Anno 1779 in Schönberg (Holstein)

This was our first time here. At first, nothing on the menu appealed to me, so the waitress gave me very competent advice. The food was delicious! Beautifully presented and very creative. The beer garden had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Overall, highly recommended!

What a pleasant surprise this delightful restaurant is! A feast for the eyes, both in terms of presentation and quality of the food. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

I celebrated my birthday at Anno 1779 on Friday, June 20, 2025! I received excellent advice during the planning of the celebration for 25 people! I accepted Mr. Passick's menu suggestion; he selected some excellent dishes! My guests were thrilled with the location and the service! It was an unforgettable celebration! Many thanks to the Passick family and the team; we'll be back!

We went there for dinner with the family and were unfortunately disappointed. The food was beautifully presented, but the flavor wasn't impressive. However, the prices were quite high. The meat was good, but the side dishes were rather uninspired and boring. The service was nice, but could have been a bit faster. I ordered another drink before the starter and didn't get it until I'd finished my starter. With two servers and six tables occupied, that's hardly a great service. You can skip the visit; I know of better places in the area.

The food was very good and of high quality. Small works of art were conjured up on the plates. In terms of quantity, the prices could have been a bit higher compared to other restaurants. I also wished they'd asked me how I'd like my steak. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with the very friendly service. Despite having pre-ordered meals for 11 people, we waited almost an hour for the food. I was absolutely disappointed by the so-called raspberry tiramisu. Unlike all the other dishes, it was served unspectacularly in a bowl and seemed rather improvised. What is a sponge cake in tiramisu was a small piece of the same blondie as in the other dessert. What would actually be mascarpone crème tasted like spoonful after spoonful of plain cream being shovelled into your mouth. There's also no children's menu here. But families are probably not the target clientele. Which isn't a bad thing. My conclusion: nice for a fancy meal for two, absolutely unsuitable for families.

Simply perfect. Small menu, super motivated staff in service, friendly, courteous, attentive, the list could go on forever. We felt like we were in great hands! Depending on the temperature you can also sit outside. Please continue like this. And who in the kitchen conjures up such delicious dishes? Simply fantastic!!

A little insider tip for me. I had breakfast here twice and also enjoyed very good food in the evening. The staff, including the kitchen staff, were very warm and attentive. I haven't experienced that in a long time. The prices are absolutely reasonable! A wonderful experience, and I'll definitely be back!

A really great little restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, the food is both delicious and eye-catching. The only downside is that if you're really hungry, this place won't fill you up; the portions are simply too small, but it's still a great place 🥰

We were already very curious about the restaurant after reading the truly rave reviews. The bar was set high, and as so often, we expected anything. What should I write? It won in all categories. The ambiance was chic and cozy. The service was not only competent but also extremely friendly and, above all, authentic. And the food – yes, it was truly surprising. I love it when taste leads me down new paths. When combinations of ingredients don't immediately seem typical, when unnecessary herbs on overly decorated plates obscure the view of what's important. Here, everything was perfect, and I mean REALLY perfect. A dining experience. And the greetings from the kitchen are still on the tip of my tongue. Thank you for this evening, and from me, you would have your first Michelin star. By the way, the owners also pay attention to regionality and seasonality, which is an added bonus in these times. Unfortunately, my pictures don't quite capture the colorful splendor of the food this time. I'm posting them anyway.

Friendly service and delicious food in a quiet atmosphere (winter)

We had dinner there in the evening on December 28th, 2024. The service is good and the appearance on the plate is good. Unfortunately, the parsley root under the three-piece rump steak was almost cold and the meat was lukewarm, although the potatoes were at least hot. It is also recommended to take a starter as the portions of meat are very small but of good quality. The onion cake was very tasty and well prepared.

Fantastic! A small but very fine menu, a well-kept atmosphere with pleasant background music, very nice service and excellent cuisine. Thank you for the great stay and once again a special compliment to the excellent kitchen, which prepares perfect dishes with heart, wonderful.

Even from the outside you can feel that Anno 1779 is something very special. The very friendly service and the nice atmosphere inside complete the picture. The menu is clear. You can see that the kitchen doesn't focus on quantity but rather on quality. You notice this when the food is presented. The tartare is reminiscent of a small garden and tastes simply fantastic. For the main course you could choose between 3 meat and 3 fish dishes. Here too we were impressed by the quality but also the quantity. What's still missing is a star or a wooden spoon. But that will definitely come soon. We'll definitely come back.

My recommendation! We had beef and pike perch fillet. Both were absolutely outstanding! The good wine rounded it off. Service was also very good, we were warmly welcomed for dinner 20 minutes before the kitchen closed. This is not a given everywhere! Please just replace the chair gliders, they are unpleasantly loud.

We were there to eat scampi. They tasted good, but were actually more like Arctic shrimp.

