We went there for the first time to eat. It was a small but nice restaurant. The staff were friendly and served us very quickly. The food was perfect. We will definitely come back.

We had a doner kebab and a dürüm there. Pros: - Meat tastes good - Prepared quickly - Long opening hours Cons: - Very little salad at the dürüm (I'm used to it differently) - First mistake in the salad despite expressing a salad preference - Very wild (but OK, probably to be expected for a place near the main train station) Overall, a good dürüm if you're looking for something to eat late at night. However, if you want salad, I'd recommend a doner kebab rather than a dürüm (unfortunately).

A döner could only be this good.

Very friendly staff and delicious kebabs. The shop is a bit small, but we still managed to find a seat. And, of course, the extra portion of fries also gets a special shoutout.

The bread isn't warmed. You order it with cheese, but there's hardly any cheese in it. Generally, there's relatively little in it, so it's never worth the price. The taste is okay. Service is terrible, due to the points mentioned above, they don't warm the bread and barely fill the kebab. The atmosphere is small but nice. Overall, I'll never go back, so it stays at one star.

It was tasty, but it was the smallest kebab I've ever eaten. I ate two and I'm still hungry. One kebab costs a whopping €8.20 and is only half the size of any other kebab in Germany. Not good.

Hi everyone, I was just in the shop for the first time and it was just horrible, the last shit that has nothing to do with kebab, cold meat doesn't taste good and something like that is overpriced at 8.50 for a kebab of this class it's just laughable the shop won't last long and the staff can't carry out your order it doesn't contain what you ordered just laughable

I ordered a kebab box and was really disappointed. Apart from the fact that the employees were unfriendly, the sauce tasted so greasy and didn't meet my expectations at all. The meat was soggy and the fries were also far too greasy. There are definitely better shops in Hanover.

Very tasty, but unfortunately a large part of the salad was garnished with carrots. Not ideal for allergy sufferers.

Went to the new opening in the Hannover List today and wanted to test the kebab. The only thing that was good was the bread, the kebab was of poor quality and a can of Fanta for €2.75, the sauces were just a mix of mayonnaise, the salad was ok.

The kebab is definitely quite good, the sauces are delicious and the meat is not skimpy. However, I think €8.50 is decent, the portions were sufficient, but not generous. The red cabbage wasn't my thing (too sour), but you can leave it out. What's definitely not so cool: the tables and chairs are all smeared by the guests in front of them.

One of the worst kebabs I have eaten so far in my life €8.5 for a kebab where the meat simply tastes nothing, the bread tastes completely old, there is no choice of sauces or salad here, I would not recommend eating here, it is simply the biggest failure, this shop will never again be home to the worst kebab in Hanover

The store is very small and the seating is not that good. The kebab was very good, the veal was juicy and delicious, the bread was on point

The kebab has deteriorated so much, there is hardly any meat in it, you can actually call it a “vegetable kebab” and for €8.90-€8.50 it is really a failure

I still think the price of the kebab is a bit too expensive for that, so I would deduct three-quarters of a star for that, but the kebab tastes so great, so full marks, you can change the price a bit.

Overall, a very tasty and well-filled doner kebab (doner wrap). The salad is fresh, and the doner meat is obviously of good quality. The staff is also nice and friendly, and the shop is well-maintained. The only drawback is the price of €8.50 for a doner wrap. It's only partially appropriate for the size and at least €1.50 too high. This doesn't justify the downtown location. However, compared to some other centrally located doner kebab shops, the food is, as described, very tasty!

The kebab is average. The bread is deliciously crispy, but unfortunately the meat is not used. The sauces taste bland. The kebab is not worth €8.50 and is not worth the hype. What I find absolutely worrying, however, is the way tourists are treated. On March 18, 2025, around 9:45 p.m., a group of Italian tourists were there and wanted to order in English. The group's order was rejected and the employees basically said “German is spoken in Germany”. I would avoid this store because of the circumstances mentioned!

We ate there for the first time at the weekend. The ambience wasn't particularly inviting, especially the niche in the corner, which probably couldn't be solved in any other way structurally. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty, but €14 for a kebab plate without a drink is, in my opinion, a steep price. The chicken meat was convincing in terms of taste, while the veal was disappointing in both consistency and taste - it seemed more like roast meat than real meat.

