I have never been so happy and satisfied in my entire life

The usual high Augustiner quality, friendly and attentive staff.

I had Nuremberg-style grilled sausages with sauerkraut. The sausage was very good, but the sauerkraut was so bad the cook in Nuremberg would have been drowned in the Pegnitz River.

It was really great at your place. The food was fantastic and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. We'd love to come back. Best regards from the Leipzigers

Very loud, very expensive but the food was very good.

It's practically the Ingolstadt Hofbräuhaus. Definitely a place to linger. It's nice and cozy, just like Bavaria is. You should also keep your eyes open and take a look at all the pictures scattered throughout the dining areas. There are some truly fascinating images, especially from Ingolstadt's early days. All in all, a complete success! 5 stars everywhere.

I spontaneously wanted a drink. I was turned away because my seat was folded up. I was rudely asked to leave because I was holding a roll. I wouldn't recommend it because of the unfriendly service.

We sat down spontaneously, wanted something to drink, accidentally still holding the pretzel from the bakery in front of us - the waiter came and threw us out without saying hello, asking why we were just sitting down - please have fun somewhere else, you are not welcome here

A very nice restaurant right in the pedestrian zone. The service is very friendly and helpful. The wait time isn't very long. The shoulder of pork is very tasty, but it would be perfect if the sauce were freshly made. The sauce comes from a 10-liter Metro bucket. The prices are quite high for the small portions. The lunch special, in particular, is a children's portion. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi for guests.

We had dinner at Augustiner twice this weekend and were not disappointed. The food is incredibly delicious – the Kaiserschmarrn is definitely recommended! The service is also a solid 10/10: We haven't had such friendly and attentive servers in a long time. We'll be back!

We were here on October 3rd around 2 p.m. My sister still had some ice cream in her hand. A waiter told us that we weren't allowed to bring ice cream in, and we weren't even looked at again. We left the table outside, very disappointed.

A lovely Augustiner in downtown Ingolstadt. The interior is quaintly decorated, as befits an Augustiner. Since the weather was great, we were able to sit outside. We were lucky, though, as everyone naturally wanted to sit outside. The prices were reasonable.

Solid restaurant, you can't go wrong. We were here with a larger group (10 people). We were able to change our reservation to an outdoor seating area without any problems. The food came quickly and was okay. They offer children's meals, but it's not possible to order regular adult dishes, such as roast pork, as a child's portion. There are also no small drinks for children.

A very nice restaurant with excellent food and service. During our visit yesterday, the friendly treatment of our 96-year-old grandmother, who is currently wheelchair-bound after a fall, was particularly noteworthy. We'd go back anytime!

Everything was excellent, simply unbeatable. It's a shame there aren't 6 stars. I had the world's best Schäufelchen (small shoulder of pork), with two dumplings, coleslaw, and a freshly tapped Augustiner Hell. No wait, superbly organized, top-notch staff. Historic location. A... historical experience... While the atmosphere of the Augustiner Bräu Theresienhof Illinger Haus undoubtedly evokes a certain concern for reenactment, it's perhaps a little too well done. The very formal traditional costumes (low-cut dirndls and impeccable brown leather breeches) aren't the only ones recalling a bygone era: the waitress's particularly martial tone transported us to a Germany we usually prefer not to remember too much about... A simple snapshot taken to keep a souvenir of the costume was enough to trigger a public reprimand worthy of denunciation, all in authoritarian German that could have appeared in the sound archives of the last century. As for the rest? Let's just say that the food and the beer hold their own, without any particular brilliance. But it's difficult to appreciate anything when you feel like you're being loudly singled out as the culprit, under the gaze of the other customers. An immersive experience, certainly... but not really in a good way...

There are traditional Franconian dishes (such as Obazda, Schäuferla, or Schnitzel) as well as modern dishes like burgers. Highly recommended, and I'd happily return. That's how I sum up my review. Well, yeah. It's loud, and the beer specialties on offer are fake: I ordered an ale and got a lager. Then I ordered a lager and got another lager (in a different glass 😉). The service isn't very prompt and only knows what's on the menu. The Allgäu cheese spaetzle turned out to be a rather small portion of pasta with a packet of sauce.

