The food was delicious and the price was absolutely right for the buffet. Personally, some of the meat was too dark and too fatty for me. Unfortunately, the children's menu with the chicken nuggets was small, so even a child can hardly get enough. I think that's a shame, especially considering the fact that you could have had the all-you-can-eat buffet for just €1 more for children. Unfortunately, points are deducted for the presentation of the buffet and the service. First of all, it wasn't clear whether it was self-service or not. This is obviously handled differently. Food and drinks are brought, you have to pay at the counter. However, we sat in the not-so-crowded store for a long time and no one pointed it out to us. Even at the beginning we were hardly noticed. When we wanted to order we were told either everyone would take the buffet or no one would. I understand the fact that it's otherwise difficult to control who actually eats from the buffet and who doesn't, but I still don't think it's okay and I've never heard of something like that before. You also only get one plate. For example, if it's full of pepperoni sticks and empty meat skewers, you still have to carry them around with you all the time. I also find it unfortunate that the food on display is not labeled, especially if you don't like certain things and take them out of ignorance and then leave them there. Another no-go for me was that, apart from the cevapcici, all the dishes were barely at room temperature. It's too cold and unfortunately doesn't taste good. The shop is nicely decorated, but seems a bit empty and dreary. The toilets, as so often, are unfortunately absolutely unkempt and disgusting.

We were there with the family. The meat dishes were very tasty. Rollo was ok too, the only thing missing was the sharpness. Pizza didn't taste that good, so a ready-made pizza from the chest tastes better. The cheeseburger took a long time to arrive, and we had already finished eating it for a long time. And then it came without fries, then we waited another 5 minutes for fries... they were then brought straight away cold... the mayonnaise didn't come at all... well, it's a shame... the service is totally overwhelmed, service Unfortunately it's still a bit bad... but they are friendly... We ate there with Schlemmer Block 2025. Before ordering, we pointed out that we had and wanted to use the Schlemmer Block. When the waiter asked the owner directly, he confirmed this. After a long wait we got our drinks, but an aperitif was missing. This was brought upon request. The food was okay, although not particularly good, but nothing to complain about either. Quantity instead of class. At the checkout we wanted to pay with the 2:1 Schlemmer block. The cheaper dish would then be free. However, we were told by the owner at the checkout that the Schlemmerbock was not valid for a grilled plate and that we would have to pay the full amount. After a long time back and forth, the owner gave us a discount of only 10 euros instead of 25 euros. There was also one too many aperitifs on the bill. This was pointed out and the 2 euros were deducted. If we hadn't checked the bill, we would have lost 2 euros in addition to the 15 euros. Overall a very negative impression. When ordering we should have been told clearly which dishes were not payable with the 2:1 gourmet block. Overall very disappointing - shame about the money lost.

So I'll say what many people don't do: The food based on breakfast during the week is all u can eat for €10. There is no better price in Bremen. On the weekend at 15€ and you're still very, very cheap. The food is upper midfield. The price makes the difference, so you can hardly complain about it while having breakfast.

Bad reviews are deleted, that says a lot. So here it is again: Food is delivered cold, drinks are not. Instead of regular beer, alcohol-free is delivered.

But we have never experienced so much insolence and impudence from the owner towards a customer. I can't put it into words, I'm still in shock. Went to this restaurant with my girlfriend on a nice weekend night, saw the advert for the restaurant and was interested in lamb and grilled meats so I told the waiter I wanted menu #57 which included a variety of grilled meats but an hour Finally I received a plate of vegetables, which was weird! When I asked the waiter if this was my set number 57, her excuse was that I showed her a photo, which I didn't. I asked her where the mutton and chicken were in the set meal and she said she would give it to me later. After about ten minutes, all I got was lamb. I asked her what the difference was between my current meal and menu #57. The waiter said there was still a lack of chicken, and I had the option of giving up on the food in front of me and continuing to wait for the new menu #57. But by then my girlfriend's food was already cold and I didn't want to waste the food in front of me so I said I would just refill it. I thought I cared enough about the waiters to give in and accept their mistake, but I ended up being asked to pay for all the wrong food and it was 10 euros more expensive than the set menu number 57 that I originally chose. I explained the situation to the front desk but was not understood. In the end, I had no choice but to pay for the waiter's mistake and received no understanding from the restaurant.

