The hotpot restaurant Seasons is really cool! The atmosphere is super chill and modern, perfect for an evening with friends. The selection of fresh ingredients is huge - everything from delicious meat to vegetables. And the best part? It's halal and the waiters at the resteraunt will mix their own sauces for you if you get stuck. The service is extremely friendly and makes you feel comfortable. We check several times during the meal to see if everything is okay. The prices are also completely okay for the quality you get.

We ate hot pot at seasons for the first time this afternoon and I left as an absolute fan. The restaurant is large, the service is attentive and friendly. At the beginning we were told how to order and we also received some recommendations. We were allowed to choose two broths and chose kimchi and the red spicy one - both very tasty! The selection of vegetables, meat and mushrooms suited our taste. That's why I'm happy to come back and can highly recommend it!

Even though it was very full... Orders are placed via your own cell phone, which takes no effort; I personally like this very much... You get and mix the sauces yourself in the bowls provided, but you should know this with the HotPot. A pleasant atmosphere would be present if the noise level were not so high; but that's because of the loud conversations of the other guests.. Since this location is very busy, it is recommended to reserve early. And as I always say so beautifully... That's my feeling! So it's best to go there and try it out yourself 👍🏻 ...

We ate there with a larger group. A positive highlight is the exceptional all-you-can-eat offer, which we really liked. However, we had a few points of criticism that clouded our overall impression: • The cleanliness left a lot to be desired in our opinion. For example, in the men's toilet, vases were broken, scented candles were on the floor, and the soap was leaking. There was a complete lack of soap in the women's toilet and it wasn't clean. • In the dining room we also noticed that the tables were sticky, the wallpaper was damaged and some pictures were covered in cobwebs. Out of interest, we looked for information about the owner in the legal notice, but could not find any relevant information. We are not experts, but as far as we know, such information is required in Germany. The staff didn't seem very motivated to us, but they served us acceptably. In summary, it was a mixed experience for us. While the all-you-can-eat offer stood out positively, there were other points that we felt needed improvement.

The place was surprisingly beautifully designed and the ambience was extremely nice! The food was also very tasty and I would definitely recommend the kimchi broth. The opportunity to make your own sauces was also really good! The dessert selection was also very good and the cake was very tasty. A few days ago I arranged a meal with a larger group and consciously chose this restaurant because it offers halal hotpot. A friend had warned me in advance, but I wanted to make my own judgment. Unfortunately, both the negative reviews and his warning were confirmed - and I would have listened better. The so-called “head waiter,” who introduced himself as Namet, seemed to have neither interest in his job nor respect for his guests. His demeanor was characterized by such a cold arrogance that it spoiled the mood for all of us. When four people had to cancel at short notice, he thought it appropriate to comment on this with a derogatory attitude instead of dealing with the situation professionally. It was only after I suggested rearranging the seats that he was able to bring himself to reluctantly accept the situation. But instead of dealing with feedback or engaging in conversation at the end of the evening after payment, he responded to feedback in an almost aggressive manner. Instead of showing insight or offering a solution, he started literally arguing with me, which only made the situation worse. Such behavior from someone in a “managerial” position is simply unacceptable in a service company. The entire evening was accompanied by his distant, almost deliberately unfriendly attitude. Side dishes were carelessly slammed onto the table with the succinct request that we should distribute them ourselves. The service staff hardly seemed willing to respond to simple questions - neither in person nor via the QR code function that was provided. The food itself? Average, at best. If the service hadn't been so disastrous, it might have been overlooked. But the combination of unprofessional behavior and lack of quality made this evening a complete disappointment.

We ate there yesterday, unfortunately I can hardly say anything positive about our experience. The service was a complete disaster. One waitress was completely listless and uncommitted, the other simply slammed our glasses on the table and left, which makes you wonder how you can tell the difference between Cola and Cola Zero. The only exception was a very friendly lady with an orange headscarf. The food was okay, even if there wasn't a lot of choice. After pouring pure water for the fourth time, the broth tasted exactly the same (we didn't ask beforehand). The ambience was nicely decorated, but the door was constantly left open to ventilate, so we had to freeze.

