Ich schreibe diese Bewertung, um den unfairen, verleumderischen Rezensionen entgegenzuwirken. Viele Leute hassen dieses Restaurant einfach nur, weil es israelisch ist. Kommentare wie „Nennt es beim Namen: palästinensisches Essen“ oder noch Schlimmeres. Ihre politischen Ansichten haben in einer Restaurantbewertung nichts zu suchen. Außerdem: Die meisten 1-Stern-Bewertungen ohne Kommentar stammen von Accounts mit arabischen Namen. Wahrscheinlich waren sie noch nie dort. Bildet euch eure eigene Meinung. Ich persönlich werde dieses Restaurant besuchen, wenn meine Eltern mich demnächst besuchen.

Wirklich tolles palästinensisches Essen! ✨

Charmantes Restaurant, Essen ist raffiniert und richtig lecker. Service ist wunderbar sympathisch.

Wir waren dort zum Brunch und bestellten den Sabbich-Teller. Leider mussten wir ziemlich lange auf unser Essen warten, obwohl mehrere Köche in der Küche zu sehen waren und das Restaurant nicht voll war. Der Kaffee war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Leider konnte das Essen da nicht mithalten. Der Hummus war okay, aber nichts Besonderes; er hätte definitiv mehr Salz, Zitrone und viel mehr Olivenöl vertragen. Die Aubergine war auch nur mittelmäßig. Die eingelegten Gurken hingegen haben mir gut geschmeckt. Die Eier waren leider verkocht und trocken. Man merkt, dass sich die Küche Mühe gibt, aber die Speisekarte braucht noch dringend eine Überarbeitung. Insgesamt leider nur mittelmäßig.

Für 20 Personen vorbestellt, für die Mittagspause eines Trainings-Events. Dann kam das Essen nach und nach, die letzten Kolleginnen haben das Essen nach über 2 Stunden erhalten. Vollkatastrophe

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, wahnsinnig guten Essen und auch richtig gute Cocktails. Ich empfehle den Grapefruit Margarita!

Aviv hat bereits zwei Feiern für uns ausgerichtet – unsere Hochzeit und den ersten Geburtstag unserer Tochter. Beide Male war das Essen hervorragend und wurde von allen Gästen gelobt. Die Organisation und der Service waren makellos, sodass wir uns am Tag der Feier um nichts kümmern mussten. Wir sind Stammgäste bei Aviv und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir haben das Lokal über eine andere Tour kennen gelernt und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Die angebotenen Köstlichkeiten machen Lust auf mehr. Ich habe Euch schon weiter empfohlen :-)

Lange Wartezeiten und viel zu überteuert für die kleinen Vogelportionen. Unabhängig davon töten genau solche Läden unseren Kiez. Und hier noch die Antwort auf die Reaktion des Inhabers: „Außergewöhnlich busy“ ist eine elegante Umschreibung für organisatorisches Versagen, das man dann im Nachhinein als Heldengeschichte verkauft. Dass das Team „alles gegeben“ hat, mag stimmen – nur ändert das nichts daran, dass beim Gast schlicht nichts ankam. Die Berufung auf 5,5 Jahre Kiez-Zugehörigkeit wirkt dabei besonders bemüht, wenn man parallel einen Weinladen nebenan hochzieht, der preislich und vom Konzept her so viel mit Nachbarschaft zu tun hat wie ein SUV mit Verkehrsberuhigung. Wer den Kiez wirklich versteht, braucht solche PR-Sätze nicht. Und diese Bitte um „respektvollen Ton“ ist der übliche rhetorische Trick: Inhaltlich kommt wenig, also verschiebt man die Debatte auf die Form. Die Aussage, man würde den Kiez „killen“, passt euch nicht – nachvollziehbar. Aber sie einfach als unpassend abzutun, ersetzt keine Auseinandersetzung mit dem, was daran kritisiert wird. Unterm Strich bleibt: viel wohlformulierte heiße Luft, wenig Substanz. Wer ernsthaft etwas auf den Kiez gibt, zeigt das nicht in Stellungnahmen, sondern im tatsächlichen Handeln.