Went there today with a large group for the breakfast buffet and it was just bad. The vegetables were bathed in fat and everything was cold, simply inedible. Despite the buffet, the cappuccino would be charged at €3.20 instead of €1 as stated, unfortunately we didn't notice until too late. Service and friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. We found ourselves in Bremen for a week last summer and this summer. We tried this place at the beginning of our last trip and ended up eating here most evenings. When we returned this summer, this was our first stop and again it did not disappoint!! Their food is delicious. Their lamb is first rate. Excellent cevapcicis and fresh hot lepinja bread. Were there yesterday for the first and last time. We were wondering why we were the ONLY ones there on a Saturday at 8 p.m. Cold drinks were served warm - at 31°C outside. After we asked for ice cubes, the waitress excused herself with "The machine isn't ready yet" - instead of pointing this out in advance. It went on like this the whole evening. Some drinks on the menu were “sold out”. The freshly squeezed lemonade listed under cold drinks is only served for breakfast. The bread was not yet fully baked (after we asked about it ourselves), etc. For the price, the portions are small (chicken skewer & mixed grill plate). I enjoyed it. Not my husband. All sauces, bread and mayo were forgotten - it was only added after we pointed it out. After we paid, the table was cleared even though not everyone was ready. The service was nice, the constant talking and the organization on a SATURDAY EVENING is just underground. A relaxed dinner is definitely not possible here.

The wording Balkan Grill should not be taken literally in the restaurant. It's a kebab shop with a somewhat upscale atmosphere. Drove by spontaneously, there were still enough seats available for a Friday evening. The waitress was very attentive and drinks were brought quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. The food was fresh and tasty, the meat could have been a little hotter. Rice was very tasty, fries had a good consistency. Restaurant and toilets (are in the basement!) were very clean.

Update. No more regulars!!! Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet has steadily deteriorated and despite all the bad reviews, we still went there in the hope that it would get better. That wasn't the case. Apart from the Turkish service staff and the Turkish music in the BALKAN Restaurant, the food is miserable. The bread is hard, all the hot things are cold, etc. The selection of basics has shrunk significantly today, for example, there weren't even cucumbers. When you come in it smells a bit unpleasant and there are a lot of flies flying around. I refrain from uploading pictures.

I hope Balkan is just a joke. Nothing here has anything to do with the Balkans - neither the food nor the decorations nor the sound system. Fantasy priced Anatolian grill would be more appropriate but certainly not as lucrative.

We had dinner there on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. There was no wine at all and only Beck's beer. When ordering we were told that we couldn't order grilled vegetables, only vegetable plates (the same thing only bigger and cost more). But they “forgot” to cancel it on the invoice! Mega funny load! I wouldn't recommend it! 2nd star only because the waiter was extremely overwhelmed and apologized for that, but he did his best and Cevapcici would be ok.

I also found the restaurant's policy regarding leftover food inappropriate. They talked about hygiene, but didn't have forks for the bread baskets. There was one, but it was on the table that customers touched with their hands. In general I found the staff very unfriendly. If possible I would give zero stars. Interior feels typical of the country, no tablecloth, no set, no menagerie. But there are nice, large windows with a chance to see the poser drug barons from the shisha steam cave next door. Beck's draft was sold out, but the Croatian brew was a viable alternative. Chicken kebab a bit dry, no other spices apart from salt. Salad ok Fresh except for the red cabbage salad, the vinegar bottle must have slipped. Indefinable light sauce so-so, tzatziki but delicious. Djuwetschreis 0815. I took the unnecessarily served pita bread with me, otherwise it would have ended up in organic waste. Service was very nice and on the ball. Another positive: open grill kitchen, everything freshly grilled, clean. Prices reasonable. You can certainly do it.
