I came from Münster to eat here, he has been there several times and after today's visit I can definitely recommend it. The store is full and there is a queue to order, especially on Saturdays, but we waited less than 10 minutes and got straight to it. Unfortunately I only discovered it on the last day of my vacation. It's definitely one - if not the best Dürüm kebab I've ever eaten! Flatbreads and Dürüm are baked in-house!

Freshly baked bread, crunchy, juicy salad, homemade sauces and of course high-quality skewers! Every bite promises an interesting and exciting ratio of the individual ingredients and triggers a firework of flavors in the mouth, which is really a rarity with conventional kebabs. But nothing is conventional here! The boss himself stands behind the counter almost around the clock and reads your wishes from your lips. Together with his wife and a few employees (who are indispensable during the usual Sturm und Drang phases), Baba's Kitchen forms a familiar and very competent team. The service leaves little to be desired. This shop also sets standards in terms of quality, whether lahmacun, dürüm or kebab, the bread or flatbread is prepared in front of you and baked in the oven. Overall, the boss attaches great importance to craftsmanship, so it's incredibly fun to try out the really extensive menu from top to bottom. Here's another poorly kept secret: The falafel are of course also made by hand and in a Falafel Dürüm they develop an incredibly round and pleasant taste, so veggies also get their money's worth here! The BEST kebab shop in Schleswig-Holstein! Who am I to say something like that? During my extensive research on the topic of kebab in Northern Germany (SH), there was hardly a hotspot for kebab lovers that I left unvisited. From Lübeck via Norderstedt, Kiel and Neumünster, to just outside Flensburg, I looked for my personal favorite. I found it in Schönberg! I am now a permanent member of the customer base and continue to receive outstanding feedback on my recommendations. WARNING: Feelings of happiness can be addictive. Accordingly also here: CLEAR RECOMMENDATION!

It was my first time eating at Baba's with my wife. The kebab/ kebab plate was absolutely delicious. The fries were just a dream. Crispy, hot and perfectly seasoned. The staff was very friendly and very polite. The prices are not overpriced. Cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant are simply top notch. If you want to have a delicious meal, this restaurant is more than worth recommending.

It's a kebab shop where you can also sit down. The side dishes such as the bulgur salad and the large selection compared to other kebabs are very positive. If you need something quick, then you've come to the right place.

Very large portions and very tasty

Today there were 4 of us eating in Baba's kitchen. There was 1 vegetarian main course each for the daughter and me (falafel and feta schnitzel) and 1 Baba's plate each for the husband and son. The portions are good, the salad is fresh and the meat is very tasty. The selection of sauces is excellent. The rice and couscous are also recommended. We will come back again on this vacation. Good price/performance ratio!

Really the best restaurant in town. All the dishes here are exorbitantly good. There's no other way to say it. Whether kebab or dürüm, whether on the plate in the house or “to go”. Everything here is done with the same amount of love. My personal recommendation!

Biggest surprise in the holiday resort - very tasty kebab, great sauces, good pizza and, above all, always friendly guys behind the counter (especially a real “Baba”)! And the best “special pide” you can get 5 minutes before the end of the day…;-)

The ambience definitely invites you to have a cozy meal. The food was tasty, unfortunately the portions were sometimes not justified by the price! But what is not possible in my opinion is the unfriendly manner. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars.

The very best Dürüm of my life! The flatbreads are freshly baked, the sauces are super delicious! There are so many vegetarian options too! Babagannus, homemade falafel and delicious hummus. . Wow

Four of us visited for lunch today while on vacation and the food is simply outstanding - a real taste explosion. Food is freshly prepared in the stone oven, salad is very fresh and the cocktail sauce is also highly recommended. All in all: absolute recommendation!!!

Went here with 5 people. Food was good and the selection was very large. Everyone will find something here. The selection of drinks is ok, but unfortunately only non-alcoholic beer - yes, you can do without it, but that would have been nice.

There are delicious kebabs here with homemade flatbreads. I can only recommend.

Definitely the best kebab and the best pizza in Schönberg. The other services such as Coastal Hatch and Spds should learn a lesson from the gentlemen. We'd love to come back.