This was our first time having hot pot. And probably the last. We had gotten the Tom Yum soup and another spicy soup. We found it a little bit overwhelming with their station in the back with a bunch of ingredients that you have to mix yourself with no guide or not much help from the staff. Even with their beef quality and lamb quality, it wasn’t really that good when we dunked them in both sauces. On top of that, all three of us did not really get full because they’re very thin slices of beef. ( i get that they have to cut thinley) Anyways, not 100% sure if it’s the restaurant’s fault however, given the price point and our experience, I will not be having hot pot again. Just go get a Steak or sushi and call it day aha

Been trying to make a reservation for today for 3 days. I sent a reservation request a total of 4 times, everything was free. Suddenly nothing was available and we didn't get a table. Even though there are two of us. You don't answer calls either. Very bad service. Too bad.

The store doesn't even deserve one star. Reserved a week in advance, drove an hour to eat there and then the waiter was completely overwhelmed, drinks were served from the discounter and then you were asked if you could come back in half an hour, as if the store would then be empty were. On top of that, another booking was messed up with a group of 6 and the next group also stood in the entrance with another 5 people who waited in the middle of the store because there was probably no space for them either. Strictly speaking, you would have to pay the parking fee from the parking garage as the smallest excuse, but customer service was given particular attention in advance. The fact that some of the waiters were wearing dirty clothes and they were fiddling around with gas cartridges completes the picture. Thank you for a shitty second Christmas Eve.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by loud Arabic music, which made the atmosphere seem rather unpleasant and strange. The ambience was very dark, almost gloomy, and it was difficult to feel comfortable. The waiters didn't seem friendly or professional - they spoke very quietly and incomprehensibly, so you felt like you weren't really being noticed. Her behavior was rather unfriendly, which only made the situation worse. The food was simply inedible. We felt that the quality of the ingredients and preparation left a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, at some point we noticed that the gas bottle was empty, which meant that our hot pot was no longer boiling properly - and we only discovered this ourselves. As if that wasn't enough, we were also served a cheap cola that was clearly from Lidl (a "Freeway Cola"), which is simply unacceptable in a restaurant of this type. And if the culinary disappointments weren't enough, there was also a very unpleasant moment when a disgusting customer nearby burped loudly and repeatedly, adding to the already unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant. Our experience was one of complete disappointment and real trauma. We certainly won't be coming back.

When you think '€26.80 pp for unlimited food and (soft) drinks, that sounds too good to be true' Well it is! This was horrible. I've never had such a disgusting meal. Tried different things in the hotpot but one was dirtier than the other. No, sorry, but I cannot recommend this place! The next day you are still in the toilet full time..

Overall it was good. The employees were very nice. The meat was fine. The kimchi broth was delicious. Unfortunately the other broth doesn't (a matter of taste). Of the side dishes, the gyozas were the best. One negative point was that we weren't shown what the process was like. And a suggestion for optimization: It would be great if you could distinguish and order between large and small portions when ordering. It's just stupid when you just want to try it and get so much straight away. For example, I didn't like the mushrooms at all. It's just a shame about the food.

This hotpot shop is a complete failure. The food was simply catastrophic. The lamb, which should have been a highlight, tasted disgusting - more like old cow than lamb. Absolutely inedible! The broth was also a disgrace: either completely tasteless or so over-seasoned that you couldn't even enjoy the rest of the ingredients. Everything seemed cheap and carelessly thrown together. The staff was another low point. Completely disinterested, disorganized and unable to fulfill even the simplest of requests. Long waiting times and sloppy answers were the order of the day here. For what was offered here, even 1 star is still too much. If you value good taste and reasonable service, you should definitely avoid this shop!

Unfortunately, our visit here was very disappointing and did not live up to our expectations. We came based on a friend's recommendation, but the experience was in no way satisfactory. The price for the hotpot is €26.90 per person, but it just wasn't value for money. There are no menus and ordering is only done via a smartphone, which you have to bring with you. Only one device is allowed per table, which makes ordering unnecessarily complicated. The idea of ​​an “all-you-can-eat” concept sounds interesting at first, but the implementation was unfortunately poor. About the process: Even before the broths were brought to our table, the first ingredients arrived - and they were frozen. This affected both meat and shrimp. We didn't expect this level of lack of freshness in a hotpot offering. We couldn't even test the vegetables because we had already decided to end the evening early. Another point is the lack of communication: plates or matching bowls are not brought to the table. You have to get tiny bowls of sauce yourself from the buffet, but no one explains it. Here too we would have liked more service. The drinks were also disappointing. My Sprite was uncarbonated and tasted watery, like a stale version from a fast food restaurant. Great hot spot for those who want to share dishes with friends! Unfortunately we were there in the summer and it was quite hot which made it impractical to eat all of the side dishes. The selection of soups is quite okay and should perhaps be revised again with the spiciness or the selection of side dishes. Furthermore, even if not possible, extractor hoods would be ideal so that the steam doesn't melt all the make-up or anything else on the face. Otherwise it was quite an eye-catcher, the meat was tasty (I'm missing a bit of a selection there too) and there were plenty of vegetables.