Ein echtes Highlight! Ich kann das Trout und die Masabacha wärmstens empfehlen. Meine Kollegen und ich waren absolut begeistert von diesem Restaurant

Ein bezauberndes Restaurant mit exzellentem Service und köstlichem Essen. Jedes Gericht ist elegant angerichtet, und die levantinische Küche wird hier auf ein ganz neues Niveau gehoben. Ein absolutes Muss! 💕

Das Essen war lecker, allerdings hat mir bei allem der Pfiff gefehlt. Vor allen die shakshuka fand ich eher langweilig. Außerdem sollte bei Gerichten, die man mit Brot dippt, das Brot nicht zusätzlich kosten. Was mich tatsächlich gestört hat, war der Service. Unsere Bedienung war maßlos überfordert. Auf mein erstes Getränk und bis ich etwas zu essen bestellen konnte, habe ich fast 40 Minuten gewartet. Danach ging es ein wenig flotter, aber auch nur, wenn man bei der anderen Bedinung bestellt hat (die, das muss ich auf jeden Fall betonen, freundlich und auch sehr schnell war - nur deswegen gibt es hier den zweiten Stern) Das Ambiente fand ich zudem sehr eng. Für Sharing Plates sind die Tische extrem klein. Ich war zudem angekündigt mit meinem Hund da und hätte mich über einen ruhigen Tisch in der Ecke gefreut, wurde aber mittig zwischen zwei anderen Tischen platziert.

Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und es werden ausschließlich hochwertige Zutaten verwendet. Der Service war perfekt, die Mitarbeiter super freundlich. Vegane Optionen sind verfügbar. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Mitten in Rixdorf gibt es einen Ort. Ein unscheinbares, gemütliches kleines Lokal, das ganz unaufdringlich das beste israelische Essen der Gegend serviert. Von Tel Aviv über New York bis hin zu dieser geschichtsträchtigen Hauptstadt habe ich mehr Sabich-Sandwiches gegessen, mehr Pitabrote in Hummus getunkt und mehr perfekt eingelegte Gurken genascht als der Durchschnittsverbraucher… Und Aviv enttäuscht mich nie. Danke, dass du ein Juwel in der Nachbarschaft bist. Danke für die Vision, eine so klassische und doch verspielte Speisekarte zu kreieren und umzusetzen. Danke an alle, die dort arbeiten und ihre Gäste wie alte Freunde behandeln. ❤️❤️❤️ Roma

Ich war heute spontan mit einem Freund dort zum Mittag essen und wir beide waren begeistert von dieser Oase der Kulinarik und der stilvollen Einrichtung. Der Besuch hat mich an meine besten Zeiten in Tel Aviv erinnert. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

The food is delicious, but we still haven't received our food after 45 minutes at lunchtime (!!).

We held our private party at AVIV030 and were absolutely thrilled. From our initial contact to the very end, everything went perfectly. Communication beforehand was incredibly pleasant and clear, and a huge thank you goes to Josefine, who provided such friendly and reliable support throughout the planning process. The food was fantastic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was also attentive and warm, making the day perfect for us and our guests. We can wholeheartedly recommend AVIV030 to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with great food and a fantastic team. Thank you for this unforgettable day!

I've been there several times now and I've always enjoyed it. The food is simply incredibly delicious and they also have a great selection of wines. In the summer, it's especially lovely to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere.

We arrived today (three adults, a toddler, and a baby) right on time at 12 noon at opening time. Although we were the first customers, we had to wait about ten minutes for the menus. When I went to ask the waiter for them, he reacted rudely and simply said he would bring them right away. We also had to repeatedly call for attention when ordering – the service simply didn't come. When we finally ordered at around 12:35 p.m., we were told the kitchen wasn't ready and the food would take about 30 minutes – without any apology. That's obviously difficult with a hungry toddler. When we asked if the restaurant wouldn't open at 12 noon, the only response was, "It's not my fault." We asked if at least something small for the child could come earlier. Shortly thereafter, all the dishes suddenly arrived at the same time – except for the kebab. It was supposed to be ready "in ten minutes," but didn't arrive for another 30 minutes, again without any apology. Unfortunately, things didn't get any better when changing our baby: There's no changing table, and when I asked where I could change my baby, I was directed to a dark, cramped restroom. When I asked if I could change my baby in the empty seating area instead, I was rudely declined – on the grounds that it might disturb other guests. This felt very disrespectful, especially towards families. Overall, a very unpleasant visit. The unfriendly tone and lack of service completely ruined our stay – a shame, because the restaurant actually made a good impression at first glance.

