Salad with roasted sheep's cheese was great. White wine was very limited and could not be controlled due to the lack of a calibration mark. Billing, as is often the case elsewhere, as an interim receipt or “this is not an invoice”. I only noticed it outside with glasses. Now I'm not surprised why I couldn't pay with a card or why the device wasn't working. It's a shame, it leaves a bitter aftertaste.

A restaurant centered around hummus and Sabich and it’s absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed the friendly service and chill ambiance.

The food tastes very good, even if I find it absolutely outdated to serve tuna - even sliced ​​very thinly. Unfortunately, the portions have become smaller and smaller over the years (now extremely small), but they have also become more and more expensive. The shop is an average hipster restaurant of the kind you can find hundreds of in Neukölln. Rather uncomfortable and loud atmosphere included. As we entered, the waitress directed us to come to her. Service should work the other way around. The other waiter was quite nice, but also rather flippant and unmotivated. Waiting time was okay. In general, you feel like you're being treated condescendingly by the service staff. This feeling solidifies in the answers that Aviv sometimes gives to bad reviews. When it comes to prices, I strongly recommend professionalizing the service. I won't be returning - there are so many great restaurants where I'm happy to spend the same money (but tends to spend less) for delicious food and courteous service.

I used to really liked this place, however today we had an uncomfortable experience there. when we went there for lunch, the aubergine egg and potato of the sabich tasted old (maybe leftovers from yesterday) and the food was generally very carelessly arranged. I politely gave feedback to the waiter as we were leaving, ofc things like this can happen. He responded dismissively, didn’t apologise etc. I was disappointed by the poor quality of the food but mostly by the rude response. Ofc not everything can always be perfect but treating your customers rudely when politely giving feedback isn’t ok

The service was very friendly and introduced us to the dishes well. Unfortunately we found the food to be rather mediocre. It's also a bit annoying that you only get a small slice of bread for the price. Any additional costs must be paid dearly.

I simply love this place and feel very happy to have it in the neighborhood. It's really a staple if you want some fresh and delicious food. The drink menu is also wonderful. And if any questions remain, staff is usually happy to help. I enjoy coming back every single time.

We came for fun to try another Israeli restaurant in town and voila, we were disappointed. High prices for quite small portions and not very authentic.. What we thought was baba ganoush arrived as an eggplant with mozzarella and tuna flakes on it.. at second glance, it was written on the menu, but I admit that I stopped reading after seeing that the dish was called baba ganoush.. needless to say, there was not a drop of tahini in the dish... no one explained or warned us what it was that it.. The service was mediocre. They didn't check if we were okay or if we needed anything else.. dirty napkins remained on the table until we got up.. I read more comments here now that described the restaurant as a typical hipster Israeli restaurant (and not in a good way) and it's really sad to hear that this is the name that goes to Israeli restaurants like that, because we all know how amazing and special Israeli food is... and how many good Israeli restaurants there are in this city. We really wanted to love but unfortunately we were disappointed.

I haven't eaten food this good in a long time! You can tell the good quality and everything we ordered was very well prepared and well seasoned. Although I don't really like eggplant, I liked it the first time in one of the dishes. Everything tasted great and the staff was very friendly :)

It was a totally wonderful pleasure getting to know Aviv and we are already looking forward to the next visit! Their challah bread is out of this world! What really impressed us was the quality of all the dishes. The food was without question of the highest standard. Next door is Lobby 030 where we have been a few times for wonderful wine and aperitivo. A lovingly designed wine bar with a modern and excellent wine selection. The bar has a totally unique atmosphere and a relaxed character with inspiring music curated by Pascha. He is also the perfect host who takes the time to get to know the customers. That's the only reason why it's worth visiting Lobby 030. Start at Lobby. Eating in Aviv. Or the other way around. Anyway, a perfect evening.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and you can also sit outside very nicely, as you are in the beautiful, almost village-like part of Neukölln. The quality and taste of the food was very good. The drinks were also well chilled and delicious. The service was friendly. Unfortunately the portions are too small for the price. The fact that you only get all the dishes you order one after the other is also not helpful. Sharing is common practice in Mediterranean-Levant cuisine, but you get everything at the same time and not one after the other. You can then try the dishes together and experiment with the flavors. This is obviously a logistical problem for the restaurant. Conclusion: you can do it, but it's not a must. PS: the owners would do well not to comment on the balanced guest reviews in such a lecture-like manner as one sometimes reads here. If there are deficits and the guest is already making the effort to reflect on the evening, then as a restaurateur you should work on them and not accuse the guest of a lack of understanding.

The food is really tasty, but the price-performance ratio isn't quite right. Unfortunately the service wasn't good at all. Despite reservations, we waited over an hour for the food, drinks were only available after 30 minutes, despite the restaurant not being completely full. Everything seemed very unstructured...

The food is really very good and the atmosphere is nice if you don't mind the extremely loud noise level. BUT: the service and especially the gentleman at the bar are catastrophic and overwhelmed. We sat there constantly without drinks and I had to ask x times to get the glass of wine I ordered. In addition, the selection of open wines is not possible for a store like this. Little and not a good selection of wines. This is much better. Unfortunately, that spoils your meal a bit if you're always stuck on dry land and get mediocre wine. It's a shame, because the food is really delicious. Overall we were disappointed and really annoyed.

Excellent food. Avivganush, hummus, tortilla: all excellent. Very good service. The only complaint: We sat at a window, where the window seat was the window ledge, past which many people were walking. A regular chair would have made for a more comfortable, less anxious dinner.

