The food was great, the burger was juicy and well grilled, the portions were generous and the price/performance ratio was right!

Food is okay, atmosphere is really nice and service is good too. At the front in the entrance area you can 1st/2nd. Watch the Bundesliga.

We were in the Astra today and the food was really very bad.. Cold currywurst, bad salad, black fried potatoes and the service... I've run out of words for that.. a certain lady was really very cheeky and rolled her eyes.. I don't know how a waitress can behave like that... We were there last year and everything was great. But today? Catastrophic!

Die Astra Brauerei ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Der Personal ist sehr freundlich und schnell, die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Bier ist der Hit. Wir waren mit Kind und Kegel da und sehr zufrieden. Die Speisekarte hat auch die Vegetarier nicht enttäuscht und auch die 'Desserts sind superlecker. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall die Bierprobe. Wir hatten einen rundrum gelungenen Abend. Danke!

Great atmosphere, lovingly furnished. Absolutely recommended.

A typical brewery with something special Neighborhood spirit. A very relaxed atmosphere, therefore ideal if you are with several people e.g. with the club, sports group etc. want to eat, drink and have a lot of fun. 100 m further is the neighborhood with the famous one Kiez dance club, Große Freiheit 39. These 2 places are a must when traveling in Hamburg.

Delicious beer, good food, good service and great ambience. Everything came together for us here. We enjoyed the dishes, from burgers to schnitzel and Hamburg panfish. The dessert in the form of Franzbrötchen tiramisu was also great and very tasty. We were there on a Saturday evening and you should make a reservation if you want to be sure of a place. Card payment is possible here and we would come back at any time. A great place for an evening around St. Pauli

Astra St. Pauli brewery right on the Reeperbahn, here you can drink a beer. There is also food from schnitzel to Currwurst with fries and more. A bit noisy here but nice atmosphere. Service is attentive and quick. Good place to pre-glow 😊

Very cool location, and also special Astra beers. You can also order a flight of different beers to try different ones. We didn't eat anything, but it looked delicious from other guests.

....I won't need it again anytime soon. Very loud, but you can imagine that, okay. I don't think the prices are appropriate. €27.50 Standard schnitzel, no veal. Everyone has to know for themselves, we don't. Beer was good, staff friendly

We had booked a brewery tour and the fact that sitting at the table and going into the next room for a few minutes is called a tour is an absolute disgrace. This was a clear deception of the customer, as it was neither a real brewery nor a tour. We should talk more about expectation management here! If it had been sold differently, e.g. B. Simply as a beer tasting, one would have approached the matter with completely different expectations.

Delicious beer, delicious food, friendly and fast service, what more could you want. Cozy atmosphere, music a bit loud, but it suits the store. We were very satisfied and will visit the brewery again the next time we visit Hamburg.

I recently went there for a brewery tour and I have to say it was the best tour of my life because the guide was in a great mood and was able to inspire with a lot of knowledge, so I can only recommend it. For the price of 30 euros you really can't say anything about the experience.

The Astra House is something like the Astra Flagship Store. It's a fun shop with a cool atmosphere. There is good beer at moderate prices. Later in the evening the music is increased to an almost uncomfortable volume to create a club atmosphere. Unfortunately, this makes conversations almost impossible. But you can easily go here for 2-5 beers beforehand.

Just relaxed people. No stress, enough space, friendly service staff.

Vi kom kun for at få en øl. Vi fik ipa og dunkelbier. Gode øl. Senere købte vi 2 andre på hotellet. De var også gode. Hyggeligt sted, som vi gerne kommer tilbage til en anden gang.

The beer was, as always, good and cold. However; charging your customers for sitting down and enjoy your beers? Nah, that's unhinged. A bit disappointed.

The food is tasty, but in my opinion not worth the price. The service was friendly but slow considering there was relatively little going on. (We were there Monday evening) The ambience is great. If you go just for the drink and the experience, it's worth it. I wouldn't recommend it especially for dinner.