You can park very easily 200m around the corner in the Oststr. car park. We would love to come back!

Service was very nice and very quick, despite the fact that the store was completely full. The price including food and drinks is absolutely fine. The gyoza, which you could take from the buffet, was very good. The small cakes for dessert were also very tasty and it was very positive that you could have pre-packaged sundaes for dessert. As a small suggestion for improvement, we would suggest that you might ask next time if the broth is refilled with salt water, as it will have a little less taste afterwards.

We have been frequent customers here with the previous owner. We went back last week again and it seemed like the restaurant had been franchised/taken over. Just a summary: the quality was terrible! This is not hot-pot anymore! 1. Way less varieties of toppings in the menu but prices now are way higher (28 euro/p.p). Despite whatever you ordered with the tablet, only 5-6 standard toppings were served, the rest were not available. 2. Staff service was the worst, toppings were brought even before bringing us napkins, chopsticks and even our drinks!! So it melted and nothing to start the meal with. 3. The self-service table of napkins, chopsticks, etc. were removed and we had to ask for each single piece (soup spoons etc.). I asked for 4 pairs of chopsticks and got 4 pieces of chopsticks (2 pairs). 4. Everything was mixed with water: Soup bases were mixed with too much water, no taste of the soup anymore! Drinks were also mixed with water, no gas for the soft drinks. Never go there again! If you want a decent quality of hot pot, please do not go here....

The meat had a strange taste, the service was disappointing, and when we politely commented that we didn't like it, we were simply told we hadn't left the meat in the pot long enough. What's more, the shrimp were not cleaned - we had to remove the intestines ourselves. The taste of the food was definitely not worth the price. Conclusion: once and never again!

I was very disappointed to go there a couple days ago. It used to be a very Chinese style hot pot place, and I enjoyed going there a lot in the last years. Being back in the same place after a long break, it is just too surprised to find that the whole place changed completely , from taste, food and service and all. The good side is they improved the service: instead of ordering on paper, you now can simply scan the QR code and order digitally. They also replaced the old mobile stove, and have now very neatly built in stove, and new tables, of course. However, the most “surprising” bit is the food, since that s what a restaurant is about. Although it is still an “all you can eat”, the portion is now downsizes to so little small plate - with two little frozen squids being as one portion of order, and 2 leaves of a bakchoi being one order. Let alone, there are new rules to restrict to how often you can order - every 15 minutes. Nevertheless, the broth there is so plain, with the spicy soup being not spicy, but rather soya-saucy?!?! The options of the dips, which is the essence of hot pot, are only a very few… and btw , you don’t have “beer”as a drink option…. Well, all and all, despite the upgraded ordering system, as a used-to-be regular, it is sad to say that I just don’t see myself visiting again…

The location is too hot (no adequate air conditioning) and there is no extractor hood for the hobs. You sweat all over yourself while eating and unfortunately that's no fun, especially on hot days. Hence one star less.

Unfortunately, it was so incredibly warm in the restaurant that we couldn't really enjoy the food. The website advertises air conditioning, so we assumed it would be pleasant. Unfortunately, only a small part is air-conditioned. The food itself was delicious, the selection of different broths was also good. Otherwise there was a rather small selection. Unfortunately, the small buffet was also a bit disappointing, there was hardly any dessert and the fried things were always empty. Most of the waiters are very nice, but occasionally the ingredients were thrown onto the table very carelessly.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the taste. The vegetables we ordered for the hotpot were fresh, but the meat (beef) only tasted like fat and had an inedible consistency. The curry soup was so extremely spicy that it only tasted spicy and burned your stomach. It hasn't had a pleasant curry taste for a long time. Anything cooked in this soup could no longer be enjoyed due to its extreme spiciness. There was only a small and cold selection in the buffet, which wouldn't have been a bad thing if the hotpot had been tasty. The staff was friendly. We ended up paying around €57 for two people and had to leave a restaurant hungry for the first time in our lives. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the store.

