Klaus Kebab in Bremen

Normally, I'm the last person to write a bad review, but today was probably the last time I'll eat here. The bowl is nothing like the old one. The halloumi was cold, and half the ingredients were missing. I ordered extra pepperoni, but they didn't have any—unfortunately, this isn't the first time; it happens all the time. Kidney beans and chickpeas were also missing. Sadly, this is the last time I'll get food here.

Best halloumi döner with lots of vegetables in the Neustadt district. Always tastes fresh and delicious! Friendly people too.

It's not good at all, I would never recommend it.

The food was fantastic, served by a super nice young lady. I ordered two chicken doner kebabs, which were incredibly delicious. The chicken was beautifully crispy, the sauces were evenly distributed, and there was a fresh salad. Incidentally, the lady had my order ready before I even paid, hahaha – amazing speed!

A small shop with indoor and outdoor seating. You can pay in cash at the counter, and recently they've added an ordering terminal that accepts card payments. It would be great if the seitan were offered crispy in the future. The staff is also very friendly. Deliveries are handled by Wolt. 20 euros per person without a drink is quite expensive.

It used to be my favorite veggie döner in Bremen, but since they stopped including the fried vegetables and the prices kept rising, that's unfortunately changed. Plus, the seitan wasn't crispy the last few times.

The food was always excellent. Thanks to Klaus Kebab, I discovered vegetable doner kebab – it's fantastic! Seating is limited. The staff were always friendly, and card payments were no problem.

It was great until a few weeks ago – unfortunately, compared to before, there are no more fried/deep-fried vegetables in the doner kebabs. 😔 For me, this was THE distinguishing feature of Klaus Kebab, and now without it, the doner kebabs have essentially lost their good soul -> unfortunately, they have disappointed and lost me as a customer. I hope that you will return to your roots someday and I can look forward to a doner kebab from you again :)

Hey everyone! :) I'm so glad I happened to be in the area again today, because I took the opportunity to grab a doner kebab at Klaus Kebab :) They've recently added steak doner to their menu... so I tried it right away and was absolutely blown away! 😳 I was shocked at how good a doner kebab can taste! The steak was perfectly seasoned, not overpowering, and the flavor of the meat was definitely the star. For me, it offers the best value for money and is definitely number one in Bremen and the surrounding area, ahead of Siggys, Lava Grill, Akdeniz, and Emin Usta. A clear 9.6/10, absolutely recommended! I hope it stays that way.

Overpriced, slow, uncomfortable

One star deducted because the online store stated it was open until midnight, but by 9:45 PM there was no more meat. Apart from that, the kebabs are always delicious, and the prices are great.

Food is great, service and atmosphere is moderate. Vegan option are there.

Unfortunately, the grilled vegetables are no longer available. So, apart from the delicious sauces, Klaus Kebab isn't much different from other kebab shops.

I used to be super satisfied. But recently: Card payments are no longer accepted. They've cut back on ingredients (the bowl now consists mostly of rice). The service isn't as friendly, and they don't serve fried vegetables anymore (at least not today). And it costs €11.90-12.90 for a bowl. I hope that changes; it used to be great!

Best vegetarian/vegan kebab in Bremen!!! The price-performance ratio is also top-notch! The Klaus is really big, incredibly filling, and a real treat. The bowl comes in two sizes and is filled with a variety of fillings. Delicious homemade sauces! Definitely a must-try :) Edit: Unfortunately, the vegetable kebab, or rather the fried vegetables in the kebab, is no longer available. That's a real shame, as for me, it was one of the main ingredients of the kebab. Nevertheless, the price remains the same... Too bad, hence the two-star deduction.

Unfortunately, they're skimping on quality here too, while simultaneously charging higher prices. I've eaten and ordered here often and enjoyed it, so far. Order today: No grilled vegetables, since when has Klaus been so dry and toasted to death? Seitan was cold, hardly any cabbage, just onions and lettuce, and only one of the two sauces on it. No thanks. Here, too, profit is apparently the priority these days, not quality. A real shame.

Wonderful! Small, cramped, warm, extremely friendly, and very tasty. But why put mayo in a plastic bag? They don't do that anymore. I'll be back anyway.