Schönes typisches Brauerei ST. Pauly Style Restaurant. Leckeres Essen. Beim reservieren um Tische im mittleren oder hinteren Bereich buchen wir saßen mit 14 zusammen vorne da war es nicht so gemütlich. Aber dafür alle14 an einem Tisch. Hatten zweimal 7 bestellt ( 14 ging nicht ) und bei Bemerkungen gewünscht nebeneinander zu sitzen. Hat geklappt sie haben direkt einen langen Tisch gemacht.

Shots wie Jägermeister oder Vodka ext. Sind etwas Teuer.

Wir haben vorab an der hauseigenen Brauereiführung teilgenommen. Sehr kurzweilig, informativ und lecker für alle Craftbeer Fans. Es war schön, dann entspannt einen Platz in der sehr gut besuchten Brauerei zu bekommen. Service, Bier, Essen und Musik (Rockmusic) passten perfekt zusammen. Rustikal. Empfehlenswert

Kiez meatballs highly recommended. Have tried all the beers. Some of it was very tasty and tasty. Others so-so. Just a matter of taste. Ambience clean but simple. At least more appealing than other “large restaurants” on 3 Reeperbahn. Service attentive but unfortunately not really chatty.

Wir haben eine Brauereiführung gebucht, gelandet sind wir in einem Restaurant mit einer kleinen Hausbrauerei mit mit einem Kessel. Die Führung beschränkte sich auf eine Verkostung von 6 Craft Bieren (jeweils 0,1l), einer kurzen Einweisung in die Hausbrauerei und eine kleinen Brotzeit. Die angegebene Dauer von 90 Minuten wurde eingehalten. Nach der Führung haben wir dort noch etwas gegessen, hat uns geschmacklich nicht überzeugt.

At the beginning of November we reserved a table for six people for New Year's Eve. We then received the reservation confirmation by email. On December 23rd I received an email saying that our reservation was unfortunately just a "request" and that we had to be informed that there were no more quotas available. The email also claims that someone tried to reach us by phone. Based on my call history, I can say with certainty that this is not true at all. Unfortunately, my attempts to reach the Astra brewery failed. You can imagine how we felt. Booked a hotel because we would like to spend New Year's Eve in Hamburg on the Reeperbahn. And then find a place somewhere a week beforehand... I just say: good luck. 😖 I can understand if there was an overbooking. Something like that happens. But then blatantly lying and making any claims is, in my opinion, an absolute no-go. Customer service looks different to me. ☹️

Tolles Essen und leckeres Bier rund herum ein toller Abend

Schlechtes Essen, Burger trocken,Fleisch hatte mehrfachen Tod erlebt, so trocken, beim Service hatten wir Glück, unsere Nachbarn Pech,die mussten für alles immer 20 min warten. Musik ein bisschen zu laut, nicht zu empfehlen,Preis Leistung in keinem Verhältnis, aber dennoch immer gut besucht

Der Sevice war nicht aufmerksam und an keiner Rückmeldung interessiert. Das Essen war sehr schlecht. Ohne Geschmack und dilettantisch zubereitet. So schlecht habe ich in den letzten 25 Jahren noch nie in Hamburg gegessen. Schade für die coole Location aber mit der Küche und diesem schwachen Personal ist es das Geld nicht wert.

Muss man erlebt haben. Ist eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Man kann sich durch verschiedene Biete probieren, die man nur vor Ort kaufen kann. Es gibt sogar ein Bier mit Glitzer 😂 Max unser Guide war super. Die Häppchen waren sehr lecker. Richtig toll war, ich wusste bei der Buchung nicht, dass ich schwanger bin. Es war kein Problem, unalkoholische Getränke zu bekommen (ohne Aufpreis). Dafür konnte mein Mann alles doppelt trinken. Er hat sich gefreut.

We waited a few minutes until our reserved table became available and got 1 beer in the queue at the entrance, very good 👍. The service was super friendly and very quick. Beer was on the table within a very short time 😀. Unfortunately, our 7 burgers were all grilled to such an extent that they were inedible... But the loaded fries were great! Would definitely give the store a second chance.