I came to know about this resturant from socialmedia, we were there and I regret the moment I was there and I regret the money I have paid.... First of all we were three and all should wait for the other to order... Secondly the food was served without any spices which makes it disgusting... Thirdly there were very limited types of food varieties, totally differs from what is posted in social media. The food was not frish and the meet was gefrozen!! We were informed that we have only tow hours to complete ordering, cooking, and eating!!!! They said it is booked and they do not have availability eventhogh all tables awere empty!!! I think they are limiting the time sothat the person can not order more!! In one sentence.. I regret the money I paid !!!

The staff were so bad that we had made a reservation a week ago, and today we get a call saying they have to cancel our table. It doesn't work at all, instead of offering us a different time, they wanted to give us a different day. Waited so long for something like this. Bottomless impudence!

It's very dirty and it just gets under Cleaned according to customer instructions. Very unmotivated employees unfortunately... There isn't much to choose from...and the taste of the food has nothing to do with hotpot. We are very disappointed...

A really great restaurant. There were four of us there and we were able to try a lot. Our highlight is the veal and lamb and the delicious shrimp. We will definitely come again. Maybe a little tip, it would be great if tongs and extra large chopsticks were offered for the hotpot.

Reserved online several times. Last reservation was not rejected. Called 4 times and no one answered. Rejection upon arrival. So this is not justifiable with planning. Why are appointments offered online when none are available??? Why does the rejection only come hours later or not at all?

Also now it's halal so no pork option and alcohol option if you want those in a hotpot place. --------------------------------- I always go there for the hotpot with grill, the hotpot is basic but with the grill, it's amazing! With such price including so much food and drinks, nothing can beat it. **Too bad 1 person can't have the hotpot with grill, it'd be great if this is also offer for the people who like eating alone, I'd probably eat there everyday then :)

Unfortunately we were very rushed by the service. There was nothing in the buffet that is shown in the photos. If the service had gloves it would be really nice! A waitress burned her fingers trying to spin our pot.

The hotpot's taste isn't anything out of the ordinary, but that doesn't mean it's bad, it's absolutely rock solid. But I think the soups could be more intense. It's also nice for the Muslim siblings to hear that everything is Halal. The service is great, everyone is very friendly and, above all, everything happens quickly. I find absolutely nothing to complain about. The ambience is nice, but could do with a little more attention to detail, perhaps a few more decorations. The entrance area in particular is beautifully designed, this beauty and decoration could bring the ambience to a new level in all corners of the restaurant. Conclusion: Seasons is a nice restaurant that offers solid food and is definitely worth a visit. The price is great, for €26.80 per person you can eat and drink as much as you want. If you tweak the hotpot soups a bit, it can definitely make the restaurant even more worthwhile. I had fun eating in this restaurant and would in good conscience recommend going to Seasons to anyone who wants to eat halal hotpot in Düsseldorf.

I was in the restaurant for the first time a few months ago and was thrilled. Yesterday I was there again and I have to say that unfortunately things have changed for the worse. There was significantly less choice in the ingredients and there were no side dishes or desserts at the sauce bar. When you go to the hotpot restaurant for the first time, it makes a solid impression, but I have the comparison value from a few months ago and probably wouldn't go there again. Maybe we got it on the wrong day because we were there during the week, but then I don't understand why you have to pay the full price.

I recently visited this hotpot restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was super tasty and the selection was super fresh. The staff were not only extremely friendly, but also extremely charming and good-looking, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The design of the restaurant is a real eye-catcher. Can't wait to come back! Highly Recommended!

Absolutely not recommended. The dishes were served unappetizing, the beef was swimming in blood, the Chinese cabbage consisted more of stalks and the broth was far too spicy. The plates and bowls were all littered with “kitschen”. Only the service was great. Conclusion: once and never again.

