We came to eat a meal of charcoal-grilled lamb. Upon arrival, we asked if the lamb was fresh and ready to serve, and this was confirmed. However, we were then served dishes with a rancid, unpleasant taste—as if they had been prepared a week in advance. How can the meat be fresh when the lamb is still completely intact on the grill and nothing has obviously been trimmed? In short: They claim the food is fresh, but in reality, old meat is simply being reheated in the microwave. When I asked how this was possible, the cashier remained silent and didn't even apologize. Furthermore, the owner reacted sarcastically to our feedback instead of improving the service—as if he couldn't care less about customer satisfaction.

It was a flavorless wrap. I'm sorry to give it a low rating, but it's the truth.

Delivery is canceled every other time. You wait and you're hungry, and then after 30-50 minutes you get the cancellation. I've had this happen four times now. Getting a refund via PayPal takes several days. It's really annoying. It doesn't help that the cevapcici taste good.

I was there for the breakfast buffet, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and warm and tasted really good. The selection was large and varied, so there was something for everyone. The price/performance ratio was definitely excellent. We were very satisfied and felt comfortable. Next time, we definitely want to try the evening buffet as well.

Since I didn't have any cash on me, I asked before ordering if I could pay by card. When I went to pay, the card machine suddenly broke. I was totally lost. I had to run to the nearest bank in the rain. The kebab plate was delicious, but unfortunately, I was completely wet, and you have a hard time apologizing. You can't make this up. Next time, try a different kebab shop.

I came to this place specifically for a steak and instantly regretted it! They refused to take card payment, claiming that their ‘card payment limit’ for the day had run out. What kind of excuse is that? They only accept cash! The place was empty, yet the service was awful. Never setting foot here again!

The food was okay except for the sausage, which I didn't like, but that could be a matter of taste. The ayran took some getting used to; I'd never tasted it before. It had a strange taste and wasn't tasty, and it wasn't the typical ayran you'd expect from Turkish restaurants, for example, or from the kind you make yourself with yogurt, water, and salt. But maybe that's how it is with the Balkans, I don't know. The lamb was very good and I would recommend it. The service was very friendly, nice, and attentive. Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted, and no receipts or till slips are given.

Now it turns out that the store had to close after a food inspectorate inspection due to serious hygiene deficiencies. Salmon that had been expired for three weeks was left unrefrigerated in the kitchen. Instead of a blender, a drill was used. Guys, I can only give one recommendation: Don't go there!

Super delicious, super friendly, great value for money. Had a grilled platter for two people and a delicious cake for dessert! We're already looking forward to the next time.

I had a reservation! The staff is incredibly hospitable and accommodating! The atmosphere is very pleasantly warm, and you feel very comfortable. The food was a 10 out of 10. We had the lamb fillet, the salad was very fresh, and the fries were delicious. We also had a grilled platter. Dessert was on the house. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I was there today, having traveled about 230km. The atmosphere was nice, I must say, but the waiters don't speak German. The raw cevapcici weren't good; they should have been darker on all sides. The fries for €4.80 were quite small. I was very impressed, but I really regret it, as the 460km drive just wasn't worth it. I informed the manager, but he didn't bother. Instead, he offered me a tiramisu as an apology, because I ended up paying as I left, which I realized late. See my picture below; everything looks great, but zoom in closer, so I think everyone will recognize it. The bread was also pre-made, not homemade, and not soaked in oil. What a shame.

When ordering, my wife had two questions. Neither could be answered immediately. It must have been the waitress's first day. The veal liver was sliced ​​very thickly. Yesterday my family and I went to this restaurant for the first time and had lunch there - it was a buffet. We had no idea what to expect beforehand, but luckily there was a very friendly staff member who helped us choose the food. She took her time and explained everything very nicely. What I particularly liked: The restaurant has no problem with children or some noise. Unfortunately, my little daughter threw up, but the staff was incredibly nice and helped me immediately. The food was delicious and fresh, and drinks were brought to the table promptly. I can definitely recommend the restaurant!

