Excellent price/performance ratio

I was pleasantly surprised. Despite many guests, we didn't have to wait long for the food, only the drinks were a bit slow. The very plentiful and delicious food convinced us. I would like to come here again and recommend it to others.

The food was very good, but the fact that some of the waiters were wearing sweatpants spoiled the ambience a bit...

I'm from Bad Sulza, but I haven't managed to eat at Bacchus yet. Yesterday the time had come. So I'm really excited. A pleasant atmosphere. Very good selection of food and the quality is really top. The prices are definitely okay. Unless I missed a corner somewhere, every seat was occupied, which speaks for itself. Very friendly attentive staff. If you tweak the coordinates a little bit, you get full marks here. Yes, the Bacchus will probably become one of our favorite restaurants and right in town. We ate again today, it was so delicious. The service was bad, we were with a larger group, you had the feeling that the waiters didn't want to make any sales. All glasses were empty but no waiter came. There was also no ouzo to greet or say goodbye. The taste of the food was pretty poor. I've never had fatty gyros before.

I spend several days in Bad Sulza every year for training purposes and actually always go to Bacchus. There is nothing negative to report about the quality of the food. I like gratinated dishes and really enjoy eating the gratinated bifteki here. The garlic potatoes alone are mega. This year I was here twice within 4 days and the food was great as always. The price-performance ratio is absolutely OK. What I noticed, however, is that the service doesn't seem to be particularly motivated. This actually seems totally listless, or even annoying. Of course that can be misleading, but a restaurant shouldn't give that impression. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to coming here again next year.

We often come to the Bachus restaurant and always eat delicious food and always grilled meat that is perfectly flavored and well seasoned. The service is top notch and they are always diligent and quick to bring drinks and food to the table and, above all, they are really nice and friendly.

Food was actually more or less run of the mill, nothing new...actually not what you could use...after eating there 3 times I'm cured. Friendliness and ambience are actually quite okay but still always very busy. Service is actually a bit subpar, the food is on the table after just a few minutes and you wonder whether it is really fresh... The salad is carelessly prepared in a small bowl and isn't really attractive either. I also don't understand the five star ratings here, some of which focus a lot on the food, which I honestly find underwhelming. But still the surroundings and the ambience are actually quite okay and deserve a solid 4 stars.

Amazing, the meat was grilled to perfection, a huge portion and it tasted great. And at that price (20.90 for the Bacchus plate with 4 types of meat)!!!! Ordering and eating very quickly. Highly Recommended.

I wanted to go there for dinner last week too. If you go on vacation you definitely deserve it. But it would be just as decent to provide potential guests with appropriate information. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. Too bad 😞

Wanted to eat delicious food again. Pustekuchen, there were some guests there at lunchtime (11.30 a.m.), but no host. No mention of vacation or illness. It's okay, it was just my birthday 🎂.

Underground. Waited forever for drinks and to top it all off, not only did we get the wrong dishes, we also got dishes that weren't even on the menu. Ordered 150, got 151 but got 3! Filling side dishes. Filled with rice, served with potato wedges + half potatoes. So in total there was very little calamari. Never again!!!

Tolles Restaurant, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen. Auch ohne Reservierung wurde es ermöglicht einen Tisch zu finden. Wir waren alle vier zufrieden und würden wieder kommen. Folglich, ganz klare Empfehlung.

Greek with extremely bad service! Our group had pre-ordered a buffet for a long time and called again a week in advance to ask if everyone was okay. And when we arrived, there was no buffet prepared and no tables set for our company. Were greeted grumpily and told they didn't know anything. In very bad German we were then told that they were getting a few tables ready and that there were large plates on the table. That was the offer for two, where four people were supposed to share, for €30 each! Simply outrageous! I can get good food elsewhere here too, but with great service!

Six of us ate at this restaurant today and we all loved it. The food was very tasty and also a lot. The service was also great. One waiter (middle-aged, black hair) particularly stood out for his thoughtfulness and friendliness. We'd love to come back when we're in the area.

...we were there for dinner, I didn't know the restaurant yet. Starters ordered, plates were still dirty (were replaced), my main course was cold and was returned,... I was supposed to get a new meal, this came after about 2 minutes and that's how it tasted (it was probably just warmed up ) I ate about 4 to 5 bites, I couldn't eat more......I was very disappointed and will not visit this restaurant again. It's a shame, I usually really enjoy Greek food, whether in Germany or in beautiful Greece...

Nice restaurant.....you can do it sometimes but there's no comparison to the former Swiss house in Apolda......and today my food was cold too......

Nice Greek restaurant with very good service. The food came quickly and was very good. Restaurant was well attended.

The food generally tastes good. The starters are excellent, we recommend the starter plate, which consists of various starters. The excellent gyros are immediately noticeable on the farmer's plate, the liver was not to my taste because I like it well-done rather than soft. The fries were ok. The service was very nice, but we had to wait an unusually long time both for the order and for the drinks to be served. I can recommend Bacchus without hesitation, overall it tasted very good and we had a lovely evening!