Top location if you like a lively atmosphere! There is no quiet dinner here! Food was great for us 6 times, regardless of whether it was currywurst, pan fish or matjes. Rich portions and prices ok! Thanks for a really great evening

18€ for a mediocre lasagne is overkill. It wasn't good, it was pretty bland, the cheese was burnt in places but at least it was absolutely edible. The beer is very expensive but if you like it and don't care about money, you'll probably get your money's worth. (Yes, bad joke) In any case, the price-performance ratio was unfortunately in the basement

I'm conflicted. The beer on tap is amazing. The "Stimulator" is so awesome, I haven't had such a great beer in a long time. Cheers! When eating...Fish & Chips...well chips...yes, of course, but still. Would have preferred 'Chips' (British) instead of Chips (German). The fish was drowned in the beer batter, which had 0 seasoning, so the 'fish' had nothing without the tartar sauce (which is TOO sweet for my taste). Too bad. The service was good. Although I don't think there was much going on, I was allowed to wait here and there, but everything was within reason. Still very friendly and accommodating.

Despite having a reservation, you have to wait in line for a long time to be brought to your table. There is no special line for reservations. It was Saturday afternoon and football. Yes, so there's a lot going on. We told the waiter at the entrance that we didn't want to eat until after the game. Until then, it seemed like no problem. Beer, space, view of the screen and service are completely ok. When we wanted to order food, we were told, no, it was too late. By the way, it was a 3:30 pm game. After 2 hours you have to vacate your seat and have to leave. So they were asked out without further comments or similar efforts. There were only three of us and just one family (without a small child!). Never experienced anything like this before. But well, if you don't want to earn money, you won't see us again. Although the beer is good and a nice atmosphere. That's not how you treat guests. Not even on a Saturday!

Leider keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht. Nach 2Std muss man seinen reservierten Platz für den nächsten räumen. Bei einem Fussballnachmittag mit anschließendem Essen unmöglich. Man wurde quasi vor die Tür gebeten. Und auch als man ne halbe Stunde später vorbei geht, Tisch war noch frei. Ansonsten Bier ok, Preise naja..... Aber was ist heute noch günstig. Es ist eine originale Kiezbrauerei!

Moin, wir bekammen schon am Einlass einen Schock, als das Innere der Räume sahen. Nostalgie gut und machmal auch schön, es muss trotzdem auch etwas gemacht werden , oft genügt nur eine Grundrenigung. Hier sollte die Küche mit einbezogen werden. Ich hatte Hamburger Currywurst mit Pommes, die nach verbrannten Öl schmeckten. Ketshup und Mayo in angebrochenen Plastikflaschen ungekühlt auf dem Tisch. Vielleicht war dass der Grund, da ich mich nach dem Essen übergeben mußte. Von den Pommes habe nur ein paar gegessen. Zum Essen hatte ich als erste alkoholische Getränke 1 Rotbier und 2 Jägermeister. Das Lokal ist bestimmt für Reisegruppen geeignet, aber nicht für etwas gediegene Reisende.

Quiz evening: The food and atmosphere are very good and are the sole reason for the positive rating. The service is improvable, inattentive and neutral-impolite. What I found really cheeky, however, was that the quiz started over an hour later than advertised. Probably to order more during that time and wait until the store is full. The quiz master only makes inside jokes with the staff and hardly creates any mood. The acoustics are sometimes very bad and you can hardly understand the questions. Bottom line: a few years ago the store was definitely a highlight for quiz evenings, but now there are much better stores.

The first time the service came...the second time it didn't, even though you were seen?! I can still recommend the baked potato - delicious!

Unfortunately, the chicken meat in the “Hot Chicken” burger was still raw.

10-2024: It's a shame that this restaurant is closed on Sunday. This Hamburg beer is a delight. The food was very good and the service was very attentive and there was hardly any waiting time.