We went to brunch at Christmas at anno.soooo delicious, soooo friendly service and a great ambience. All the dishes are somehow special, so boring schnitzel with fries is not on the menu. I don't even know how to describe it. Just go there and see for yourself. It's really great

We visited this unusual restaurant several times and at different times of the year. You won't find the dishes that are otherwise obligatory in the area such as burgers, schnitzel or even currywurst here. In return you get a clear menu with unusual ideas from regional cuisine. In this way, old, traditional recipes are brought up to date with a lot of creativity. The menu changes frequently, so you shouldn't commit to a dish in advance that isn't available at that time. You will be able to cope with it because you can really taste how much joy the chef takes in his creations. First-class restaurant with reasonable prices.

Gehobene Küche und das wirklich sehr sehr lecker! Tolles Essen und schönes Lokal mit gemütlichen Außenbereich. Service auch sehr freundlich und kompetent. Dass es so ein schönes Lokal mit wirklich guten Essen in Holm gibt, ist wunderbar! Für Kinder gibt's im Garten auch einen kleinen Spielplatz.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, am Wochenende in diesem Restaurant gewesen zu sein, und ich bin sehr begeistert. Das Ambiente war im Landhausstil eingerichtet und schuf eine angenehme und einladende Atmosphäre. Das Essen hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Jedes Gericht war geschmacklich wirklich sensationell. Was diesen Abend jedoch wirklich unvergesslich gemacht hat, war der exzellente Service, den ich erfahren durfte. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und stets bereit, alle unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie das Personal immer auf Zack war. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich sehr empfehlen – sei es für eine besondere Feier oder einfach nur, um sich kulinarisch verwöhnen zu lassen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen unvergesslichen Abend! Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Eine durchweg positive Erfahrung. Die Speisen wurden sowohl in Präsentation und Service als auch auf der wichtigsten Ebene des Geschmacks auf höchstem Niveau dargeboten. Das ganze zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Auch der Gruß aus der Küche, zu Beginn sowie zum Abschluss waren ein absolut bemerkenswertes Geschmackserlebnis.

Nettes Ambiente, aber die Speisekarte ist sehr klein. Es werden nur jeweils nur wenige Fleisch bzw. Fischgerichte angeboten. Preislich im hohen Bereich.

Sehr gutes Essen hat aber seinem Preis

Wir wissen gar nicht, warum wir dort nicht schon eher mal hingefahren sind. Es war von der Begrüßung, über den Gruß aus der Küche bis hin zum Dessert alles Spitzenmäßig. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend. Es gab einmal Nordseekrabben mit gebeiztem Sellerie und Wildkräutersud, einmal Welsfilet auf Kirschtomate mit Oliven Kartoffelstampf und Salbei und den Gruß aus der Küche etwas mit "Zucchini"

Wir haben vor kurzem unsere Hochzeit im Anno 1779 gefeiert. Es war eine unvergessliche Feier! Wir haben uns bei Marjana und Fynn von Anfang an sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt!:) Das Buffet war wirklich umfangreich und sehr lecker! Es wurden alle unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt und wir haben uns auch bei der Auswahl sehr gut beraten gefühlt. Auch beim Mitternachtsbuffet wurden unsere Ideen umgesetzt. Die Bewirtung am Abend war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war ein rundem perfekter Tag. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder so machen😊

Eine ganz feine Speisekarte mit kreativ angerichteten Speisen. Sehr, sehr lecker. Empfehlenswert ist auch der Nachtisch.

Wir waren im Urlaub gleich zwei Mal hier essen. Wir haben ohne Reservierung beide Male einen Tisch im Biergarten bekommen. Das Ambiente ist schön gemütlich und auch für die Kinder gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz mit Rutsche und Schaukeln. Das Personal und die Chefin sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es wurde mehrere Male nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und auch auf spezielle Wünsche geht die Küche gerne ein (Kinder Menü konnte individuell gestaltet werden). Vorweg gab es einen Gruß aus der Küche. Das Essen ist mit Liebe hergerichtet und traumhaft verziert. Preis/Leistung sind vollkommen gerechtfertigt.

Regionale Küche vom feinsten. Perfekter Gruß aus der Küche.Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit genügend Parkplätzen. Im Sommer sitzt man wie im Biergarten draußen. Unbedingt vorher reservieren und die Öffnungszeiten beachten. Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis total okay. Wir kommen wieder.

Am Pfingstsonntag meinen Geburtstag mit 30 Familienmitgliedern nachgefeiert. Hervorragender Service, sensationelles leckeres Essen in hoher Qualität. Sehr gute Weine in der Auswahl. Mit der entspannt freundlichen Bedienung ist nicht nur das Essen ein schönes Erlebnis. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal im Anno 1779 !