Very nice restaurant! But what is very bad is the service. I only got 1 drink the whole evening, so there were 4 people in our entire table. Nobody asked if we wanted anything. Funny! The food was there before the drink so we had the feeling we shouldn't linger there. The service was very nice but they looked like guests and not like the service. It would be nice if the waitress wore Greek clothing. But I have to say we won't be coming back any time soon.

Nice restaurant with a great ambience. The food {lamb} was delicious, the bifteki probably had feta mixed with other cheese. Beer with less foam would be nice...

Went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with six people. Ordered online because the phone number provided didn't work. Food was good, service subpar. You could tell from the service staff that it was a Sunday evening and they weren't in the mood anymore. Drinks had to be ordered several times to get anything at all. I know Greeks differently. Relaxed, fun and above all hospitable. Unfortunately we didn't have that feeling at all. It's a shame, since the restaurant was highly praised by our friends, we were probably unlucky that day.

We have booked via the restaurant's website for January 13th. Reserved a table and received an email confirmation of the reservation and ended up standing in front of closed doors because of vacation. Very disappointing that the restaurant's own reservation system does not refer to vacation.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Sekunde willkommen. Danke und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich gehe eigentlich eher weniger griechisch essen, da mich das übliche Speisenangebot nicht so anspricht, muss aber zugeben, daß es hier dann doch wirklich sehr gut war. Ich hatte gefüllte Kalamari und es war sehr sehr lecker. Auch die Kostprobe vom überbackenen Gyros mit Knoblauchkartoffeln war überzeugend. Die Vorspeisenplatte war ebenso sehr abwechslungsreich und reichlich. Die ausgeschenkten Weine sind ok und ein Ouzo aufs Haus war auch noch drin. Die Preise sind der Qualität absolut angemessen, nur der Service ist etwas ungestüm und drängelt schon nach Getränken obwohl noch nicht alle in die Karten schauen konnten. Da ist noch ein wenig Luft nach oben.

Gutes Essen verstehen nicht so richtig was man bestellen möchte habe die 122 bestellt was haben sie gebracht die 22 müssten mehr auf die Leute eingehen gehen öfter an den Tischen vorbei und schauen nicht ob in den Gläsern noch was drin ist

Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. So auch der unter Vorspeisen aufgeführte gemischte Teller (Nr. 28). Der ist so reichlicher gefüllt, dass er vielmehr als Hauptspeise anzusehen ist. Bei der bestellten Flasche Wein erhielten wir leider ohne Kommentar eine völlig andere Sorte als in der Karte ausgewiesen. Auch bei der zweiten Flasche war es wieder eine ganz andere Sorte Wein und dann leider auch noch aus dem Jahr 2019. Das konnte man dann auch schon schmecken. Zum Ende wurden wir auch nicht mehr nach Getränkewünschen gefragt. Man hätte mit uns durchaus mehr verdienen können. Unpassend war auch die Jogginghose eines Kellners.

Wir waren schon mehrfach im Baccus essen und es ist jedesmal wunderbar. Sehr kinderfreundlich, super Service und natürlich mega gutes Essen. Vielen lieben Dank an das tolle Team. Bis bald.

Super Ambiente. Kalter Empfang. Karten auf Nachbartisch abgelegt. Vorspeise sehr gut, auch wenn wir getrennt essen mußten. Hauptspeise konnte nicht geliefert werden, weil keiner abräumte. Salat fehlte. Haar im Essen und vom Chef einen kurzes "Okay". (Wurde wenigstens nicht berechnet). Keine Verabschiedung. Sehr hecktisches Servicepersonal. Übermäßig laut am Nachbartisch, was aber auch keinen von den Servicekräften interessierte. PS. Wir waren schon in ganz Deutschland griechisch essen, aber dies war das erste Mal ohne einen Ouzo auf's Haus.

Eten was lekker, Service/klantgerichtheid ervoeren wij als minder. We werden gevraagd naar een tafel binnen te verplaatsen. (Instructie van "vader" omdat er een grote groep aankwam). Uiteindelijk mochten we toch blijven zitten omdat er ander tafeltje afrekende ....

Wir hatten vorher Plätze bestellt . Hat auch alles perfekt geklappt . Die Vorspeisen kamen nach Bestellung sehr schnell und haben gut geschmeckt . Die Bestellung des Hauptganges haben wir kurz nach der ersten Bestellung aufgegeben . Nach circa 1,5 Stunden fragten wir höflich nach , alle anderen Gäste hatten inzwischen gegessen . Was wir bekamen waren die Reste unserer Vorspeisen zum Mitnehmen ,die wir nicht wollten . Unsere Bestellung war verloren gegangen . Kann passieren , kein Thema . Aber eine Entschuldigung gab es von dem älteren Kellner nicht , sondern ein Haalloo worum geht es den hier . Wir sind ohne Abendessen , hungrig davon gegangen .
