We were a group of five for Iftar at this restaurant and had made a reservation in advance. Unfortunately, the entire experience was very disappointing. Despite our reservation, we had to wait a very long time for our food to be served. Especially at Iftar, when many guests come to break their fast, the restaurant should be better organized. The food itself was also disappointing. Both the Adana kebab and the doner kebab had a very strong, unpleasant, animal-like smell and taste. Furthermore, the meat was very fatty and partly gristly, which further detracted from the overall impression of quality. The sauces weren't served at all initially and only arrived after we asked for them, which further highlighted the already poor service. Unfortunately, I also experienced stomach problems immediately after eating, which made the visit even more unpleasant. We paid a total of €195 for five people. Given the poor quality and the terrible service, we feel this price is absolutely unjustified. We will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again. Anyone who values ​​good food, clean taste and reasonable service should think carefully about whether they want to eat here.

I had an Adana kebab that tasted very strongly of meat and had some lumpy pieces. We also had a plate of doner meat, which was very fatty and tasted more like lamb, which we found unpleasant. Overall, the visit left a very negative impression. In our opinion, there is a lot of room for improvement in both the service and the quality of the food.

It was always great, everything was always delicious, and we were always satisfied. But today, since Ramadan, they put so little on our plates. We ordered a barbecue for two people but only got enough for one. We left hungry and couldn't enjoy it because people were supposed to be coming to break their fast. I went there with friends based on a flyer offer, but it didn't match what was shown in the pictures. It said a 0.33 liter drink was offered, but it was only 0.5 liters of water. We had to pay extra for other drinks, and the dip was just a tiny amount for four people. Otherwise, the food was tasty and the staff was friendly.

It was 6 PM and there was no more bread for the doner kebab. There wasn't a seat available either. Reservations are required! And this was in Walle.

I have to be honest, I was very disappointed with the food. The taste was completely off; it just wasn't tasty. Plus, the portions were so small that none of us were satisfied. What I find particularly annoying is the price. For what you pay, you expect significantly better quality and, above all, larger portions. The prices are really high, but unfortunately, that's not reflected in either the taste or the quantity. Overall, the price-performance ratio is completely off for me. I'm certain of one thing: never again.

We canceled our order and left the restaurant due to the disrespectful behavior we experienced earlier. On previous visits, a different waiter had served us, and we were very satisfied. This evening, the waiter who came to take our order didn't like it (like taxi drivers in Istanbul). Because we ordered one mixed grill and two small lahmacun (Turkish flatbread with minced meat), his response was: "It's Saturday, two small lahmacun cost 5 Euros, we're very busy, we gave you a table, the lahmacuns are on me, I'll still bring your grill." What do you mean, "the lahmacuns are on me"? It was utterly disrespectful. Firstly, we specifically went there because they make really good lahmacun. Secondly, are we buying a VIP booth in a nightclub? Since when do you have a minimum order limit for kebab restaurants? I weigh 47 kilos, why would I order something I can't eat and waste it? If you absolutely have to calculate the total, it would have been around 35 Euros with drinks plus a 5 Euro tip, making it 40 Euros in total, which is perfectly normal for two people. This is a staff approach completely unacceptable for a business in the service sector. I've been in this job for 15 years and I've never allowed any guest to be treated like this. Even if there was a problem, I always knew how to make amends. It's utterly disrespectful.

I went to Köz Iskender and I strongly advise against it. I ordered Iskender – the food was a complete disappointment. There was gristle in the meat, it was incredibly salty, extremely greasy, and obviously undercooked. The food smelled so strange that my son and I had stomach aches the next day. Absolutely inedible! But it wasn't just the food that was a problem – the hygiene was also appalling. The tables were dirty, the toilet was disgusting, and the whole place looked neglected. There was no ventilation, and you just felt uncomfortable. All in all: the worst experience imaginable. Bad food, inadequate hygiene, a health risk – I will definitely never eat there again.

The service was good, but we ordered doner kebabs and unfortunately, they weren't tasty. There wasn't enough sauce, and what little there was was very bland. We had ordered it slightly spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all, and it was also lacking in salt. While salt and hot spices were available on the table, and we could add more, the sauce was sorely missed. Despite the good service, I was disappointed. Furthermore, there's very little space at the table, and the door doesn't close automatically. When customers come in, it's often left open, which makes it cold inside.

