Very tasty, unfortunately you can't eat there.

Best Greek in Bergkamen, better than in Kamen, Werne and the surrounding area! Everything tastes good, meat well seasoned not like a competitor in town... I can't confirm the nagging comments here at all, the owners are ALWAYS nice & concentrate on preparing the dishes, so I don't understand how some people expect them to just stand there like dolls and smile... ;) Keep it up, this shop is a cultural heritage in Bergkamen, thank you for your hard work. ♡

Things used to be much better. As many have said, the new owners are a bit unfriendly and a little ignorant. If you want something extra, you just roll your eyes and talk in Greek.

Gyros to break the habit. An indefinable piece of meat was cut onto the plate with scissors. Once and never again. Not even the prices on the flyers displayed in the store are correct, which you only find out when you pay. The trip to Werne is worth it.

The gyros tasted great and the staff was nice. Customer parking spaces are available. The food is for take away only.

Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be, the more new owners come, the more the quality disappears, where you could previously sit comfortably there is now a dark curtain, the counter is still reminiscent of Corona times and is decorated with plexiglass, which was the owner friendly at the beginning but now you hardly get a hello out of him, it's a real shame.

We cannot understand the negative reviews. Were there before, the owners were very nice and the food was excellent. We will be back definitely.

Homemade gyros with good meat are highly recommended

In terms of food, it's not quite a hit, but in my opinion the Corfu Grill in Oberaden is tastier!

Update of my original 4 star review....The tenants/owners seem to change all the time here. Now there are gyros in the kebab style. This means that the gyros are cut with an electric kebab circular knife. Way too thin and too dry. The fries are now of the cheap variety and were very sticky and could have used a little more heat. Then we will wait for the next owners/tenants and move to Oberaden until then.

Totally disappointing. When we went in, the operator was in a customer meeting and didn't pay any attention to us. So I said a quick “Hello” greeting (twice) and went to the back to see if I could sit there. (Unfortunately you can't, the food is only available to take away.) It was only then that the operator noticed me and shouted at me in an unfriendly manner, asking if I hadn't said hello and asked if he could help me. After I corrected that I had greeted them twice when I came in, we placed our order. Unfortunately, the operator wasn't any friendlier and was impatient. Unfortunately the food wasn't any better. The bratwurst was only lukewarm and without a bun or mustard. The rest, a manta platter and croquettes with cream sauce, went like this. (On a previous visit the gyro was similar.) The "dining room" is narrow and long (1.5 x 10 meters), the counter is equipped with an unsightly corona plexiglass pane and the wooden slats partially cover the dining tables on the wall, at least given my size. It was probably our last visit. The good reputation is probably based on the previous operator.

Use sauce very sparingly, so you don't keep customers. Otherwise very tasty.

I've never eaten a more disgusting gyros teller. The meat was not cooked well, the portion size is a joke....the Krautsalat was also not good. Every time I brought the fork close to my mouth I got some weird smell coming from the meat. Absolutely disgusting.

Only take away at the moment but very good for typical grill food

Gegen früher in allen Punkten verschlechtert.

Essen ist gut 👍🏼 Der Laden ist aber auf den Coronamaßnahmen hängen geblieben. Speisen gibt es nur zum mitnehmen .. schade ☹️

Kann die negativen Kritiken nicht verstehen. Essen war geil, Service nett. Wenn ihr wieder vor Ort bin, sofort wieder Athen. Beste Grüße

Sehr gutes Essen aber leider nur Speisen zum mitnehmen

Hier kann man gut essen, aber mittlerweile zu teuer. Sehr nette Inhaber.

Leider nicht mehr der Imbiss der er mal war. Gyros teilweise trocken und hart. Gyros pita spezial wurde früher mit leckeren Salat gereicht , heute eine paar Gurken und Tomaten Scheiben alles ziemlich lieblos. Die Sitzgelegenheiten zum gemütlichen da essen sind jetzt durch einen unschönen Vortrag geschlossen. Insgesamt macht der Imbiss keinen Einladenen Eindruck mehr.

Zwar war das Essen schnell fertig, allerdings lies die Qualität zu wünschen übrig. Das Fleisch sowie das Pitabrot waren zäh und in Fett ertränkt, die Pommes nicht gewürzt und der Salat matschig. In unserem Fall war das Personal leider nicht freundlich und bei einer Bestellung von 60€ mussten wir die Tüten mit den Gerichten selber sortieren, obwohl wir vorher drum gebeten hatten einige Speisen in die eine und andere Gerichte in eine weitere Tüte gepackt zu bekommen.

Wir vermissen die alten Betreiber! Waren früher 2-3 mal im Monat im Athen Grill, immer gerne. Insbesondere auch aufgrund der unglaublich freundlichen und beinahe familiären Atmosphäre, selbst wenn es extrem voll war. Seit dem Wechsel waren wir nur noch selten da. Das Personal ist einfach nur unfreundlich, speziell “sie” bekommt nicht das geringste Lächeln ins Gesicht. Was das Essen angeht, hat es ebenfalls stark nachgelassen. Auch wenn die neuen Betreiber hier darauf hinweisen, alles beim Alten belassen zu haben, hatte wir beide in Folge Pech mit dem Gyros. Nicht mehr knusprig, sonder recht fettig und knorpelig. Wir fahren jetzt nach Oberaden, wenn wir griechisch essen möchten. Schade!!

Lecker, viel und zügige Bedienung.

Essen ist naja ok aber mehr auch nicht (Currywurst pommes, die po. Mes waren ok, allerdings schmeckte die Wurst alt und nur nacht fett) , zudem war das Personal dort recht verhalten, wobei ja mal jeder einen schlechten Tag haben kann.

Ich finde es nicht gut das man nicht mehr dort sitzen kann und es ist definitiv zu wenig Soße pro Portion man muß das 4 fache nehmen bei einer doppelten Pommes. Um auf seinen Genuss zu kommen.

Nicht mehr so gut wie früher... Essen ziemlich fade, schweinesteaks sind jetzt eher dicke schuhsohlen... War ziemlich enttäuscht.
