Baharat Falafel in Berlin

Have been coming here for a decade, its known in the area for being the best Falafel place. Everyone who works there is great and the food is wonderful and fresh. Cannot recommend highly enough

Worst falafel in a long time – and with just a single wilted lettuce leaf and a tiny piece of tomato in the pita bread. Sad. And on top of that, the waitress reacted rudely to the criticism. I used to recommend this place – but now I definitely won't! Never going back.

At first glance, a small, inconspicuous snack bar. However, the food has it all, the shawarma is very tasty, quite filling for €7 and also satisfies even the larger hunger. On top of that, the owner/staff is extremely friendly and personable. I would really like to explore the menu further next time I visit Berlin.

Ordered the big shawarma sandwich through wolt. Honestly, it was the most disappointing shawarma i had my entire life. Chicken tasted weird and way too oily, no garlic paste, no tahini, barely any pickles, not even chilli (which are all listed in the description). Had to throw most of it unfortunately. As a lebanese, im super disappointed with this very "sad" shawarma sandwich. Not to mention the tabouleh that had no sauce whatsoever. SUPER dry! Sadly, never again ordering from here.

Woww I’m so happy I found this restaurant! I’m Lebanese visiting Berlin for a few days and I had a craving for falafel… not a lot of options in Berlin but this restaurant did more than satisfy my craving! The owner is such a nice person! You can see he truly cares for his clients. I love to encourage small business like this and mostly when the owner of it is passionate and cares. 110% recommend 😊 of course you have to try their shawarma but don’t miss out on their falafel and halloumi sandwich 😍🤤

Been a very good snack bar for years

By far one of the best places for shawarma and baba ghanoush. This is the second time my girlfriend and I have been here and each time the food tastes a little better. I had a shawarma roll and my girlfriend a baba ghanoush mesa (plate) and ate both together. We order this combination often but every bite here was a pleasure. The shawarma was crispy, juicy and had lots of flavor and the baba ghanoush was spicy and fresh. The two dishes themselves are really great, but when combined together it becomes a completely different experience. The mix between the crispy shawarma and the spicy baba ghanoush was a real flavor bomb. I would definitely recommend the combination to everyone. Otherwise the service was friendly and quick. The store gets 5 stars from me.

Anyone who travels a lot at Nollendorfplatz and Winterfeldtplatz has a large selection of falafel snacks. Habibi may be the most famous name among them, but Baharat is the reference. It's simply delicious, the owner is a grand master of his kitchen - and it's clean too. Here you don't just get the classic falafel on hand, but also a variety of plated dishes and - which I particularly appreciate - the falafel or halloumi in "Tannour" bread. Add a delicious orange-carrot juice and the lunch is perfect.

I tasted the Phoenicia Schawarma and Halloumi Wrap and were so delicious, came all the way from Zurich to taste this Lebanese restaurant 🥰 The staff are so welcoming and so lovely.

I packed and ate a box of falafel. The quantity is small compared to the price. It has a strong salty and sour taste and almost no sweetness. Airan also tastes like the original without any sweetness, so I don't think it will suit Korean tastes.

Absolutely love Baharat Falafel! Had it almost every night of our stay in Berlin for dinner! The owner is so kind, which makes the food better, and speaks excellent English which helped as I do not speak any German. The falafel (number 5 on the menu I believe) was delicious and the best falafel I have had so far! Very Highly recommend going here! Even over some of the more popular places (we tried a few!)

Der Shawarmar ist extrem lecker und der typ drin ist sypatisch. Service und Essen top!

Falafel war frisch gebraten ..gut gewürzt/ Brot war leider zu kalt / schlaff und mehr Soße wäre auch besser gewesen...bissel trocken dadurch 😅

Unfassbar lecker! Ich hatte den Falafel-Teller mit Taboule und Hummus. Der Hummus und der Taboule Salat waren echt lecker. Das eindeutige Highlight ist aber die Falafel. Ich habe zuvor noch nie zuvor so gute Falafel gegessen. Außen schön knusprig und mit ganz tollen Aromen perfekt abgestimmt. Super!

