Simply recommended!! We have been guests several times and each time it has been incredibly good. Service was quick and very friendly, nice rustic atmosphere, good food and the beer was just perfect.

Unfortunately I only have to give one star for service because the service was unprofessional and doesn't value customers. Due to incorrect advice about the condition, we would have to leave the business house with negative feelings.

Food very good We had the burger and the BBQ platter from the daily special. Service very nice and accommodating. Sitting outside in these temperatures was good and relaxing.

Sehr leckeres Essen: Schäuferl mit Bratkartoffeln oder Knödeln -nur der Krautsalat war zu süß, nicht wie man ihn sonst aus dem Wirtshaus kennt- Der Burger war weltklasse-meinte mein Mann. Im ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden-draußen auf der Terrasse gab es keine freie Tische mehr und wir waren zu 6-drinnen waren genügend freie Plätze-nur war es etwas zu heiß. Das Personal ist sehr nett und man wird schnell bedient.

We met up with friends here for lunch. All the dishes looked delicious and tasted that way too. The sausage salad was tasty, as was the turkey salad. The “Vesperplatte” with cold cuts, cheese and other local specialties was the highlight. Very friendly and authentic service, decent portions and good value for money. Always worth a visit!

The place is in the heart of the old town of Ingolstadt, outside there are tables with umbrellas where you can smoke after dinner. Inside there is a restaurant on level 0, a toilet on the first floor. Nice decor, atmospheric, plenty of space inside, especially for groups. The service is nice and cordial, you don't have to wait long for the ordered dishes. Cool and refreshing beer. I recommend the Bavarian pork shank.

I was here spontaneously yesterday and was only able to get a table inside due to the nice weather. The service was on point, friendly and quick. The Schäuferla was very tasty, the crust was nice and crunchy and the meat, except for the outer parts, was very juicy. The sauce was well seasoned and went perfectly with the meat. The dumplings tasted delicious, but were very compact and a bit rubbery. As other reviews have written, the coleslaw was very sweet and therefore more reminiscent of a salad from a large bucket. The portion was very generous, I couldn't finish it all. Overall okay, the service and the ambience ensure 4 stars.

Beer is great, location is great, service is very good. Unfortunately, food is not recommended. Sauerkraut was totally over-salted, the bread was like it was in the hospital - that shouldn't happen in a traditional Bavarian house.

Went to dinner with friends at Augustiner Bräu yesterday. I had a Viennese veal schnitzel which was of poor quality. Crisscrossed by tendons. The fried potatoes served with it were very greasy and seemed like they had been warmed up. The portion size was also rather small for over €27. I noted everything during operation. Unfortunately there was no response or at least “greetings from the kitchen”. Maybe it was my mistake to cut the tendons out of the meat. Next time the dish will go back.

Food was ok. But the fact that the waiters aren't even happy about a €1.20 tip is outrageous! Tipping is not a must and in this day and age you should be happy about every cent! I hope that changes because not hearing a thank you is rude and you don't really want to come back.

Beautiful typical bayern brauhaus... with great local beers, good food, very friendly service dressed in typical costumes... everything was great... I had roasted pork with red cabbage and dark beer and I was really satisfied. I really recommend this place.

Food, ambience good, We recommend. Points deducted for something that always annoys me. If I pay €4.50 for the delicious Augustiner on tap, it should at least be well filled. :-( . At least up to the calibration mark.

