. The servers are at least bilingual. Certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in town.

I ate very well, only you don’t have to be in a hurry… but you won’t be disappointed.

We were there with the family for my sister's birthday; she had made a reservation for the evening. First to the positive: The ambience was ok. Nothing special but if you like it, cozy. The food was generally quite tasty. The family was mostly happy with their choice (that's the most important thing). I ordered a “hot beef platter” and “water spinach” with my friend. (I'm not entirely sure if that's exactly what the dishes on the menu were called). We were a little disappointed because the taste could have been better. In terms of presentation, the plates were generally a little more unusual. It was served fresh on a hot pan/plate, meaning the dishes were piping hot and stayed warm for a long time. The portions were quite large. An additional €1 per person was charged for the rice, but you could order more at any time free of charge. The prices seem a bit steep at first, but are okay for the portion sizes. Now to the unpleasant part, which dampened the general mood and is the only reason why I will NOT eat there again. Unfortunately, due to the weather and the fact that DeutscheBahn is simply DeutscheBahn, the two of us were late. Just me and my friend, as everyone else was there by car. The family was informed early on and we told them to please just start without us as we weren't sure whether we would even make it to Düsseldorf! Despite our objections, they decided to wait and eat an appetizer first! When we arrived we were immediately treated unfriendly by the lady who took our orders at the table. My friend was rudely interrupted when we ordered. Several times until her speech ended with a “We should finally speed up, it would have been enough that everyone would have had to wait for us.” The same thing was repeated to me, after which my words were completely ignored, although I had simply politely asked for a recommendation since we hadn't even had time to look at the menu. (The family had only just finished the starters at the time and we had only been at the table for 2 minutes). The family was shocked, to say the least, and told us afterwards that they didn't know where this sudden unfriendliness came from, as they had been perfectly polite to everyone until a few seconds ago. I have worked in the catering industry myself and know that it can be stressful when a reservation is not honored (which was not the case here), but I would NEVER behave like that towards a guest in such a situation. If it hadn't been my sister's birthday and if it hadn't made her sad, we would have left.

Rarely seen a Chinese restaurant with such poor value for money. And I live in Munich... Portions were super small and didn't fill me up. 2 small bowls of rice for 7 people and billed accordingly. The photos on the menu cannot be trusted either. Gastro itself is quite messy, at these prices you would at least expect a better ambience. A pity

Really bad service, we were treated aggressively and were forced to order drinks, the woman had no patience and screamed at us for not understanding the menu. Told us to leave because they didn't want to wait more than 10mins to take our order.

The lady that works there was unprofessional and rude, very impatient. Every question we asked was answered with a bad face, we didn't feel welcomed since the beginning. She refused to let us in the toilette before ordering. Very bad experience, not coming back here ever again.

Für Hamburger Verhältnisse etwas enttäuscht 😞 Die Ente war eher eine halbe Portion und für Reis als Beilage hat man pro Portion 2€ berechnet! Geschmacklich ok doch im Preis Leistungs Verhältnis als mangelhaft zu bewerten!

독일음식에 질렸을때 단비같은 중식집... 사실 가격대가 좀 나가지만 여기 주변은 다 이러니 인정하고, 일단 정통 중식 이어서 너무 맛있었음. 독일 음식 양이 많아서 다른곳에서는 다 남겼는데, 여기는 싹싹 긁어먹음. 술한잔 했는데 진짜 기분좋게 먹음! 화교가 해서 그런지 중식은 찐이었음.

差的要命千万别去，刚点完菜就被气走了。没有点饮料老板娘开始阴阳怪气，跟我们说“不点饮料但是不能喝自己的饮料哈”，我们解释说没有带饮料，她说“我都看到了就在包里”，随即我朋友把她看到的那个瓶子拿出来是个空的250ml的可乐瓶，说的这些话非常不尊重顾客，就是对亚洲客人尤其是中国人非常不友好，没见过这么小心眼且小气且阴阳怪气的老板娘。餐厅里都是外国人，中国顾客很少，VERY BAD Service if you don't order any drinks. Don't come especially when you have an aisian face, the restaurant owner will treat you differently from other perople.

