Sahara has super tasty bowls! Compared to many other places, their bowls are so flavorful: the sauces are rich, and the portions are really generous. Always delicious!! Could highly recommend! The location itself is so and so, I usually prefer to get it delivered/get it to go.

BEST VEGAN ROLL IN BERLIN!! Been on vacation for ten days in Berlin with my girlfriend and this was definitely the best place we ate at. It’s simply just too good. Very big portions for a fair price and on top of that person serving us was really nice and helpful. We recommend it a lot, WE LOVED IT :)

This was a great discovery! While visiting the covered market, I stumbled upon this cute restaurant. I ordered a spezial rollo and it was amazing. The meat is tasty, the falafels are crunchy, the Spices make you travel around the world, it is worth every euro. Talking about the price, if is really affordable for the size you're getting! A whole sandwich is 10€ and while feed you for the day. I highly recommand you try it out!

Highly recommended! Everyone goes to that fancy market hall next door, but this is much better! Really large portions, interesting selection of bowls, rolls, sandwiches, including vegan options. All the ingredients seem to be genuinely homemade. P.S. It's all just a little greasy, in case you have stomach problems.

A wonderful place to try Sudanese street food! The dishes are hearty, the sauces delicious (especially the peanut sauce), and there are veggie and vegan options. The wait staff is super friendly; they explained everything to us, and then we chatted a bit about food from around the world. Highly recommended!

Very tasty 🫶🏻 I had the Chicken Magali Sandwich 💛 A different kind of flavor explosion 🤤 The chicken was seasoned with curry, the vegetables were different than usual, and the peanut sauce 🥜 was excellent 👌🏻 and the price is totally reasonable! I highly recommend it 🫶🏻

The quality of the food has declined significantly. It's now very difficult to eat because a hole immediately forms at the bottom, causing everything to fall out. Prices have risen from €4.50 to €6 in the last 1.5 years.

Every time I order here something is missing. This time an entire dish was missing. The sandwich was also ridiculously small (extra spicy was also forgotten). Absolutely disappointing.

New peanut sauce, new whole grain pide, new recipe, hummus with too much water, eggplant paste too sweet, everything sucks. It no longer has anything to do with what made Sahara so big in Berlin. RIP Sahara :(

First of all the portions were huge!! Secondly, the food was delicious, I ordered poke bowl chicken with rice and I really liked it. My mother took the restaurant's specialty and was very pleased. The service gentlemen were also very nice. I recommend:)

Unfortunately not good. Bread was soggy, chicken was dry, just old... it was fried again and then sauce was poured on it to cover up the taste..worst halloumi chicken sandwich after 12 years in Berlin

I don't know who can give such a store good reviews. I took a Sahara special plate and the only good thing was the tomato slice. In general everything was bad... Decorated without any sense, just thrown on the plate and mixed up, dry and black falafel that also tasted old, very dry chicken breast, poor quality beef at the kufta... So €8 for nothing

I had a tasty and inexpensive beef meat plate. Sitting outside on small benches or inside possible.

You get a pretty big portion for the price, but there's just way too much sauce on it and half of the plate/bowl consists of fried potatoes and sweet potatoes. Neither of us managed to finish it because it tasted really horrible.

Fantastic falafel. Never tried a similar falafel, this one tastes unique. Full of flavour. The peanut sauce combines perfectly with it. I had the tofu falafel sandwich, yum<3 The place is small and aesthetically pleasing. Youssouf is very friendly!

Attention to all those affected by celiac disease: The snack bar is recommended online as a place where you can eat gluten-free. Unfortunately my food was contaminated and I had terrible stomach pains and the classic gluten stomach afterwards. My partner saw that the tongs that were used to touch my vegetables also pushed other guests' bread apart - a shame. It was actually super tasty!

Delicious food. Fast service, located in a nice area with lots of bars, cafes and shops in the vicinity. Order something with Magali (the fried vegetables) they are soooo good. Just a heads up it can take a little longer to prepare ~5-10 minutes.

Great sandwich I ate yesterday, had to leave a review. This guy makes the food with loooove and you feel it in every bite. Good amount of meat in every serving. The guy working was so focused on the job and I really enjoyed the spicy sauce!!

