I've been there several times and was generally satisfied. BUT: the employee on November 12th was awful. The doner kebab was completely cold, there was hardly any meat, and he didn't even ask what kind of meat I wanted. In the end, I was served a cold doner bread with salad. And to top it all off, he charged me €5 instead of €4.90. I now expect the owner to give me a free doner kebab as compensation for this disastrous experience.

It's 5:34 a.m. on Saturday morning. We – a group of four men – were treated like royalty. Highly recommended! We'd gladly come again.

Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the doner after the second bite because I found a bone the length of my little finger in it. The place was unhygienic and disgustingly smelly. I don't even want to know what kind of "meat" that was.

There are stickers on the door for MasterCard, Visa, and debit cards, but card payments aren't accepted. This is misleading and annoying.

The falafel wrap was okay, but the hygiene really left a lot to be desired. Please get a second pair of tongs or a couple of spoons. It's unacceptable that the same tongs are used to pick up the meat and the salad and vegetables at the same time. All the leftovers from the doner kebab skewer were scattered among the vegetables. Simply disgusting!

We were there with Norwegian exchange students and had a wonderful time, with delicious food. Highly recommended.

The doner kebab is truly delicious and a must-try for everyone. It saves your life after every party on the weekend, and it cures my hunger during the day. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. I love this doner kebab and the truly lovely woman who makes it. Highly recommended!

I generally enjoyed being a customer at Baku; the kebab is decent and the location is great. Last week, when I tried to pay for a €13 drink with a card, the card reader was held up to me. When I asked to see the price, it said €14. When I asked again, I was rudely told to tip. I've heard of similar behavior from friends at this place. For me, it's an absolute no-go; I can only advise against eating here.

Disaster! We went there for dinner, were treated rudely, and on top of that, we saw the prices outside AND inside, but had to pay more each time because: "Prices are different today." He only told us this after the food was ready. On top of that, the meat was really not good, with a lot of fat that made you chew forever, sad... I really can't recommend it at all. If I could, I would give it 0 stars.

Terrible. They charge 2 euros more than they claim, and the quality is TERRIBLE.

What you're selling there is simply terrible. A place for the health department. To top it off, it's also unfriendly and arrogant. Well, the only people who go there are drunks from the club who can't figure out the cause of their diarrhea.

I asked the Ethiopian employee why the shop was called "Baku." He replied, "You're a HS." I didn't understand, so I left. PS: The kebab was okay.

The chicken was half-raw, so if you want a colonic, I highly recommend it. Montezuma's revenge definitely strikes.

The kebab is very big and good! It is tasty but slightly salty depends on your preference.

Overbearing employee. Bread was simply smeared with sauce (spicy) before I could make a request. When asked, he responded with “Yes, bad luck,” very unfriendly and not recommended. Very unpleasant fellow.

Unfortunately, my visit to Baku Döner was a disappointment. I ordered an XL doner kebab with veal and turkey, but the quality of the product left much to be desired. The meat wasn't freshly cut from the spit, but seemed to be leftovers from a previous roasting that were simply lying around. The mix was also anything but balanced: about 90% turkey and only 10% veal – simply what was available. The salad bar initially made a good impression, but there was hardly any of that in the doner itself. It mainly contained some iceberg lettuce, while red cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers were virtually absent. At home, I took the whole thing apart, pan-fried it, and added fresh ingredients like cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce to make it more palatable. Despite my improvements, the overall impression remained negative. For a dish that promises freshness and flavor, this was a bitter disappointment. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the doner kebab, at least not in the form presented.

Ordered food today, only got some delivered and no way to reach the store, pretty sad. We don't order there anymore. The kids were very disappointed.

I was there yesterday around midnight and got 3 kebabs. The meat was pretty rotten. It tasted like stinky shit. Never again 🤢🤢🤢

Good kebab but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Lahmacun was very tasty, the dough was a bit underseasoned but on the whole I can recommend it

The kebab man had time and started from cutting the meat with a lot of love and, above all, chopping the large pieces into small pieces, to filling it with sauce three times (after meat - after vegetables - again meat and again sauce) to carefully packing up the nothing gets squished - note the guy with glasses and a cap backwards! The kebab was really tasty

Very friendly service, even made an extra large kebab. Veal & poultry meat was available as a selection. The taste is rather standard but, as I said, a large portion. What wasn't so good, unfortunately, was the garlic sauce. Vegetables/salad very fresh and crunchy. Top service, top location, kebab standard. Good 3 out of 5 stars.