Today, the two of us wanted to eat at your place. However, we were treated very rudely at the checkout. The employee didn't take my friend's order, but simply said, "Wait, stop, her first," even though we wanted to order together. Even then, I had the feeling things might be problematic. Later, I had to point out to her several times that she had made a mistake on the bill. Finally, she handed me the money with a clearly annoyed and rude attitude. My colleague ate and said that only the falafel was okay. But the service was unfortunately very aggressive and unpleasant. This experience unfortunately spoiled our appetites.

Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review. I can't say anything at all about the food. It's amazing! But only when it's complete. We've ordered from there several times. Sometimes half of the food was forgotten in entire dishes. Ingredients you paid extra for weren't included. And drinks are almost always forgotten. I can recommend Klaus Kebab, but only for immediate pick-up, not delivery. Fortunately, Wolt's customer service is extremely fast, and they immediately refund everything (in the form of credits) when you report it. Perhaps you should also rethink your ordering page. It's super complicated and difficult to understand...we suspect it's also for those who receive their orders at that moment 😅 For example, you can choose from seven ingredients that you don't want in your kebab. So if I want to order a kebab with everything but don't want onions, I select "without onions." Sometimes, however, everything is completely wrong.

Best kebab in Germany, crazy. It was my first vegetarian kebab and it was an unforgettable experience. The seitan and curry sauce are top notch!! They also have meat options and the toppings are fresh and delicious. Say crazy!!

The vegan seitan kebab was delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of vegan garlic sauce, but I'll definitely come back to try it. I highly recommend this place!

One of the best doner kebabs in Bremen. A well-filled doner kebab, beautifully served with feta cheese, and the spicy sauce is actually hot ;) The bread is nice and crispy and doesn't fall apart. The price is justified given the large portion and, of course, the good quality.

A super delicious halloumi sandwich with plenty of fresh, crisp lettuce. It smelled deliciously of lime. I've never had such a fresh taste from anything else before. I was very satisfied, and the price was perfectly reasonable, too.

The food was top-notch and super tasty, full marks for that. However, if I write "plastic-free" in big letters on the wall and then have plastic cutlery, that doesn't add up for me, hence one star deducted.

"Der Claus" is amazing and huge for one person. One actually has to be very careful to finish it without get clothes stained or face covered in delicious souce). Anyway its worth

I can only recommend the Klaus Kebab! The chicken kebab was really delicious – juicy, well seasoned and fresh. The store is very centrally located so you can easily reach it. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating, which makes the visit even more pleasant. Overall, a great place for a quick, tasty kebab! 🥙

Food quality top. But a pretty snippy young lady at the counter who obviously doesn't feel like it, for the sauces you are dryly referred to step 3. She couldn't say anything about the taste of each one and unfortunately other vegetables ended up in the kebab than what was ordered. Too bad.

Very tasty vegan and vegetarian doner kebabs. Especially with the vegetables, simply delicious. We had the garlic and date curry sauce, which were also great. The fries were very salty, not everyone's cup of tea, but they were hot and crispy ☺️

We bought 2 vegetable kebabs with seitan there to take away. We found the seitan meat to be very dry and tasteless (we have eaten very well-prepared seitan doner, but in our experience this was not the case here). The kebab couldn't keep up with the taste. The kebab pita was cut open so wide that when the aluminum foil was removed, half of the inside of the kebab was left in the foil as a salad. There was too much sauce on the kebab, which is why the bread was soggy. We wouldn't go here again for a kebab meal No recommendation.

I'm a big fan of the Seitan kebab, halloumi and falafel are also very good. Unlike some haters, I think the amount of vegetables is appropriate, it creates a well-rounded product. The sauces could sometimes be a little better distributed in the kebab, but otherwise I'm very happy with everything.

The vegan offer is great. Delicious Seitan or Falafel Doner with a variety of sauces to choose from. Staff is always super friendly. Small point of criticism - the music in the store is sometimes a bit loud. It's hard to have a conversation when you eat there.

I absolutely cannot understand the hype surrounding the store. Just because the dishes are served in newspaper and a wooden fork is handed out, should 5 stars be awarded based on sustainability? It would be better to pay more attention to cleanliness. Going to the toilet in the basement is like going to a horror film! In terms of taste, the food borders on bodily harm!