Very rustic restaurant, everything pleasant

Es war mal wieder soweit. Erster Frühlingstag, Sonntagnachmittag mit Temperaturen kurz vor 20°C und wir tigern durch unsere "Hometown". Nachdem wir tatsächlich noch einen freien Tisch im Außenbereich ergattern konnten, gab es erstmal ein frisch gezapptes Helles Augustiner. Uih... war das lecker. Dazu gab es dann noch einen Schweinebraten mit zwei Kartoffelknödeln, einem gemischten grünen Salat und Käsespätzle. Die Käsespätzleportion sah sehr klein aus, aber war dann doch vollkommen ausreichend. Die Soße beim SChweinebraten sah leider nicht selbst gemacht aus. Der Service war bis dahin sehr gut! Dann ging es ans zahlen. Leider war jetzt der Kellner nicht mehr gesehen. Nach unendlichen halsverrenkenden Szenen (Wo ist der Kellner) haben wir den zweiten Kellner gebeten bei ihm zahlen zu dürfen. Dies ging aus welchen Gründen auch immer nicht. Wir mussten weitere 10 Minuten warten bis der Kellner zu uns kam. Wir haben in Summe 38,60€ bezahlt. Ich fand es dann doch ganz schön hoch. Waren bestimmt die 19% Mehrwertsteuer, die wieder drauf gepackt wurden. Fazit: Für ein Bier kann man sich immer hier hinsetzen. Das Essen war leider schon mal besser und der Service inkl. Essen war leider auch schon besser.

++ Solid edition of the Augustiner Brauhäuser ++ We met as former colleagues in Ingolstadt and had lunch here. - The ambience and service are really great 👍 - I won't go into the beer here. I think it goes without saying 😉 - Our food was very tasty. The Kaiserschmarren was beautifully interpreted. - The prices are ambitious, but that is (unfortunately) now very common in the cities in the south 😏 👉 You can definitely do the story.

We ordered Viennese-style schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn, schnitzel wasn't that special, potato salad was tasty, but Kaiserschmarrn didn't taste good at all. At the end when we paid the bill, the young blonde waiter with green eyes, who had sounded friendly until then, suddenly became unfriendly because the tip wasn't high enough. He made such a bad fuss, which disturbed us and probably the table next door. But the atmosphere was really nice and traditional, it would be better without the tip tragedy.

Had a business lunch. Service and food were top. Had delicious spinach dumplings and good beer.

We traveled to Ingolstadt for a short vacation with 4 men from a village near Paderborn and reserved a table at the Augustiner based on recommendations from a friend. And we weren't disappointed at all: great ambience, very good food, delicious freshly tapped beer and very friendly, courteous service that didn't turn down any request! We will definitely come back next time we visit Ingolstadt! Definitely worth a visit! Kind regards from Bad Lippspringe.

Nice Bavarian restaurant. Food came after about 5 minutes. Everything was fine so far, but the waiter was a bit pushy. But given the prices, you'll need a big wallet.

The food was really good. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly, rarely came to the table and then usually with an unfriendly comment. Once I had to listen to “Here is the schnapps for the wild raspberry”. Well, I thought he was joking. I was the only woman traveling with 13 men. When paying, the waiter asked if I was the office worker. Unfortunately, that really ruined my good mood. But the food and drinks were great!

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the food, at least the sauces were way too salty and the dishes seemed to be lying around a bit in front of them. The onion roast was far too small and not at all priced appropriately. The service was somehow too overwhelmed with the order but was very nice and polite. But the atmosphere was really nice and cozy.

I'm very sorry, but that was a real mess... there were 13 people there and 7 people were unlucky and some people's food was extremely salty, two couldn't eat it at all and one had almost raw potatoes in the fried potatoes and two of them lacked flavor... it's a shame about the beautiful ambience

Table was reserved for 5:30 p.m., we were there 5 minutes earlier and there were other guests sitting at the table with half-full glasses. That doesn't work for me. The food was very salty, the soup was fine. But I won't be eating there again anytime soon. Sorry

A very nice brewery in the middle of Ingolstadt. The service is OK. Could be a little nicer. There are great specialties and fresh, cold beer. The Obazda is fresh and plentiful. The pretzels go perfectly with it. The beer garden is appropriate. Seating options are limited. Still highly recommended for an experience in the Bavarian beer garden.

in einer bayerischen Traditionsgaststätte erwartet man, dass ein "Gröstl" eben ein Gröstl ist und nicht ein in Würfel geschnittenes Fleisch mit in Kartoffeln schwimmender Soße. Serviert war das in einem Pastateller, also nicht der üblichen Traditon entsprechend.

Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag mit der Familie dort. Service perfekt und das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Hatten dort unser Weihnachtsessen. Bedienungen waren schnell und freundlich, das Essen war lecker. Nur aufgrund der Anzahl der Personen waren wir in zwei Räume aufgeteilt, fand ich persönlich ein wenig schade. Ansonsten ein schönes Lokal.

Ich war am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag zusammen mit meinem Bruder dort spontan zum Mittagessen. Es war mein erstes Mal beim Ingolstädter Augustiner und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Begrüßung war freundlich und wir wurden gleich gefragt, was wir trinken möchten. Natürlich gab es ein frisch gezapftes Helles vom Fass. Mein Bruder hatte sich ein Schäuferl bestellt und ich hatte ganz klassisch einen Schweinebraten. Beide Gerichte waren mit Knödel und Krautsalat. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren auch perfekt. Leider hab ich kein Foto gemacht, da ich so großen Hunger hatte. Ich werde auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Wir waren jetzt schon öfters hier zum Essen und sind immer wieder zufrieden. Das essen schmeckt uns sehr gut, der Service ist top und das Ambiente ebenso. Wir werden weiterhin, hier zum Essen hinkommen, wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind. 😊

Also der Service wirklich 5 Sterne. Aber wir waren gestern vor Ort. Es war Eiskalt! Letztes Jahr war das Essen noch super aber am 26.12 diesen Jahres schrecklich. Das Schnitzel nicht gut hat total nach Schwein geschmeckt. Fürchterlicher Geschmack. Das andere Schnitzel war sehr trocken und der Kartoffelsalat kalt. Diesen sollte man vorher raus tun. Die Käsespätzle waren sehr salzig und trocken. Also ich werde dort nicht mehr hingehen. Leider

Ambiente urig gemütlich und Service flott und sehr freundlich sowie aufmerksam . Ich war einmal dort und hatte das Wiener schnitzel. Es war ok, aber nicht mehr. Gerne komme ich wieder und probiere was anderes von der Karte. Vielleicht überzeugt das mehr.

Augustiner Gibt es ja fast in jeder Stadt aber dieses unglaublich schnitzel gefroren nur warm gemacht Kartoffelsalat wahrscheinlich aus großen Eimer das einzige erfreuliche war ein ober in die Jahre gekommen aber top da hat einer noch spass an seiner Arbeit danke für die gute Bedienung heute 15.12 2023 um 12 uhr

Locale tipico bavarese con un' ampia scelta di piatti tipici, personale efficiente a volte i tempi di attesa sono un po' lunghi. Cibo ottimo ed ambiente tipico bavarese, con possibilità di sedersi a tavola anche senza prenotazione. Purtroppo la cucina chiude sempre entro le 22, quindi dopo quell' ora non è più possibile ordinare cibo; unico punto negativo del locale.

Waren in Ingolstadt zu einem Günter Grünwald Abend und wollten vorher schön bayrisch essen. Nachdem uns mehrere Restaurants wegen Überfüllung abgewiesen haben, auch nicht so ganz freundlich wurden wir sehr herzlich im Augustinerbräu empfangen. Obwohl es auch hier überfüllt war, bat man uns einen Platz an und sogar später noch einen Tisch der frei wurde. Das nenn ich gelebte Gastfreundlichkeit. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten das Münchner Schnitzel, die Ochsenbackerl und eine Schweinshaxe. Dazu wunderbar frisch gezapftes Augustiner aus dem Fass. Auch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die sehr nette Bedienung rundeten das Ganze perfekt ab. Ich kann das Augustiner nur empfehlen, insbesonders in Zeiten wo doch vielen Dienstleistern die Dienstleistung schwer fällt oder man vergessen hat warum Menschen in Wirtschaft und Restaurants gehen. Nicht nur wegen dem Essen und Trinken!!

Wir sind Abends ohne Voranmeldung mit einer 12-köpfigen Gruppe gekommen. Man hat uns dann trotzdem einen Bereich freigemacht. Toll!
