An absolute insider tip! We enjoyed a fantastic meal in this wonderful Italian restaurant. The homemade pasta was simply heavenly - fresh and delicious. And the original bruschetta bread is highly recommended!🤤 You can tell straight away that the food here is cooked with a lot of love and passion. And the limoncello, also homemade, was a real treat - the perfect end to a great meal! But what really made the meal unforgettable was the warm and attentive service. The chef himself served us and was incredibly friendly, attentive and made us feel at home. It's rare to receive such a warm welcome in a restaurant! We can only warmly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back! If you are looking for real Italian cuisine and a family atmosphere, this is the place for you. When you go to a restaurant, you expect the food to have a certain level of sophistication that you wouldn't be able to achieve at home. You also expect food to be presented nicely. These expectations are not met here. The visit was a complete disappointment. We won't come back.

The three of us were at Mamma Monti on Saturday evening (of course with a reservation, without it it will be difficult on Saturday evening) and unfortunately we didn't have much time because we had to get to the musical on time... we got a very good meal very quickly (risotto, pasta and gnocchi). The Primitivo was very good and perfectly tempered. The service was attentive and warm. The restaurant is small, but all the more cozy! When we're back in Berlin we'll be happy to come back and then I have to try the Parmesan pasta...

I tried to make a reservation with Google and Quandoo, and despite there were free appointments, the restaurant cancelled the reservation without any reason. I made the reservation again, and wrote in the comments that if any problem occurs, call me or contact me via email. In a few minutes a man called me on the phone, hardly speaking any English, and with an outrageous manner he told me that they are full for tomorrow. When I complained that despite this they have plenty of free time online, he said, that “OK, 4 p.m. you come, but 17.20 you go”. Rude, and unfriendly manner, I don’t even go near that restaurant after this.

We are very enthusiastic about this charming restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was simply great, and the atmosphere was romantic and dignified. We will definitely come back.

A wonderful, small Italian restaurant and super lovely employees. The boss is also very lovely and I like to come here again to eat delicious gluten-free pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles. The homemade Limon Cello is also a dream.

Wonderful restaurant with excellent food. We had the vegan risotto and the porcini mushroom linguine, followed by a superb tiramisu. Word of warning though ~ it's cash only!

I actually wanted to write a review a long time ago, because I rarely do it, but with this wonderful restaurant I can't help it! I've been a guest at Mamma Monti's a few times, even though I'm rarely in the area, and every time it's been incredibly good. The food is incredibly delicious, the pasta is fresh and the service is 11/10. I like coming here before I go to the Theater des Westens with my boyfriend and our mothers. Somehow it has become a tradition to go to Mamma Monti beforehand because it is just incredibly beautiful every time. They also have the most delicious homemade limoncello in the world!! :)

We went to Mamma Monti without a reservation, but the four of us got a place for two hours. The food came so quickly that we were able to eat the starter, main course and dessert. The highlight of the evening was the gluten-free, homemade pasta. The food was generally very tasty. The ambience is very nice. Very cozy with white tablecloths and lots of pictures, but also a bit cramped. However, there was another, larger room, which we didn't see. The service was super nice, very relaxed and attentive, even though it was already quite busy. The owner has celiac disease himself. Therefore, you can also offer all dishes gluten-free. Both regular and gluten-free bread were served with the drinks. All in all a successful evening! We'll be happy to come back as soon as we're back in Berlin.

Very friendly staff and good food with high quality ingredients. I have celiac disease and react very strongly to the slightest trace of gluten, so it was my first visit to a non-gluten-free restaurant. I had noodles and felt very comfortable and safe and tolerated everything well. Price-performance ratio was also good. The visit gave me a lot of encouragement and will remain in my memory. I'll be back!

Small but fine Italian restaurant with great homemade pasta.

A local friend of mine took me there and ate it for dinner on the first day I arrived in Berlin, and it was so delicious that I ate it again for dinner the day before I left! I had pig's trotter bossam, soft tofu stew, (jjamppong), and fried dumplings. They were all delicious. When I went later, I had bulgogi and seasoned chicken, both of which were delicious. The interior was spacious and there were always a lot of customers, so I thought it was a popular restaurant! I was surprised to see that there seemed to be more Chinese and local international students than Koreans. I recommend it if you are looking for Korean food in Berlin~~

As an Italian restaurant should be: fresh ingredients of good quality and a very hospitable welcome. Tiramisu was good but not great. Small but intimate atmosphere. Highly recommended to eat here.

We ended up at Mamma Monti because they have gluten-free pasta dishes. The 8 of us enjoyed it, the portions were just right. The service was attentive and friendly. Price-wise, given the location, it's completely okay. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'll definitely be back.

Sweet restaurant. The atmosphere is extremely nice and pleasant. The staff is super friendly and happy to help you. Requests for food were no problem at all. We ended up here because of gluten intolerance and were super satisfied. The food was super delicious. I can highly recommend the truffle pasta. We'll definitely be back :).

We chose this place at the recommendation online that it was excellent to catering for coeliacs. We were not disappointed, the male waiter informed us that he was coeliac and took cross-contamination seriously and showed us several options of gluten-free dishes. The food was excellent, both the gluten-free and non-gluten free dishes.

