It's a good thing a place like this still exists! The food is simply delicious, and they serve good old red draft beer 👍. Please don't let our appearances sway you; just go in and enjoy.

Very tasty, inexpensive home-cooked food. That's what counts; we'll definitely be back.

"Food like mom used to make." That's perfect! I had pea soup here: it's exactly how it should taste! And there was draft beer! Freshly tapped by the owner himself. Truly the best in summer! You can come here often and try the menu!

A very quaint rest stop with a huge selection of delicious and reasonably priced food. The owner is humorous and friendly. We'll be going there often.

Great food and great staff. Even though they were only open for another 15 minutes, I was still able to order a farmer's breakfast and a delicious lunch without having to push.

We were passing through and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. At first you are naturally surprised by the exterior of the building, which has a rather commercial impression. We followed the handwritten signs and entered a “living room with a bar.” Overwhelmed by the extensive selection, it took us some time to find our food on the handwritten boards. The innkeeper Heiko took our order and we were served a wonderful, filling lunch based on the motto “Eat like mothers”. Don't be put off by the inconspicuous exterior of the commercial hall and go inside, it's really worth one or more visits and the innkeeper Heiko is a humorous, friendly original. Wenn man erst einmal durch die Teppichwelt durchgestolpert ist, landet man in einer Gaststätte wie in DDR Zeiten. Das Essen ist einwandfrei, die Bedienung sehr höflich und wir gehen mittlerweile mehrfach die Woche. Preise sind sehr gut, absolute 10/10.

Ich bin immer wieder vorbei gefahren, bis heute.....>>>> ein kleiner Raum, sehr freundliche Bedienung, großes Angebot zu wirklich moderaten Preisen und richtige Hausmannskost. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und denke, dass nicht nur Brummifahrer hier satt werden und wiederkommen. Der 5. Stern fehlt wegen des äußeren Umfeldes, aber dazu können die Betreiber schließlich nichts.....

Im ersten Moment wirkt es ein wenig irritierend...Essen im Baumarkt??? Aber nicht abschrecken lassen, nur hinein und wunderbare frisch gekochte Hausmannskost genießen. Man sitzt urig, wie im Wohnzimmer aus Kindertagen und genau so gut ist auch das Essen, daß mit Charme und Humor serviert wir. Da fühlt sich auch die Ortsfremde gleich wohl.Günstige Preise.