Wir haben dort zum 1. Mal Shawarma gegessen, sehr zu empfehlen und total lecker, sehr freundlicher Service, man kann draussen sitzen, auf dem Gehweg/Bürgersteig

Essen wie in Marokko. Lecker, relativ günstig und alles frisch. Der Koch ist freundlich und wortkarg, aber schnell.

Ich habe viele falafel in Berlin probiert und finde das der falafel hier der beste in Berlin ist. Und auch super nette Mitarbeiter :)

Naja, war schon wesentlich besser...3 Falafelkugeln (frisch zubereitet) mit ein wenig Salat und wenig Soße etwas lieblos zubereitet, ein frisch gepresster Möhren-Orangensaft und eine Brause für 18.50 € ist schon 'ne Hausnummer. Beim nächsten Mal dann doch lieber zu Habibi. Schade, ist ja eigentlich ein Traditionsladen. Nachtrag: Lieber Eigentümer, es waren 2 Falafel, 1 gr. Saft und eine Coke =18,50€. 2.Nachtrag: Danke für den Hinweis lieber Eigentümer, es ging ja nicht um den Preis, sondern vielmehr um die Qualität der Zubereitung. Erst immer eine Zubereitung beenden und dann die nächste Bestellung annehmen.

Sehr einfaches Falafel-Restaurant. Die Falafel selber sind ganz i.O., leider sind die Beilagen (Falafel Teller Klassik) sehr überschaubar, einfach und trocken. Das Brot ist maximal 0815. Prinzipiell so ganz gerade noch im grünen Bereich, doch leider kommt noch unfreundlicher Service dazu - vom Chef persönlich. Ein anwesender Angestellter war freundlich, der Chef selber, der auch das Essen zubereitet hat, war geradezu unfreundlich und hat sogar meine beiden Töchter unfreundlich behandelt. Trotzdem des guten Rufs leider keine Empfehlung, die guten Jahre scheinen sehr lange vorbei zu sein. Um die Ecke, an der Längsseite Winterfeld Markt, ist es leckerer und vor allen freundlicher. Schade!

Leider darf ich nur 5 Sterne vergeben alleine die Falafel sind 10 Sterne wert. Endlich habe ich mein Liebling Falafel gefunden. Geschmack und schon wie es riecht Hammer, wie aus meiner Kindheit. Scharwarma Brot klasse Inhalt mit Gemüse klasse aber leider war das Fleisch nicht richtig gewürzt trotzdem sehr lecker. Erwähnen möchte ich auch die erstklassige Lieferung. Wurde in einer Box ausgeliefert wo das Essen noch warm war und nicht kalt wie bei anderen Lieferanten Baharat Falafel ist jeden Cent wert werde nächste mal wieder bestellen!

15€ für einen Schwarmateller, Hähnchen einfach nur geschmacklich schlecht. Nichtmal Salat als Beilage dabei 😂 Pommes schlecht gewürzt, also das ist schon echt frech dafür 15€ zu verlangen. Essen ist direkt im Müll gelandet. Niewieder!! Mit einer der schlechtesten schwarmateller die ich je hatte.

Spontaner Fund über die Google-Suche und nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr lecker und reichhaltig (Falafel Sandwich und Hummus).

Kann man den Bewertungen wirklich trauen? Jeder, der noch das alte Falafelsandwich der Vorbesitzer kennt, merkt doch sofort, dass das gar nichts mehr mit damit zu tun hat. Für uns nur noch langweilige Gemüsebällchen im Brot, wir suchen definitiv weiter. Edit: Der Inhaber sollte evtl. mehr am Essen, als an den Bewertungen arbeiten.

Habe eine vegetarische Imbissmöglichkeit in Hotelnähe gesucht und die positiven Bewertungen haben mich hergelockt. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Ich hatte einen der besten Falafel-Wraps seit langer Zeit zu einem fairen Preis. Falafelbällchen wurden noch vor Ort geformt. Dazu noch nett bedient worden, was will man mehr?
