A lovely restaurant in a very pleasant setting. I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Excellent cuisine. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍 The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

It was our first time eating at the castle inn, and we were very impressed. The food was truly delicious (I had the roulade). The atmosphere is lovely and cozy. The staff is very friendly; our only minor complaint is that we were served by different people each time, which was a little confusing. However, the castle inn is still relatively new, and I think they'll improve over time. We'll definitely be back. ☺️

I had the wild boar sauerbraten, which tasted absolutely fantastic, but unfortunately, my pieces were a bit dry and tough. I'll definitely come back, but next time I'd like to try something different.

Unfortunately, a spontaneous stop for cyclists isn't possible. We had to continue cycling to Bad Sulza. Only with a reservation, very unusual for a garden restaurant.

The food was excellent, but the service still needs improvement. (It wasn't a trainee.) If you offer free bread as a welcome gift from the kitchen, every table should get it, and if you ask the waitress about it, then that's even more important. We'll try again.

Now we have another restaurant in our beautiful town that offers absolutely great value for money. The food was amazing! There's something for everyone on the extensive menu. The only improvement I can suggest is adding one or two dishes for younger guests. I wish Mr. Jakobi and his team much success and always a full house. PS: We'll be there more often.

With its new owner, the Schloss-Gasthof is finally something for the average earner. The food is truly worth the price and of very good quality: crisp vegetables, fresh local fish (trout from Wichmar), or, as in my case, a delicious piece of beef. I've had significantly less quality for more money in the Bad Sulza area. Here, it's just right and tasty. I'm excited about the regularly changing menus that will be available. The menu isn't very extensive, but with meat, fish, and vegetarian options, there's something for everyone. Wine and beer are available locally, also at reasonable prices. I wish the new owner much success! I'll definitely be back!

The conditions are nice, but there are language barriers, but it's not that bad. Everyone is nice and tries to do everything right. Unfortunately, the food is too expensive for the price. I expected more for the price.

Two Swiss francs in Thuringian Tuscany. A wonderful time in a fantastic restaurant with attentive service and delicious, creative cuisine. The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is made with delicious, fresh, regional produce. A beautiful ambiance throughout the estate, clean, spacious rooms that leave nothing to be desired, and a garden with a pool that is a well-kept oasis of peace and relaxation. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

We spontaneously ordered a table on the terrace, great ambience under the big chestnut tree! The staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was well cooked and tasted very good!!! A small point of criticism: I wouldn't have expected plaice "Finkenwerder style" and glass noodle salad in Thuringia. Maybe a little more regionality would be better 😉 but it was still delicious 😋😋😋I'm happy to keep it up!!

Great ambience, excellent food with great wine accompaniment and unusual aperitifs and the service was excellent. You can feel how much fun and attention to detail they have in pampering their guests and immerse themselves in a culinary break, which I can only recommend 😊

Exactly the right location to have a stylish lunch with the family according to the occasion (Christmas Day). Service extremely friendly and accommodating. Gladly again if the opportunity arises.

Diese Lokalität ist wunderbar. Das Essen schmeckt vorzüglich und das Ambiente lädt zum verweilen ein. Der Service am Tisch ist ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend. Leider spürt man die Fäden die im Hintergrund gezogen werden. Wir haben uns nicht "Willkommen" gefühlt. Wenn man als Gast erscheint, der vielleicht auf den ersten Eindruck nicht in das Ambiente zu passen scheint (am Nachmittag in sportlicher Fahrradbekleidung), wird man am Tisch nett bedient, aber man darf sich nicht den gewünschten Tisch aussuchen. bzw die Servicekraft wird beim nachgehen unseres Wunsches danach zurechtgewiesen. Hingegen aber am Abend im schicken Zwirn, einem der Himmel auf Erden serviert wird.

Ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant mit hochwertigen und köstlichen Speisen, auserlesenen Weinen und freundlichem Serive. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und die Gastgeber Familie Reinhardt sind darauf bedacht, den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem zu machen. Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch. Absolut zu empfehlen, wenn es mal kein "normales" Restaurant sein soll.

Ein absolutes Muß für jemanden der auf höhstem Niveau seinen Hunger stillen möchte. Wir haben hier zu zweit einen unvergessenen Nachmittag mit den besten Schweine Medaillons die wir je gegessen haben verbracht. Wir können deshalb nur empfehlen es selber mal auszuprobieren 🍽🫶😉

Weniger Sterne sind nicht angebracht. Sehr schönes Anbiente und Einrichtung. Wir waren wirklich viel zu früh da, wurden aber sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten nie das Gefühl das wir "nur" ein Gast von vielen sind. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer freundlich und natürlich, sie meinten es einfach so. Das finde ich so toll. Großes Lob. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Jedes Gericht ein eigenständiges und einfach mal etwas anderes. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöner Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Restaurant ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Modern und trotzdem gemütlich. Das Essen kam warm auf den Tisch und hat auch geschmeckt.

Wir haben heute an einem Montag das Restaurant besucht. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Essen war richtig lecker, die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für meine Eltern 91 und 89 war der Besuch in dem Restaurant ein schöner Abschluß eines schönen Tages. Vielen Dank