Essen 1A, wenn man denn alles bekommt. Auf die Nachfrage,was mit der Suppe wäre, bekamen wir folgende Antwort: "die hätte ich nur in meinem Kopf bestellt". Alle anderen Anwesenden hatten mein Kopfgespräch sogar mitbekommen... Ob Ambiente, Hundekörbchen und Retro-Charme gefällt,ist jedem selbst überlassen.

Ein Geheimtipp in Düsseldorf. Dieses Familienunternehmen ist einfach immer freundlich und hat immer Platz. Der Service ist mega toll, auf alle Wünsche gehen sie ein und sind immer freundlich. Auch den Preis fürs Essen kann man nichts sagen. Das Essen kommt steht's frisch aus der Küche und auch schnell.

Sehr schönes, kleines Lokal. Super freundliche Inhaberin. Essen sehr lecker, klar dauert ein bisschen bis es kommt, aber der Koch ist schon lange da und darin eigen, dafür schmeckt es köstlich. Vorsicht wen scharf da steht, für zart beseitete ist es dann auch wirklich scharf 😉 zumindest für die Frau war es das. Wir werden gern wieder kommen.

超级好吃！而且店员小姐姐和老板娘无敌nice😭😭今天因为赶车很晚才到杜塞，还有一分钟才关店的时候抱着侥幸心理进去问还能吃饭吗，结果小姐姐很爽快让我们进去吃了，还一直问我们够不够。狮子头和蚂蚁上树好好吃🤤下次肯定还会来的！

I gotta say, this is the best restaurant around these area. Crispy duck is highly recommended but all my colleague said positive things about what they ordered so its a great restaurant.

Simple eatery selling traditional Yangzhou Chinese food. Good grub for people missing typical Chinese food and this is coming from a Singaporean. Do pop by if you are around the area.

Do not go to this restaurant! Just can’t believe how bad I experienced in this place. We went there for lunch today. At the beginning, the owner as the waitress asked us what we want to drink. We said just water. Then we ordered 4 dishes. After 20 min, she told us that it was going to slow serving as they were too busy. After 1 hour we got the food. As she already explained, so we didn’t mind the waiting time. When we asked checking, she brought a handwriting note with the dishes name and the price in Germany and asked me whether I can pay cash. Usually we don’t looks at the bill when it is e-bill. since it is manual one, we asked her to go over with me one by one. There is an dish with the price $5 euro. I asked what it is. She said it was the water we drank . Immediately she said she made mistake on the price as the water we’ve got is 750ml. The price of 7.8euro! It is so expensive in a medium restaurant. I questioned why not told us before we order. She threw the menu to us and said you can check the price by yourself. Then urged me to pay the bill as she was very busy If she had a good attitude I might pay already. But she was very rude and impatient. It made me angry. So I argued with her. Then she threatened to call the police, forbid to come to her restaurant forever and tired to stop me speaking English! Later on she felt I wouldn’t compromise. Then she asked other person to talk with me. The new one had a good attitude and I had to leave at once for an appointment. I paid the bill and left. This restaurant should be closed permanently!

Ongelofelijk lekker gegeten hier! Authentiek Chinees eten. Heel malse kip in Spezial soße, kruidig maar mild, heel smakelijk, met milde, geurige gebakken rijst. Mijn man had gestoofd buikspek met bami. De wan tan soep vooraf was ook heerlijk, krachtige bouillon! Royale porties, 1 gerecht en portie rijst was teveel voor 1 persoon. Delen dus! We waren hier op woensdagavond, alle restaurants in de omgeving zaten tjokvol of waren erg lawaaierig. Dit restaurant was rustiger en sfeervoller. Aanrader als je van authentiek Aziatisch eten houdt.

Heerlijk eten! Echt een aanrader

Ein Juwel auf der Oststraße. Der Wasserspinat hat mir den Kopf verdreht. Gebratener Spinat der Hähnchen Aroma hat und buchstäblich nach Fleisch schmeckt. Bis heute denke ich über diese Täuschung meines Geschmacksinns nach.

Having a quiet evening away by myself on a business trip and stumbled on this little place. Really good food - pretty much the best Chinese meal I’ve had in a long time !

