Haus des Döners in Hannover

Ate in the store around lunchtime on Sunday. We were served in a friendly manner and the kebab (1x veal and 1x falafel) tasted very good, BUT DO NOT TAKE THE SPICY SAUCE if you can only handle moderately spicy food. It caused us a lot of problems, but it was still delicious.

The meat and garlic sauce were great.

I ordered via UberEats, food arrived on time and even warm. I ordered a big doner kebab, which despite everything has little meat in it, I don't even want to know what a normal kebab looks like. Several small pieces of bone were also found. The sauces had zero taste. For the price you have a better selection.

The employees on site are super nice and chatty! Ordered for delivery for the first time today and here too: the taste of the kebab roll is a 10/10. no errors in the order and it arrived super quickly! Top!

We ordered via Uber Eats and were very satisfied. The kebab plate and the wrap tasted great. Definitely one of the best kebabs in Hanover.

House of what please? Doner kebab is not on the menu. Just sandwiches. On the packaging paper it says again: “Your kebab” Aha! So rotisserie meat and not kebab! The whole thing for a whopping €8.50. The taste is average at best. Wishes are heard but then ignored. When asked, the answer is sloppy. I'm definitely not coming back! I can't understand the good reviews.

I was there today. Cleanliness was lacking and the staff showed poor behavior.

We were there last night and finally wanted to try the kebab here. Unfortunately, at exactly that time there was a conflict between employees and a customer. It went so far that the customer was even attacked. One of the employees tried to get the kebab knife and tried to attack the customer with it. I've never experienced anything like that before. Of course we lost our hunger.

So what I experienced there yesterday was like a nightmare. My wife and I wanted to get a kebab in a relaxed manner. When we suddenly noticed that it was getting louder around us, we realized that one of the employees wanted to attack a CUSTOMER with a knife. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Therefore, I absolutely cannot recommend this store. I've always enjoyed eating there but that's about to change after my experience yesterday!

I was at the kebab house with my 6-year-old daughter and we had a frightening experience that stayed with us for a long time. An employee attempted to attack a customer with a knife simply because the customer pointed out to the employee that he had ordered first - but the employee had let three other customers go ahead. The behavior was completely inappropriate and frightening. My daughter was in great shock and was still talking about the incident hours later. I too was terrified that the situation would escalate. It is absolutely unacceptable for something like this to happen in a restaurant. That was our first and last experience in this store. I definitely won't come back and can only strongly advise against going there.

I ordered two kebab bags today and was waiting for the order to be processed. Unfortunately that took a while. New customers came who ordered the same thing and were preferred. I then complained to the employees. But they were unreasonable and blamed me. Apparently I did it wrong, but I'm a regular customer and know exactly where to stand. In addition, the customer who was in front of me in line was also served. I then communicated this to the employees. But they became increasingly unfriendly and louder. One of the employees then offered to make the kebabs for me now, but I declined due to the long waiting time. I also told the employees that I would give them a bad rating for the way they dealt with customers. The situation then escalated and one of the employees came up to me, pushed me out of the store and told me I would stab you and asked his colleague to give him the knife. When they didn't respond, he tried to jump over the counter and get the knife. The other customers and colleagues had to step in because the employee, who they called “Aydin,” could no longer calm down. He was determined to get the knife to stab me. Customers and employees even had to stop him several times. Finally the camel's back overflowed and I called the police. A complaint of threats was filed.

Super tasty kebab but absolutely disrespectful employees. I've eaten here several times and every time I beg for a tip. With every order the cashier says I'll leave a euro as a tip and if you say no you'll get picked on, which is a shame and disrespectful. So I won't come back

Simply fantastic! We tried the kebabs at Haus des Döner in Hanover with friends and I have to say it was a real taste experience. The quality and taste were excellent. The employees were very friendly, attentive and always in a good mood. We really liked it. Keep it up and good luck!

Far too expensive for a kebab & a kebab box that aren't special or taste good. There were too few side dishes and the kebab didn't taste fresh. Doner box without fries and just a sauce. This is simply ridiculous & pure nonsense. I expected more and was disappointed.

I ordered a chicken kebab.. because according to the reviews it should be good.. I can't understand it.. tasteless and dry.. no pizzazz.. you can eat it but I wouldn't recommend it

An absolute disappointment. How the 4.6 stars came about is a mystery to our group of friends. Doner costs €8. One of the most expensive in all of Hanover. I expect a premium kebab for that. The top half of my kebab was just salad. I paid 50% of my kebab for salad with bread. Super! Bread not at all crispy. Super soft and everyone's kebab fell apart. Absolute mess. Meat on the skewer looked anything but good. I've seen better skewers from many kebab men. Shop only has three sauces available. Virtually every kebab shop in Hanover has more choice. The only positive. My doner salad was fresh. We will never go there again in our lives. 8€ just rubbish. These reviews are either fake or people are blown away by the wildly exaggerated price.

Juicy prices (€8.50 for a kebab bag), but the taste is really phenomenal. Delicious bread, fresh ingredients, and the meat definitely tastes much better than at most kebab shops. Definitely worth recommending!

I've been eating kebab for decades now and it was the best there. Great bread (even with sesame), great meat and not too much but not too little either. The price is also satisfactory. All around great! 👍🏼

Pommbox with chicken, garlic and herb sauce was good.

One of the best kebabs I've eaten! The bread is large, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauces are very tasty. Meat in good quantity and also very tasty! Great price. You get a really big kebab here. Gladly again!

So what some people write here is complete nonsense, the shop doesn't invite you to eat, there are municipal garbage cans meters in front of the door that smell like dead rats, and the ambience inside doesn't invite you to eat. There are no seats and only about 3 square meters of dining area to stand. The kebab was edible but I'm writing this review because I have severe stomach cramps and diarrhea and it's pissing me off again that I have food poisoning. The Doner kebab was the only thing I ate yesterday.

It's ok in terms of taste, a solid 4/10 meat from Berlin no matter what's in it. Bread is dry, the worst thing is you always get a stomach ache and diarrhea, I gave it a chance twice and both were the same

I thought my kebab was unusually good and was well filled with everything. Just find it a bit expensive. I also think it's a bit of a shame that you can't sit down very well with them, but otherwise the stable kebab is definitely recommended 👍🏽

Employees unfriendly and aggressive

I was recently at the new opening in Hannover Am Steintor and ate what was supposed to be a “doner kebab” for 2 euros. Shortly afterwards I got Margen's intestines and was knocked out for days. I can't recommend the shop to anyone, I would pay the 7 euros not to eat the kebab! The good reviews are all fake people believe me..

I had a great dining experience at Haus des Döner in Hanover! The kebab dishes, prepared with special spices and fresh ingredients, are truly delicious. The portions are very generous and the prices are fair. The staff is extremely friendly and offers quick service. The interior of the restaurant is modern and clean, making you feel very comfortable there. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious kebab in Hanover!

After enjoying 8 delicious döners, every single one of them couldn’t stop expressing how much they loved the food and how happy it made them feel. We got Dürüms to take away here. The preparation was very quick and you had the finished meal in your hand within a very short time. This was certainly also due to the 4 employees and 2 kebab machines. The prices (9.50 for a kebab roll) are very steep. The Dürüm was tasty, but not €9.50 - delicious...it wasn't particularly big or had a lot of meat. I won't necessarily come here again.

I was there again today and pass on my complete satisfaction and recommendation. The kebab with the hot pepper paste is a hit!