It was amazing, the owner of the restaurant is very nice , it’s the only place that we have found gluten free food I didn’t need to worry about the gluten at all , place is very beautiful too

Great, friendly service who listened to us when it came to choosing a seat. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right! The only thing that's a problem for me is that the place is relatively small, but somehow it also has a certain charm. Personally, unfortunately it was a bit too narrow for me. All in all, I had a great date with my boyfriend there, which was totally rounded off by the great service :) we'll be happy to come back

Italian cuisine to enjoy! We were there for dinner and were expecting a classic Italian. However, there was no pizza on the menu, but there were very tasty and unusual pasta dishes. In addition, the ambience is super nice and the service is indescribably good. There was homemade pasta made from beetroot filled with goat cheese, a dream. Definitely not the last visit and a clear recommendation!

Die Pasta-Gerichte sind fantasievoll, unglaublich fein und ausreichend groß! Aber auch die Hauptgerichte können sich sehen lassen: alles auf den Punkt gebraten und kein bisschen trocken! und dann die Desserts.... unbedingt Platz lassen, auch dafür! der Espresso: schön bitterschokoladig, eben wie in Italien *g* Die Gasträume sind klein und fein, sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Einfach alles perfekt für einen romantischen Abend.

Dieses kleine Restaurant nahe des Savignyplatzes ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Wir kommen immer wieder und essen die Karte hoch und runter. Jedes Gericht ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und von dem sehr aufmerksamen Personal serviert. Der Eigentümer ist extrem großzügig und betreibt sein Lokal mit Prinzipien: Qualität, Qualität und Qualität sind die primären Kriterien. Unbedingt hingehen und oben auf der Karte anfangen! Diese im Käselaib gewendeten und flambierten Nudeln mit Steinpilzen sind unvergleichlich!

Delicious little Italian find, with great gluten-free options. We loved this place and the staff was excellent. They had homemade hand rolled GF gnocchi which were outstanding. Regular dishes amazing too. Good wines, desserts and even proper digestifs.

The food was really incredibly tasty and the gluten-free selection was quite large, and the restaurant was comfortably furnished. The staff catered to all requests regarding food. The only thing I found questionable was when the waiter suddenly started feeding me. For me it has nothing to do with Italian charm or anything like that, unfortunately it was just unpleasant.

Extremely good food, tasty, fresh and lovingly prepared. Just try everything, there are so many different flavors. The ambience is so fitting! Familiar, charming and small. If we lived nearby, it would be our “go-to” bar.

A cozy restaurant that looks rather small from the outside, but at the back of the restaurant the dining room is even larger and cozy. It's a really nice atmosphere. But the best thing is the service, All employees/waiters will also explain, upon request, which dishes are gluten-free or lactose-free. There was even extra gluten-free bread for the starter! The food was very tasty but of course the dessert was too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What was absolutely positive was that we were given a table despite our unsuccessful online reservation. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The only point of criticism is the ambience and the sanitary facilities. A toilet for everyone is quite meager, so there was a queue in front of it. And it is really getting old and needs renovation. All in all, it was still a successful evening.

This is really nice Italian place. They have nice selection of the homemade pastas. I would specifically recommend Gnochi with goat cheese and Truffles. I could really taste and smell the note of Truffles. The ambience of this place is also great. It's a very nice option for a date night.

Simply great restaurant with authentic food and great service a few minutes from Zoo train station

Had a fantastic evening, the food is a dream, starting with the incredibly good Mozzarella di Bufala with tomatoes and basil, so delicious!!! Pasta with pistachio cream and lime was my favorite; I have rarely eaten such a delicious pasta prepared with so much love and craftsmanship. It's very comfortable to sit outside on padded seats, the wine selection is great and everything is more than reasonably priced. Only the tiramisu didn't impress us that much. Too much chocolate, I think it's partly made with cream. Still, all in all a great restaurant

I ordered food to take away over the phone - pasta with truffle and pasta with ragout, the truffle was forgotten on the first attempt, it was added at my request. Unfortunately I have to say that I can't really understand all the good comments here, on the one hand my truffle pasta didn't taste like truffles and my pasta with ragout consisted of a tomato sauce with some minced meat. Additionally, homemade pasta is advertised here, although this is not the case. Charging a total of 36 euros for these two pasta dishes is way too much. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing.

Great restaurant with very tasty food and extremely attentive service that responds 100% to the guests and takes any intolerances perfectly into account. For me with celiac disease, going out to eat is an incredibly relaxing experience. And without having to worry about whether something will go wrong in terms of contamination.

Very tasty pasta and nice quantity. It's a pity that there is smoking on the terrace, the tables are very close, which is disturbing for non-smokers.

Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Food was okay...nothing like what the old reviews are raving about(for example they don't serve pizza anymore!). Probably change of ownership, and now they serve basic Italian food. Mushroom ravioli was okay, octopus in tomato sauce average at best. Paying over 20€ for pasta, you expect some quality.

The owner is Neapolitan, the grandmother is Sicilian... only the best cuisine and ingredients can come out of it. We experienced fantastic Italian cuisine and hospitality. And best of all, a good selection of gluten-free options too!
