Highly recommended! The Haus des Döners in Hanover impresses across the board. The meat is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and fresh off the spit. The sauces are homemade and perfectly complement the flavor – the garlic sauce is a particular highlight! The bread is also crispy and fluffy, which makes the kebab truly special. The staff is friendly, quick, and always cheerful. Even at peak times, you get your food quickly and with consistently high quality. The price-performance ratio is excellent – you'll be full and get really good quality for your money. For me, this is the first address when it comes to kebabs in Hanover. I'll definitely be back!

I haven't had such a delicious kebab in a long time, just wow! The workers were all very nice, too.

The portion was very small, and he even put things on my plate that I didn't want. He also preferred his friends' orders to mine, just because they were his friends.

In the center, just go down the stairs on the left and you'll see it. It's quite good, plentiful, and comes with a variety of sauces, bread, or döner kebabs. Seating is limited, though. It's best to go in small groups.

The döner kebabs were excellent, first of all, they were very full, the wrap was full of döner kebab, but the bread was incredibly filling, there was plenty of meat, and your order arrives in 2 minutes at most because you choose it yourself.

The food is delicious, and you can sit back and relax. The drinks are very cold.

It was the best kebab I've ever eaten. We returned at 10:00 a.m. to grab something to eat before our return trip from Hanover. The staff were very polite, friendly, and generous. I will definitely be back.

The meat itself is really good. Unfortunately, the order was incomplete the second time. (A week ago, the kebab plate was missing fries and sauces.) Today, the kebab plate was missing sauces, and the kebab box had very little sauce and no salad at all.

Pros: - Meat tastes good - Prepared quickly - Long opening hours Cons: - Very little salad at the dürüm (I'm used to it differently) - First mistake in the salad despite expressing a salad preference - Very wild (but OK, probably to be expected for a place near the main train station) Overall, a good dürüm if you're looking for something to eat late at night. However, if you want salad, I'd recommend a doner kebab rather than a dürüm (unfortunately).

The bread isn't warmed. You order it with cheese, but there's hardly any cheese in it. Generally, there's relatively little in it, so it's never worth the price. The taste is okay. Service is terrible, due to the points mentioned above, they don't warm the bread and barely fill the kebab. The atmosphere is small but nice. Overall, I'll never go back, so it stays at one star.

It was tasty, but it was the smallest kebab I've ever eaten. I ate two and I'm still hungry. One kebab costs a whopping €8.20 and is only half the size of any other kebab in Germany. Not good.

I ordered a kebab box and was really disappointed. Apart from the fact that the employees were unfriendly, the sauce tasted so greasy and didn't meet my expectations at all. The meat was soggy and the fries were also far too greasy. There are definitely better shops in Hanover.

Went to the new opening in the Hannover List today and wanted to test the kebab. The only thing that was good was the bread, the kebab was of poor quality and a can of Fanta for €2.75, the sauces were just a mix of mayonnaise, the salad was ok.

The kebab is definitely quite good, the sauces are delicious and the meat is not skimpy. However, I think €8.50 is decent, the portions were sufficient, but not generous. The red cabbage wasn't my thing (too sour), but you can leave it out. What's definitely not so cool: the tables and chairs are all smeared by the guests in front of them.

Dürum 9 euros and very little meat

One of the worst kebabs I have eaten so far in my life €8.5 for a kebab where the meat simply tastes nothing, the bread tastes completely old, there is no choice of sauces or salad here, I would not recommend eating here, it is simply the biggest failure, this shop will never again be home to the worst kebab in Hanover

If you’re in town for Hanover Messe, avoid this place. They charged me €16 for a Doner Sandwich.

The store is very small and the seating is not that good. The kebab was very good, the veal was juicy and delicious, the bread was on point

I still think the price of the kebab is a bit too expensive for that, so I would deduct three-quarters of a star for that, but the kebab tastes so great, so full marks, you can change the price a bit.

Overall, a very tasty and well-filled doner kebab (doner wrap). The salad is fresh, and the doner meat is obviously of good quality. The staff is also nice and friendly, and the shop is well-maintained. The only drawback is the price of €8.50 for a doner wrap. It's only partially appropriate for the size and at least €1.50 too high. This doesn't justify the downtown location. However, compared to some other centrally located doner kebab shops, the food is, as described, very tasty!

The kebab is average. The bread is deliciously crispy, but unfortunately the meat is not used. The sauces taste bland. The kebab is not worth €8.50 and is not worth the hype. What I find absolutely worrying, however, is the way tourists are treated. On March 18, 2025, around 9:45 p.m., a group of Italian tourists were there and wanted to order in English. The group's order was rejected and the employees basically said “German is spoken in Germany”. I would avoid this store because of the circumstances mentioned!

We ate there for the first time at the weekend. The ambience wasn't particularly inviting, especially the niche in the corner, which probably couldn't be solved in any other way structurally. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty, but €14 for a kebab plate without a drink is, in my opinion, a steep price. The chicken meat was convincing in terms of taste, while the veal was disappointing in both consistency and taste - it seemed more like roast meat than real meat.

I ordered via UberEats, food arrived on time and even warm. I ordered a big doner kebab, which despite everything has little meat in it, I don't even want to know what a normal kebab looks like. Several small pieces of bone were also found. The sauces had zero taste. For the price you have a better selection.

Ate in the store around lunchtime on Sunday. We were served in a friendly manner and the kebab (1x veal and 1x falafel) tasted very good, BUT DO NOT TAKE THE SPICY SAUCE if you can only handle moderately spicy food. It caused us a lot of problems, but it was still delicious.

The employees on site are super nice and chatty! Ordered for delivery for the first time today and here too: the taste of the kebab roll is a 10/10. no errors in the order and it arrived super quickly! Top!

House of what please? Doner kebab is not on the menu. Just sandwiches. On the packaging paper it says again: “Your kebab” Aha! So rotisserie meat and not kebab! The whole thing for a whopping €8.50. The taste is average at best. Wishes are heard but then ignored. When asked, the answer is sloppy. I'm definitely not coming back! I can't understand the good reviews.