Der Abend im Aviv war wie immer ganz fantastisch. Was für ein Juwel. Ich komme regelmäßig, sehr häufig mittags, und bin einfach Fan: Mittags Israeli streetfood wie kaum woanders in der Stadt, abends fast fine dining ohne Allüren. Tolles Team, tolle Atmosphäre. Immer wieder.

We ordered the hummus and the tatar. The cocktails were very good and the service was wonderful. The tatar was okay but very flat, it needed more acid, salt, and seasoning. The mango chutney was not mango chutney, more like a very sweet mustard. The Bulgar-kubba was great, it has a wonderful texture and taste. The hummus had a burnt taste most likely from the sesame being over toasted, and the portion of hummus was very large for a single piece of pita. The kitchen has a vision, the food itself just needs improvement.

Good food. Offensively slow service

First bad review of my life as I was really shocked by the portion. I ordered the tomato salad, but unfortunately you can't call it a salad because it was just a chopped tomato and a quartered cherry on a small puddle of tahini, garnished with 3 slices of onion. Since many people talked about large portions and the salad also sells for an impressive €17, I expected a little more. What a shame! The taste is good, but even if fresh/regional products are used, a tomato is unfortunately not worth €17.

Mega delicious - I tried the Saabich plate for lunch. Really knock your socks off, simply indescribably delicious. Large portion and humane prices.

I waited 5 minutes just to get a menu, and then another 15 minutes without anyone taking my order. Frustrated, I ended up leaving. The attitude of the waitstaff was terrible. If they came to Berlin to be DJs, they shouldn’t be working as waitress and treating clients bad…

The waitress didn't take our order for 20 minutes! She took the empty plates on the table, didn't wipe the table, we sat at the dirty table and waited. There were a total of 3 tables in there. The tables are dirty and the waitress is unwilling to work poorly

After I had walked past there many times and thought I had to go in there, I was here for lunch today. I ordered kofta and hummus (which is served with salad, pita, jacket potato, tahini cream and chili cream). Plus cucumber lemonade. Everything was super tasty at a fair price! I'll definitely come back here again.

The hummus, bread and pita are amazing and our favourites of the whole dinner. The fattoush salad surprisingly had no fried khubz in it—it was just a normal side salad. We also ordered the mushroom tacos—7€ each taco is way too expensive for the size & taste. They were tasty but we expected more. Avivnush was also tasty but at the same time a bit flat—we thought there would be more umami. All in all a good dinner but a bit overpriced.

Accidentally went here, terrible service and coffee. Didn’t eat but would recommend going to a real middle eastern restaurant not one that just stole food from a place they occupied and called it their own.

What a treasure in Berlin. Quite simply one of the best spots for Israeli food. Great atmosphere, super good food, tasty, fresh and with great attention to detail. Hummus, babaganoush and shashuka - what a treat. But also super friendly service with interesting insights into the production of hummus with regional differences. Absolute recommendation – gladly 5-6 stars.

Ich habe noch nie ein so originelles Menu gesehen. Alles schmeckt hervorragend. Schmankerl: Die Bedienung erklärt, um was es sich handelt, welche Geschmacksrichtungen passen und was der Koch sich gedacht hat. Wie gut das Essen ist, zeigt sich auch daran, dass man abends ohne Vorbestellung so gut wie nie einen Platz bekommt - ich wohne fast in Sichtweite und kann das beurteilen. Klein, aber ultrafein.

We came a little early but no issues. The food was rich and plenty. And the order came quickly. At the end of October the heating was turned off inside. So it was a little cold. We ended up leaving sooner than expected to walk and warm back up.

Just by chance came here for a Sunday brunch and really liked it. Cute interior, tasty food, good coffee. I took shakshuka with extra aubergine and goat cheese and all ingredients matched really well. Seems to not be a very popular breakfast choice in the area, which is a pity as it's lovely place, but also means it wasn't crowded. As a small bonus, both bathrooms have interesting design :D

This is a relaxed restaurant with incredibly friendly service. The food is out of this world. We shared all but one of the dishes off the menu. They came one after the other, which made for a delightfully drawn-out evening. I’m still dreaming of the fish tacos. Highly recommended.

Das Lokal bietet innen und außen gemütliche Plätze an . Die Speisekarte ist gut sortiert / Lunch / Dinner / Getränke mit Original levantischen Speisen , Hausgemachten Limonaden und Longdrinks Wir hatten Shashuka & panierte Blumenkohl Platte mit Joghurt Dipp Holunder Blüten Limo & ein Getränk mit Campari dessen Name mir entfallen ist , aber es war extrem lecker Die Speisen wurden sehr schön angerichtet an den Tisch gebracht. Das Shashuka hat sehr sehr gut und auch nach Orginal israelischer Küche geschmeckt. Herausgestochenen hat das Hommus es war sehr gut die Konsistenz , die Mischung von tahini und Kichererbsen war wirklich gut . Ich hab schon oft in verschiedenen Lokalen Hommus gegessen und kann sagen das es im Aviv sehr gut geschmeckt hat . Der Blumenkohl war knusprig aber nicht fettig und sehr gut gewürzt, der Joghurt der dazu gereicht wurde war schön cremig & gut gewürzt. Die Brote die zu den Gerichten gereicht wurden waren noch warm außen mit Sesamkruste und innen schön fluffig zum Dippen . Das Servicepersonal war gastfreundlich und aufmerksam es ging ziemlich schnell also man musste nicht lange auf die Bestellung warten . Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt Das einzige was ich etwas irreführend fand war das extrem Rote Licht im Bad Wir werden auf jedenfall öfter wieder kommen Man konnte dort Bar und mit Karte Zahlen. Parkplätze sind naja sagen wir Glücksache aber machbar