I spontaneously decided on a vegetable kebab while walking past and didn't regret it (kebab kebab plus bottle of beer = €8) very tasty 😋 Service very good. Always happy ☺️

I work in the catering industry myself and know how hard this job can be. Normally I never write reviews, but what I experienced here today was really amazing. The toilet was completely filled with piss, which can happen if you don't pay attention to the last guests. But the seller was an absolute hit. I only wanted my kebab to be minimally spicy (I can tolerate spicy), but the kebab burned my taste buds away. And when asked why the kebab cost 7 euros instead of 6 euros (as stated on the menu), the seller simply replied with a cheeky "That's why". I sincerely hope you fire this salesperson effective immediately. So far I've had good experiences with this shop, but I've never had anything so bad in Bayreuth. You must be aware that this is a violation of Section 305c of the German Civil Code (BGB). So it would be very interesting if you keep this seller :)

Bread, meat, sauce and the price was great.

At the beginning it was great but after a year it unfortunately deteriorated. Ordered Dürüm very briefly in the “toaster” with extra meat, extra meat was as much as my little finger. Unfortunately disappointing. The taste is no longer as good as it was back then.

Delicious! Portion is very good for the price and the staff are friendly. Friendly and in a good mood. I would be happy to come back and recommend it.

Worst kebab in Bayreuth. Ingredients were saved for other customers and the kebab wasn't nearly worth the money. Customers are being ripped off to make more profit, what a shame! If you point out to them that it is far too little, you will only be met with a lack of understanding. Absolutely deserves 0 stars! There are much better kebabs that deserve it

Taste goes towards shoebox (i.e. zero) No seasoning in the meat, sauces etc. Herb whatever instead of a good garlic sauce. As I said, unfortunately completely tasteless

3 different prices, in front of the store then in the store and they charge something completely different.

Freundliches Personal, habe auch paar mal was geschenkt bekommen. Leider war das Fleisch aber nie ganz durch.

Ein wirklich leckerer Döner! Auch zu später Stunde frische Zutaten und eine gut gelaunte Bedienung. Ich lehne mich auch soweit aus dem Fenster, dass ich den Döner als den besten Bayreuths bezeichne ❤️

Döner war in Ordnung, aber jetzt auch nicht extrem gut. Bedienung sehr nett. Die Preise die draußen stehen stimmen nicht mit den Preisen an der inneren Tafel überein: das sollte man dringend ändern.

Schmeckt hier immer sehr lecker und das Gemüse ist immer frisch und knackig! Sehr nette Dame hat mich bedient :)

Ich war heute das erste Mal mit Sohn in Bayreuth und wir haben hier den ersten Döner in Bayreuth bestellt. Meine Ansprüche sind hoch, ich komme aus der Mudderstadt des Döners. Allerdings war alles in bester Ordnung! Das Dönerfleisch war frisch, der Salat knackig (Wobei mir Sauerkraut im Döner fremd war...muss son Bayern-Ding sein). Mein Sohn und ich wurden super respektvoll und auf Augenhöhe angesprochen. Als er 5 Minuten später seine Dönerbox fallen ließ, bekamen wir sogar überraschender Weise direkt einen Ersatz, for free!! Erstklassiger Service und nicht mal Standard in Berlin! Macht weiter so ✌️

Leider wie so oft Döner besteht eigentlich nur aus Brät und schmeckt nach Brühwürfel Darf sich so niemals Döner nennen Schade Das Brot war nicht schlecht und der Salat frisch

Super lecker! Ein von besten Döners den ich je probiert habe. Ich habe noch nie gesehen wenn im Döner die Soße so sorgfältig verteilt wird. Normal ist ja - „platsch“ mit dem Löffel - passt schon.. und hier ist darauf geachtet und der Döner schmeckt einfach sehr gut. Gemüse auch sehr frisch und knackig.