I was very satisfied with the food today; the quality was comparable to that of other good traditional Bavarian restaurants—I would compare it to the bratwurst in Nuremberg, which is what some good restaurants offer. That's how it should be! The service was fast. Unfortunately, I also have something negative to say about the service: please, if a customer looks or speaks like a foreigner, with even minor mistakes or an accent, please don't immediately start speaking in English or say, as I was told today, "Perhaps an English menu would be more comfortable for you?" That was very strange; I haven't experienced anything like that in Germany for many years.

I ordered a burger without onions and without pickles – what I got was the exact opposite: a full load of onions and two slices of pickle. BUT: The burger was really good. Great taste, juicy meat, everything cooked to perfection. Despite the ordering glitch, this thing was simply amazing. If they even read the order correctly, this thing would be 10/10.

Here you can enjoy Bavarian cuisine. When the weather's nice, you can enjoy it outside in front of the restaurant. I was very satisfied. The menu offers something for everyone. The service is friendly and fast. Card payments are accepted.

Dinner around 8pm so chaotic time, the very kind Chinese waiter, I think, found us a seat anyway, and then asked us if we wanted to move to be more comfortable, he spoke English well and served us great! The dishes are truly excellent! Highly recommended!

We had a great dinner here with colleagues during a business trip. Besides the weather, everything else was perfect so we could sit outside. The meals were plentiful and tasty.

We wanted to eat something here, so we took a seat outside. The weather was nice, many seats outside were occupied and there were 3 waitresses running around. Unfortunately not to our table. A female waiter had actually cleared the table next to us twice and also looked at us, but our table couldn't arouse more interest in her. After a good 10 minutes we left. I went into the restaurant and asked whether the waitress at table 120 was sick. People looked at me incomprehensibly. So I said we have been sitting there for 10 minutes without paying any attention. They wanted to send someone immediately but we didn't want any more. Conclusion: with today's prices, it is a mystery to me that customers are, let's say, "overlooked". The lady who was at the next table twice could have reacted differently. Either ask us whether someone has already been there or tell our colleague that there are new guests at their table. It's all a question of attitude. Due to its location and size, this inn probably doesn't need to pay attention to every guest. It's a shame for us, whether the inn looks like that remains to be seen. Luckily, as a guest, I am spoiled for choice and am not dependent on this inn. The word guest is correctly understood by many others.

A place where you can breathe the typical atmosphere of a Bavarian Pub with regional dishes. Excellent roast pork and crispy Franconian Schäuferla, with Augustiner dark beer sauce accompanied by classic side dishes such as potato dumplings and bread and cabbage salad. To drink? A fabulous Augustiner Weissbier. Dessert could not be missing: Bavarian apple strudel and chocolate cake with a soft centre. Excellent quality/price ratio. Definitely coming back.

Yes, unfortunately as always, the food was very poor, I also told the waitress! But there was no feedback or questions about it. We don't need to talk about the beer! 5* Top temperature. But it's a shame that the brewery is ruining its name with such poor cuisine.

The atmosphere is quite nice and the conditions are very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to say that I was very disappointed with the food portions. I had a Viennese style schnitzel that was beaten down mercilessly, tasted OK and was unfortunately very small. Unfortunately, a children's schnitzel at full price is not possible. But the fries were very good. But here too, far too few... If it comes up there were maybe 12 pieces I actually wanted a Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, but after the schnitzel I didn't feel like experimenting anymore

The service is very good and very fast. However, the restaurant was not well attended. The atmosphere is rustic, the house is very old. The food came quickly. There were four of us. All in all, not seasoned enough. Whether schnitzel with potato salad, the Schäufele, knuckle or mushrooms. A little more spice and "love" won't hurt. Price-performance ratio but otherwise OK. The dark beer was very tasty.