We had a delicious meal at Köz İskender in Bremen. I had lamb chops: perfectly grilled, juicy, and a generous portion. Real quality. My son had an Adana dürüm, which was also excellent. Our friend had lamb şiş, also tender and flavorful. The meat here is clearly seriously good. One small point for improvement: they don't ask if you want bulgur or fries. Bulgur is the standard, which is a shame if you prefer fries. This was the case with several dishes at the table. We also had to ask for bread twice before we got it. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant; not a mass market, but a place where you can relax. The quality of the meat makes up for a lot. It must be said, however, that it's not cheap; you're really paying for quality here. All in all, highly recommended for lovers of good Turkish grilled meat, with room for improvement in the service.

I haven't had such a delicious mixed grill platter in ages. The Ustas here are true masters of their craft. The Adana kebab was on a whole other level... and the steak doner was simply amazing... even the Turkish tea at the end was a treat. I can't understand the negative reviews at all. Quality has its price... if you're looking for cheap minced meat doner, this isn't the place... let's not get carried away. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely eat here. I promise! 🤌

This evening, we ordered a mixed platter and Iskender kebab at Köz Kebap İskender. The restaurant was very busy, and I believe the food was prepared in a hurry. Unfortunately, the meat in the Iskender kebab was undercooked; it was raw. We informed the waiter. I had to stop eating the Iskender kebab after a few bites and had to eat from my friend's mixed platter. Despite clearly stating the situation at the cashier, we were charged for both dishes in full. As a customer, my expectation was that they wouldn't charge for an inedible and poorly prepared dish, or at least make a gesture of customer satisfaction. In such a situation, the owner should have shown some embarrassment by not charging. Unfortunately, no such understanding was shown. I am disappointed by this experience and do not intend to order from them again.

Initially, I was intrigued by the kebab shop; the prospect of charcoal-grilled meat piqued my interest. However, my enthusiasm was quickly dampened. The meat tasted distinctly of lamb, even though it was supposed to be beef. This taste significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment. Hygiene also left much to be desired; the tables weren't clean. To top it all off, the kebab plate was overpriced at almost €20. Had I read the negative reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have gone in at all. Overall, I cannot recommend this kebab shop. For the same price, there are much better options elsewhere.

Intense Lamb Flavor and Lumps in the Minced Meat Upon entering the shop, our first impression was initially positive. The doner kebab looked very juicy and high-quality, apparently made from real beef. However, we weren't informed that the meat was additionally coated with lamb fat—information that would have been important to us. We initially sat on the covered terrace. However, it felt very cold and uncomfortable, so we eventually decided to sit inside, as it was significantly warmer there thanks to the grill. The food arrived quickly, and it looked very appealing—we would have given it a 10 out of 10 for that. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the taste. The strong lamb fat flavor dominated the entire meat and overpowered everything else, which we found very unpleasant and not something we'd expect from a classic doner kebab. My wife couldn't finish her meal because of this. She then ordered a portion of köfte (beef meatballs), which the staff readily accommodated. Unfortunately, the next disappointment followed: the köfte contained several hard pieces of gristle, or "lumps," which made the food largely inedible for us. We ate a little more out of hunger, but left the rest. On the positive side, we would like to highlight the friendly service—there was nothing to complain about there. However, what also bothered us was the cleanliness of the tables: both on the terrace and inside, the tables were greasy, dusty, and clearly hadn't been freshly cleaned. Based on this experience, we will not be visiting this restaurant again. For people who enjoy a very strong lamb flavor, the doner kebab might still be interesting—but personally, we cannot recommend this eatery.

The food was partly cold, and for €50 a mixed platter with so little food was simply outrageous. A tiny portion of rice with a pepperoni and a tomato on it was very cheeky and far too expensive – not worth it!

This is the best leaf-wrapped doner kebab I've ever had in Germany. The texture of the lamb meat and the fat content of the doner are perfectly balanced. This taste is unique and can only be found in Türkiye.

Even just handling the bag gave me the impression that the roll was very light – and this impression was confirmed after eating it. Tasted good, but the quantity was disappointing. Ultimately, everyone has to decide for themselves; for me, it wasn't enough.