My friend Ani and I arrived at Babas Kitchen hungry and looking forward to a delicious plate of kebab. Without paying attention to the opening times, we carried our hungry bodies into the store and wanted to order. Although the skewers were already empty and some things had already been cleaned, the super friendly boss conjured up a large plate of kebab and a pizza for us. Our rescue ! Thank you very much… it was by far the best kebab plate in years! The pizza is also really addictive 🤤 Many greetings from Kassel!

We had been eating in "other" kebab shops in Schönberg for a long time and today, through a recommendation and a coincidence, we went to BABA'S KITCHEN for the first time. The location is awesome and super mega. Unbelievable: fries made from fresh potatoes, homemade sauces, great. We come specifically from Laboe because there is no good kebab shop in Laboe. BABA'S shines with a great ambience, super friendly service and great food at a low price. This makes eating out fun again. What's particularly great is that as a guest you don't have to endure any animals whining or yapping at you. THAT is now standard in restaurants in Germany, which is one reason why many people no longer go to restaurants to eat. I spontaneously ordered 2 large pizzas. The ordering and pickup went smoothly and very friendly! The pizzas themselves were very tasty. The thick, bulky edge bothered me. If you want a Neapolitan pizza style, the base has to be wafer-thin and the edge has to be very airy. Otherwise, I recommend wasting less dough and making the edge much thinner. Then you can enjoy it too. He is actually very massive! Unfortunately I can't manage to try the kebab anymore. I'm sure I'm missing something nice here!🥹

The food is becoming more and more expensive and in return even less expensive. Dürüm 8€ and hardly anything in it. Diameter is 5-6 cm. Elsewhere they are just under 10cm for €6.50. Normal kebab costs €7 and is as big as a children's kebab.

Today we ate at Baba's for the third time on our vacation. We were always greeted warmly and served quickly. There was even a little fun and a nice conversation. The food is damn tasty, the meat, the grilled vegetables, the freshly made bread and the selection of sauces… Oh yes, the fries are A1. Everything shows quality. Overall, highly recommended. The owners are very friendly. The store is clean and the toilet was also completely hygienic. The best thing is the food on offer. The kebab is optionally offered with fried Mediterranean vegetables in addition to the normal topping (Berlin style). I really enjoyed the kebab and for €8.50 (large kebab), the price was completely reasonable as it was really big. The bread is also homemade and extremely good.

The highlight of the day! Today we were in this snack bar for the first time. We were greeted like regular guests. The employees were very friendly and humorous. The food was a real pleasure and the fries were a straight A! The vegetables are well fried, the couscous is delicately seasoned. The falafel is crispy. The sauces are well portioned. This much is certain: this snack bar will be our guest very often!

We are here from Bonn for vacation and have rarely eaten such a good kebab. Doner box plates also plentiful. Service is very accommodating, the food is prepared with love.

We visited the restaurant and were pleased that it offers kebabs. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our visit as the service was extremely unfriendly. The chef preparing the meal was sweating and touching his face so I had to ask him to wash his hands. Even though we were hungry and had no other options in the area, we decided to eat here. The restaurant was self-service, which was fine for us, but the tone of the staff was very unfriendly. While the dishes were being prepared they were annoyed when we were seated and the young man, presumably the owner, was annoyed that he had to keep asking us what we would like to order. We were also annoyed and left cutlery and plates on the table. Even then he didn't even wish us a good day and apparently expected us to clear the table ourselves. I will never visit this restaurant again even if I starve.

The meat and side dishes and especially the pizza rolls were great! The waitresses are super friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who is on vacation nearby and wants to eat a delicious kebab! One of the best I've ever eaten! Kind regards Summerjam

Simply DELICIOUS!!! I ate 3 different dishes within a few days and all 3 were GREAT! (BABAS Falafel Dürüm, Dürüm Doner and BABAS Burger) You can taste that it is made with love. Everything homemade, fresh and DELICIOUS! The bread is freshly baked in the pizza oven before preparation. Homemade falafel. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! 😋 I will definitely go there again. Unfortunately I haven't been here long enough, otherwise I would really try everything on the menu. So, if you are in Schönberg, it is a must to eat at BABAS.

