BABA MIA - THE ART OF KEBAB in Hannover

I am a queer, migrant person and expect respect – even when ordering through TooGoodToGo. Instead, I was humiliated in front of everyone and accused of having "caused trouble before" simply because I didn't want to eat meat. Afterwards, they even insulted me in another language – assuming I wouldn't understand. In the end, they made me a new, vegetarian portion, but the way I was treated before that was simply not acceptable. I waited almost 20 minutes while others were given priority. If you don't ask ToGoodToGo customers what they're eating, that's not my fault. The food may be good, but the way I was treated was disrespectful and hurtful. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe and will not go there again.

Really delicious kebabs, lots of options, and plenty for vegetarians too. The owner is super friendly! A definite recommendation! For me, the best kebab in Hanover.

Very friendly, I ordered a to good to go, and they gave me a lot. They didn't give me less because you ordered a discount blind box. It was great.

Under average kebab place too expensive for that. Food is ok and you will get full from it but kebab doesn't have enough sauce and vegan seitan is just salty and not flavoured. Design is nice but the service and food are unfortunately lacking. Service was sadly hard to understand and maybe was new. Food was ok, nothing special, vegan Kebab had too less sauce and cheese fries are not really with cheese so it is an inappropriate name. Seitan for vegan kebab is not really seasoned just with salt so it is too salty.

We stopped here during a long road trip and ate outside. Glad we did, the vegan kebabs were really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful :) great experience.

Germany's best "classic" kebab, both for meat lovers and by far the best for vegetarians/vegans! The selection is very large, the price-performance ratio is excellent, everything is fresh and clean, and the service is also great. The best sauce is the hot sauce, but the others are also really good. Highly recommended!

*Edit: Today I ate a vegan kebab for the first time in 30 years, and I can hardly say it, BUT, you can't tell that the bread isn't meat, but seitan. It's incredibly delicious and fresh; I think I'll always order the vegan version from now on. The absolute best kebab in Hanover! Very innovative, cool decor, and incredibly friendly staff. We'd love to come back and highly recommend Baba Mia to any kebab fan!

A very stylish shop with + clear menu + friendly staff + decent value If you're hungry, want delicious food, and expect decent service, you should go there. I was really surprised by how I was welcomed. The boss greeted me very friendly with a smile and asked how I was doing. The kebab was really tasty and the salad was fresh. Highly recommended.

The vegan kebab at Baba Mia is simply fantastic. We don't even need to talk about the vegan avocado sauce, it's simply fantastic! Something new compared to all the standard sauces at other kebab shops. Super delicious, everything fresh, and I was super full. I really have to mention the kebab vendor (who is a bit more stable)—he was incredibly nice, funny, and very quick. It was a good laugh with him. The shop is clean, and the atmosphere is very modern. Keep up the good work.

The vegan kebab is good, but the seitan could be a little spicier and especially a little more crunch would be good. As a vegan sauce there is avocado and hot sauce. The bread is very tasty and crispy.

Never eaten such a bad durum. Sauce too runny with no taste of its own, hot sauce tasteless and not remotely spicy. Seitan tasted like everything except kebab. Really very disappointing. Not only because the food arrived cold - but also with "raw" Dürum flatbread. Not warmed up or toasted again after rolling, it was limp and sticky and really not nice to eat, especially because there was more flatbread than content. The vegan options looked very promising, which made the whole experience all the more disappointing. Unfortunately, the sauces were not transparently declared as to whether they were vegan or not, which was a shame. All in all an interesting concept, but I wouldn't order from them again, too expensive for the quality.

That was a baba kebab. I was super hungry after a hard day at university. I hadn't eaten or drunk anything all day, so I was extremely hungry. I saw that a fellow student had eaten a kebab in front of the tutorial, so I decided to get one too. After the tutorial I went and ordered a kebab with mixed meat, salads and sauces. I didn't have the highest expectations, but the store exceeds itself. The staff is extremely customer friendly and the food was extremely fresh and very good. After the meal I had a good chat and was given a sweet treat on the way. So the service and food is very good. The ambience is appropriate for a kebab shop, but not very special.

The kebab really tasted excellent. As soon as you open the aluminum foil, a pleasant citrus scent exudes, which immediately makes you want more. At the beginning, the kebab shop impressed with its exceptional quality and incomparable taste - it quickly became my favorite restaurant in the city center. The freshness of the ingredients and the artisanal preparation made it the first choice for a long time. Unfortunately, the quality deteriorated noticeably over time, which left me increasingly disappointed. In addition to the decline in taste, there were increasing communication difficulties and errors were made with almost every order. This marred the overall experience considerably and ultimately left me dissatisfied. If the store manages to restore its initial excellence and improve service, it would undoubtedly be worth recommending without reservation. At the moment, however, disappointment predominates.

Super tasty, we had 1 kebab plate and 1x the vegan version. It was also very nice that there was a bowl of water for our dog upon request!

If you are in Hanover and really want a good kebab, then I can only recommend this shop. Whether vegan, vegetarian or even with meat. Only recently discovered and ordered 3 times within a week. So far the best kebab in Hanover, meat is evenly distributed in the kebab and the quantity is also mega good. There were a little few fries in one order compared to the previous time. It would be great if the amount was the same every time and didn't vary so much. Guys, seriously now. This shop has by far the tastiest vegan kebab I've ever eaten. Seitan kebab, delicious sauces from herbs to avocado, everything is included, normal flatbread, which is completely sufficient. I took a vegan kebab with herb sauce and spicy paste + sheep's cheese and I would do it again and again! Give it a try!

One or two kebab shops in Hanover should take a leaf out of this one. Qualitatively above the standard of the whole of Hanover. My girlfriend and I were very positively surprised by the food and she opted for the vegan versions and was just as enthusiastic. Keep it up giving the chain :)

Just ate the standard kebab here: everything fresh and generous, meat sliced ​​well and thinly. Unfortunately it wasn't crispy at all, but still very light. It's just not that tasty. The skewers are definitely not self-made, but rather from the factory. That's why the name "The Art of Kebab" is completely exaggerated. Ambiance is relaxed and nice. Service great. This kebab shop is the best I know in Hanover, because it feels like all the kebab shops in Hanover have the same sauces and here they have different sauces than the others. The employees are also very nice and polite.

Ordered today via Lieferando. My packaging (doner kebab plate) with the seitan kebab contained less than my friend who ordered meat. I also didn't have the sauce I ordered, which can happen sometimes, but if you only have ketchup at home... I also didn't really like the taste of the Seitan Kebab, as I've eaten better in Hanover.