I am Klaus' biggest fan. I order every day and recently they gave me two drinks. All products are 100% fresh and of the best premium quality. Lived in Leipzig and Berlin for a long time and always had lovely vegan kebabs. There is no vegan kebab in Bremen. And now FINALLY THE BEST KLAUS. Seitan also deluxe I give it 9.7 out of 10 points. My only wish is that the seitan was a little crispier in some places, otherwise perfect!!!! Thank you Klaus, I love you for ever, your Feldstraße addicted orderer PEACE

Doner kebab tastes good, is fresh, but massively too spicy. So the kebab is edible if you drink a liter of milk with it. For people who don't eat spicy food that often or can't tolerate it, it's better not to eat kebab. Like any other Ottoman snack bar, I ordered “A kebab with everything”. I didn't know that "everything" was so spicy...

We don't have anything as great and as delicious. We had the Seitan Doner twice. Bremen is always worth a trip for vegans. Here in Rhineland-Palatinate you won't find anything like that at all. So we definitely have to come to Bremen again or more often to see the good food, the city and, of course, the nice people here.

Extensive vegan selection and great sauces. Date curry was super tasty and the hot sauce was really spicy too. That's the way it has to be. Some people may be bothered by the ratio of seitan to vegetables, but I particularly liked the generous amount of seitan ;-) Definitely a recommendation...

I ate the Saitandöner. Way too much Saitan. My husband celebrated it - I didn't. I missed the vegetables, the quantity of which was manageable. The date curry sauce was very tasty.

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Grilled courgette in the salad and a *real* chilli sauce. Authenticity matters and only these guys can cook food like that...;)

This is the only snack bar that serves vegan kebabs in Bremen, if I'm not wrong. The portion is good, but I miss the traditional kebab sauces that change the taste of the seitan kebab so that it tastes almost like the original. In addition, there are often only one or two sauces to choose from, which I find strange because sauces are the be-all and end-all for meat substitutes.

Probably the best kebab I’ve ever had. Absolutely massive and so much variety in salad and options. Service was great and we were even allowed to bring our dogs in while we waited 😊

As a regular customer, I have to say that the quality varies greatly. I just bought a vegetable kebab that is basically just seitan. Hardly any sauce, hardly any vegetables or salad. What a shame!

The best vegan kebab in all of Bremen. A really extremely good and large selection of vegetables, sauces and meat alternatives. Although alternatives is actually the wrong word. Seitan can definitely compete with the best kebab meat. In terms of atmosphere, it is and remains a kebab shop, but it does it well. Overall very satisfied!

Food really delicious. Unfortunately, the portions and the taste are always different depending on who is making it. The older woman who has recently started working there makes much smaller portions and generally forgets the lemon juice. That's a shame. Otherwise 5 stars

So the bread and the meat tasted very good to me, but by grilled vegetables I mean that the vegetables are grilled and not fried. Fatty minus point heart attack, I can also get it differently... the humus sauce was also relatively neutral in taste the ones at Tandour are a quarter of a million times better... So unfortunately I won't be coming back for this distance of around 6 km!

There was a kebab with seitan. Overall, the Seitan could be fried a little crispier, but I'm happy about a meat substitute that goes beyond falafel. Fresh ingredients, nice staff. I think the price is justified. Clear recommendation!

Sehr ordentlicher Döner, in modernem Ambiente. Alles sieht sehr ordentlich, frisch und sauber aus. Der Döner hat einen stolzen Preis, ist aber auch echt groß. Zu groß in meinen Augen. Man muss erst einiges mit der Gabel essen, ständig fällt etwas heraus. Was soll sowas? Warum nicht 2 Euro weniger und dafür das Brot so befüllen, dass man das Teil auch essen kann?

Sehr leckerer Döner . Man merkt sofort die frische und liebe. Ein Punkt Abzug dafür das es kein Kalbfleisch gibt ,aber dennoch sehr lecker und daher volle fünf Sterne .

Also die Scharfe Soße sehr komisch dort, und Hygiene könnte besser sein.

Einfach nur WOW!!! Der beste Kebab den ich je gegessen habe. Ferit hat mich super beraten und ist ein sehr feiner Kerl. Komme ab jetzt jede Mittagspause.