It was a great evening and the food was very tasty. However, my wife had the burger. It could have been a little warmer. As a tip: You can also have a great “Weißwurscht-Breakfast” here. I've done it a few times with my brother-in-law. So overall a recommendation for a good, home-style meal. 👍🏻☺️

At the entrance to the location we were approached by the waitress because we entered the restaurant with a stroller. She said in a rude voice that strollers were annoying. Afterwards we sat down at a free table where the stroller didn't bother us. We were then grumbled at because the two of us sat down at a table for four. Although we tried to politely make it clear that we weren't staying long and that all tables were free, the waitress continued her rude manner in an impertinent tone. We said we would leave the store if she continued to be so rude. Instead of apologizing, the waitress showed us the exit door and provoked us with “it’s okay, hop on”. We wanted to complain to the supervisor. A man in his early 20s was called in who introduced himself as the owner. Our complaint did not reach the supposed owner; instead, the young man initially appeared to be argumentative. He hardly knew how to act in such a situation, so I firmly assume that it was not the owner, but the colleague of the rude waitress. The waitress continued to be provocative and roll her eyes when we tried to complain. She continued her rude behavior so we left the store.

Wir möchten uns über die Bedienung beschweren (Junge Frau, Groß, mit einem Unterlippen Piercing). Eine solch unhöfliche und unverschämte Bedienung haben wir kaum erlebt. Schon am Eingang der Location wurden wir von der Bedienung angemotzt, da wir die Gastronomie mit einem Kinderwagen betreten haben. Sie meinte mit einer unhöflichen Stimme, dass Kinderwagen stören. Im Anschluss haben wir uns an einen freien Tisch gesetzt, bei dem der Kinderwagen nicht störte. Daraufhin wurden wir angemault, dass wir uns zu zweit an ein vierer Tisch gesetzt haben. Obwohl wir versucht haben höflich klar zu machen, dass wir nicht lange bleiben und dass doch alle Tische frei sind, setzte die Bedienung ihre unhöfliche Art in einem unverschämten Ton fort. Wir meinten, dass wir den Laden verlassen, wenn Sie weiterhin so unhöflich ist. Anstatt sich zu entschuldigen, hat uns die Bedienung die Ausgangstüre gezeigt und mit „geht doch, hop“ provoziert. Wir wollten uns beim Vorgesetzten beschweren. Es wurde ein Mann Anfang 20 hinzugezogen, der sich als Inhaber vorgestellt hatte. Unsere Beschwerde ist beim vermeintlichen Inhaber nicht angekommen, stattdessen zeigte er sich anfangs streitbereit. Er wusste kaum wie man in so einer Situation handeln müsste, sodass ich fest davon ausgehe, dass es nicht der Inhaber, sondern der Kollege der unhöflichen Bedienung war. Die Bedienung hat weiterhin provoziert und ihre Augen verdreht, als wir uns beschweren wollten. Sie hat ihr unverschämtes Verhalten fortgesetzt, sodass wir den Laden verlassen haben.

The Augustiner in Ingolstadt, a rustic brewery restaurant. We were thrilled by the atmosphere here, the service was also great, everything was clean and the table was even cleaned for us. The toilets were very clean, which isn't always the case. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky when it came to eating it, we didn't like it very much, we had the feeling that it had been warmed up, and the taste was just like that... as if it was already a few days old, it was definitely not freshly prepared, maybe you should figure that out beforehand... well, the portions were huge, maybe we just had a bad day! In any case, an extra thank you to the service, it was really great! Price performance is also completely ok!

Four of us were there yesterday and found it really good, but not outstanding. The curry sauce for the currywurst was a bit bland, but we've had much better ones. The cheese spaetzle was okay and the Kaiserschmarrn was good average, as beautifully presented as it is. Service was top and the furnishings were classic Augustinian/Bavarian. All in all we were satisfied, but there are certainly better Bavarian restaurants.

I find the food to be overpriced for what is on offer. The onion roast for over 28 euros for such a small meat, the sauce for the roast pork is almost black and gelled on the surface is no longer nice either. Service was nice and quick, but I don't eat here anymore!