Broccolini and baba ganoush were super tasty

If you love Levantine food, this place is an absolute gem. Nothing here feels mass-produced — every dish tastes freshly prepared, and you can really tell. The hummus is simply outstanding: smooth, flavorful, and served with all the care it deserves. The menu offers unique flavors you won’t find everywhere, paired with fantastic cocktails and drinks that perfectly match the food. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Not sure what happened to this place…we used to LOVE it but at our recent visits it was definitely lacking staff and the lemonades which we have ordered many times before were straight up undrinkable. Very very unfortunate, but would no longer recommend Aviv.

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit – service left a lot to be desired. The restaurant's concept sounded promising, but unfortunately, the visit fell short of expectations. The service was inattentive and/or understaffed: An explicit request to serve an ingredient separately due to an allergy was ignored – an absolute no-go. The drinks were initially forgotten and then arrived with a significant delay; the food also took a long time to arrive and was only lukewarm when served. For the prices quoted, the overall package was disappointing. It's a shame; there's still plenty of room for improvement.

Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't particularly cozy or even pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive, but everything took a while. The food was creative (the "burnt artichoke" is definitely worth trying!), but overall, it wasn't convincing.

Leckeres Essen, auffällig angenehmes Publikum, geduldige Bedienung. Zum Wohlfühlen! Ausnahme: leisere und mehr charakteristische Musik wäre gut.

We came here for dinner and really loved our drinks to start. We ordered the hummus, nori eggplant, artichoke, broccolini and both types of bread. The hummus was fine but not memorable. The eggplant was quite fishy and the artichoke was pickled and had a smokey flavour. We weren’t a fan of either. The broccolini dish came about 20 min. after we finished our meal and only after prompting our server who reminded the kitchen. He showed my friend he had rung it in. There were only two servers for the whole place and it was busy inside and out. The other server, possibly the manager or owner was unfriendly and constantly telling our lovely server what to do. It was a bit uncomfortable and stressful. I wouldn’t go again or recommend it.

Absolutely best lunch and dinner place in Neukölln

Short menu with great options, makes it easy to decide and if in a group to really try the whole menu. The hummus is amazing, but needs more bread than it comes with. The coconut negroni is just amazing.

Dinner at Aviv030 was really great! The restaurant is beautifully decorated (specially the cool bathroom!), the service was excellent, and the food was quite tasty! The drinks were also quite good. That said, I was a bit let down by the one I ordered: a banana syrup and mezcal cocktail. The mezcal ended up overpowering the more delicate banana notes, throwing off the balance for me. Prices are a bit on the higher side and, while the experience was very enjoyable, I’m not entirely sure the cost matched the overall value. Still, it’s a great spot for a nice night with friends, out for a splurge!

It's a small, crowded place but we found a place to sit. Then we tried hummus, mushroom, and shakshouka. Hummus is probably the usual taste, but after eating mushroom with parmesan and then shakshouka, you won't eat anything else to keep this taste in your mouth. The taste was rare 🫠🫠

We were there with the team and they had set up especially for us so that we could be undisturbed. Unreservedly recommended. Great restaurant, very good food, very friendly staff.

We were really looking forward to the visit. Unfortunately 3 dishes were not available. Unfortunately, we didn't respond to questions about whether we could have one of the lunch dishes - a shame, because the selection was very limited and it would have been a nice gesture. A free drink was advertised on Instagram (if you say you're from KMO), but it's probably only available at lunchtime. It's a shame, because this isn't communicated that way either.