Short conclusion: Incredibly good!! I would describe myself as a hotpot affine & experienced. Szechuan hotpot has been my favorite food for many years. I ate hotpot in 7 different restaurants (and even made it myself during lockdown). The restaurant experiences ranged from sometimes really bad, to loveless and unspectacular, to really good. And now in WW Seasons: Fantastic. At first I was skeptical about the many negative reviews here - many of which were apparently of Asian origin. Nevertheless, when I happened to walk past the shop, the smell and the food on the tables caught my attention - so I wanted to get my own opinion. A "first go in and look around" led to a positive impression - it smelled great, the sauce buffet, which was described as "unhygienic", looked completely okay, the plastic table mats were fine - so we decided to stay there and try it. Yes, well, if I were super picky, then of course there is a higher level of purity - but I would probably not be happy with this criterion in almost any buffet restaurant, in very few chip shops or snack bars. In any case, there was nothing negative that caught the eye - even a "secret" look into the kitchen looked perfect on the surface. But (as a former chef) I'm relatively relaxed as long as I don't come across anything really problematic ;-) The "courage" was rewarded - with a really fantastic tasting hotpot, the complexity and variety of flavors of which I have never experienced in any other hotpot shop (and not even in my own creation). It was actually like rediscovering hotpot food, I was so amazed by the taste. A perfectly balanced spiciness ratio of the Szechuan stock (Asian hot - not German... People ask for it^^), the just right presence of the Szechuan pepper, the freshness and quality of the ingredients, even the taste of such mundane things like the soy sauce, were perfectly balanced. And the other two brews we tried (tom yum goong and kimchi) were also absolutely tasty. Be that as it may, I think I can save the conclusion, because I think my enthusiasm for the taste quality can be clearly seen in my lines. The team is friendly, understands and speaks German well (not a given in authentic Asian shops) and really tries hard and quickly. The ambience is not upscale, but cozy, a bit lounge-like due to the slightly darkened atmosphere - quite pleasant. I definitely only have 5 stars left as a rating :-) MY RECOMMENDATION: Be sure to try the “spicy broth” (Sezchuan) - it simply brings a whole new world of taste. Ask for "a little paste" in the broth to start with - then even Europeans can tolerate the level of spiciness. You can always increase it, if in doubt, just ask for a little more Sezchuan spice paste, which you can then dissolve in your brew. Finally: If you need tips on the sauces (the ingredients cooked in the broth are then dipped into them): >> Soy-sesame sauce: - soy sauce (bottle) - Salt - Fresh garlic - Coriander (alternatively spring onion) - Sesame oil (bottle) >>Peanut sauce: - soy sauce (bottle) - Sesame oil (bottle) - Salt - Peanut paste - Coriander/spring onion - fresh chopped garlic >> Fermented garlic sauce - Oyster sauce (bottled) - chopped garlic - Sesame oil - Red fermented tofu sauce (in the containers) - Coriander or green onions NO salt - the red tofu sauce and "salty hoi sin" are salty enough. This sauce can also be easily modified with 1-2 spoonfuls of sugar and a little vinegar - then results in a sweet and sour direction which (if I want to compare it) is a little like turnip herb jam or something like that. Really interesting because of the fermentation .

I wouldn't go there again. Hot pot and BBQ cost €28.80. You shouldn't actually call it a barbecue. The dishes are not grilled and are all served with the same sour sauce. Hot Pot is unbeatable for the price. However, I have never felt the savings strategy so strongly. The meat is almost entirely fat and everything else comes to the table frozen. Drinks are included in the price, but the selection is minimal. The service staff is quick and attentive. However, most of them don't seem to have an Asian connection. You can also see this in the selection of dishes. Everything in the toilets is so rusty that it's almost falling out of the wall. A regulator should really take a look there.

I've been there a few times recently. The style is new, things are packed separately, and you can order with QR codes. There's no shortage of things, and there's also ice cream! ! ! (Super delicious!!!) The girly and rude waiter from two years ago is no longer here. All the service staff and the boss lady are very nice! This price includes soft drinks and beer, which is the best value for money! ! !

The hot pot is delicious. The buffet price is 24 euros, which is not expensive. It’s a pity that they don’t sell barbecue anymore.

Unfortunately, the food gradually deteriorates and the price-performance ratio is no longer right. You can only order with a cell phone, even though there were 6 of us there, so you simply have no overview of what you can and would like to order. This definitely needs improvement! The service also leaves a lot to be desired... you have to keep telling the waiters so that what you ordered is brought to the table, so all in all the dinner was simply disappointing.

The amount of drinks provided is quite large, and the hot pot is average.

it's the best place if you want to have unlimited food and beer for 24 eur. i have been there twice and am planning to go soon again

All-you-can-eat hotpot style food. We always enjoy coming here. Food is very tasty and for this price you can't complain. Especially since drinks are included. Clean local and nice ambience, but the music could be a little quieter. Very friendly staff. ps. We would have been happy with a little more vegetarian selection.