Cooler Ort, toller Service. Das Essen ist lecker und heiß. Bier ist lecker, cool. Die Cocktails sind ausgezeichnet. Wirklich genossen es.

Were there in a large group. Unfortunately the staff was very rude and the table was stuck. We got a rag ourselves which then lay on the table the whole time. Food was very tasty. While clearing away the waitress dropped the cutlery and hit someone. Nothing bad happens. But no excuse nothing. Very RUDE!!! Nice rustic atmosphere. Toilets not clean, can be expanded!

Es war anders als erwartet aber typisch St.Pauli und Hamburg Like. Vor allem der Spaß hat nicht gefehlt. Top. Kann ich empfehlen wenn man mal in HH ist.

Bad customer service. They really need to train the service people. Yesterday we were there and the waitress treated us badly - -Randomly saying we are ordering wrongly. -Not bringing any spoons or plates. -Asking randomly « have you booked the table ». -she was just showing faces on us. We gave a benefit of doubt that she might be having a bad day! It felt bit wierd and sorry for them that they are completely unhappy working there. If you are unhappy working there, get the hell out of there. We customers are not drinking or eating anything for free, we pay and we expect a normal decency in service. Very bad!

Tuvimos una experiencia decepcionante en la calle Astra. Pauli Brauerei. Era el cumpleaños número 16 de mi hijo en medio de un corto viaje a Hamburgo. Lo y he aquí 16 años es la edad de consentimiento cuando se trata de cerveza en Alemania, así que estábamos buscando un lugar que había elaborado cerveza local (es decir: auténtico alemán), así como un buen menú para que pudiéramos conseguir el postre de cumpleaños requerido. Llegamos un poco después de las nueve... es un lugar cavernoso con muchos sitios para sentarse dentro y fuera, y sin atención de nadie que trabajara allí (con muy poca gente en el restaurante) encontramos un par de menús y un lugar para sentarse. El servidor vino y se llevó esos menús y nos dio una bebida - único menú ya que, al parecer, no sirven comida después de las 9 (incluidos los postres). Bummer para averiguar esto, ya que su sitio web solo enumeró su horario de apertura y no dio ninguna indicación de que no podíamos obtener nada de lo que queríamos si era más tarde en esas horas. Decidimos tomar nuestra cerveza e ir a otro lugar de postre. Quería conseguir el vuelo/muestreador de cerveza para que la primera experiencia de cerveza de mi hijo pudiera ser lo más rica posible. Enumeran un vuelo de cerveza en el menú de su sitio web, pero por alguna razón, después de las 9 pm, ya no ofrecen eso. Vale, así que no hay comida, ni postre, y sólo cerveza... pero ¿qué pasó con los vasos del tamaño del vuelo después de las 9 de la noche? ¿Están escondidos con la comida? ¿El chef los lleva a casa? ¿Por qué no pueden volar cuando sólo sirven cerveza? Nuestro servidor parecía especialmente molesto que estábamos incluso en el restaurante en absoluto. Así que al final, aunque disfruté de las 2 cervezas que conseguimos (Original 1909 Astra Urtyp [una cerveza básica] ) y la cerveza oscura "Night Shift" [agradable y chocolatera] - nos fuimos sintiéndonos decepcionados, no bienvenidos, y deseando haber elegido otro lugar para ir a tomar la primera cerveza de nuestro hijo en su cumpleaños.