I really wanted to like this place. I’ve passed by it so many times living in Rixdorf and regrettably I was disappointed. The Shakshuka lacked any robust flavour or spice, the tomatoes overwhelmed by the hummus, but it was also served in a chipped bowl. Any restauranteur would know that’s a health hazard, but instead the waiter defended it by saying ‘yea but it’s ceramic’. Happy to direct them to the local IKEA to replace them.. But as prices increase across Berlin, the standard and flavour of food and service has got to also improve, especially as there is so much more competition now within the area.

The two of us were there spontaneously on Friday evening and got a nice seat by the window. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious and inspiring. Great combinations and everything designed to be shared. We'd love to come back!

Worst hummus ever. Also the guy was really rude

Gleich vorab: die Speisen sind überragend gut! Der Rest spiegelt leider absolut nicht die Qualität wieder. Der Reihe nach: wir kamen ins Restaurant, weil wir zu einer Veranstaltung in der Nähe wollten. Als wir das -leere- Restaurant betraten gab es nicht etwa einen freundlichen Gruß, sondern die emotionslose Anfrage ob wir denn „reserviert hätten“. Als wir uns an einen Tisch setzten, wies uns der etwas maulfaule Kellner darauf hin, dass der Tisch zu 20:00 wieder reserviert sei. Die Karte ist sehr übersichtlich, mit den bekannten Klassikern der israelischen Küche. Wir staunten etwas über die Preise, die doch recht üppig kalkuliert sind, hofften daher auf ebenso üppige Portionen. Die Auberginen - Verschwörung war wirklich sehr gut….aber nicht mehr als eine kleine Vorspeise. Die dafür berechneten 18€ sind eine Frechheit. Die verkohlte Artischocke mit Püree war ebenfalls sehr gut, aber auch nicht mehr als ein kleines Hors d‘Ouvre, die mit 13€ aber preislich angenehm im Rahmen blieb. Die geröstete Spitzpaprika war genauso gut wie die anderen Speisen, von der Portion her etwas größer und mit 17€ genauso teuer. Es gibt keinen Grund, warum Brot in anderen Lokalen (auch in Israel)nicht berechnet wird, hier aber extra berechnet wird. Das Ambiente ähnelt leider einer ungemütlichen Bahnhofshalle, das Geschirr ist angeschlagen, die Gegend (Neukölln) nichts zum Vorzeigen, mit viel Müll auf den Bürgersteigen und dubiosem Publikum. Der einzige Kellner ist nicht sehr redselig. Als mildernde Umstände lassen wir gelten, dass er das ganze Restaurant alleine bedienen musste. Deswegen kamen die Speisen mit langen Pausen hintereinander, und nicht, wie von uns gewünscht, zusammen. Positiv unterstreichen möchten wir den Preis von 4€ für eine Literkaraffe Sprudel. Angenehm abseits der überteuerten San Pellegrino Abzocke. Der Aperitiv war zwar auch recht klein, aber auch gut. Fazit: Wenn die Qualität gleich bleibt, die Portionen größer und das Personal aufgestockt wird kommen wir gerne wieder. Für knapp 70€ hungrig das Restaurant zu verlassen geht nicht.

One of my fav restaurants in the city. The food is great: original flavor combinations with good bread on the side. The service is fast, casual, and friendly and therefore we felt very welcome. The smoked artichoke stays my favourite!

We were in the restaurant shortly after 4 yesterday. There were probably 4 waiters on site but we were told straight away that we could only have a drink because the kitchen was already closed. The menu explicitly states that the kitchen is open until 5 p.m. Therefore, to me unequivocally...

It was an overall lovely evening in the restaurant. There were four of us, we got advice and chose five different dishes. It was good that the dishes were served one after the other with explanations, so you could enjoy the delicious dishes even better. Salad with roasted sheep's cheese was great. White wine was very limited and could not be controlled due to the lack of a calibration mark. Billing, as is often the case elsewhere, as an interim receipt or “this is not an invoice”. I only noticed it outside with glasses. Now I'm not surprised why I couldn't pay with a card or why the device wasn't working. It's a shame, it leaves a bitter aftertaste.

