Azzurro Pizzeria & Bar in Paderborn

Two terrible pizzas for €25 to take away. They were actually 25 cm in diameter—not quite cooked through—the crust was too thick. Disaster!

I ate out, so I can't and won't review the service and ambience here. I had Tris Pasta. I've rarely had such bad pasta. The spaghetti Bolognese didn't deserve the name. Very bad pre-made sauce, not fresh pasta. The tortellini with crappy cream, rigatoni with tomato sauce, was like Miracoli. The 20cm tuna pizza was 17!!!! cm. That's 15% less than I paid for. The dough for the pizza rolls was old and smelled and tasted of alcohol from being left standing for too long. The yeast process takes 5! days. At the takeaway around the corner, that wouldn't be great, but it's okay. But Azzurro is a restaurant. This is simply a bottomless cheek!

A truly great restaurant where we always enjoy coming back. Very friendly and attentive service. Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. What more could you want? Definitely worth a try.

We love going to Pizzeria Azzuro; the owners are very welcoming, always cater to customer requests, and the pizzas are delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and it's always busy. The price-performance ratio is excellent.

Last time there today. Totally overpriced, pasta with supposed scampi, even though it's just shrimp and then for €13, really unbelievable. The menu should be changed here and not lure guests with false statements. I don't think people here even know the difference between prawns, scampi and shrimps!!! We prefer to go back to a trusted Italian restaurant and get what is stated on the menu! Many friends with the prices with the profit that is generated!!!

The pizza was delicious, but the salad was really bad, completely tasteless and small.

A hely családias, hangulatos. Az ételek megfelelő mennyiségüek, szépen dekorálva. Viszont sokat kell várni mire elkészülnek. Az ár normál.

Unverständlich,daß man bei einer Großbestellung von 24 Gerichten, nicht in der Lage ist, diese sichtbar zu nummerieren, damit jeder sein Gericht findet und nicht noch raten muß, welches seines ist.

Super nette Inhaber! Am Wochenende sollte man Tisch reservieren! Waren zu dritt ohne Reservierung da, haben aber gerne gewartet! Essen ist sehr lecker! Preise sind für die heutige angemessen! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall öfters!

UPDATE: Seit dem 01.01.2023 wurden die Preise deutlich angehoben. Damit sind die Preise jetzt mit anderen Restaurants vergleichbar, allerdings hat das Azzuro keinen Pizza-Ofen und verwendet Schnitzel (16€) aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Damit passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht mehr. Sehr schade! Wenigstens schleichen sich jetzt auf der Rechnung keine Fehler mehr ein. Das war vorher ganz oft der Fall. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schönes Ambiente. Vor allem die Pizza ist zu empfehlen. Leider wird jedes Mal (!) wenn wir da sind, zu viel berechnet. Deshalb sollte man unbedingt einen Blick auf den Bon werfen.

Habe die Gemüse Pizza (Vegetarisch )bestellt noch mit Sonderwunsch das das Gemüse vorher angebraten wird . Vielen Dank an den Koch das mein Wunsch umgesetzt wurde . Super leckere Pizza und super Pizzateig. Macht weiter so. Und die Mädels die bedienen super freundlich und nett.

Kann ich leider nicht mehr empfehlen. Die Rigatoni Vegi, die laut Speisekarte Zucchini, Auberginen und Champignons enthalten sollten, beinhalteten leider nur Auberginen, die dann auch noch sehr grob geschnitten waren und somit unappetitlich wirkten. Von Champignons und Zucchini war leider nichts zu finden. Für so etwas dann noch 9,- Euro zu verlangen ist einfach nur unverschämt. Beim nächsten Mal essen wir woanders.

Decor very nice, friendly service. Pizza was reasonably good. spaghetti Bolognese has unfortunately no taste, odd. there was a mixup in our order, we got the wrong pizza. all in all, not bad given the price but don't know if I'd return

Korrektur: Preise erheblich angehoben. Z.B.: Ein kleiner Thunfischsalat nun 6,50€ mit nur noch 2 Pizzabrötchen. Zu teuer! Also werden wir uns nun umorientieren. Schade. Meistens holen wir dort Gerichte und wurden bisher nicht enttäuscht. Die Pizzen sind genau unser Geschmack. Dieses Mal dort ein Cordon Bleu mit Pommes gegessen. Sehr lecker, satt geworden, der Preis stimmt und die Betreiber waren sehr gastfreundlich. Bin sehr zufrieden.