Unfortunately not recommended! We drove 70 km to enjoy Iftar food, we ordered a plate for 3 people and a plate was brought to us. When we asked whether this was supposed to be the platter for 3 people and cost 70 euros, we were treated in a really unfriendly way by the staff. After several questions and complaints, we were brought a plate with some meat. We wouldn't go there again. I can understand that it is difficult to get good staff, but you can still be friendly and fair to customers.

I have never been so disappointed with a shop like this, I have now given them the chance 3 times but honestly the behavior, the service and the service workers are not properly integrated and every time at the checkout the bill is incorrectly the ordered comes after 1 hour or burnt and another 1 hour wait I have no idea how they imagine gastronomy but you eat what you eat and I would like to pay something for it if I pay so much money! For people who want to have breakfast or dinner, have a lot of patience and calculate what you order yourself and add 5-10€ more each time!

Replacement food was offered and we ordered pizza that couldn't be served then ordered a roll and it took a while. Then we were supposed to pack the rest ourselves but then the boss did it anyway. On the second visit I wanted to order 2 rollos for lunch then it was said from 5 p.m. but it was lunchtime so I told the waiter what I thought and I could get it from 12 p.m. but only when the boss was there. He came at 12.15 p.m. and snapped at me for being too loud, which the unfriendly waitress in the kitchen didn't truthfully tell the boss over the phone. Then he turned me away from the restaurant. The food may be okay, but if you order something from them via Lieferando, wait 1.5 hours and get the confirmation and then get a cancellation and have already paid, that's almost -5 stars in customer satisfaction. All in all, we were full and it was tasty and authentic for Balkan connoisseurs. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service. Continued success!

The selection of types of meat is large, the quality is impressive and the price-performance ratio is great. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is professional and super friendly. I also always notice the cleanliness as positive. Today I was there for Iftar - the restaurant was very busy, but everything still worked well. It shows how popular the store is! The only point of criticism: The restaurant serves alcohol even though the food is halal. That doesn't really fit the concept for me. If this were omitted, it would really be perfect! Nevertheless, I can absolutely recommend the Balkan Grill and would be happy to come back.

But unfortunately on my last visits I noticed that something had changed. It seemed as if there weren't enough staff or as if those who were there weren't paying close attention to when things were running low. Bread, napkins and food often ran out quickly and were not refilled in time. In the end there was nothing left at all. I wasn't the only one who felt that way - many guests around me made similar comments. That's a real shame, because your breakfast has always been outstanding, and I actually think your business is great. I hope that you might pay a little more attention to it so that the breakfast experience remains as I best remember it.

You go to a Balkan Grill because you miss the food from your home country, but for something like that you're better off going to the Dönermann and you'll save money.

Hot dishes are unfortunately cold, no service staff on site only after a long search. Drinks now pay extra. 1 tea is included. Breakfast buffet price per week is 10 euros with 1 tea, each tea is extra 1 euro. It's cheap but I personally prefer to pay a little more and have better quality. It's a shame.

Breakfast buffet as offered online not for 10 euros per person but for 15 euros. Drinks are also not included as described online. When asked, they were told that this offer no longer existed. No matter how dirty the plate was, you only got one. An extra plate would have cost two euros. Once and never again. The food was simple. Edit after owner's reply: The staff was definitely not friendly or accommodating to us. Correction: There were no new plates at the normal breakfast. Plates for a cake you brought with you should cost two euros.

I'll just start with arriving, you're neither greeted nor have an overview of whether a table for X people is still free. First you stand stupidly in the entrance and look around for a place. After paying you get a plate and a bread bowl (fun fact: it can happen that there is simply no bread at all). Then you can top your plate with packaged cheese, fried vegetables from the penny and egg. There is absolutely nothing authentic to choose from that justifies the name “Balkan Grill”. Plus everything was cold. Tea now costs extra. After about 25 minutes of staying, the bread came in through the main entrance, I guess it was simply bought from the nearest local bakery. An absolute disgrace. Not recommended.