The food tastes very good, even if I find it absolutely outdated to serve tuna - even sliced ​​very thinly. The shop is an average hipster restaurant of the kind you can find hundreds of in Neukölln. Rather uncomfortable and loud atmosphere included. As we entered, the waitress directed us to come to her. Service should work the other way around. The other waiter was quite nice, but also rather flippant and unmotivated. Waiting time was okay. In general, you feel like you're being treated condescendingly by the service staff. This feeling solidifies in the answers that Aviv sometimes gives to bad reviews. When it comes to prices, I strongly recommend professionalizing the service. I won't be returning - there are so many great restaurants where I'm happy to spend the same money (but tends to spend less) for delicious food and courteous service.

I used to really liked this place, however today we had an uncomfortable experience there. when we went there for lunch, the aubergine egg and potato of the sabich tasted old (maybe leftovers from yesterday) and the food was generally very carelessly arranged. I politely gave feedback to the waiter as we were leaving, ofc things like this can happen. He responded dismissively, didn’t apologise etc. I was disappointed by the poor quality of the food but mostly by the rude response. Ofc not everything can always be perfect but treating your customers rudely when politely giving feedback isn’t ok

The service was very friendly and introduced us to the dishes well. Unfortunately we found the food to be rather mediocre. It's also a bit annoying that you only get a small slice of bread for the price. Any additional costs must be paid dearly.

I simply love this place and feel very happy to have it in the neighborhood. It's really a staple if you want some fresh and delicious food. The drink menu is also wonderful. And if any questions remain, staff is usually happy to help. I enjoy coming back every single time.

I haven't eaten food this good in a long time! You can tell the good quality and everything we ordered was very well prepared and well seasoned. Although I don't really like eggplant, I liked it the first time in one of the dishes. Everything tasted great and the staff was very friendly :)

We came for fun to try another Israeli restaurant in town and voila, we were disappointed. High prices for quite small portions and not very authentic.. What we thought was baba ganoush arrived as an eggplant with mozzarella and tuna flakes on it.. at second glance, it was written on the menu, but I admit that I stopped reading after seeing that the dish was called baba ganoush.. needless to say, there was not a drop of tahini in the dish... no one explained or warned us what it was that it.. The service was mediocre. They didn't check if we were okay or if we needed anything else.. dirty napkins remained on the table until we got up.. I read more comments here now that described the restaurant as a typical hipster Israeli restaurant (and not in a good way) and it's really sad to hear that this is the name that goes to Israeli restaurants like that, because we all know how amazing and special Israeli food is... and how many good Israeli restaurants there are in this city. We really wanted to love but unfortunately we were disappointed.

It was a totally wonderful pleasure getting to know Aviv and we are already looking forward to the next visit! Their challah bread is out of this world! What really impressed us was the quality of all the dishes. The food was without question of the highest standard. Next door is Lobby 030 where we have been a few times for wonderful wine and aperitivo. A lovingly designed wine bar with a modern and excellent wine selection. The bar has a totally unique atmosphere and a relaxed character with inspiring music curated by Pascha. He is also the perfect host who takes the time to get to know the customers. That's the only reason why it's worth visiting Lobby 030. Start at Lobby. Eating in Aviv. Or the other way around. Anyway, a perfect evening.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and you can also sit outside very nicely, as you are in the beautiful, almost village-like part of Neukölln. The quality and taste of the food was very good. The drinks were also well chilled and delicious. The service was friendly. Unfortunately the portions are too small for the price. The fact that you only get all the dishes you order one after the other is also not helpful. Sharing is common practice in Mediterranean-Levant cuisine, but you get everything at the same time and not one after the other. You can then try the dishes together and experiment with the flavors. This is obviously a logistical problem for the restaurant. Conclusion: you can do it, but it's not a must. PS: the owners would do well not to comment on the balanced guest reviews in such a lecture-like manner as one sometimes reads here. If there are deficits and the guest is already making the effort to reflect on the evening, then as a restaurateur you should work on them and not accuse the guest of a lack of understanding.

The food is really tasty, but the price-performance ratio isn't quite right. Unfortunately the service wasn't good at all. Despite reservations, we waited over an hour for the food, drinks were only available after 30 minutes, despite the restaurant not being completely full. Everything seemed very unstructured...