Really delicious, best kebab in Hanover

Ate in the store around lunchtime on Sunday. We were served in a friendly manner and the kebab (1x veal and 1x falafel) tasted very good, BUT DO NOT TAKE THE SPICY SAUCE if you can only handle moderately spicy food. It caused us a lot of problems, but it was still delicious.

I ordered via UberEats, food arrived on time and even warm. I ordered a big doner kebab, which despite everything has little meat in it, I don't even want to know what a normal kebab looks like. Several small pieces of bone were also found. The sauces had zero taste. For the price you have a better selection.

House of what please? Doner kebab is not on the menu. Just sandwiches. On the packaging paper it says again: “Your kebab” Aha! So rotisserie meat and not kebab! The whole thing for a whopping €8.50. The taste is average at best. Wishes are heard but then ignored. When asked, the answer is sloppy. I'm definitely not coming back! I can't understand the good reviews.

I was at the kebab house with my 6-year-old daughter and we had a frightening experience that stayed with us for a long time. An employee attempted to attack a customer with a knife simply because the customer pointed out to the employee that he had ordered first - but the employee had let three other customers go ahead. The behavior was completely inappropriate and frightening. My daughter was in great shock and was still talking about the incident hours later. I too was terrified that the situation would escalate. It is absolutely unacceptable for something like this to happen in a restaurant. That was our first and last experience in this store. I definitely won't come back and can only strongly advise against going there.

We were there last night and finally wanted to try the kebab here. Unfortunately, at exactly that time there was a conflict between employees and a customer. It went so far that the customer was even attacked. One of the employees tried to get the kebab knife and tried to attack the customer with it. I've never experienced anything like that before. Of course we lost our hunger.

So what I experienced there yesterday was like a nightmare. My wife and I wanted to get a kebab in a relaxed manner. When we suddenly noticed that it was getting louder around us, we realized that one of the employees wanted to attack a CUSTOMER with a knife. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Therefore, I absolutely cannot recommend this store. I've always enjoyed eating there but that's about to change after my experience yesterday!

I ordered two kebab bags today and was waiting for the order to be processed. Unfortunately that took a while. New customers came who ordered the same thing and were preferred. I then complained to the employees. But they were unreasonable and blamed me. Apparently I did it wrong, but I'm a regular customer and know exactly where to stand. In addition, the customer who was in front of me in line was also served. I then communicated this to the employees. But they became increasingly unfriendly and louder. One of the employees then offered to make the kebabs for me now, but I declined due to the long waiting time. I also told the employees that I would give them a bad rating for the way they dealt with customers. The situation then escalated and one of the employees came up to me, pushed me out of the store and told me I would stab you and asked his colleague to give him the knife. When they didn't respond, he tried to jump over the counter and get the knife. The other customers and colleagues had to step in because the employee, who they called “Aydin,” could no longer calm down. He was determined to get the knife to stab me. Customers and employees even had to stop him several times. Finally the camel's back overflowed and I called the police. A complaint of threats was filed.

Super tasty kebab but absolutely disrespectful employees. I've eaten here several times and every time I beg for a tip. With every order the cashier says I'll leave a euro as a tip and if you say no you'll get picked on, which is a shame and disrespectful. So I won't come back

Simply fantastic! We tried the kebabs at Haus des Döner in Hanover with friends and I have to say it was a real taste experience. The quality and taste were excellent. The employees were very friendly, attentive and always in a good mood. We really liked it. Keep it up and good luck!

Far too expensive for a kebab & a kebab box that aren't special or taste good. There were too few side dishes and the kebab didn't taste fresh. Doner box without fries and just a sauce. This is simply ridiculous & pure nonsense. I expected more and was disappointed.

An absolute disappointment. How the 4.6 stars came about is a mystery to our group of friends. Doner costs €8. One of the most expensive in all of Hanover. I expect a premium kebab for that. The top half of my kebab was just salad. I paid 50% of my kebab for salad with bread. Super! Bread not at all crispy. Super soft and everyone's kebab fell apart. Absolute mess. Meat on the skewer looked anything but good. I've seen better skewers from many kebab men. Shop only has three sauces available. Virtually every kebab shop in Hanover has more choice. The only positive. My doner salad was fresh. We will never go there again in our lives. 8€ just rubbish. These reviews are either fake or people are blown away by the wildly exaggerated price.