Delicious and inexpensive Sudanese food. Friendly team. We like to come here again and again. The curd balls that you get as a guest while you wait are also delicious.

The sandwiches and the rollos are my absolute favorite! Whether vegan, vegetarian or with meat, I have never been disappointed. Prices are really great too, so there's no reason to eat the 1000th kebab when you can stop by here :)

Never tried this before but this was a huge portion. I got Sahara Imbiss Spezial and it had haloumi, falafel, chicken, other meat, hummus, carrots, potatoes, rice, peanut sauce. Definitely a lot of proteins and I think that is a portion for 2. Yes, a great experience with great food. Don't expect a luxurious place, though.

This place is just one of the must visit falafel places in berlin , i tried three different sandwiches until now and the place never failed me down, the falafel magali is just a must and the sauce i can't get enough of this amazing peanut sauce , plus having the idea of free tea cup is an additional to enjoy the experience, i rly highly recommend this place

Right next to Markthalle Neun, we had delicious wraps (Rollo) outside. The staff is from Khartoum, I had a chat in English and they were very friendly

A Berlin local showed us this area and restaurant. Had amazing food and service. The atmosphere was lively and filled with friends and families chatting the night away. Would visit here anytime and is a great area in case it’s too busy tons of amazing options within walking distance!

Very very tasty from the first to the last bite I don't normally like sweet potatoes and hearty sauces but this was really tasty and enjoyable The falafel were also nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and just right In addition to the peanut sauce, there were several sauces to choose from on the side of the plate There was also fresh salad! I didn't finish everything because everything on it fills up very quickly The employees are very friendly and personable, they definitely know their craft I also find the atmosphere very inviting and very individual It's a small shop, but you can see a lot in it! It is also family friendly I think the country map alone is very cool and has a pleasant aura I will definitely come here again and warmly recommend it My favorite of the whole weekend!

Wow brothers, I was amazed how delicious the food was, wow definitely recommend and the peanut sauce(erdnuss) and the mango that comes with the hummus teller. I had an Sahara bowl and was happy with the BIG Portion that came with it, me and my friend still ended up ordering a hummus teller to share and left the place happy and satisfied Plus the two guys working at the counter were very friendly and nice to us , after we told them we are from Brazil and had a little chitchatting. If I'm in Berlin, this is where I'm returning for Lunch.

Haben den Sahara Imbiss heute zufällig entdeckt, als wir zur Markthalle 9 wollten. Da wir beide noch nie sudanesisch gegessen haben, hat uns der Imbiss sehr interessiert. Beim Studieren der Speisekarte haben wir auch gleich etwas für uns gefunden, und deshalb entschieden hier zu essen. Das Essen wurde schnell, frisch und lecker zubereitet. Die Portion war wirklich sehr groß, alleine kaum schaffbar. Aber es war lecker, besonders die Erdnusssoße ist ein Highlight gewesen. Auch der Halloumi und die Falafel sind zu empfehlen. Es war den Besuch hier wirklich wert.

My first visit tonight with my son who lives nearby. There was only one guy doing all the cooking, serving etc and yet he produced anazingly tasty plates of Sahara Teller for both of us....... and so many others eating there on a Wednesday evening! I'm hoping this is the first of many visits there. Great food, great service and unpretentious tasty food - yum yum yum 😋

The tofu sandwich is amazing. Fried tofu, with fried bell paper, eggplant purée. With all the sauces added, it’s the right amount of saltiness. Wish I had chances to try the chicken and beef dishes!

Incredible incredible falafels, it's a must visit if you're in kreuzberg. They put a peanut sauce in it... It's delicious, the bread is nice and fresh, the falafels are crispy and the service is really nice. For 3.5 euros I don't think you can get a better deal elsewhere in Berlin!

Ein laden der mich mich endlich mal wieder aus den socken gehauen hat. Sehr lecker. Die Erdnusssoße hammer und ich mag eigentlich keine erdnusssoße xD Dann noch die preise mega gut. Sandwiches 3.50€ - 4.50€ und teller 7€-9€ euro sehr zu empfehlen auf jeden fall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