I (We) love this place. We're regulars. You always get a warm welcome. On weekends, the place is very busy, so you should probably reserve a table... if you want to go spontaneously, you might have to wait... The food is incredibly delicious, from appetizers to dessert... The dishes are prepared on a charcoal grill... As I said, always nice and friendly... we'll be back! Oh, and one more thing: the place is authentic, so there's no beer or other alcoholic drinks. But they do have fresh ayran if you want it 😋

I've been eating here every few weeks for the past year and a half, and I used to love it. Fair prices, delicious food—everything was perfect. I hadn't been for a while, but I went back today. The mixed grill was half the size it usually is, for the same price. Unfortunately, the oven was broken today, so there was no lachmacun, which is always included with the mixed grill. They didn't offer any discount, though. The rice, which is usually included, was also missing, and there was significantly less of everything else as well. I won't be coming back; I think it's outrageous. Furthermore, the company is still advertising on NeoTaste, but they don't accept the coupons from there.

I ate here and was absolutely delighted! The doner meat was grilled over charcoal, and you could taste the difference immediately. It was beautifully crispy on the outside, juicy and full of flavor on the inside. It came with freshly baked flatbread, fluffy rice, and wonderfully roasted peppers. The side dishes were also excellent: fresh salad, flavorful tomatoes, onions with sumac and herbs, and delicious homemade sauces. Everything was perfectly balanced. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy, authentic, and inviting. You can tell that the food here is cooked with love and genuine skill.

We ordered an Adana kebab and a doner kebab plate. The minced meat in the Adana kebab was of the highest quality and practically melted in our mouths. By far the best we've had so far. The doner kebab meat was also high quality, but a little under-seasoned for our taste. Aside from cacik and ezme, which are typical Turkish sauces, there were no other options. The salads were fresh. All in all, a solid and, above all, clean restaurant. We'll definitely be back for the Adana kebab.

However, I've had two arguments about the price during my visits because the bill was always significantly higher than I expected. I think paying €40-50 for a meal for one person is simply too much. Especially when you're only ordering a kofte sandwich and a small lamb skewer, I think it's excessive. There's often confusion, especially when paying, even though ordering is straightforward. I think that's a bit of a shame, because you really want to become a regular customer, but this experience somewhat dampens your desire to go there regularly.

Must try Adana kebap and Kuzu Sarma. Lahmacun was also the closest to what it is supposed to be.

The lahmacun is also very good; the icing on the cake would have been a lemon wedge to squeeze. Then it would be a 10/10. The service was also very attentive, and the food arrived quickly. What more could you ask for?! Another highlight was the Adana kebab video playing on the TV. I would watch it on repeat at home and probably feel a permanent sense of happiness! We wanted to order iskender at a place called Köz Iskender Kebab, but they didn't even have enough meat left for their iskender, so we ordered an Adana platter instead. There was so little on the plate—just a bit of meat and a piece of bread. No salt, no sauce. None of us were satisfied. And the place wasn't cheap either.

Today we tried "Köz Islender Kebap." We ordered a doner plate and a köfte dürüm. Both were quite delicious. They were nothing like your average doner. The meat was tender and had a very well-balanced yet intense flavor. It was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The köfte was even better. It came with tasty side dishes, crispy fries, and two delicious dips. One was an herb dip, and the other tasted of sun-dried tomatoes, chilies, and a touch of paprika paste. Very tasty. Despite the typical doner shop atmosphere, the food here is very tasty and flavorful. The price is a bit high, and the portions could be larger. Nevertheless, we'd gladly come again :)

I was in Bremen today for work and then browsed social media to see what kind of culinary experiences there were. A particular restaurant was recommended to me several times – the hype surrounding it was palpable. So I was inspired and tried it out. The place was packed, but we were lucky and managed to snag a table. We sat down, and a short while later, the waiter came. I've eaten out often myself and even worked as a waiter – so I know what this job is like. But the service we experienced that day was absolutely unacceptable. The waiter was totally unfriendly; the menus were thrown onto the table without a word. The kebab was indeed something special in terms of taste, but in my opinion, it was absolutely not worth the price. Things got really unpleasant at the end: After we'd eaten, we wanted to have some tea. The waitress looked at us with annoyance and downright disgust – apparently because there were other guests waiting outside for a table. Just before we even got our tea, another waiter came and asked us to leave the table. I found that downright rude. Actually, there's a lot more to say, but I'll leave it at that.