We had a disappointing experience at Astra St. Pauli Brauerei. It was my son's 16th birthday in the middle of a short trip to Hamburg. Lo and behold 16 is the age of consent when it comes to beer in Germany so we were looking for a place that had locally brewed (ie: authentic German) beer as well as a good menu so we could get him the requisite birthday dessert. We arrived a little after nine...it's a cavernous place with lots of places to sit inside and outside, and with no attention from anyone who worked there (with very few people in the restaurant) we found a couple of menus and a place to sit. The server came by and took away those menus and gave us a drinks-only menu as, apparently, they don't serve food after 9 (including desserts). Bummer to find this out as their website only listed their opening hours and didn't give any indication that we couldn't get anything we wanted if it was later in those hours. Okay, so we decided we'd have our beer and go somewhere else for dessert. I wanted to get the beer flight/sampler so my kid's first beer experience could be as rich as possible. They list a beer flight on their website menu, but for some reason, after 9pm, they no longer offer that. Okay, so no food, or dessert, and just beer...but what happened to the flight-sized glasses after 9pm? Are they hidden away with the food? Does the chef take them home? What reason can't they do a flight when they're only serving beer? Our server seemed especially annoyed that we were even in the restaurant at all. So in the end, although I enjoyed the 2 beers we got (Original 1909 Astra Urtyp [a basic ale]) and the "Night Shift" dark beer [nice and chocolatey] - we left feeling disappointed, unwelcome, and wishing we had chosen somewhere else to go have our son's first beer on his birthday.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr nach Hamburg und machen dort Urlaub. Natürlich ist die Astra Brauerei dann Pflicht. Immer wieder gemütlich hier. Das Personal ist immer gut drauf, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist sehr lecker genauso wie das Bier. Man muss es einfach selbst erleben , wie schön es hier ist. Die Preise stimmen auch. Hier kann man einen schönen Abend verbringen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Das Schnitzel war leider zäh und kaum zu kauen. Leider sowohl bei mir als auch bei einer weiteren Person unserer Gruppe. Das darf nicht passieren..

Essen und Trinken sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Tolle Stimmung und direkt auf dem Kiez. Kommen gerne wieder.

Apart from the importance of Astra for HH, it's a really cool shop. Mega ambience and the service was also great. Unfortunately we were too late to test the food, but we will make up for it. Not a criticism, but perhaps important as information, the music is really loud and makes deep conversations difficult. We'll be back...

Schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen! Tolles Ambiente direkt an der Reeperbahn!

If you want to get really drunk then it's a great place. If you wanted to try one or two craft beers it isn't. The customers are very aggressive and it makes for not a good atmosphere. Because of this the staff seem unhappy. Had a weird vibe but for the location maybe that's to be expected.

Freundliches Personal,das Essen war sehr gut und das Bier sowieso. Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Eating is really not possible - schnitzel and steak were unfortunately both a disaster - tough and poor quality.

Bediener sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Essen leider nicht heiß, Geschmack aber sehr lecker. Geräuschpegel sehr hoch.

Sportsbar und Events, hier ist man richtig. Übersichtliche Essenskarte und überteuert, aber gut. Für grosse Gruppen mit Reservierung geeignet.

Ich war zur Brauereiführung. Super netter Führer. Leider stand ich im Stau, sodass ich den Anfang verpasst hatte. Der Führer hat mich extra angerufen und gefragt, ob ich noch komme. Ich hab gesagt, sie sollen gern schon anfangen, dass die anderen nicht warten müssen. Geplant war wohl eigentlich 60min, wir sind aber erst nach 90min fertig gewesen…Super empfehlenswert…ich mach das auf jeden Fall nochmal.

Really brilliant place to drink a beer in bed. It was really a pleasure. Lived right next door in the hotel, so practical.

There were three of us in the Astra and it was good. Nice location, the beers were tasty, the staff was very nice and quick. The food was ok for us. Had fish and chips and currywurst special. Large portions, quality ok. In our opinion the prices are a bit too high.

We went to the Astra brewery as part of the Reeperbahn Festival. After a long wait, the completely overwhelmed staff served us IPA and pale ale, even though we were sitting right at the counter, which reduced the expression "art of brewing" to absurdity. Dear Astra - stay where you are. Original type in tuber or can.

Wir haben die Brauerei Besichtigung/Tasting und Abendessen gebucht. Steven hat uns locker und mit viel Witz durch den Abend geführt. Schade war, dass die Führung zweisprachig war. Es zog sich alles ganz schön in die Länge. Das Essen war köstlich 😋