The store could definitely get 4-5 stars. Unfortunately, by 7:30 p.m. there is usually no salad, rice, cucumbers, etc. left. Nothing has ever been recut. If that had happened once it wouldn't be a problem, I was there 5 times and couldn't get a kebab plate with rice once and had to switch to kebab (without salad) every time.. if you could manage that, mashallah

So what can I say? As a native of Berlin, I'm used to good kebab, but I've been disappointed more than once in Schleswig-Holstein. But BABA'S KITCHEN more than surprised me. I would even say that it was the best kebab plate of my life. The homemade sauces, the perfect meat, the portion size - everything was perfect. Five stars, thanks for that ;)

Too expensive for what you get. The innkeepers were very upset when we questioned the price: 2 small burgers, 2 small fries, 2 x small bowls of mayonnaise and 1 small bottle of Schwipschwap - 20.50 euros -!!!

Couscous salad fresh and light. Döner plate lovingly prepared and more than plentiful. Pizza poultry freshly baked and absolutely delicious!

We were here for the first time, very nice staff, everything was clean and tidy, the great thing, apart from the incredibly good taste of our large kebab, is the fact that everything is made here ourselves. Fresh homemade bread, fresh salad, homemade sauces etc... We come from Flensburg and we have never had a kebab in Flensburg that tastes so good. If you are here and fancy a kebab, we strongly recommend that you go here and enjoy the food. We will come back.

We have a food channel on Tik Tok and thought we would try and promote Baba's kebab. Before we do that, however, I wanted to test it first. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations, so I was able to save myself the journey of my TikTok colleague. So I wouldn't want to rate the meat. The bread is homemade and tastes good, but a bit too soft for me. The salads were fresh and delicious as were the sauces that finally made the kebab edible.

But the chef, who is always there, is quite unfriendly to the other employees and sometimes to guests. And the woman gets really folded sometimes. The portions are relatively small for the prices. For a fast food joint, which it is and remains, quite overpriced. And it’s still not possible to pay by card… how can that be? We are in 2023, a pandemic in which we were taught to pay without cash where possible, and EC devices are now super cheap! This is absurd for tourists who only have access to EC machines in the area for a high fee unless they happen to be a customer at the local bank. The pizzas have plenty of toppings but after baking they are wobbly, soft, soggy and greasy. So it's more of an American pizza than anything else, even though it seems to be baked on stone(?). Burgers are generally quite good, but there is usually way too much sauce on them so that everything just runs down and becomes soggy. I was hoping that things would get better over time and that the criticism would be addressed, but nope. On the contrary. It's more likely to collapse the card and throw good employees out. Dumb.

Super toller Döner ,Brot schmeckt bombastisch ,alles so schön frisch und lecker ,viel Auswahl an Beilagen,wir waren sehr begeistert und können den Döner dort nur empfehlen!!! Preise sind spitze ,dafür das es verschiedene Größen gibt und auch Kinder den kleinen Döner super schaffen können !

Ganz schlecht finde ich, dass man nicht mit Karte zahlen kann. Das ist wirklich oldschool. Döner war ok aber nicht herausragend.

Im Umkreis von 120km, der beste Dönerladen den es gibt. Saftiges Fleisch, sehr guter Teig und die Soßen schmecken auch nicht wie 0815. Würde jedes mal wieder da hin gehen. Den Rest im Umkreis kann man vergessen.

Sehr freundlich, sehr schnell, sehr lecker, sehr empfehlenswert. Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und vor allem wird man satt.

Sehr guter Döner der hier serviert wird. Die vielen verschiedenen Saucen sind einfach der Hammer und sehr lecker.

Wir waren letztens ein paar Tage in Schönberg. Wir waren dann auch zwei mal bei Baba. Das Personal ist super nett und das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Pizza ist super. Beim Döner wird sogar das Brot frisch im Ofen gemacht. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen!

Leider zu spät an Fotos gedacht, aber die Teller sprechen für sich. Ein Imbiss mit Abholung und auch vor Ort Plätzen. Einfach aber passend eingerichtet. Sehr sauber (auch der WC Bereich), sehr sehr 😋 lecker, ausgesprochen freundlich und schnell. Dazu eine super Auswahl mit und ohne Fleisch, vom Döner über Pizza bis zum Burger. Für schnelle Mahlzeiten sehr zu Empfehlen.