Waren abends zu Besuch, fast 40 min gewartet aufs Essen. Alle Speisen sind ohne Reis oder Nudeln, muss man alles extra bestellen zu sehr hohen Preisen, ein kleiner Teller Bratnudeln zu der schon 20 Euro kostenen Hauptspeise nochmals 3,99€ extra ist schon sehr doll, eine kleine Schale mit extra sauce kostet auch schon 2,50€. Ansonsten nettes Ambiente und geschmacklich ganz ok leider etwas viel Salz für meinen Geschmack. Aber sehr nettes und höfliches Personal!

Durch Zufall entdeckt und angenehm überrascht. Essen, Service und das Ambiente einfach super. Sollten wir wieder Düsseldorf besuchen, gehen wir auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin.

Ein „China-Restaurant“ wie man es aus den 90er vielleicht noch kennt. An den Speisen hat sich sicherlich kaum was geändert, alles solide und natürlich lecker aber es fehlte das Besondere. Speisekarte kommt mit Bildern, für Reis wird 1€/pP aufgeschlagen, Wartezeit etwas länger, da der Chef alleine kocht, dafür bekommt man hier am Samstag 19 Uhr ohne Reservierung noch einen freien Tisch

Tolles Ambiente, super nette Bedienung und vor allem verdammt leckeres essen. Selten erlebt; dass wirklich alles gestimmt hat.

I don’t even remember how we discovered this restaurant but that was such a good find! The waitress was very cute and friendly. There are a lot of meals and drinks to choose from, food was delicious, very big portions! Very chill and cozy vibe, I’d recommend this place if you like Asian cuisine!

清蒸鱼的汁味道很正，但鱼肉不是那么紧，扬州炒饭也很好吃，里面的腊肉真的很喜欢！可惜去的时候拌香干和肴肉都没有，稍稍有点点失望，但总体来说很不错

Heute erst zum zweiten Mal, aber ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal dort zu Mittag gegessen. Vorab gibt es je 4 köstliche Frühlingsrollen und danach dann die unterschiedlichsten Hauptgerichte. Alles frisch und appetitlich zubereitet und sehr lecker. Und der Service, ich vermute es ist die Chefin, ist vom allerfeinsten! Aufmerksam und den Gästen zugewandt, alles in allem ein Lokal zum Wohlfühlen!

Aufgrund der überwiegend guten Bewertungen hier bei TripAdvisor besuchten wir dieses Restaurant und wurden herb enttäuscht. Denn seit vielen Jahren schon meiden wir diese Art "China-Restaurants", bei denen die Gerichte mit Geschmacksverstärker oder/und Stärke zugeballert werden, bis alles irgendwie "chinesisch" und vor allem gleich schmeckt. Aber ich ärgere mich viel mehr über meine Naivität, den Bewertungen hier Glauben geschenkt zu haben. Kurz zusammengefasst: Auch in diesem Restaurant scheint es üblich zu sein den Gast, der das erste Mal reserviert, gleich neben dem Zugang zur Toilette zu platzieren. Zu den von uns bestellten Speisen (1x Suppe, in Ordnung; 1 x Hähnchen Chop Suey, 1 x Rind mit Gemüse "scharf") kann man nicht viel sagen, da es eben so schmeckte wie in jedem 2. China-Imbiss: Glibberfleisch (wer´s mag, ok), wobei das ein wenig scharfe Rind noch besser wegkam als das ziemlich charakterlose Hähnchengericht. Für anspruchslose Gaumen mag das "lecker" sein, ich aber vergebe hier nur 2 Punkte, damit Besucher, die hier einen Tipp für ein gutes und vor allem "authentisches" chinesisches Restaurant suchen, den guten Bewertungen nicht - wie ich - auf den Leim gehen. Da können auch die beiden netten Damen nichts dran ändern.

Also ich muss sagen meine Familie und ich gehen regelmäßig in dieses Restaurant, und wir sind immer wieder begeistert! Ein Familienbetrieb, wo der Mann noch traditionell kocht das findet man nicht mehr so oft. Wir sind immer wieder gerne da das Essen schmeckt gigantisch und die Bedienung ist immer freundlich.
